Speaker 1 (00:00):
Our phone numbers eight seven, seven nine three seven one
oh four seven.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
We dropped the couple's podcast yesterday, So wherever you get
podcasts and search John Jay and Rich on demand and
you could hear episode three of the couple's podcast. First
episode was Rich and his wife Stacy, second episode was
Peyton and her boyfriend Kadem. Third episode is Blake and Me,
and it dropped yesterday. In fact, my wife is on
the phone, good morning, beautiful.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Good morning, hey, Blake.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
So I wanted to ask, was it when you sat
down with John Jay in the studio and the conversation's
all formal, was it it all awkward? Because it's different
from when you guys do you know, just talk on
your walks?

Speaker 3 (00:37):
You know what I have to say. I sat in
your safe Kyle, sorry, and I felt your calm, fun,
exciting vibe while I was there, and it was really
easy for me, like it was just a conversation. So
it felt like it didn't feel stressed or anything like
I normally did. I normally sweat, I can't sleep the

(00:59):
night before, but it felt it felt natural.

Speaker 5 (01:03):
Question, as you talk to John Jay, the difference between
talking to him at home and then talking to him
on the radio. Is it different? What part does he
stop paying attention to the most the soonest.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
At home he tunes me out like that's that's it.
I have to say things a bunch of times. But
he was actually engaging and listening.

Speaker 5 (01:23):
Well, it was working podcast, So I think I think
it was actually a great therapy.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
I think it was actually a great therapy session. Every
time we have trouble, I think we needed to sit
down and cash it out with headphones on.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
There was a lot of questions we got after the podcast,
and I was going to just host hold of them
for the next time you and I ever do the podcast,
But one of them was like, how does Blake sleep
with your seatpap noise and Choni's over your head at
night every night?

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Actually, it's so, I actually think those things are a
blessing because I used to have to get up and
sleep in a different room because there was a law
and mower next to me the entire night. Oh anymore,
so I'm actually very grateful for things.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
All right, Well that's a good question. All right, have
a great day. I love you. The Couple's podcasts is
available on our on demand channel wherever you get podcast
Jon Jan Rich on demand.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
All right, taltul Later, John Jay and Rich I do
the same thing.

Speaker 6 (02:21):
I told you that.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
I it's John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
So Bieber Killer Roy hanging out Coachella.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Lots of Coachella stuff.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
You go to our website or go to social media,
you can see as much so much Coachella. Okay, So
we just talked to Blake. But I'm going to be
honest with our audience. Okay, that happened on Friday. That
interviewed Blake happened on Friday, and there was some something
that happened behind the scenes that was really funny that
we thought we should play because what happened was, I

(02:58):
don't eve remember why. We were just got done talking
to somebody and we got Blake on the phone for something,
and then we and then Rich had this idea to
get Blake on the phone to tape a call with
her to run today to promote yesterday's podcast You follow Me?

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Does that make sense? Okay?

Speaker 2 (03:15):
But then, so what you're gonna hear right now is
kind of the way that came up. So we said
goodbye to this girl, Jen, I think your name is Jen.
We said goodbye to Jen, and then Rich has this idea.
And then my wife was having breakfast with her dad
and stepmom.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Right, she just walked away and she tells us something.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
So so what you're about to hear is literally behind
the scenes, just happened Friday. All right, Jen, thank you
for calling in, Blake. You have a great day. Hopefully
I'll see you later. Yes, okay, Well an idea all
gonna say goodbye to you, Blake, and then and we'll
no hold on all right, it's a thank you, Blake,

(03:54):
Thank you, Jen, Shandy Rich Kiss FM.

Speaker 5 (03:56):
Come on, wait, wait, Blake. The idea of that is
that we have Blake on is a guest to promote
the pdcast. Oh you mean after it airs, yes, after
after it drops on Sunday. We have her on Monday
is a guest to promote the bunk.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Okay, So forget that call ever took place? Got it?

Speaker 5 (04:13):
Okay? And guess what.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Guess who's guess who joined my breakfast with my dad
and Diana?

Speaker 2 (04:18):
And he won't be There's somebody I know, Yes, somebody
joined your breakfast and he won't leave, okay, like he
sat down at your table.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
I'm trying to My dad hasn't left for thirty minutes.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Can I guess who is sure?

Speaker 6 (04:38):
I just assume it's Noah.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
I would welcome that. No is a delight, all right, No,
I would welcome.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
I can tell you guys who it is. I know
I'm not for sure rich No, No, I mean, I'll
write it down. I know rich knows who it is.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
I don't say, don't say, but okay, all.

Speaker 5 (04:59):
Right, we're gonna promote your appearance on the A couple
of therapy podcasts.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
I know this is Richard's idea. What now?

Speaker 5 (05:11):
Well again, so we're promoting the Couple's therapy podcasts and
then dropped yesterday special guest, special guest, Blake And so
we've like booked her on the show to promote the podcast.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
All right, uh, special guest on the line, you guys,
the star of the most recent Couple's Therapy podcast.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Blake Van asked, nice job, Yeah, yeah, very nice.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
If you miss any of the podcast, you can listen
to it on our on demand channel. But good morning,
Blake Van ass good morning. And then you heard what
happened on Friday, and that's what that then you heard
the rest of it, but that was some of the
you know, it's interesting about the guy that sat down
with her. It's just having a Friday. I just the
balls on some people like to me, the guy goes there,

(05:53):
stands at you know, Blake's eating breakfast with her family,
and he stands there and she introduces him, and then
he's this is the part of those doing goes.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Do you mind if I pull up a chair and
then pulls up a chair and stays for forty five minutes?
Forty five minutes.

