Speaker 1 (00:00):
I don't tell anybody.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
John Jay and Ridge gave me their personal cell phone number.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Where is my freaking phone?

Speaker 3 (00:07):
Eight seven seven nine three seven one oh four seven.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
It's John Jay and Bridge.

Speaker 4 (00:12):
Hi, Nikki, good morning. How are you so?

Speaker 5 (00:15):
You texted us? How can we help you?

Speaker 6 (00:17):
I did well?

Speaker 4 (00:20):
I so I'm behind. I listened to your podcast every
day and I'm I don't know, probably two three weeks behind.
But I knew that you and Blake had had this
argument and you were going to wait until you did
the Couple's Therapy to talk about it and all of that.
So I was excited, excited, excited, waiting to listen to
see how it got resolved, what happened, and you two

(00:41):
just started around.

Speaker 5 (00:42):
The whole thing in the Couple's podcast. We did, yes,
we did.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
We we kind of talked about it, but you didn't
really like I didn't say what it was about.

Speaker 7 (00:52):
You didn't.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
I was I was dying to find out what actually happened,
and you guys didn't really talk about it, and you said, well,
there's another there's another podcast that by, but at that point,
you guys, that will be old news.

Speaker 5 (01:05):
I don't think I've even told you guys, about the fight.

Speaker 8 (01:07):
I could tell you that it ended, and it did end,
but at one point she was parked with her hands,
her face in her hands, crying. I know I have
never experienced that before, and I was like, good one, No,
I didn't do that exactly.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Well, you said that if you told, if you presented it,
you felt like people would think that you were right.
Is what you said?

Speaker 5 (01:28):
Right? I would? I think.

Speaker 8 (01:30):
I think if I tell you the argument and don't
tell you who's who, I think everyone will think I'm right.
But when I tell you who's who, everyone most people
are probably gonna sid on blake because most people don't
enjoy me or my rightness.

Speaker 9 (01:43):
Well, can you do that?

Speaker 5 (01:44):
No, it's too.

Speaker 8 (01:45):
Difficult, I think. I mean, I could try, but I
just think it'd be too difficult if I was so.
My wife when she goes to the airport, she likes
to get the airport warily waarily like it even stresses
her out if she's.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
Not early enough. Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 8 (02:00):
I go to the airport most of the time as
the door's closing, especially if I have a seat on
the plane. If it's southwest, whole different ball game, right,
But if I have a seat on the plane. I'm
not stressed about it. And about a month ago, I
was going to the airport. Remember I was going to Atlanta, yep,
and I had it all And normally, if I'm going
to go to the airport and I'm going to not

(02:21):
leave my car here and not drive to the airport,
Rich picks me up in the morning. And I had
not conferred with Rich about picking me up, so I
just assumed I'm going to drive to the airport after
the show, and that's what I was.

Speaker 5 (02:31):
Going to do.

Speaker 8 (02:32):
My flight was bording at ten thirty. At ten ten,
my wife calls me and says, hey, I'm going to
take it to the airport, and I'm like my flight boards.
You know, we're right by the airport, and I'm like
my flight boards in ten minutes, like I want to
be on that flight.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
Just don't me to take the airport like okay.

Speaker 8 (02:53):
And I'm like, well, okay, so where are you thinking
you're She's like, oh, I'm just leaving the Biltmore area
and I'm like whoa.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Oh that you even get to the gate.

Speaker 8 (03:02):
And not only that, but my car's downstairs right in
front of the building, which means i'd have to park
my car underneath the awning, and I got to let
the security guard know that my car is gonna be
there for a couple days. Right, So there's a lot
going on in my head. And I'm like, I'm just
gonna go. I'm just gonna go to the airport.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
I go.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
Plus then you got to pick me up. She says no,
but I'll pick you up.

Speaker 8 (03:17):
I go, and you're gonna be on time when you
pick me up, Like when I come out, you're gonna
be there. I just go to my car and she's like,
I'm gonna pick up. So I go downstairs, I grab
my car, park it under the awning. I find the
security guard. I'll let him know what's going on, and
I she picks me up and I get to my
flight on time. Believe it or not, it's crazy. I'm
not the first one. I mean, I make it because
my seat saved my I mean, I get on the plane,
plane doors of clothing, whatever.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
I made it.

Speaker 8 (03:38):
Yeah, So here's where the fight happens. I land and
she's not here. And I even had a conversation. We
talked for twenty five minutes. When I was at the
Atlanta Airport, I was there so early at the Atlanta airport.
Twenty five minutes. We're just shooting the poop out of
everything about how my event went. Everything went, And I'm like,
all right, so you got my flight info? I land
and say at noon and she's like, yeah, okay, at

(04:00):
a noon.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
I said, okay.

Speaker 8 (04:00):
By the way, iPhone has a thing where you plug
in the flight number and it'll tell you if the
plane's earlier, the plane's late. And she goes, I got it.
She goes, okay, I'll be there. So I get off
the plane. I look on my app three sixty and
she's still home. I walk outside and she's not there,
and I thought, and so I call her and she's
like hello, hey, and I go, why aren't you here?

Speaker 7 (04:22):
Right? Yeah?

Speaker 8 (04:23):
And that's where she's like she loses her mind for
the way I spoke to her.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
Right.

Speaker 8 (04:29):
But I'm also extremely irritated that all this is because
you want to take me to the airport, Like this is
like I'm moving to be home. I could be now.
I wait twelve minutes for her. Twelve minutes. She picks
me up and she said, and she says, it's cold,
and she picks me up, and I go, Why weren't
you here to pick me up?

Speaker 5 (04:45):
On that show?

Speaker 8 (04:45):
You had to wait twelve minutes. Yeah, I had had
to wait twelve minutes. But that's not the point. The
point is because you want to take me there, this
whole thing. By the time we get to the radio station,
which is right here to get my car, she's crying.
I get out of the car, I get out of
the car, I get in my car, and I look
at her. She pulls off to the side of one
of the parking lots and we'll buy those vans over there.

Speaker 5 (05:03):
Yeah, and she's sitting there with her hands, her face
and her hands crying.

Speaker 6 (05:06):
That's the worst feeling.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
I felt terrible. I felt terrible.

Speaker 6 (05:13):
I waited twelve minutes.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Like that's not the point.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
That's not the point.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
From right being responsible to each other and like you,
you kind of like you kind of made a little
bit of a sacrifice to be late because she wanted
to pick you up.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
I'm excited to see you. Why can't you be excited
to see me?

Speaker 8 (05:30):
I'm very I go, you know what if I would
have gone to my car, if I would have got
to my car, driven home and you're in the kitchen
with a big smile on your face when I come home,
that's awesome. But you're coming to pick me up like
she wants me to be happy that she's coming.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
To pick me up, and I'm more a little irritated.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
Yeah, yeah, no, I can't get that.

