Speaker 2 (00:03):
Emma Watson remains a household name, largely thanks to her
work in the Harry Potter franchise and several high profile
projects that followed well into adulthood. But since twenty nineteen
with a role in Little Women, Emma has turned down
every acting gig offer.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
To her and it sounds like I may stay that way.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
And while most actors who step away from acting to
do so because of issues with fame, for Emma, it
was the toll of film's publicity tour took on her.
She tells, Hollywood authentic. In some ways, I really won
the lottery with acting and what happened to me having
such a successful career is so unusual. But a bigger
component than the actual job itself is the promotion and
selling of that piece of art.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
The balance of that is off.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
I'll be honest and straightforward and say I do not
miss selling things. I found it to be quite soul destroying.
But I do very much mis using my skill set
in the art. But I got to do so little
of the part I actually enjoyed. That's Emma Watson, who
hads she's the happiest. She's ever been.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Now that's direct from Hollywood.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
