Speaker 1 (00:00):
We just want to hear from you, and I don't
think that's too much to ask. And it's really stressing
me out that you're not calling eight seven seven nine
three seven one oh four seven John Jay and Rich.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Apparently reservation scalping is a thing now where some people
are reselling dining reservations. So diners are complaining they're struggling
to nab spots on third party reservation platforms like Rezie,
and there's others too, and restaurants are arguing that these
people are siphoning away their revenue. Apparently the numbers are
(00:34):
in the past, they've had about ten percent of the
reservations not show up, and over the last couple of
years when these reservation sites have started now shut up
to like twenty five percent. People aren't buying the reservations.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
All all right.
Speaker 4 (00:46):
That's why like a lot of like up uptown places
have you put your credit card down, which kind of
bothers me. But they're afraid you're going to cancel or
sell resell.
Speaker 5 (00:54):
I have not experienced anything like this, Oh.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
Yeah, like on an open table for sure.
Speaker 5 (00:58):
I don't really go to places where there are resid
to walk up.
Speaker 6 (01:02):
I'm on this email list for this. It's like some
restaurant I think bar thing, and it's like simulates you
being in an airplane. I think it's called carry on plane.
I like sign up for the emails because I really
want to try it, and I can never get a
reservation there. I'm always too late. So I'm kind of
like I would appreciate a ticket scalper in this situation.
I can't get a reservation. I can understand. No, they
(01:24):
have like they send like a long wait list and
they send out a reservation. You have to get it
like riding.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Down and open like a certain amount of reservations at
a time, and really I really want to looks really fun.
Speaker 6 (01:34):
Yeah, it's like it's.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Like it's like a themed restaurant and they like theme
the experience with like different drinks and stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:41):
Yeah, but you're in an airplane.
Speaker 6 (01:43):
It's like No, it's like it's like you I think
you go into like a restaurant, but it looks like
you're in an airplane.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Like the windows on the side look like anyway.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
Anyway, I mean, I guess if you like to travel,
I think it would be cool.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
So they have found individuals cope with pain better when
a friend is present, but even better when their dog
is nearby. The reason, they say is the oxytocins, the
hormone that's released when loved ones and pets are present.
But they even found that an unfamiliar dog can bring
this same pain relieving effect.
Speaker 5 (02:17):
So get a dog from love puff put or somewhere.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
That's why they have those therapy dogs walk around the
hospital like it's a great thing.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah, and scientifically back too, you guys, this is this
is so funny to me, but also not really that
surprising and surprising at the same time. So there's a
story like metal braces are back. Everyone wants braces right now.
I know my daughter, she's all about bracest. When you
think I'm gonna get bracest want they want braces.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
I hated braces.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
The thing that was shocking to me, like I wanted
braces like back in the day. So like that's the
non shocking part of the story to me. The shocking
part was that they're actually selling fake fashion braces online now,
so people who don't even need the braces are just
wearing the braces to look like they have braces.
Speaker 6 (03:04):
That's crazy. When I was like in middle school and
I really wanted braces. I would take like those you know,
those colored rubber bands that you put in your hair,
and I would just stretch them all over my Yeah,
I had had braces on, not.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Knowing that probably actually was moving your teeth.
Speaker 6 (03:20):
Now I think about it, I do remember it hurting,
But beauty is past.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Yesterday we were eating yesterday, I was that Peyton I
camera were doing but I was looking. I was like,
you got really nice teeth. Actually, you, Kyle, you both
have richel you have very large teeth.
Speaker 6 (03:32):
I do.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
You're welcome.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
I took a lot of metal teeth, was.
Speaker 6 (03:36):
Very self conscious, and then I got them done and
I feel a lot better about my smile.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Yeah, it makes a big difference. But I mean I
didn't see the buying the fake fashion braces online. But
they're saying, if you're thinking about doing it, don't because
they can actually cause infections or tooth damage and are
pretty dangerous.
Speaker 5 (03:51):
For your teeth.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
So leave the braces to the professionals. And that's three
things you need to do.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
I want to talk about you friends restaurant. I think
they brought in food a couple of weeks ago. Yeah,
I've been there like three times now you Yeah, And
I just freaking love that place, and I think, to me,
in my opinion, it has the possibility to be a
humongous like she's going to be a multi hundred millionaire
whatever whenever the time comes for her to sell it.
Speaker 5 (04:15):
But you just said something great happened to her.
Speaker 6 (04:17):
Absolutely. Yeah. So my friend Angel, she's actually the one
that's in charge of my whole rebrand. Love Her big
fan of her.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
So she's the one that's the one that started the.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
Owner of.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
Yes, she's she's pretty cool.
Speaker 6 (04:31):
Her name is Angel. She's over at love By all
of the time. So if you go, you'll probably I've.
Speaker 5 (04:35):
Never seen her there. I'm her three times. I've never
seen her.
Speaker 6 (04:37):
Oh wow, she's up there all the time. But she
had texted me yesterday some really big news and she
just got accepted and invited to be one of the
featured food like food trucks at Coachella this year. Oh
that's awes Yeah, And so I'm like, and I already
she has like pink noodles and rice, Like that's gonna
go viral, Like.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
It's so instagrammable, and like at Coachella, that's what you're
looking for.
Speaker 6 (05:01):
Like that, and it's actually like really good food.
Speaker 5 (05:05):
So it's pink for a reason, right, use this like it's.
Speaker 6 (05:09):
Not like die or anything.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
But I think she's like flowers through.
Speaker 6 (05:12):
Or something like that to like organically color the law.
Speaker 5 (05:15):
That's funny. I thought it was the way Rice was.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
We just didn't know it, like we see the Rice
after it's been all process and stuff.
Speaker 6 (05:21):
No, I don't think so. I think she adds some
stuff to kind of make it all girly and cube.
But yeah, so she's gonna be out at Coachella. So
if you're out at Coachella Weekend one or weekend two,
look for the Love Bite because I think that's pretty cool.
I mean, in Arizona, business being featured at Coachella and
a woman owns business.
Speaker 5 (05:36):
Yeah heck yeah, so cool. So so if.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
You think about this, so they're downtown love Byite, Downtown Roosevelt,

a couple of things happen in downtown. You've got opening Day,
diving back's huge, you hat Love Bite, you got Johnny