Speaker 8 (05:47):
If you took me to the airport, rich and the
whole plan was for her to pick me up, and
I said to her, this might be a virgo thing,
this might be a first born thing, I said, But
I was already and so that was what our whole
argument was. And by the time we got home, by
the time I met her and we talked in the
kitchen and everything's fine.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
And then a couple of times had to go see
if I would have come home right.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Now, that's helpful, So that makes it worse.

Speaker 8 (06:09):
But see now, if I would tell this story with
person A in person B, I think EVER would be
siding on my side. Oh yeah, yeah, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (06:19):
What did you say? What'd you say?

Speaker 10 (06:21):
You only had to wait twelve minutes, though, right, But
I wouldn't have to wait at all.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
Oh, just drove my car, I plan.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
I think you're missing the point of the twelve minutes
people are leaning on twelve minutes. You're like sort of like,
if we do this, is this going to be okay?
Because you don't want I mean, you probably planned the
whole thing to hit it and be out of the airport.

Speaker 5 (06:38):
I had to wait twelve minutes.

Speaker 8 (06:39):
But had I had my car there, I probably I mean,
I'm saying I got outside of way twelve minutes.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (06:44):
When I would have got out of the plane, I
would have walked totally different directions. I would have got
right to my car, no worse part home.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
So anyway, that was what the fight was about.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
Well, and you did say in the podcast that you
apologize I did.

Speaker 5 (06:58):
I did for some reason. I'm all always wrong.

Speaker 6 (07:02):
Yes, you are always wrong.

Speaker 8 (07:04):
If all would have taken southwest, I would have been screwed, bitch,
no kidding.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (07:10):
And then on my way back, I got to deal
with the freaking lady this got the huge German shepherd
dog that's taken up my should.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
Yeah. So I was like irritated already. I was so irritated, and.

Speaker 8 (07:21):
I took an edible the night before because payton sy
would help me sleep, and I had the worst time
of sleep my mind, I even and then we keep on.

Speaker 5 (07:27):
We spoke for twenty five minutes.

Speaker 8 (07:28):
Forgot on the plane and I told her, I go,
I was like, man, I didn't sleep very well.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
It's terrible.

Speaker 8 (07:32):
She's like, I'm prepared to handle your grumpiness, is what
she said. Also so that when I landed, I'm grumpy.
She was not prepared.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
She wasn't just that she wasn't there.

Speaker 6 (07:42):
There was a lot of other factors.

Speaker 8 (07:44):
Well, the rest the arguments going on, and things are unfolded.
I started waiting a minute, and Igo, we spoke. No, see,
I knew no matter what that's like.

Speaker 6 (07:51):
Yeah, I feel like that is a virgo thing, like
I feel like I mean, and just in you telling
this story, John Jy, there's so many people that this
is their fault that you were upset. Feel in this
type of play, it's like, okay, Blake's late, I was
the reason that you didn't get any sleep. Like it's
okay to wait twelve minutes for your wife that wants
to see you.

Speaker 8 (08:08):
It's okay, right, But also I know you're gonna go
around circles. I mean, I was trying to avoid that
twelve minutes.

Speaker 6 (08:14):
I get it, I guess I get it.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
But that's definitely be a hard efficient efficient. I totally
feel that.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
Oh thank you. I would think that's.

Speaker 11 (08:21):
Also you being tired, because you may have been able
and irritated from the flight. You may have been able
to tolerate the twelve minutes a little better if you
didn't have a terrible night sleep and you weren't already
irritated from the lady with the dog on a plane.

Speaker 8 (08:33):
No, no, but I had already before when she said
I'm coming to pick you up, I was like, wait
a minute, dude.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Point of view.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
So when you had a plan, I had a plan.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Once somebody inserts themselves in your plan and you and
you give a little bit for them. Now they've screwed
up the plan.

Speaker 8 (08:46):
Like if you would have said to me the day before,
do you want me to take take an airport and
pick you up? I would have been like, well, let
me let me call rich which you can come pick
me up that way. It's easy and there's not a
car here. Yeah, simple, like it's happened for one hundred
times before.

Speaker 7 (08:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
It's like when you have a mission and God, there's
something about people. John Jay's not late. People who are late,
they don't like you to be late either.

Speaker 5 (09:04):
Right anyway, So that's what happens. So thank you for texting.

Speaker 7 (09:08):
I get it.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
See what you've done, NICKI, well, thank.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
You, yeah, I know.

Speaker 8 (09:13):
I know.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
Curious though, what was her reason why she was late
to begin Why wasn't she at the airport? She didn't
realize what time it was.

Speaker 8 (09:20):
Because it's just my wife doing things, just nothing. She's
doing things, hanging out, talking to our kids, like whatever.

Speaker 12 (09:32):
Well, thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (09:33):
I was dying to know what the story is.

Speaker 8 (09:34):
Now I know when I pick her up at the airport,
I'm in the cell phone lot waiting for her, and
I'll be like, text me when you land, and I'm
going to drive around and drive around, drive around until
you are ready to go or I went anyway, it's
virgo things.

Speaker 5 (09:46):
Have a great day, Nikki.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Thanks for calling in, dummy. If you get free roses,
it's a trap.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
The War of the Roses starts right now on John
Jay and Ridge.

Speaker 8 (09:57):
Oh, John Jay and Ridge. Time for War of the Roses.
So how they think somebody could be cheating on her
and we're gonna hear her story. We're gonna find out
if they are by offering them a dozen red roses,
and hopefully this person says to Halle, Halle, good morning, Hi,
what's your story?

Speaker 5 (10:12):
Who's cheating on you?

Speaker 13 (10:16):
I just think there's something going on with my boyfriend Joshua.
He so he has this job that's stressful, and like
he's been saying, he's been going out late for meetings,
like there'll either be at the office or like it'll
be like a dinner meeting, and he's just barely checking

(10:40):
in with me on those meetings. And like, I mean,
at first, I was really understanding, but I try to
brush it off, you know, like not let it get
to me during the day. But I just feel like
intuitively something is up with him. And I think what
really makes me suspicious is the fact that he has

(11:04):
a newly divorced boss and he works very closely with her,
and he's like always talking about her, and it's like,
I get it, you're excited, and it's oftome that like
she's a woman and you know she's like leading the way,
but it's just like he's way too familiar with her,
and it's just so it just sounds like they're having

(11:28):
some kind of an affair.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
Honestly, they say, you always hear about the one the
other one. They'll always drop the names somewhere, even if
it's in a friend context. Really, yeah, I've heard that. Yeah,
because guys like got to they don't want to confess,
but they can't keep their mouth shut. So most people
say that you'll always hear about who he's cheating with

(11:50):
because you'll hear their names. It's not always going to
be somebody.

