Direct from Hollywood. Everybody of a certain age remembers TVO,
the TV DVR system that allowed people to record their
favorite shows in HD quality for the first time. It
revolutionized how we watched TV. It even became a verb.
Back in the day. People would constantly be saying, I
t vote it. But I'm sad to report the t
BO box is officially a thing of the past. The

company has confirmed as of this month, they're no longer
selling any hardware devices, marking the end of a twenty
six year run. It's hard to exaggerate the impact TVO
had on the television industry. I mean it marked the
beginning of the on demand viewing era, which obviously led
to streaming. TiVo technology eventually became outdated, first with cable

boxes building DVRs directly into their own hardware, and then
with streamers taking over now. But if you're one of
the few and proud remaining TVO users, you'll be happy
to know TiVo will continue to offer support for pre
existing products that's direct from Hollywood.
