Alan Cumming is one of several of the original X
Men returning for the upcoming Marvel movie Avengers Doomsday, twenty
two years after he played Nightcrawler in X two, and
while several of his castmates expressed joy over reprising their roles,
for Alan, it was genuinely therapeutic. He tells people. It
was really healing to go back to something that was
a terrible experience when I did it the first time.
X two was miserable and awful for a variety of

reasons that I've talked about at length. And I'm sixty
years old, so I never thought I'd been doing stunts
playing a superhero. So that felt great, and everyone was
really nice. It was actually really incredible to go back
and rewrite that chapter. That's allan coming on returning to
play Nightcrawler in Avengers Doomsday, which his theaters in December
of twenty twenty sixth.