Speaker 13 (11:53):
I rather did that with his wife, honestly, like not
well the woman he's cheated on. His wife was like
to me, he kept talking about her, so I was like, okay,
this is clearly and then eventually it came.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Out what is terrible for you?

Speaker 6 (12:05):
So it's totally aligning with what you've got going on then.

Speaker 8 (12:08):
But I would also assume if you're working and you're
gonna talk about your boss, you know what I mean,
you got to talk about it.

Speaker 13 (12:15):
So that's why I'm like, I can't confirm it right because.

Speaker 5 (12:19):
I can tell you I am not having an affair
with Mark.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 11 (12:24):
You don't really staying out late with him, and then
like you know, ignoring your wife while you're hanging out with.

Speaker 8 (12:28):
All that part, so they ignoring when you said so
he's at a dinner and he doesn't text you during
the dinner, right.

Speaker 13 (12:35):
Yeah, And he's like, well, I don't want to be rude.
I don't want to seem like I'm you know, my
phone's pulling focus. Okay, he's always got something to say,
you know.

Speaker 8 (12:43):
Okay, that is that is good business. Like when you're
at when I my new thing are not new, I
mean you're trying to do for a while. When I
go to dinner or a meal with someone, I try
to put my phone away, not on the table, because
I heard that's rude.

Speaker 5 (12:53):
So I'll try to put it in my pocket.

Speaker 8 (12:54):
But then I think I'm gonna get cancer, so I
try to put it somewhere far away from me, underneath
the chair. But I will get up to go to
the bathroom, and when I go to the bathroom, I
grab my phone and then I will text my wife
and then she'll say I'll be like, hey, I'm just
thinking about you.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
I'm at dinner, and she's like, I know I'm at
dinner with you.

Speaker 8 (13:14):
No, no, but you know what I'm saying. Like, so there's
ways around it, you know, Because I'm sure he had
to get him key.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
At some point well, he definitely has his reasons for
saying that, but you're also right to be suspicious because
if it comes up too much, which it sounds like
it is, you're like, wait, wait, talk to me about us,
don't talk about somebody else.

Speaker 6 (13:31):
And she has that gut filling right.

Speaker 13 (13:34):
I don't need to hear this woman's mouth when we're
at Target on Sunday. I mean, I don't need to
hear this woman's name in his mouth.

Speaker 14 (13:42):
His mouth like that, all right, Joshua, see who he
sends the flowers to.

Speaker 8 (13:51):
Does he send him to his wife, Hallie or his boss.
We'll take a break, we'll come back, and we'll see
who Joshua sends his flowers to. War the Roses continues
next for John, Jay and Rich. We're in the middle
War of the Roses. You got Holle. She thinks her
boyfriend Joshua is cheating on her with his boss, who
is newly divorced. And you know what they say about
divorce women.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
What do they say? They're hot to trot, hot to trot,
they say in the nineteen twenties, that's right.

Speaker 11 (14:21):
I inspired by the Kentucky Derby.

Speaker 8 (14:25):
So he's talking a lot about his boss and how
you just think something's up, especially when when he's at
a company dinner or something and she's probably there and
he's not texting you or updating you on anything.

Speaker 5 (14:34):
Right, So you're you, you got all the reason to
be worried.

Speaker 13 (14:37):
Something definitely smells like trouble.

Speaker 5 (14:41):
Okay, KYLEI are you ready? I'm ready? Okay, let's call.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
Hello, good morning. Is Joshua available?

Speaker 8 (15:00):
Oh?

Speaker 11 (15:00):
Perfect, it's kind of your lucky day.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
So hi Josh.

Speaker 11 (15:03):
But my name is Ada and with a new company,
we're called JNR Flowers, and you've been chosen to be
a part of our social media campaign. I know you're thinking,
like what is going on here, but it's really cool
for you. You get to send our most romantic bouquet
for It's like a dozen red roses. You can send
them to anyone you want. It's totally free and all
the kind of asking return is that you post about
us on whichever social media platform you use the most,

(15:25):
so you're getting the word out about us, and then
you get to send our most romantic bouquet for free.

Speaker 7 (15:31):
Okay. So you're like, you're like a local business.

Speaker 11 (15:34):
Yeah, yeah, but we can send them pretty much anywhere like,
you know, we have contacts and ways to get it
wherever you need to go if it were out of
state or anything like that. But don't need any credit
card or any other personal information from you to get
this going. I am going to put a little car
where you just like attach it to the bouquet, and
that's where I tell people. You know, this is your
chance to personalize it. It is our pure passion bouquet.

(15:55):
But you know, depending on the nature of your relationship,
you may want to say something fun or flirty. Some
people get like dirty and stuff, but like you can
really just don't be shy, say whatever you'd like. Give
me the message on the card, and then we can
go like name, address, date and time that they'll actually
be delivered.

Speaker 7 (16:12):
Okay, thank you. Could like I appreciate you more than
you know.

Speaker 11 (16:21):
That's sweet, I appreciate you more than you know. You
want like a love Joshua at the end, or what
kind of salutation.

Speaker 7 (16:36):
That's okay? I think the roses might might be the
might let them know that's the vibe, you know.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Okay, So you don't want to sign your name.

Speaker 7 (16:47):
Maybe not love, you can just put my name.

Speaker 6 (16:49):
Okay, got it?

Speaker 11 (16:50):
And then who did you want me to address this to.

Speaker 7 (16:54):
Corean?

Speaker 13 (17:00):
Are you serious, Joshua, are.

Speaker 12 (17:04):
You thinking serious?

Speaker 7 (17:07):
Allis wait, Hallie's listen, it's not what you think. Corean
is not just my boss. She's been helping me with
like the side project I've been working on. That's that's all.

Speaker 12 (17:23):
She's not just your boss.

Speaker 13 (17:25):
What the I don't understand Why would you send her
romantic flowers because she, like you know, helps you figure
out how to do back end work on a website
and make a spreadsheet.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
This is not what.

Speaker 5 (17:46):
It's not.

Speaker 7 (17:46):
It's not like that we've been spending time outside of work,
but like it's it's only because she's been mentoring me.
I'm like business stuff and like I've had all all
these ideas, so I've been like running by the buyer
and just she's I'm really.

Speaker 8 (18:00):
Encouraging, josh On. And tell you what, Josha, you're on
the radio. You're on the John Jay and Richard radio show.
Hollie thought you were cheating on her with your boss,
so she came to us to find out. Now, if
I go around the room, I mean, Kyle, you were
pretty just there romantic roses.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
You were pretty said.

Speaker 11 (18:19):
Romantic?

Speaker 8 (18:20):
Yeah, so you sent romantic passion roses to your boss.
You can understand how Hollie's feeling right now.

