Speaker 1 (00:53):
What's funny is that I think at the end of
twenty twenty five we do a trivia contest, Say who's
the first caller of twenty twenty five? We give way
a bunch of money. That's a good idea. Remember that,
Remember Lisa, you're disqualified, Lisa, Lisa, Okay, I don't want

So I always listen to you guys about what you're
watching because my husband and I always.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Are looking for new stuff to watch.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
So on my Facebook seed, it came up with this
writer and.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Nine shows he did.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
So we watched one this weekend called Missing You and
it's an eight episode mini series. I finished it yesterday. Jeez,
did you Yes?

Speaker 4 (01:32):
So good?

Speaker 1 (01:32):
We did. We watched that and we watched Safe Safe
that's by the same So the guy's names like Harlan Corbett, Kyle.
You like your show. It's number two on Netflix right now,
and it's stars Yeah, it stars the girl from Slow Horses,
the black woman from Slow Horses. Oh wow, Yeah, she's great. Yeah,
it's it was it was a really good and then

(01:53):
it has it has. There's a part on this series
where it just goes so dark. What's it about. It's
about a cop and her father was murdered. She's trying
to solve find out why her father was murdered ten
years ago. At the same time, there's this dog breeder
that's kidnapping people of torturing the me killing them, and
she's trying to solve that murder. Right, that's pretty much, right, Lisa.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Yeah, well, it's so suspenseful because you think you know,
and then the way the episode ends, you're like, well,
I can't turn it off now, I gotta.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Watch the next one. And actually mean nightmares last night.
You're like, oh my gosh, it really yeah I did.
I had nightmares last night because of the dog rescuer,
the dog breeder who's also a murderer. The way they
killed people. I don't know, there's something about it. They
really scared me because they just had these people hanging.
It's really dark. It's really dice. There're two Netflix. It's

(02:42):
not gonna beat Squid Games because Squid Games is number one.
I finished Squid Games me too.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
I finished it in one night. I'm still in it.
I'm like right in the.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Yeah, I watched it. Safe came out a long time
ago because it starts the same guy that plays Dexter
and he hasn't in this accident and that was really weird. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
that was Save is really good.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Yeah, we watched that one too.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Go through all that person that that author has great
great series, I can't remember, but we've seen them all.
Because the main guy, one of the main guys that
is always in his shows. You'll reckon I Richard Armitage
is his name. I was into the show. All right, Lisa,
I have a great day. Thank you so much for listening.

(03:20):
Calling in you two guys. Hey. I also recommend since
we're talking about TV real quick, I recommended to Kyle
because my sister recommended to me Bad Sisters on Apple TV.
My wife's waiting to that. I got three or four
episodes in and I was kind, but my sister's like,
trust me, trust me, I freaking love it now.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
Oh really, there's such two episodes in and I was like,
why did he recommend the show?

Speaker 1 (03:42):
I bet you if you stick it out, you're gonna
love it.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
She's like eating vegetables. You gotta get through the first
three episodes so good.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
It is so good, you'll really, really really like it.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
The first two episodes, I was like, why am.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
I like, I know, is taking a lo I tell
you about that before, because I think I told you
before breaking. But before the break, I thought we were
still in the air that my sister's coming about the show,
or maybe it was a buddy of mine, my sister
talking about the show and she's like bad sisters, trust me,
and I'm texting her like two episodes and I'm like oh,
and then it bottles daughters in it too. She's good,
She's fantastic. And then also in episode three or four,

(04:16):
it's like, oh my god, I can't. I couldn't. I
couldn't stop. I'm in the middle of season two right now,
and like the Evil People, it's kind of this mental
domestic abuse that you cannot believe how this guy manipulates
his wife and how the sisters all planned to kill
this guy anyway. Uh and squid Game. When squid Game dropped,

(04:40):
my son Jake watched it right away and when I
got up, like you, Peyton, when I got the next morning,
I go, how the scood game goes? It? Eve sucked
and I'm like, damn it does. I'm three in, I'm
four in, and I'm just so pissed that the ending sucks.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Yeah, it really does.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
It gets good towards the end, but it doesn't give
you in and he sort of resolution at all.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Yeah, And it's like and it is a good show
up until the end, but then you're.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Like, say, for like another season, is that why they
ended it?

Speaker 3 (05:07):
The way he did a cliffhanger.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Yeah, that's this.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
One, which is the Bummer.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
It comes out this summer. The part too.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
But you might even just wait until the next one
comes out because you are going to be like, oh,
come on, yeah, you think there's another episode because it's
just right, it's the same way they end out the
other episode.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Totally. I totally thought there was gonna be another episode
I was waiting for, and then I was like, are
you serious right now?

