Speaker 1 (00:00):
Thank you so much for holding what's going on?

Speaker 2 (00:02):
I have a question for you guys. I have been
divorced for some years now. I'm in a new relationship.
It's getting pretty serious. Can I use the diamond from
my first ring for my new rank?

Speaker 3 (00:15):
No?

Speaker 4 (00:17):
No, I don't know if that's easy.

Speaker 5 (00:20):
Guess how did the other relationship end?

Speaker 6 (00:22):
Like?

Speaker 5 (00:23):
Was the divorce bad or did you guys amicably part
your ways?

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Well, it look bad. It was bad, and I would say, well,
he cheated on me. So I feel like I could
do what I want with the ring.

Speaker 5 (00:36):
I definitely think you can, but I'd also feel like,
don't you sort of feel like it's like got his
tainted curs?

Speaker 7 (00:46):
Why not sell it? Sell the diamond and then use
the money that you got for the diamond.

Speaker 6 (00:51):
To That's what I would do. I feel like you
never want to bring in old things from your relationships,
and it's like a ring is like a big deal.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
You got remarried, Yes, did you use the same band
from your first marriage?

Speaker 7 (01:04):
I don't even know where that that ring is chucked
it off? Like for me? For me, I would I
like all different furniture, all different you know, like different kids,
different children, there's mark a different names. Didn't you have
three kids?

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Rich? I think I don't know.

Speaker 8 (01:26):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:28):
Like for me, it was all different furniture, all different,
like a different, different place, different everything. You gotta you gotta,
you gotta purge that stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
So then your answer to her is no, don't.

Speaker 7 (01:36):
Use the same I would sell it and get the
money and then go buy something.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
I think it depends on how beautiful it is in
some rare diamond like one from Titanic, and I'd be like, yeah,
you can put that in.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Your for me.

Speaker 7 (01:46):
If she dimorced to me, didn't try that hard. It's
probably not that creative a diamond, right Destiny.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
I actually do like the diamonds, but I youse, guys
are swaitinging me. I definitely, uh, I definitely want to
save my money for the new ring is the biggest
feel that makes sense.

Speaker 6 (02:01):
So you're like wanting to keep the diamond because like
you're trying to save money. Is that like the reason
being or is it just because you like the diamond.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
I want to save the money. I don't want to
make a big purchase. I don't like debt. I like
pay for everything in cash. So you know, if I
can reuse and you know, make it look nice, make
it look different with a new band and all that.
I'm okay with that.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
What about this? Are you gonna buy chance wear the
same wedding dress? Do people do that?

Speaker 1 (02:29):
No?

Speaker 8 (02:31):
Unfortunately no, unfortunately.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
Oh I figured, well, well.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
My old wedding dress, it's gone, it's shredded.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
Okay, why don't we do this, Let's just throw it
out there. Eight seven seven nine three seven one oh
four seven.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Call us.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
If you have reused the ring more than once in
a wedding or a dress or anything like this, then
we need to know if it worked out, because we
think that's bad luck. Eight seven seven nine three seven
one oh four seven. Thanks Jehany, thanks for listening. Good
luck your wedding where it happens.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
And Rich Dylan has a comment.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
We're talking about people reusing wedding dresses, reusing wedding rings.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
What do you got, Dylan?

Speaker 8 (03:11):
You know, I just think that's kind of the least
of the worries is reusing something. I mean, think about it.
An entire relationship already ended, and you're worried about kind
of a you know, a physical materialistic thing from the past.
I think you should focus more on the second time around,
because you're going to be a statistic at the end
of the day. So don't worry about the ring. Worry
about the relationship.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Okay, okay, but still, like I think, if you're superstitious
and you're in and you're going to move it to
the next level, you'd be like, wait, whose ring is that?

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Right?

Speaker 1 (03:40):
You know what I mean, I get what you're saying.

Speaker 8 (03:43):
If you're going to reset the ring, I guess you know,
I don't know if like a diamond carry some magical
curse or something. I think that it's not the stone
that curse the relationship. It was definitely something.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
And well that's true.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
No good for you that you can think like that,
I'm superstitious. I would be like, no, frickin way, no bad,
you're doing a new relationship. I mean, what if it is.
It's probably not, but what if it is, might as
well get rid of it.

Speaker 8 (04:04):
That's true, you know, just you just pawned the thing,
and you know, drop a couple of thousand on a
new one and move on and hopefully the second time
will be better go around.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
No, you're very smart as far as like you know
how people say the people plan for the wedding and
not the marriage.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Yes, that's that's thanks Dylan. Thanks man, thanks for listening.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Dude.

Speaker 8 (04:20):
What I bought my ring from Walmart for forty dollars
a day that I was supposed to get married. So
I'm just cheap and I don't plan.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Well, how long you've been married?

Speaker 8 (04:28):
Now, I've been married for nine years.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Okay, does she know you got the ring of Walmart?

Speaker 8 (04:32):
He does. He wasn't thrilled about that.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
All right, all right, thanks dog, I have a great day.
Thanks Amber, yep.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
I reused my wedding ring. Week were married for only
a couple of years, pretty young, and he got the
house and I got some other stuff. I went to
a jewelry place to sell a lot of my jewelry
and it was spodded and they said, you know, you
won't get the money out of it. And it's like, well,
I love the shape of the stut and what can
I do? And you want diamond ear rings in a necklace.

(05:04):
It's like heck, yeah, so absolutely free reset him and
I wear them for every holiday every family gets together.

Speaker 7 (05:12):
Okay, so you just didn't reuse the ring, you re
repurposed the ring.

Speaker 6 (05:18):
Yes, I would do that. I have a promise ring
that's just sitting around and I'm always like, what should
I do with this? And I'm like, maybe I will
get some pretty earrings. Everyone love a bad of.

Speaker 7 (05:26):
Diamond earrings, right, I would think, So, yeah, I.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
Know, it's just sitting in storage. Honestly, I'm no idea,
what's that? How should go find that?

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Right?

Speaker 2 (05:33):
And my current husband doesn't even know about it because
we were kind of already dating when I was doing this,
and we are from a small town, so he kind
of knew my ex. And he's like, you don't have
anything from him to you?

Speaker 8 (05:45):
And I said, no, no, no, I just.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Graduated college and my mom bought these pretty ear rings
for me and it's been ten years.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
So it's good to have secrets.

Speaker 6 (05:56):
Sometimes you can take things to the grave. It's all right.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Thanks, have a great day. Thank you for listening. You guys, Amanda,
you're on the air.

something blue is then every single wedding, so that could
always be or something old, something new, something like that.

Speaker 7 (06:21):

Speaker 1 (06:22):

ones that you walked down the ale with? Or do
you have to do with?

Speaker 4 (06:28):
And what was old my grandma's necklace?

Speaker 1 (06:31):
What was borrowed?

Speaker 5 (06:32):
My grandma's necklace was the thing that was how neat?

Speaker 1 (06:36):

So my ex wife got married in a second dress.
All her second wedding wasn't the same wedding dress that
she used the first time. I still have to have
contact with her when we sweat up up. So she
her new husband messaged me and it was just a
split bills and et cetera. So her husband messaged me

(07:09):
and told me that he didn't want me to contact
her at all, even though I was the one that
was trying to just make things right, you know, pay bills,
et cetera.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
And that's when I was like, well.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
I got to take off that dress the first.

Speaker 7 (07:20):
