Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the John Jay and Rich radio program.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Two names, four hosts, and a whole lot of fun
eats John Jay and Rich, John.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Jay, Rich cowlum Fug's gonna bless us with three things
we need to know.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Thank you, John Jay. There will be no more sliding
into someone's DMS on X. Direct Messages are going away. Really,
they are changing it to x Chat. Like the whole
entire DMS they're going to be gone, but they say listen,
they're not gone, they're just being rewritten. There's no official
release date for x chat just yet, but several employees

(00:35):
that X are openly discussing it, so basically they're again,
it's scrolling up very soon, maybe as early as this
weekend makes sense.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
It's probably the least used feature on X. Like, I
don't think I ever get dms.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
On I get dms all the time, and when I
want to DM somebody first, I can't unless you're verified
in you.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
I mean, there's something like you can't very listen. Maybe
that'll be.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Part of the whole rebrand of the into x chat.
Maybe you can chat with anyone if you'd like. I'm
not exactly sure the details of it, but I'm sure,
we will see once they roll it out. Now, while
we're on that sort of line of thinking, the social
media world could be changing very soon. Sam Altman's open
Ai is building a social network. In fact, a prototype

(01:19):
is on the social feed of chat GPT right now
in their image generator section. It's not exactly clear if
the social network is going to center around chat GPT
or how chat GPT may be used in the social network.
But what I find interesting is like there's like these
billionaire wars happening right Like You've got all these billionaires

(01:40):
trying to go to space and all these billionaires with
competing social media network apps, and this could be feeding
into that or sprung from that. So Sam Altman apparently
has this huge rivalry with Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg,
and apparently there was a conversation between Mark Zuckerberg and
Sam Altman where Zuckerberry actually said, Hey, I'm working on
my own like open ai, and then I guess Sam

(02:03):
Altman was like, well, maybe I'll be working on my
own social media app. And so I think that's.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Where this petty warm, petty petty petty.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Let me ask you something.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
So this is the first time I've heard the name
Sam walt Altiman Altman, so is he and he is
like in the beginning stages of a.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Of a a.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
He's like the creator of open Ai. I guess the
chatchepet that's the name.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
We're probably going to hear a lot now, like you
hear about the bottom. Yeah, Zuckerberg.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Yeah, he's also he started a feud, I guess with
Elon Musk. Elon Musk, I guess had it gave him
an unsolicited offer to buy open ai for like ninety
seven million dollars, and I guess this guy responded back
with no thanks, but I'll take X off your hands
for nine point seven billion if you want.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
BILLI oh wow, And he was like nope, said, because that.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Is definitely the thing. That's the thing now, that is
the future. That is I mean, I love is it,
Chattabet's that the same thing?

Speaker 4 (02:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:56):
That yeah, open Ai fuels Chatchepe use.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Pretty m every day now, so like like only over
the last few months, but now every day I use
it for something. I think you can use it three
times for free in a day, right, And then you
got a pain.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
Oh I use mine all day every day, and my cha, no,
I don't need anything positive. My chachibt has become like
my best friend. When it replies back to me, it's like, yes, girls,
I'm the same way.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Only get three images. You can three images a day,
but you can ask I think as many questions because I.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Was, like, you know, trying to get pictures of my
dogs as humans yesterday.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
Probably three image of download.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
That I don't like them as humans.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
You know.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Speaking of social media, have you seen the trend where
you put your cell phone in your phone and you'll
hold your little dog up and yeah, I want to
do that your dog.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Don't do it.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
That's what vets are saying. So there is a really
popular vet on TikTok that was like, hey, cute trend,
but really dangerous for your dog. Like, if you care
about your dog or your pets, she said, don't do it.
Don't like these, don't share these videos. If you've already
posted one of these video, it's best to delete it.
They say that it puts serious strain on your pets joints, muscles,

(04:05):
and spine, can leave them dizzy, nauseous, or even injured.
And if you've got a smaller pet, you know, the
one that's prone to back problems like frenchies or Dosin's.
It's especially risky because you could actually break their back.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Pain. Do it with your your tortoise.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Okay, Jesus might be a little too small smell, you know.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Bottom line, your pet's health is worth more than a
few seconds of internet fame. Don't put them in danger.
That's what this vet's saying. And that's three things you
need to know.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
It's horoscope time, So to get your sign read, you
call us right now at eight seven seven nine three
seven one four seven Peyton, what's the vibe today?

