Direct from Hollywood. The Pit was honored as the Most
Outstanding Drama Series at the Emmys over this past weekend,
which was a major win for HBO, and just as importantly,
it's been a commercial hit as well, building up a
passionate fan base after only one season and with a
style of show not really seen on streamers, and with
success like that, particularly with a procedural show, there's rumors

of spinoffs, but HBO's headhun show Casey Bloyse says that

make The Pit, the idea was, we're going to try
this and develop other shows in this model. They don't
have to be spinoffs. But the Pit showed that it

of shows, a cop show, a family show. We'll try

another one and it's going to work out, you never know,