Speaker 5 (06:07):
That's terrible, I know, right.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
It was a politician who was trying to raise money
for his run, which I thought we were over.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
I didn't know politics are still going on. I thought
that whole thing they're kind of always going on, right,
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Man, So anyway, so it's just a little behind the
scenes thing real quick, let's get into some TV, uh
rich the show on Apple TV with John Hamm.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
Yeah, you're friends in neighbors.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Yeah quick.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
John Ham's like at everything. He's like Nicole kidman.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
No, he started outlive.

Speaker 5 (06:36):
Oh he did, didn't see it yet?

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Yeah, that's it good? Yeah, you know I got to
sing now.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
It started out live where I watched the opening, I
watched the news, and then I watched the artists like Lizzo.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
I know Lizzle's canceled, but damn she's good. Is she
still canceled?

Speaker 7 (06:48):
I think I think so.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
But she is so talented though, and she looks amazing.

Speaker 7 (06:53):
She's doing a good job though with her cancelation, though
she's staying under wraps.

Speaker 5 (06:56):
H's what she needs, right, right?

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (06:58):
No.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
In the middle of John Ham's uh monologue, Karen cole kid, Oh.

Speaker 7 (07:01):
Yeah, kid here, I know.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
I'm just just making a cameo. Why.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
I'm a huge, huge star and I'm doing really well
all by myself.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
All right, I'm sorry. Man, Hey, I'll make it up
to you. Okay, cool man, just give you your asker.

Speaker 5 (07:18):
But don't you have enough man, I've seen those photos
of you in your grace west Mans.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Nice.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
This show's pretty good. So his show is he's like
some Wall Street guy that loses everything and he lives
in this foofy neighborhood. So he decides to start stealing
stuff from his friend's rich houses to sell, like on
the slide. So there's only two episodes out, but it's good.
It's good.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
I'm almost done with the second episode. It is good.
It's just kind of a.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
Slow build I think I'm in the middle of the
first episode. I mean, I feel like the slow build
is kind of necessary because you see his life all
apart and how he gets to the point of where
he's so desperate.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
He starts off with his dead body and blood. I'm like, Okay,
how's he going to get to there? But right now
I'm not even I'm almost done with the second and
he has n't got to the part where like anything's
happening yet and he just starts stealing watches right now.
But anyway, nineteen twenty three ended two right season two?

Speaker 5 (08:09):
Did you watch the finale A season one? Let me
just say that is as good as any movie I've
ever seen. In fact, I think I may rewatch the
whole thing that I thought it was so well done.
Big budget looks great. Harrison Ford only has two speeds
for acting. Now he's either whispering like I think we're
going to get invaded, We're gonna have to protect the land,
or he's yelling at the top of his lungs about nothing.

(08:31):
You gotta put up that fence by free. But he's great.
The whole cast is great. Highly recommend.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Okay, you know what I can't get into right now
is Black Mirror. I don't know why, I you know what.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
I started watching the first episode of.

Speaker 5 (08:45):
It, and it's great.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Really, I don't think I would expect to be number
one on Netflix, but it's not.

Speaker 7 (08:50):
I just feel like Black Mirror has lost its like
fizzle like it was, like, so I feel like the
episodes in the more recent seasons aren't as like jaw
dropping first one.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
I mean they're still disturbing to think of, like if
you put yourself in the shoes of like that that position.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Like the first episode is basically.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
About this woman who she faints and ends up being
possibly brain dead, right, and they have like this new
technology where they can upload part of your brain to
the cloud and then you have to pay a subscription
and if you go out of the coverage area, she
like faints again yet literally like her brain another yeah,
kind of kind of it away and I was just

(09:28):
like watching it, going I don't think I need to
finish this episode right now.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
She starts doing ads because she's not paying for the
tier that gets you no ads. So in the middle
of the day she'll be like espresso beans from Canada
and like she'll do an AD and it's starting to
get her in trouble at work because she's a school teacher.
But I thought it was decent.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
I liked it.

Speaker 7 (09:47):
I mean I genuinely like Black Mirror. I think it's
fun to be able to like think about things like
that sometimes. But have you seen this stuff where it's
like people who haven't seen season one or season two
of Black Mirror and they're starting on season three, episode one.
All the people are like, no, you need to go
start watch episode one, season one and be traumatized like the.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
Rest of us, right, but you can watch him out
of order? Yeah. Great.

Speaker 6 (10:07):
The thing that is crazy in the first episode of
this most recent season is what the husband does to
pay for the subscription for your wife, And you're like,
the things you would do to keep your wife's subscription
on and to keep her alive. He starts cutting out
his teeth on the internet for pay, like on like
an onlyfan style thing, and it ends in the darken Kyle,

(10:30):
I'd be like.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
You know what, it looks like, you're vegetable. You would
never let that good
