Direct from Hollywood. Ever since the runaway success of Barbie,
Mattel has been keen on turning every toy they manufacture
into a movie or TV show, and they've just found
the perfect filmmaker to adapt one of the most mysterious
toys ever made. M Night Shyamalan is directing a TV
show based on Magic eight Ball. You know that little

globe you shake, or answers float up to it, or
the questions that you ask it and Brad Folchuk, who
created American Horror Story, is co creating the series and
writing its episodes, so we're guessing it'll have an ominous
Twilight Zone type of vibe. It's not clear where Magic
eight Ball will air yet, but answers should fittingly emerge
out of the darkness pretty soon. That's direct from Hollywood.
