Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ja Ja and Rich Hallie. Thanks for holding.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
I'm in this like situationship thing and we're not official,
but like we hang out, we text. It definitely feels
like something or it felt like something. And then my
best friend goes and hooked up with him, and I
(00:27):
confronted her about it, and she's like, oh, it doesn't count.
You guys weren't official, Like what, Like, I just because
I didn't post him on my story doesn't mean he's
community property. And I don't even know like who I'm
more mad at him or her? And I don't really
know what to do, Like I don't know if I
want to continue either relationship. I'm just like, honestly really upset.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
They would both be dead to me. I know they
would both be dead to me. I'd probably try to
fight my best friend because I feel like, if it's
just this, if it's a situationship, obviously there's probably some
emotions involved and whatnot, but I would be like, my
best friend owes way more to me than whoever this
man is. I would be so mad, like that's ultimate
breaking girl code. I'd probably try to.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Fight he know, how far along are you in liking
this guy? Was it all?
Speaker 4 (01:16):
Out one night and you like this guy and your
friend hooked up with them, Like, well, how before that happened?
Speaker 1 (01:21):
You know?
Speaker 2 (01:23):
I mean we've been like hanging out and texting for like.
Speaker 4 (01:26):
A couple of months.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
She ever hung out and was like, how I feel
about him?
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Where is that friend that the group?
Speaker 4 (01:34):
I had a friend like that that would always there's
whenever somebody had a girlfriend or was in the beginnings
that the guy would try to swoop in, Like dar
tell I went to go pick up the girl of
dating from school and there was a rose on her
windshield and it was from my friend, like her and
I had her already been together, like dating, and I
got so mad at it with the douce.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
I bit the rose and spit it out.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
Oh yeah, I like that.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Yeah anybody see that? Well I could do. I remember
exactly where her car was parked. I know exactly where
I happened to TV, we.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Has your best friend in your situationship? Did you guys
ever hang out together? Did you ever feel like maybe
you missed over some signs or anything.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Yeah, I mean they met through me.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
They're both kind of they're garbage people fucked.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
I mean, I didn't really like when I was hanging
out with them, I didn't realize. I mean, they got like,
we all got along, but I didn't think there was
anything going on, Like I didn't think she would do
that to me. To be honest, I.
Speaker 4 (02:40):
Think I'd even be mad if either one asked about
the possibility, like no, we're we're doing the thing, Like
why why would you even ask? But the fact that
they did it without telling you, they're both garbage.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Actually you know what this is? Like did you guys?
Speaker 4 (02:52):
And I hate to bring up the show because I
hated the show so much, but season one of White Lotus, Yes,
this is what happened with Sidney Sweeney's character.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
She her and her best friend.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
They went to Hawaii at the Saved the White Lotus
with her family and her best friend. There was a
guy that she liked at the hotel and she really
liked them and it was obvious and they were flirting,
and then the guy at the hotel and her best
friend hooked up and then there's a huge confrontation and
it's a whole thing with Sidney Sweeney's character just like, too.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Is it really?
Speaker 3 (03:20):
I was gonna say, because that's also kind of Sidney
Sweeney's character Cassie and Euphoria, and it was like, Cassie,
how long, Nate Jacobs, Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Sounds like Sidney Sweeney is getting typecast. I'm done by
an Abercrombie.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
Girl.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
I think we all agree, though, Halle, you need to
cut both of them out of your lives. That's terrible.
I'm sorry, get some better friends.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
Thanks, thanks for calling in, have a great day. Sorry
about that. Squabble squabble up, squabble up, squabble up, one
four seven Kiss FM, John Jay and Rich.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
The other day, Peyton was telling a story about how
she overheard her mom and dad talking smack about her
after she thought the phone call was over, but it
kept going.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Then we wanted to hear from you about what did
you overhear? Debra's got something juicy? Am I right? Debra?
Speaker 5 (04:12):
I do I do? Good morning?
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Good morning? What did you overhear? That's juicy?
Speaker 5 (04:18):
Oh my stars? Okay, So I ex this did not
happen to me. It happened to a friend of a
friend of mine. So she was out one night with
the girls. And this was before long before phones were
connected through your car, so it was just kind of
like you know, laying next to you as you would
talk kind of like on a speaker you know, like
(04:39):
you love John Jay was talking on a speakerphone, and
so she was talking to her fiance. He called, you know, hey,
how do you guys have a really great night? She's like, thanks,
I love you. I love you too. So she thought
he hung up, and she's in the car with her girlfriends,
and her girlfriends were saying, so, you know, how's it going.
(05:00):
I know you guys are engaged, But do you still
think he's gay? I mean, or do you think like
this might be a marriage of convenience for him? And
she was like, no, I don't. I don't think he's gay.
You know, things are okay with the love life, they're
not like really where i'd like him to be. And
then one of the other friends times in says, I
don't know, he has a lot of gay tendencies and
(05:22):
I don't know, and the other girlfriend was like, well,
I don't know, maybe he's just a little feminine, to
which he says, so you think I'm gay? And they
thought the phone had hung up, which it hadn't, and
she heard the entire conversation and the engagement ended.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
Shocking it.
Speaker 5 (05:46):
Yeah, yeah, she could not come back from that. I mean,
how do you come back from that?
Speaker 1 (05:51):
So did he ever get married?
Speaker 5 (05:53):
Really, sad, I have no idea what happened afterwards? Like
I said, I'm I'm like, you know, two degrees removed
from it. But I know the whole story, and I
knew all of the information because the person who told
me it used to be a coworker of mine.
Speaker 4 (06:06):
So you don't have You don't know if he did
end up coming out of the closet or not.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
I do not know. I can't. I'm sorry. I know
we like to wrap things up in any little bow,
John Jay, but yet no, I just I don't know
what happened, except I do know that the engagement was
broken off.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
You know'd be terrible if the friend that said that
just had horrible gaydar and was terribly long and ruined
the whole.
Speaker 5 (06:28):
Relationship, right, But the fiance said, because she said to
the fiance, and I'll just call her Sally. She said
to Sally, do you still think he's gay? So Sally,
at some point not yeah, I thought he was gay,
so how horrible. But it wasn't meant to be.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
I guess you know why did she think he was gay?
Speaker 4 (06:48):
Did he use kilometers a lot? I've overheard these two
guys at the gym talking and the guy goes, man,
I want seventy two kilometers or something like that.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Last week you think, I goes kilometers, what are you gay?
And he goes, why don't you use miles?
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Because I was eavesdropping old thing, and I thought, oh,
I wonder if I could ever tell that story, And
now I can.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
See. Thank you, Deborah, you brought you brought John Jay's
story out. Yeah, I mean I didn't know how I
could ever tell you. I don't know how I could ever
tell that story except for now. Well, there we go.
Speaker 5 (07:23):
I'm happy to help you guys. I love you guys.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Thanks Deborah, have a great day. Thanks for listening.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
Thanks you guys too.
Speaker 5 (07:29):
Okay, bye bye bye
