If you love CBS police procedural blue Bloods and Donny
Walberg's detective Danny Reagan in particular, he got good news.
Detective Reagan will be hitting ninety five North to move
from the NYPD to Boston PD for his own standalone
spinoff series, Boston Blue, though the title may change. Interestingly,
the project actually didn't start as a Blue Blood show.

An idea was pitched to CBS a show centered on
a family of Boston cops and a new officer transferring
in from LAPD. CBS loved the script so much and said,
why not make it a cop from New York instead
of la Donnie Wahlberg's Danny Reagan. The idea works so
well they ordered the full show, and the blue Blood spinoff,
Boston Blue, is now set to make its debut on
CBS this fall.
