Yoda, the green, diminutive Jedi Master from Star Wars who
is just about nine hundred years old when he passed away,
was famously parodied by mel Brooks as the schwartz Master
Yogurt in his nineteen eighty seven lampoon Spaceballs. Mel is
now set to reprise the role of Yogurt in the
upcoming Spaceball sequel, whi's recently been confirmed, and while Mel
will be a baby compared to Yoda, he'll make history

with his performance. He'll be one hundred years old by
the time the movie premieres, matching Norman Lloyd's record as
the oldest actor ever to appear on screen in a
scripted Hollywood film. To give you an idea of how
long he's been working, Mel's first on screen role was
more than sixty years ago. Even still, he was a
late bloomer thirty seven years old at the time. And
Spaceball two goes into production later this year.
