Speaker 1 (00:00):
Direct from Hollywood with Ryan Seacrest.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
The actor Glenn Powell grew up as a massive Stephen
King fan, so imagine the moment he found out he
had the lead role in the new adaptation of his
book The Running Man. There was a catch, so the
job was his if and only if Stephen himself approved.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Not only that, but he found out that Stephen would
be watching his movie hit Man before he made his
decision that night, and he had to wait overnight to
find out.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
That had to be torture for him. And he pretty
much told a crowdit Comic Con that it was, calling
it terrible. He was tossing and turning, hoping all night
that his idol liked him.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
That had two good things going for him. Ay, hit Man
is great, and he's awesome in it. Be it's Glenn.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Powell, and as Glenn's a Stephen King guy, it's fitting
that this version of The Running Man is a more
faithful adaptation of the book than the nineteen eighty seven
Schwarzenegger version.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Looking forward to this one, The Running Man in theater
is November fourteen.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
That's direct from Hollywood.