Speaker 13 (18:28):
Why didn't you send them to me? When's the last
time you sent me flowers? Do you have any idea
how this feels?

Speaker 2 (18:36):
Like?

Speaker 13 (18:36):
What if I was gone every night, going to meetings,
not responding to my phone, not checking in with you,
and talking about some boss that had named Brian all
the time when we were buying sheets at Target, and
then you get a call about sending flowers and you
don't pick me.

Speaker 12 (18:51):
How would you feel if the shoe was on the
other foot.

Speaker 7 (18:56):
I didn't I didn't know it was a loyalty test.
I just got panicked when the person.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
That didn't sound panic has been helping me.

Speaker 6 (19:04):
No, you didn't sound panicked at all. And also like,
not only did you send the flowers to her? When
Kyle asked you if you wanted to put love, you said,
I think that the flowers itself will send the message
that's shady. That is shady, and she has every right
to let you up right out on that.

Speaker 7 (19:21):
I mean, I don't want to make a big Why.

Speaker 11 (19:24):
Would you send your boss roses?

Speaker 2 (19:25):
And weird hr violation and you know, if you are
working on a side project, that would be something you
would be like, hey, we're working on a side project.
Your girlfriend would know about it because you would have
nothing to hide.

Speaker 8 (19:37):
You know what else too, I think you'd be like, hey,
this is great. I love the flowers, but I like
to get something less than roses because I'm working on
a side project. I want to send them to my boss.
Do you have chrysanthemums or something different?

Speaker 5 (19:50):
You're him? You hear his motivation, the boss.

Speaker 6 (19:54):
He got caught, right, he is, he got caught right,
he got caught. Yeah, you're busted, dude. I'm so sorry, Ali.
I'm glad that you're not married to him and that
he's your boyfriend so you can leave him.

Speaker 5 (20:03):
Yeah, he got car.

Speaker 13 (20:06):
This is I'm he made it a secret. It's it's
you're not supposed to keep.

Speaker 12 (20:11):
Secrets from people.

Speaker 7 (20:12):
You like, I never left.

Speaker 5 (20:13):
It's like a birthday.

Speaker 13 (20:14):
Celebration, or maybe like a huge flower display. You're sending them,
then that would be a secret.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
He's got a lot of secrets. He's got a lot
of stuff he's not telling you.

Speaker 5 (20:24):
He got called.

Speaker 13 (20:28):
I mean, it's so difficult because I don't know I'm here, Like,
what do I do with all his shoes in my house?

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Sell it, burn it, burn it all. Well, I'm sorry
to trouble.

Speaker 13 (20:40):
My mom told me that something was wrong with him.
I mean, he just he has communication problems to begin with.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
He was right.

Speaker 6 (20:46):
I'm sorry, girl, that's tough.

Speaker 13 (20:49):
It's fine as.

Speaker 6 (20:51):
More hair for you.

Speaker 11 (20:53):
You are much better off without him. It hurts right now,
but after you heal, you will be so glad to
say goodbye.

Speaker 13 (20:59):
I want him to say he's here, you know, like,
why can't he just come out and say it? I
would respect him more.

Speaker 8 (21:06):
Do you want to say that, Joshua?

Speaker 7 (21:08):
No, Well I.

Speaker 8 (21:11):
Think you know you know so, Halle, Sorry it turned
out this way, Joshua. We're gonna let you go. And
by that, I mean we're speaking for your boss to
there's your last day budget cuts?

Speaker 5 (21:26):
Oh yeah, you got that.

Speaker 7 (21:31):
I did not expect this three my morning.

Speaker 13 (21:36):
I want to get off the phone.

Speaker 15 (21:37):
I'm really upset.

Speaker 8 (21:38):
Okay, Hallie, thank you. That's where the roses with John
Jayne Rich and Rich Rich. Your wife is mad at you.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
Yeah, she's not happy because well, so we have this
thing where she kind of Stacy kind of leaves stuff
out that she means to throw away, like sometimes she
just stick it on the counter and it can be food,
it can be it could be everything, but at some
point she doesn't really throw it away. So I go
and clean things up, and she does this other thing. Well,
she get on a food like she'll be on like

(22:08):
yogurt or something, or some type of food that she'll
buy many copies of it, leave it at the fridge
and it's spoiled. She never throws anything away. So I
throw things away all the time, my stuff, old things.
I'm going through the cabinets, so I see this, like
this shredded chicken that looks like it's now starting to
turn colors. So I toss it in the trash and

(22:31):
Stacey comes home from work and she's so mad at
me for throwing away this chicken. I said it expired.
She's like, well, no, it didn't. It was supposed to
expire today. And I was gonna make a delicious casserole
for my son who's not eating enough, and I figured
i'd make him a chicken cash. Well, now you've just
thrown it away, and you've ruined my opportunity to be
a great mom. It's what you've done. I'm trying to

(22:53):
be a great mom, and you have tossed it out.
So she's like, I'm gonna buy more chicken. Do you
think you could not throw it away for a day
or so so that I can be a hero mom?
And I don't, like, do you realize that chicken was
starting to turn colors? Like that's no good. You can't
feed your son that chicken. It's gonna go bad.

Speaker 6 (23:16):
You would not be here.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Oh, you're gonna give him botulism. And if you're saying
he needs to gain weight through carbs and noodles and chicken,
this is not the way to do it. But she
was really truly mad, and then like so now she'll
come in with the package of something and she'll say,
I will unpact this. Can you not throw that away
for a half a day? Just give me a chance?
So I don't. I'm kind of at a loss here

(23:39):
because I feel like spilled food smells pretty bad, and
we do have a glorious record of things going bad
in the fridge and smelling terrible, and then I have
to throw it away and then you have to do
the whole baking soda things. So I'm kind of at
a loss. I don't want to be yelled at, but well,
you should.

Speaker 6 (23:54):
Just stop doing what you usually do, and then she'll
be like, oh my gosh, these things that rich does
is actually so hoigh.

Speaker 11 (24:01):
The advice to give to everyone on the show just
communicatey Stacy, I'm making this chicken is bad. I'm thinking
of throwing it out. No, Richard, I'm using that for
a cast role.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
But if she's not home, problem solved doesn't work for me.

Speaker 11 (24:16):
Called the text message you can get a hold of
stop throw.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
Because most of the stuff I chuck she doesn't even notice.
Sorry chuck. Most of the stuff I throw away I
do when she's not there because she's gonna defend it.
And she's done it before. She's brought home, like these
little finger sandwiches from her lunch and she's like, don't
throw these away. I'm gonna eat them, but she doesn't,
and then they're there for seven days. So if I
toss it when she's not.

Speaker 5 (24:40):
There, toss it, leave it until she throws it away.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
But then we got fruit flies, then we got.

