Speaker 1 (00:00):
Tony, what's up?

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Good morning? Hey, Hey, I am in a submarine twenty
six miles off the Australian coast. I am off of
speaker phone, so I hope that helps.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Yeah, sound great, that's amazing.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
No, So you guys posed a interesting question January sixth
of last year. You said you'd ask at the end
of well, I guess last year now twenty twenty five,
who the first caller was of twenty twenty five? And
I have the answer for you.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
I remember us talking about that. Okay, what's the answer.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
So it was Lisa and she was calling about a
show called Missing You, and of which John Jay had
already finished the entire series at the time of colleague. So, wow, look.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
At you, because I mean, I don't even think we
can remember that.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
I don't remember that show, so wow.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Yeah, So I just wanted to send that out. You
said there was a lot of money prize, so I
don't know, just kind of pulling that out there.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
But yeah, you're gonna spend another submarine.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
Well, first of all, it's not jau All right, Well
hold on, TONI are you really to submarine.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
In Australia or no, No, I'm just passing mess with here.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
I totally bought that. So then we have to ask
this question next year about Tony. Where did Tony say
he was calling from? Yeah? Right, keep track? Yeah, all right,
so a whole lot. I'm sure we can find something
for you. But thanks a lot, thanks for calling in you. Yeah, okay,
we forgot to do first Caller of the Day of
the year.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
I like how you said there's a lot of money
prize attached to it. Exactly what we said. We're gonna
have a whole bunch of money for you. Who's the
first person we talked to this year? Who's the first
per caller? The person it was the person that we
played the zay it probably zaying with what a bummer? Anyway,
let's get into uh entertainties. What do you call paying
what he has got?

Speaker 3 (01:59):
The Critics Choice Awards kicked off Awards season last night.
One Battle after Another was the biggest winner of the evening.
They won Best Picture, Best Director, Adapted Screenplay, Sinners in
Frankenstein followed close behind Now When it comes to TV, HBO,
max Is the Pit, Apple TV's The Studio, and Netflix's Adolescents.

(02:19):
Those were the big winners across drama comedy and limited series.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
I would show you guys watched the Leonardo Kappri movie, No,
but I want to see it.

Speaker 6 (02:27):
Thought the kid from Adolescence was throwing me because he's
so tall. Now I know, he's like taller than the
rest of the cast. I was like, wait a minute, it's.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
So funny too, because when he went on and presented
an award as well, and I was watching it and
my daughter Addie goes, he's like a kid.

Speaker 6 (02:44):
I was like, yeah, there's kid actors do mab.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Timothy Shallo May He won big he won Best Actor
for Marty Supreme. And the end of his speech what
had is what had everyone talking because of course Kylie
Jenner was.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
There with him.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Last y' I'll just say thank you to my partner
three years. Thank you for our foundation.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
I love you. I can't do this without you.

Speaker 6 (03:04):
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
Thank you so much, appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
I was like, this's propose already, come on, three years.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
They were together that long Because she's with Travis Scott,
this seems like a year ago.

Speaker 6 (03:14):
I love them together like that. It makes me so
happy for Kylie. And then they pan to her and
she like mouths like I love you. I'm like.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
She does a good job supporting him because, like I mean,
by all accounts, she technically is a bigger star than him,
but like she'll walk behind him, she gives him his flowers,
like she's a good supportive girlfriend in that situation.

Speaker 6 (03:34):
And I don't know, I really like it.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Had anybody in her watch Morny Supreme?

Speaker 6 (03:37):
No, but I wanted to go see it in theaters.
I heard it's really long.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Though I heard it was a little weird. I've talked
to three people. These are the three reviews.

Speaker 5 (03:43):
One person said was phenomenal, one person said it was terrible,
and the third person said it was midnew.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
My niece saw it and she said it was good,
it was really weird, and she doesn't know if she
needs to watch it again, but she wouldn't say.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
It's a bad movie.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Did you guys hear my kid Audrey's story about that
they were filming it right down the street from her
dorm and New York, so they were walking by a lot,
made friends with the casting director, so they got props
from the movie, like some of his ties cool and
they even said, because you're here waiting around so long,
you might be in a background scene. So they went
to go see it to see if they were in
a movie.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
They were not sure to have, like I might be
in a movie.