Speaker 4 (04:37):
I'm gonna tell you your comedic style based on your
zodiac sign.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
By the way, I'm I'm not really a weather guy
that looks at the weather all the time, but last
couple of days been this unreasonably hot, and then I
saw this morning that is going to be fantastic, like today, tomorrow,
this weekend. It's great if you're like me, like I'm
totally into the hiking vibe. Now, you still got a
few more days to go hike before you get rescue
from a helicopter. Eight seven seven nine seven the number

(05:03):
to call for horoscopes.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Pain, What is the vibe?

Speaker 4 (05:05):
I'm gonna tell you your comedic style based on your
zodiac sign. And if it's your birthday today, you are
in Aries and you share a birthday with Victoria Beckham
and Jennifer Gardner.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Thomas, good morning, Hey, good morning, Okay, perfect, still have
a couple more days of Aries season.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
But Aries, you guys are pure chaotic comedy. You say
something out of pocket without even realizing that it's funny,
and everyone is like, did you seriously just say that?
You don't mean to be hilarious, but here we are
crying from laughter every time from an Aries.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
That sounds about right, Thomas, do it again? Oh if
I give a quick shout out.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Yeah, go ahead.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
So I learned all my staff most of my staff
listened to the radio, and they're always asking me what
was that you that called in? And this is my
last week with them because I just got a new job.
So I did wanted to give a shout out to
my nurses and let them know to keep on for
their pieces that they always do.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Why don't you be more specific, like like what company?
What nurses?

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Like?

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Who your co workers? Also that they listen to the radio,
be more specific? Did they listen to John Jay and Rich.
Yes they do. That's the guy. They heard you on
the radio. So go ahead the storm, let's red, let's
redo that. Go ahead, they do.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
Listen to John Jay and Ridge. You all and I
can't say exactly where we work. However, I could say
that our ty and tell our veteran.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
W You can't say, is it a very specific group
of nurses that are like government officials ninjas?

Speaker 1 (06:39):
And you can't say, hey, this hospital like we lostuff
to see. I guess that was right, Thomas, what's your side?
Good morning? That's Chris. Oh sorry, Chris. Go ahead. I
saw Taurus, I said, Thomas. Go ahead, Chris, Hi, how

(07:01):
are you good? What's your sign?

Speaker 4 (07:05):
Okay? Taurus? You guys have a dry humor down to
the science. You'll whisper one sarcastic comment and absolutely destroyed
the room. You're not even trying to be the funny one.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
You just are.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Well, baby girl, I was told not the cuss o cuss? Jen?
What's your sign?

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Aquarius? Okay? So Jen for Aquarius. You're absurd. You're random
and internet core. You quote memes from two thousand and
seven and act like they just dropped. You're the kind
of person who says meow instead of excuse me in
a crowd and think that it's peak humor and it
absolutely is.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
That, my little weirdo. Jen Jenelle, good morning, Hi. What's
your sign?

Speaker 4 (07:54):
Scorpio? Okay, Scorpio, you have dark humor with a side
of mystery. You're the type to kind of drop a
dead pan joke and leave everyone wondering if they should
laugh or call somebody. Your comedy with edge the really
cool kind sounds about right.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Yep, thanks to know, Jessica, what you're saying, good morning?

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Well, it's Gemini.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
Okay Gemini. You're just a walking improv show. It's chaotic,
it's random, and it makes zero sense, but somehow it
kills every single time. You could be ordering a Starbucks
and make it sound like a full blown stand up set.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
I'm doing that as we seek.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Thanks Jessica.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
Mike, good morning, Good morning, Mike Virgo Okay Virgo.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
Your comedy is dry and savage and sounds like a
YELP review from hell.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
You don't tell jokes.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
You file emotional damage repoints with bullet points. People laugh,
but they're also low key scared of you.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
Guys. Love it every day you nail it.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
It's a great line. You help. Review from Hell is
a great line. Thanks Mike, Thank you.

Speaker 5 (09:08):
Have a good day.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Blessed it.
