When the Golden Globes nominations were announced on Monday, a
nod in the Best Original Song Motion Picture made a
bit of history yep.

With Hundricks's Golden EJ became the first Korean American nominated
in this category.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
I love that and EJ spoke with Billboard about what
the moment means, not just for her individually, but for
all the little girls across the country who look like her, And.

She says, for anyone who just feels doubted, who doesn't
see themselves in that space enough, this shows that they
have a chance.

Yeah. She hopes that it can give confidence to other
little girls or guys, because it would have meant a
lot for her younger self to witness this moment, since
she says.

It's so rare and it certainly shouldn't be.