Speaker 6 (04:24):
Yeah, maybe the New Year it really is starting out
with a bang because Alex Earl and NFL legend Tom
Brady are sparking major romance rooms. They're spotted dancing it
up and getting all cozy at some New Year's start.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (04:36):
I was like, Okay, Alex, you go girl, I guess.
But then the next day they were seen on a
yacht with Leonardo DiCaprio, Like, okay, so there's a twenty
three years there too. I'm like all of the bachelors,
I guess. But there's a twenty three year age gap
between Alex and what's his name? Tom Brady. So I'm like, okay, Alex,

(04:57):
what are you up to? You just announce your breakup
with your boyfriend Black symbarios two weeks.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
She's doing exactly what she wanted to do, have fun
with whoever she wants, whatever she wants, wherever she wants.

Speaker 6 (05:05):
Good for her. I love it.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
You know someone who's not getting a great start to
this new year is will Smith, who's being sued by
a violinist. His name is Brian King Joseph. He actually
claims he was fired after reporting sexual harassment while touring
with Will Smith. He actually opened up on social media.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Earlier this year.

Speaker 7 (05:24):
I was hired to be a performer on a major,
major tour with somebody who is huge in the industry.
So I was excited, proud of myself forgetting the opportunity. Unfortunately,
some things happened, and I can't get into the details
of exactly what that was because it's already a legal
issue right now. But the reason why I'm speaking out

(05:45):
about this is because getting fired or getting blamed or
shamed or threatened or anything like that simply for reporting
sexual misconduct is not okay.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
And he says that's why he's doing He's coming forward
because that's not okay. He said there was a just
being a hotel room incident which went unaddressed. Now Will
Smith's representatives are denying all the allegations in the lawsuit
does seek damages for emotional distress and reputational harm.

Speaker 6 (06:11):
This is huge news.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
BTS fans can rejoice. BTS announced their first a full
group album in nearly four years.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Will drop March.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Twentieth, all seven members are officially back completing mandatory military service.
A world tour is planned, with details coming soon.

Speaker 6 (06:29):
So that's you. Oh my gosh. I feel like the
way people are freaking out about the BTS thing is
how I'm freaking out about the twentieth anniversary of Hannah Montana.
It's in March of this year, and Miley syres she's
calling it the anniversary, and she was asked by an
interviewer or what she has up her sleeve and.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
The Hannah Montana anniversary plans coming along.

Speaker 6 (06:46):
Absolutely, we're working on on them.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
What you're gonna do? Just piase us tell you, tell
me one little tea.

Speaker 6 (06:50):
You see the bangs, you see the banks. It's job.
It makes me so excited for like all my Stranger
Things fans too, because Nancy her first acting credits were
in the Hannah Montana movie. She's one of the girls
freaking out about him in Montana. So I'm like, I'm
just loving all of this right up. I love Miley
so much. I'm excited about that.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Ray j he always gives, you know, great little tidbits.
He decided that after getting asked the same question for
a long time. It made him realize something about himself.

Speaker 6 (07:19):
When I keep talking about the freak law Diddy, I'm like, Yo,
nobody ever got inviting to the free gos.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
You know what?

Speaker 6 (07:25):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (07:25):
And that's when I hit me, hit me, I'm ugly.
He almost word for words, told that from Dave Chappelle.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
Dave Chappelle said the same thing in his show No
in another another interview.

Speaker 6 (07:38):
Oh, I watched that Dave Chappelle thing on Netflix. I
watched him. There was a lot of times I found
myself cracking up and I was like, that is so
messed up.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Like he's a great storyteller, but he was.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
Did you notice he was like chainsmoking the entire time.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Have you ever seen him before?

Speaker 6 (07:52):
I've never seen one of those specials. I was like, Okay, dude,
put the cigarette down, take a break.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
He does it every special you see the special before.
This one was much better. It's still good. It was great.
He's fantastic. So it was the Ricky Gervais one. Do
you see that one?

Speaker 4 (08:04):
I did not see Ricky. I saw Dave Chappelle.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
I thought it was pretty good.

Speaker 5 (08:06):
Kylie like the Ricky Jervais one because he does a
whole bunch of behind the scenes Hollywood stuff. Talks about
what happened with the Golden Globes and he gets in there.
He tells the jokes and he couldn't tell at the
Golden Globes, and he tells run ins with celebrities.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
It's really good. It's top ten, I think on Netflix.