Speaker 1 (05:26):
What to watch next?

Speaker 3 (05:28):
No?

Speaker 1 (05:28):
I want to watch another Quid Game. Finish it up,
you Wilso. Another show that dropped on Netflix and I
watched was The Guy That's trying to live to be
one thousand years old. I forget the name of the show.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Oh I saw that. I saw Kim Kardashi and posted
that and was like, this is a really interesting watch.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
He's doing everything he can to revers his aging, and
he's even using like his son's blood.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
Oh I saw the news story about that guy.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
I didn't realize there's this show now sing and I
do half of everything he does already. My son touched years.
He has an eighteen year old son who's he was
going to college and they take his plasma, and then
he puts it in his own body, and then he
takes his own plasma and puts it in his father's body.
So it's three generations. Because there's all this proof, they
can help you. So I said to Dutch, I watched

(06:08):
it on the plane where out of town, and when
we landed, I said, hey, do you think me cool
if I could if I found a place where I
could have your plasma, I'm down.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Bro.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Oh, that's that guy's actually doing that. Remember Silicon Valley
where they joked about that like.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
You're talking about. In the documentary, they showed that scene.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Where he, like the guy who like runs a pretend
Google has like an eighteen year old living with them.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
You just steal the people have been doing this for
a probably like the joke out of Nowhere.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Blood Boy. They explain, they explain where that scene came from,
what inspired that scene, because there was a guy from
a long time ago that was doing this stuff. And
now that now there's clinics you can go to where
they do it. What I know, it's like, I forget
what that show is called. But I shot a d
M to the producer and they sent me a message
back because I was like, that guy's like my Justin Bieber. Oh,

(06:56):
I don't know, he looks a little different. Would you
really would have been around for a thousand years?

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Oh I don't.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
I mean a Hundred's fine, it's fine. What about I
didn't see movies. I see carry On?

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Oh yeah, I watched carry On?

Speaker 1 (07:07):
I remember, because Yeah, we were talking about that. I
was so insulted by that movie. It's very You tell me,
you get on a plane and like the end of
the he gets on a plane, he just Jason, what's
his face, opens up a compartment, just walks downstairs to
the luggage. Yeah, no problem.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Like what about jumping on the plane from outside of
the plane on the runway and dismantling a bomb?

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Yeah, it's the only way.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
Sorry, but both of you like all the mission impossible,
same story.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
Yeah, that's Tom could do that. That's a reality to
every single movie you watch. It was very That's what
my kids said, the argument you have, Kyle.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
Every single movie you watch that is very Hollywood.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
Seemed real to me. I saw some tiktoks where someone goes,
here's how they could have solved carry On, And if
it was real life, the guy just takes your piece
ound smashes it. Yeah, but what about wicked? He's wicked
out now? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Yeah, where on what you can get it on?

Speaker 4 (08:06):
I think on Apple TV and Paramount Plus.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
No, you have to buy it.

Speaker 4 (08:11):
You have to buy it or rent it. And it's
like thirty bucks to buy. It's twenty bucks to rent.
So it's like you might as well buy it.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
I don't know and then just watch people over.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
We watched it at home because my we didn't go
back to the theater and my daughter wanted to see it,
so we watched it at home the other night and
it was fun.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
She like it, she loved it.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
My son, he's seven, and so.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
He actually wanted to watch it with us, and I
was surprised.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
He made it through about an hour and oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
He's like I'm doing watching the other Yeah. We went
to go see Mufasa in theaters and it was so good.
It was so it was phenomenal. Ten out of ten
across the sport lin Man, well does this song so
like you can really feel like it's it's so good,
Like what did you say about my brother? That's the
best song on this is it?

Speaker 1 (08:55):
James Oarl Joneses he Moasa.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
They do like no, it's like they do like a
trip to him.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
So it's essentially Lionking. It's young Mufasa.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
It's basically Kiara, which is Simba and Nala's daughter learning
about her grandpa from Rafiki.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Oh that's cool.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
It's really good. Yeah, Rafik telling the story. It's really good.
Is if you love the Lion King, you will love Mufasa.
It is so good.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Kyle, what's coming with the three things we need to know?

Speaker 4 (09:21):
I'm gonna tell you what you need to add to
your New Year's resolutions to help get rid of headaches,
possibly next which I'm Jane Rich.