Speaker 6 (24:44):
Well she's live like that. I promise it will take
two days of it getting messy in there for her
to change how she wants to move.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
No, I've seen it. I saw her refrigerator before we
got married. When I would go to her house, she
would say, you can come in, but don't in my
refrigerator because she would wait till trash day to throw
things out because she didn't want to trash the smell.
But then the fridge smells.

Speaker 8 (25:07):
I was talking to someone yesterday, I don't want to
say who, but I was talking about the expiration dates
on the items, and I was telling how Kyle made
that cottage cheese thing but the protein powder was five
years old. Bees protein. Protein powder after a long time
can go bad. And I go, I think it was
five years old.

Speaker 5 (25:20):
He goes.

Speaker 8 (25:21):
But most of the expiration dates on food items are
a little bit of a scam. They do they will
go bad, but that doesn't mean they're going bad that day.
It's to get you to buy more product.

Speaker 7 (25:31):
Yeah. Right.

Speaker 5 (25:31):
So it's like just like like I have a lot
of my wife.

Speaker 8 (25:35):
If if there's an expiration date on it, she tries
to throw away and I'm like, no, I will eat it,
leave it, leave it for a long time until it
takes It's not bad, right, Yeah. But the other day
you threw away those blueberries, those normal blueberries.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
Now you guys are having the argument I have at
my house.

Speaker 8 (25:55):
I'm like, I was on the treadmill, look at the
blueberries in the and I was like, solid eighty with
these blueberries.

Speaker 5 (26:01):
I go call it.

Speaker 8 (26:01):
These blueberries been here for a while. We do you
need to eat them? And then she's like, oh, they've
been a long time. I think they're expired. And I
was like, there's no mold. There's no mold. And I
was on the treadmill and she's going away. I'm like no,
but I couldn't get up there.

Speaker 11 (26:12):
They were like little fuzzy bananas.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
The bananas turned brown and there's a little food. We
save those though, for a banana breas. My wife says,
but she's never made banana ba.

Speaker 11 (26:24):
Really funny a freezer that goes just to remind her
you're not making bananas.

Speaker 9 (26:32):
Enjoy them.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
I didn't even know she made cast roles. It's not
like that happens in our house. How was I supposed
to know? So I think I'm going to continue to
yell at because I can't stop throwing.

Speaker 8 (26:41):
I like that feeding your son's chicken makes you a
good mom, throw the chick into the cage.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
I guess it is.

Speaker 8 (26:53):
It's John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
We want you to be part of the show.

Speaker 3 (26:57):
Call us eight seven, seven, nine, three seven, one four
to seven Get on the air with John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 8 (27:04):

whenever Kyle's daughter comes in the studio.

Speaker 5 (27:08):

the game we're gonna play today?

Speaker 16 (27:13):

Speaker 2 (27:16):

Speaker 7 (27:17):
My god?

Speaker 5 (27:17):
Are you smarter than the fourth grader? Addie?

Speaker 16 (27:19):
I am a fourth grader.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
You're smart, So it's gonna be good.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
I can tell you this right now.

Speaker 9 (27:25):
I am not.

Speaker 5 (27:27):
Okay, So let's play the game with how we play?

Speaker 8 (27:30):
All right?

Speaker 16 (27:30):
Smarty pants grown ups feeling confident. These questions are gonna
make you think. Let's get in the round one. Let's
do it, okay, John Jay, your first brain bender is
in science? What is the term for an animal that
eats both plants and animals?

Speaker 5 (27:46):

Speaker 8 (27:52):
Yes, O, man, I am not smarter than the fourth grader.

Speaker 16 (28:00):

I see what you did there.

Speaker 16 (28:38):
Okay, Peyton. What was the main reason the pilgrims came
to America?

Speaker 6 (28:43):
Oh, geez for their land?

Speaker 2 (28:47):
No, okay, religious persecution? Close?

Speaker 7 (28:54):
What is that?

Speaker 16 (28:55):
I guess I could give it to. It was religious freedom.

Speaker 5 (29:00):
They were escaping religious persecution.

Speaker 6 (29:02):
That's what like, not the point, that's not the.

Speaker 16 (29:13):
Okay, grant What is as simile? Give me a short example.

Speaker 9 (29:17):
Uh, simile is oh man, it's the word of smiles.
It's not a metaphor. It's comparing something to another thing.
So it would be like, right, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (29:34):
He said it. It's using like her ads. So I
could say this telephone is like a shoehorn, you know,
it's like you consider.

Speaker 16 (29:42):
Yeah, I don't know who to give it to.

Speaker 6 (29:46):
I feel like you gave the definition than you.

Speaker 5 (29:53):
I can hear this. I didn't know the answer.

Speaker 16 (29:56):
Okay, Okay, Ready for to these questions are going to
make your brains work even harder. Okay, John Jay, back
to the world of science. What are the three main
categories of elements on the periodic table.

Speaker 8 (30:15):
Well, I happen to drink an element tea which is
an electrolyte every day.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
Is that what you mean?

Speaker 5 (30:20):
Element?

Speaker 16 (30:22):
The three main categories of elements on the periodic.

Speaker 9 (30:26):
Table land, we got solids, we got gases, and we
got liquids.

Speaker 5 (30:38):
Now that's a similar.

Speaker 6 (30:41):
You have like you have gas water and.

Speaker 5 (30:51):
This is crazy.

Speaker 16 (30:52):
It's metals, non metals and metal OIDs.

Speaker 9 (31:00):
Lloyds.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
You know what's amazing is Addie gets frustrated the same
way that Kyle does with you.

Speaker 6 (31:07):
Okay for hard fourth grade questions under the junior year.

Speaker 16 (31:17):
Okay, Rich Your final challenge is in social studies. What
was the name of the ship that the Pilgrims sailed
off on from England to America?

Speaker 2 (31:27):
They sailed the Pilgrims sailed on the Mayflower Moving Company?

Speaker 16 (31:38):
Okay, moving on the Payton Which continent is the now

The last question to prove your smartness. What is the
plural form of the word cactus?

Speaker 9 (32:22):
Uh man, caci? And it's cat? What I didn't I
just answer it.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
It's two answers, cactuses? Yeah, cat?

Speaker 5 (32:40):
How do you say? Is it mice?

Speaker 9 (32:42):
Well, according to the A P Style Guide, which all
of us journalists have to you know, rule go by,
it is actually two things.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
I just made that up. I don't know that.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
It was weird.

Speaker 10 (32:53):
Learned a lot today, got in your head, like a
good job, Addie, graduation?

Speaker 2 (33:05):
Rich, you're the best house.

Speaker 5 (33:14):
Its Addison?

Speaker 2 (33:16):
Who was the loser of the game.

Speaker 5 (33:20):
Well, I didn't get any right.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
One.

