Speaker 1 (00:00):
I've been dying to get into this because I really

(00:02):
really like this. I remember what time I took an
aerobics class with a guy that was completely out of shape.
He was overweight and he had a headband and he
was the aerobics teacher and I was.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Like, Hey, I can't believe I'm taking this class this guy.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
But he kicked my ass.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Ah, he was amazing.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
But there's an article out says, what is the don't
trust a skinny food critic of your industry?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
H well that's good, right, So you.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Think about it. Do you trust a skinny food critic?
I think he can, right?

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Or no?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
What do you guys think?

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Can you? I don't know because you're like, are you
actually eating the things? Like this person says, don't trust
the plumber who bites his nails.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
You, Yeah, that's a rose.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
I'm a contractor. Be wary of a customer who claims
they know how to do what they're paying you to do.
I work in finance. The more a dude gels his hair,
the more of a pain of the buddy's going to be.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
Is the chef one on there the show, It's like, yeah,
where it's like you can't trust a chef who's super skinny.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Well, that's just like this, just.

Speaker 5 (01:02):
Like how how about you can't trust a pilot with
thick glasses?

Speaker 1 (01:07):
I kind of want them to see right, that's true.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Okay, what about like a hairdresser with like out of
style hair, like a like a good mall bangs.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Don't trust a restaurant manager who's never waited a table.
Don't trust a wine sales rep who wears heavy colone
and perfume and messes up your ability to taste samples
and sales meetings. You should not trust an engineer who
tells you it's okay to do a product push at
three thirty on a Friday afternoon. Don't trust an electrician
with no.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Eyebrows things have gone away.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Don't trust an IT person who hasn't caused an or
organizational wide outage at least once.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Wow, they all work here.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Don't trust a teacher who isn't interested in learning new things.
Don't trust a principal who is never a teacher. Be
careful of personal injury attorneys who excessively advertise. Don't trust
a scientist who can't say I don't know. A good

(02:06):
scientist knows they don't know everything. Don't trust a pastor
who wears expensive shoes and watches ooh interesting.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Oh that means they're taking from the tail.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Yeah, if he's got an iPad and a white button
down shirt, he's not there to fix your equipment. He's
there to try and sell you new equipment. Something to
think about.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Good morning, Omar, Good morning.

Speaker 5 (02:27):
I ruined one of my wife's like really nice pants
when I was trying to cook a steak with way
too much heat. I like, you know, I looked up
online like you're supposed to like salted scrub it, f
lip it, and I mean I even looked into like
electro stasis cleaning or however you clean like fancy jewelry
and stuff like that. So I tried to make it

(02:49):
look as good as I could. A week later, her
mom use it tries to tries to cook on the
stove so it's off his smoke alarm, and my wife
got so upset with her mom that she's not talking
to her. So I'm not sure if I should come
clean or not.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Man.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
No, yeah, you said you need, you need to hide
and you should buy new pan. You know, you're using
a lot of big words for me to understand. So
you use the pan and ruin the pan, which I
completely relate to I'm not allowed to use the pans
in my house. But what did you do too?

Speaker 5 (03:23):
I like I heard like like if you use like salt,
it's like way more abrasive. So I was using that
to like scrub clean it. And then I looked online
to like somebody said soaking vinegar for a while. But
I couldn't just like have a cup of vinegar laying
around the house, so I looked. I looked into like
one of those fancy, like those electric jewelry cleaners. You know.

(03:44):
It's like, yeah, it's what the jewelers used to like
keep your rings clean. But they don't have to like
touch them or scrub them or anything.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I thought they just dumped them in like diet coke.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Okay, But so you did this to the pan. You
did this to all this stuff to the pan to
make it.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Look like it was brand new, or make it look
like you didn't ruin it.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Yeah, and then mother in law goes and cooks on it,
and because of all the chemicals on the pan, it
lights up on fire and starts smoking. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:07):
I'm not sure if I just ended up packing whatever
I cooked down, like all the steakunk just like deeper
into the pan. I'm not sure what I did, but.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
You ruined it.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
Oh yeah, it's total.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
And what is a what does a pan cost? Per se?

Speaker 4 (04:21):
Like like a fancy pan, like if it's like a
cast iron pan?

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Yeah, those are expensive? Is an expensive pan? It is?

Speaker 5 (04:28):
I think it was part of like a wedding set.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Honestly. Yeah, they could be.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Like two to three dollars.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
Yeah, yeah, like for the heavy duty goes because those
can last generations if you take care of them.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
So we have these pans I'm not allowed to use, right,
so I've in the past, I've ruined the pan. So
she gets new pants, but she throws out the pan
that's ruined, and that's the pan that I would use.
Why not keep it so I can continue to use
that pans?

Speaker 2 (04:54):
I agree with that.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Right now, it's like I don't know what pans or
what pans, and I'll be like and then my son
Jake will use the pan. All you know, he ruined
it too, So now we're not allowed touch the pants.
Jake just need to go to TJ Max and get
a couple of pans, like I want to have a pan.
This is I'd like to get my own pan. Monogram
and says, this is John Jay's pan. If you no
one touch my pan.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
If you go to Walgreens or CVS and goes and
he has seen on TV they got that red copper,
it's like fifteen bucks.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
You know this guy, Gerry Breca. I actually was having
a conversation with this guy and I asked because every
time he shows that he cooks steaks in his pants,
and he looked so good, and I'm like, what kind
of pantising? He said, I'm glad you asked me that question,
and then he told me and I don't remember, but
it was a cool looking pan, and I just want
to get one, and I'm going to have it and

(05:41):
no one can ever use it. I'm going to take
it with me to work and keep my backpack and
no one could ever use my pan.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Take it with you.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
This is my pan. You know what's gonna happen Right now,
Kyle's listening, and on my birthday next year, Kyle's gonna
give me a pan.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
Oh my god, save this tape, writing writing in my
notes John Jay's personal pan for Christmas.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
I can Christmas birthday.

Speaker 2 (06:06):

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Caway really nice, right, okay, they're really nice.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
What I asked, not cheap.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
He's like, I'm glad you asked. And he called he
said Caraway and I never heard.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
What do those go for a good one.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
I don't know. I just know they're not cheap.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
I think I've only seen him sold as a set
and it's like five six hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
I just did one pan.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Severally.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
I don't know, Omar, try the care Away due to
cara Away. If your pants are told depends, do to
care Away?

Speaker 2 (06:37):
All right?

Speaker 5 (06:37):
What I said, I'm gonna have to google care Away
and probably.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Attle don't admit it, but just get her a new one. Go, Hey, sorry,
your mom ruined your pan. Give for a break. You
should talk to her. Here's a new Caroway. Then you
get away with it. Don't bead place.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
They'll be mad at your mom.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Yeah, all right, Omar, I have a great day.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Due he said, goodbye.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