Speaker 5 (33:30):
Come up with another game and play with this later.

Speaker 6 (33:32):
Okay.

Speaker 8 (33:33):
We love having you in here. Next time, if your
mom's ever sick or something, maybe you can come in.

Speaker 5 (33:37):
Can you drive? No, maybe you take away mot here
and you can fill in for her.

Speaker 7 (33:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 16 (33:43):
No, I do not take way.

Speaker 6 (33:45):
Most do not trust robots, No, not at all.

Speaker 5 (33:48):
Could your dad drop you off?

Speaker 8 (33:50):
Okay, good, we'll play that. Okay, Bill, your Mom's never sick.

Speaker 5 (33:53):
I don't think.

Speaker 8 (33:54):
I don't think you've ever missed a day, have you
from being sick? I mean over ten years ago. I
don't remember.

Speaker 6 (34:01):
No, there was one time Kyle wasn't here and I've been.

Speaker 8 (34:04):
There was a period when she wasn't here because I
remember it reminds me of justin Biebers song.

Speaker 6 (34:07):
What oh yeah, No, that was when she lost her voice.
She was here. There was a fun time that she
was down that.

Speaker 11 (34:15):
Yeah, I wasn't here when I was actually sick.

Speaker 6 (34:18):
I think that's when you actually tested positive for COVID
and you literally just didn't come in because you didn't
want to get everyone sick.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
No, I know, I did not remember my mom.

Speaker 11 (34:28):
Remember we got yeovid like a stomach flu yilvid.

Speaker 6 (34:36):
This is literally a child copy and paste.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
All right, John j.

Speaker 5 (34:42):
Rich, that's our game, all right, get back alright.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
It's the John Jay and Rich Radio program. Two names,
four hosts, and a whole lot of fun.

Speaker 8 (34:54):
It's John Jane Rich, John Jane Rich, shoot us a
text text jj R. Whatever's on your mind tonight six eight,
nine to three. Here's a text I follow in Crank
Rich Bara on Spotify and his chops are underrated. Keep
slaying King.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
Oh that's nice, thank you.

Speaker 8 (35:13):
I just want to say that Peyton should stop calling
rich Richie. He's too cool for that. What and I
call that was?

Speaker 5 (35:19):
I called?

Speaker 8 (35:19):
I called that number back with Jessica.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
She was on hold and she hung around Jessica girl.

Speaker 6 (35:23):
Rich Do you not like your nickname Richie? Does it
bother you?

Speaker 8 (35:26):
No?

Speaker 2 (35:26):
It doesn't bother me.

Speaker 6 (35:27):
Okay, because not a lot of people in my life
get nicknames for me, So you are special. I think
I will continue to call you Richie if you're okay
with it. I can't help myself.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
I mean, you're you're probably the only one that calls
me that's well.

Speaker 6 (35:38):
I love that, and I love that I'm the one.

Speaker 5 (35:39):
Of one, John J.

Speaker 8 (35:41):
Rich This is Kyle's reminder to gather and sort all
her receipts from this month for taxes next year.

Speaker 11 (35:46):
Yes, it's very actually very smart.

Speaker 8 (35:51):
But speaking of receipts, you know what happened me this morning?
So have you guys done that thing yet where you
post something on stories and then you get a message
from Instagram story of yours is blown up?

Speaker 5 (36:01):
Ye want to boost it?

Speaker 8 (36:03):
Yeah? Right, I'll go know and then I try, I
go to what I want to do on Instagram and goes,
this story's blown up, want to boost it, and he
wouldn't let me go any further outside of so I
thought they must know something I don't know, because you know,
I'm losing followers daily on Instagram.

Speaker 5 (36:17):
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. So I'm like, okay, Instagram,
I'll play your game. Yes, I'll boost it.

Speaker 8 (36:23):
I don't even know which post it was, because it
was a couple of days ago or weeks ago, a
week ago.

Speaker 5 (36:26):
I just got a bill for four.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
Hundred dollars that post?

Speaker 8 (36:30):
What yeah, for Instagram And it was because of that, Like,
that's not fair.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
Four hundred dollars, Well.

Speaker 8 (36:35):
Exactly, I'm rounding up. It was exactly three hundred and
forty two dollars Instagram.

Speaker 5 (36:42):
Wait a minute, I would have never done that.

Speaker 8 (36:43):
If you would have been post like sending me that message,
I couldn't get through the next thing.

Speaker 6 (36:47):
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
Wow, that's experience.

Speaker 5 (36:50):
It's like, Wow, everyone's talking about it today, and it's.

Speaker 11 (36:54):
Not like, oh, boosting that post gained you ten thousand
extra followers.

Speaker 8 (36:59):
Oh, it's just four seven thousand impressions. Is that good?

Speaker 2 (37:02):
Yeah, I mean so, but.

Speaker 6 (37:04):
Forty seven I don't know.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
If it's four hundred dollars good?

Speaker 6 (37:07):
Yeah, no, maybe if it was forty seven million.

Speaker 5 (37:10):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Your next bill will come.

Speaker 8 (37:14):
You'll receive your next bill when your ad costs reached
seven hundred and fifty.

Speaker 7 (37:17):
Whoa.

Speaker 6 (37:18):
Now you need to call Instagram and get a handle
of that next ail.

Speaker 3 (37:23):
The next segment we're going to do is called Second
Date Update because that's what we're going to try and
get and that's what the bit is called Second Date Update.

Speaker 1 (37:31):
Starts right now on John Jay and Ridge Jay Rich.

Speaker 5 (37:34):
Time for Second Date Update. Taya, Taya? Thanks for holding?

Speaker 8 (37:37):
What's going on?

Speaker 5 (37:37):
What's your story?

Speaker 12 (37:38):
So my story is, let's see my gate that I
went on that you know, I actually enjoyed, which doesn't
happen too often. It was like the perfect setting, right, Like,
I'm just really into sports, so I was happy that
he wanted to meet up and go to this like
local sports bar that I hang out at a lot.
And yes, so that was made me feel like relaxed.

(38:02):
But not only that, like the vibe was just really good.
You know, I felt like this guy Cameron he's just
like super funny, kind of kept me on my toes
that sort of thing. And I like the way that
I felt being around him, Like I was kind of thinking, oh,
you know, this guy can have a good time, be
fun to hang out with again, that sort of thing.

(38:22):
And you know, we ended up hooking up that night.
It went in that direction, and that went well. I
thought there was the connection that should be there, Like,
you know, I just didn't think this was only going
to be a one time thing at all. But unfortunately,
it's been oh gosh, almost four weeks now and I

(38:43):
haven't heard anything from him at all. So I figure
that four weeks has gone by, think he's so alive.
I think he's just ghosting me, you know. So I
just wanted to know, like what did I miss? What
happened here?

Speaker 2 (38:57):
Yeah, that's that's kind of mystery. If if it was
like a successful look up, That's what I'm.

Speaker 6 (39:01):
Saying, Like, that's such a bummer. It's like you give
yourself up to somebody and then they don't hit you back,
Like that is so lame.

Speaker 11 (39:08):
And it's maybe he had a girlfriend and they were
on a break or something and they got back together.
Then it really wasn't like anything that happened during your
date or with the situation. He may have really enjoyed
it and may have really enjoyed you and just was
had feelings that were unresolved with someone else.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
I don't know.

Speaker 12 (39:26):
Oh yeah, I mean that sucks too, but just it's
the whole just no text, no call, right, Yeah, Well.

Speaker 5 (39:31):
I think it also depends on the level of intimacy.
Did you go all the way with him? All the way?

Speaker 15 (39:37):
We did?

Speaker 2 (39:38):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying, I know, but in.

Speaker 5 (39:43):
A different direction.

Speaker 6 (39:44):
Yeah, Tea, what was that conversation like when you guys
were done, did he stay the night or like did
you stay the night? Was there like hey, I'll hit
you up later, I'll talk to you later, or was
it just like okay, bye.

Speaker 12 (39:58):
I thought it was going to go in that direction
as spending the night, but I did have like you
had to get up early for work, so we ended
up like just ubering me back to my place.

Speaker 8 (40:07):
Okay. He says, his name is Cameron. We got his number,
we'll call him. Okay, all right, all right, so hang on,
we'll get him on the phone. Give us a break,
give us a second. We have the information. You have
all the information. Yeah, okay, all right. Second date update
continues next with John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 1 (40:23):
Chaos was a radio show. You're listening to it. It's
John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 8 (40:28):
Jane Rich with the middle. Second day up date. You
got Taya on the line. How'd you guys meet? How'd
you meet Cameron Tya?

Speaker 12 (40:34):
Actually there were friends of a friend, the sort of thing.
So now a dating app, which was great.

Speaker 8 (40:39):
Okay, you're a friend of a friend and you hit
it off. He thought it was great. In fact, you
even spent the night like you slept with him. That
so you didn't spend the whole night, but you slept
with them. You got intimate, like you know, there was nuduty,
there was all that good stuff. And then it's been
four weeks and in the four weeks you've reached out
to him.

Speaker 5 (40:54):
How many times?

Speaker 12 (40:56):
I've reached out him twice because I didn't want to look,
you know, crazy to that point. I would have more,
but yeah, I felt a little self conscious about it.

Speaker 8 (41:04):
You know, I kind of had the same thing on
a friend level. I went out to lunch with a
new friend last week and I've texted him twice and
he hasn't responded.

Speaker 2 (41:12):
Oh that's sad, and I'm kind of like, well, gifts, Yeah, yeah,
we can do a second lunch date up with you.

Speaker 7 (41:19):
Man.

Speaker 2 (41:19):
I thought we had a good lunch.

Speaker 5 (41:21):
I told you order it was good.

Speaker 2 (41:22):
He was delicious.

Speaker 5 (41:23):
You know.

Speaker 8 (41:24):
I lunched this guy, great guy. We both had a
salad with salmon on it. I ate my all my salad,
all my salmon. He took one bite, thought it was delicious,
and he didn't eat the rest of it.

Speaker 2 (41:34):
Did you kill his place? I wanted to, but I
thought it was too simple.

Speaker 14 (41:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (41:37):
I think if you were to be like can I
have your food? He would really not ever time.

Speaker 5 (41:41):
That's the friend level of sleeping with someoney.

Speaker 13 (41:43):
It would probably be.

Speaker 11 (41:44):
Like, oh I went to lunch with John Jay and
he ordered an appetizer from for the table and didn't
share with anything.

Speaker 8 (41:51):
Alright, let's call Cameron and see why he's ghosting you.

Speaker 5 (41:54):
Hold lof.

Speaker 6 (42:06):
Hello, Hi is Cameron there?

Speaker 15 (42:09):
Yeah? Yeah, this is this is Cameron.

Speaker 17 (42:11):
Hi.

Speaker 6 (42:12):
My name's Peyton. I'm with John Jay and Rich and
we just wanted to talk to you on the radio
really quickly if you have time.

Speaker 15 (42:18):
Oh yeah, yeah, sure, what's up?

Speaker 5 (42:20):
Well?

Speaker 8 (42:21):
The deal is you kind of you went on a
date with a friend of ours and you're ghosting.

Speaker 5 (42:26):
Her, and we wanted to know why. So we just
thought we'd kind of call you if you don't mind.

Speaker 15 (42:32):
Ah, okay, yeah, sure, what's up?

Speaker 14 (42:38):
Who is it?

Speaker 5 (42:39):
Taya?

Speaker 13 (42:41):
Taya?

Speaker 15 (42:43):
Okay?

Speaker 7 (42:46):
Man.

Speaker 15 (42:46):
Look, I don't know if ghosting was the best way
to kind of do it or even I mean, I
guess I ghosted, but I honestly I didn't know how
else to handle it without sounding like a jerk. Does
that Does that make sense?

Speaker 5 (43:00):
It depends why are you going her?

Speaker 15 (43:03):
Well?

Speaker 5 (43:03):
Okay?

Speaker 13 (43:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 15 (43:04):
So she she was like super cool and.

Speaker 7 (43:09):
We had it.

Speaker 15 (43:10):
We had a great date. At the date was fun.
It was high energy, and I mean, yeah we hooked
up at the end. But like the thing was, she
was just way and I mean like way more into
sports than I was. That I am period, like diehard
fan screaming at the TV, quoting stats, talking about the

(43:34):
history just and I'm I was honestly a little embarrassing.
I was sitting there feeling like I was the girl
on the date and I'm like, I'm just being real.
I I she was super cool, but like I want
a girly girl. You know, someone who there was a
brunch and you know loves the Roum comms and you know,

(43:55):
does all the cute girly stuff. And it's not like
out shut out shining me and in sports knowledge and
uh and knows more off anything football than I do
and stuff like that. Like not that I'm super into
sports in the first place, but it was just like
I said, I felt it's intimidated.

Speaker 2 (44:14):
I guess I wonder why you you go and hook
it up then if you don't think it's going to
be the one for you. He's a man rich Yeah, well.

Speaker 6 (44:29):
A man.

Speaker 7 (44:30):
I was feeling it.

Speaker 15 (44:31):
But uh, just after the fact, I kind of panicked and.

Speaker 5 (44:35):
Dipped and I thought you meant like why you were
doing it?

Speaker 12 (44:38):
So I ahead to jump in.

Speaker 7 (44:39):
I don't mean to jump in.

Speaker 5 (44:41):
Jump in before.

Speaker 8 (44:41):
I I'll tell you my little my theory later, but
go ahead, jump in.

Speaker 13 (44:44):
What happened?

Speaker 12 (44:44):
Okay, Okay, I'm just sitting here flabbergasted because I never
you know, there's all kinds of things. Maybe somebody could
go before, but I for my love of sports, like
that's why I have not heard me because I like
sports too much.

Speaker 15 (45:00):
Is that what you're telling me, Hey, is that you? Yeah,
it's me My gosh. I didn't mean it like that,
like I just it was No.

Speaker 12 (45:12):
You were very very clear on what you said, so
I'll stop you right there. You I think you said
it a couple of times that you want some type
of girly girl maybe who like just wants to you know,
not rock the boat or something like that. I don't
know if like it's like a nineteen fifties housewife doesn't
have opinions about whatever takes. If you, I'm not sure

(45:33):
if you have any takes, but that's what you said.

Speaker 15 (45:36):
No, I mean it's it wasn't like about you having opinions.
It was just that like you it hard like more
than any guy that I know, and it just kind
of made me feel Okay, I know how it made
me feel.

Speaker 12 (45:48):
It's clear how it made you feel insecure, and I did.
I'm not gonna lie. I did pick up on that.
But like that's all well and good. But maybe next time,
instead of like ghosting someone, you could just grow a
pair and tell the person.

Speaker 2 (46:02):
I kind of agree with that. I mean, once you
once you get like that, it's like at least do
the phone call and see if maybe you can work
out another date or see where it's going. Not just
totally disagree.

Speaker 8 (46:11):
I would think that he would not sleep with her though,
well that would be already unless I was going to
say before she jumped in, was like unless she was
using the sports analogies while they were doing it right right,
like you know, whoa whoa time out, She's like on
top and she just puts her fingers over her shoulders
time out, time out, or she's like, you know, oh yeah,
Lebron's goat on the goat.

Speaker 5 (46:31):
Tearing it up? Wow, wow, right okay? Or how you
like that?

Speaker 2 (46:34):
Nothing but net you weren't doing that right, Taya.

Speaker 12 (46:39):
No, there's a time in a place for that.

Speaker 6 (46:44):
I kind of love you, though you're yeah.

Speaker 5 (46:48):
That's what I thought.

Speaker 15 (46:49):
I mean, look like it. I didn't know how else
to say it without sounding like an idiot, and like,
clearly I failed, and clearly it's coming across that way.

Speaker 12 (47:00):
With sports reference in here, you couldn't care in the
ball we'll play that. You know, you could have a
really I think I'm a pretty cool person who you know,
knows the game. We could have a good time with
friends and stuff. But you fumbled.

Speaker 8 (47:14):
Literally, Yeah, I don't see the big deal. I think
my wife watches a lot more sports than me. More
sports she does, I mean, she loves there's certain sports
you watch, certain teams she watches, and I'm fine with it.

Speaker 11 (47:27):
You may just be more secure in your manhood or
not care about that. Because he was like that felt emasculated,
but yeah he did.

Speaker 5 (47:34):
That's right. Yeah you got a chill.

Speaker 6 (47:36):
I can see both sides though obviously just not a match.

Speaker 8 (47:39):
I would, but I'll rewind the tape time to.

Speaker 1 (47:42):
Watch the film.

Speaker 11 (47:43):
I would feel like most guys would appreciate and love
that that they don't have to sit there and explain
every part of the game, Like now you watch the
game with your girlfriend and maybe she can even teach
you something like that.

Speaker 2 (47:53):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (47:53):
When I go to a game, my wife would be
like that was a foul. Wasn't that a foul?

Speaker 6 (47:57):
But I don't know why because you're on your phone.

Speaker 1 (48:02):
Sorry?

Speaker 5 (48:03):
All right, So no second date then for you, guys, Cameron.

Speaker 15 (48:06):
Keya no, no, not for me.

Speaker 5 (48:09):
Okay, you don't.

Speaker 8 (48:11):
Want to do best out of seven?

Speaker 2 (48:20):
He doesn't want to date us either.

Speaker 5 (48:21):
All right?

Speaker 8 (48:22):
All right, Well, thank you both for going to there
with us. That's second update with Jane Rich.

Speaker 3 (48:26):
We want you to be part of the show. Call
us eighty seven seven nine three seven, one oh four
seven Get on the air with John Jay and rich.

Speaker 5 (48:35):
I, Jane Rich, Joelne, good morning, Thank you for holding.

Speaker 18 (48:39):
Good morning, You're welcome.

Speaker 5 (48:40):
What's going on? How can we help you?

Speaker 7 (48:42):
Oh?

Speaker 18 (48:43):
Well, you know, I was basically calling because I'm literally
just dying of secondhand embarrassment and I don't really know
who to talk to you about it.

Speaker 8 (48:54):
Well, I think you've come to the right place, really
good at firsthand embarrassment.

Speaker 18 (48:58):
All right, already.

Speaker 19 (49:00):
Oh so I went to get my blood drawn and
got some blood tests done, and basically the phlebottomist.

Speaker 17 (49:07):
Comes up to me and says, I'm ready to take
your blood in what I thought was a full on
Dracula voice, you know, thinking that she was being funny,
and so I immediately was like, ahh, I'm ready, you.

Speaker 13 (49:25):
Know, and I kid you not.

Speaker 20 (49:28):
She just stared at me and like was completely serious,
because that's actually her voice.

Speaker 2 (49:37):
Was like a Romanian phlebotomist.

Speaker 19 (49:39):
Yeah, she literally was like, I don't understand what you're doing.

Speaker 12 (49:43):
And I was like, oh crap.

Speaker 20 (49:44):
Like the whole thing was bad.

Speaker 19 (49:49):
It got worse and worth as she was talking and
I realized like, oh no, so I had just wanted
to disappear.

Speaker 20 (49:56):
And I needed to share that. Its moments where where
you just like can't recover from anything.

Speaker 13 (50:04):
Because here is I.

Speaker 8 (50:07):
Have this friend of mine. She is one hundred percent Korean,
but she's born and raised here, okay, And she was
on a flight and she she didn't know she was
pregnant time, but she found she passed out and she
you know, she finds out lad it's because she was pregnant.
But she's on a flight and she passed out a
little bit really quick, and she when she came to
the flight attendant was.

Speaker 5 (50:23):
Like, ma'am, ma'am, do you speak English?

Speaker 2 (50:27):
Oh my gosh, ma'am And.

Speaker 8 (50:28):
She wait opens her she was like, yes, I speak English.
I'm from Jersey.

Speaker 1 (50:35):
That's exactly how.

Speaker 2 (50:38):
She could go anywhere.

Speaker 12 (50:42):
What do you do your trap?

Speaker 11 (50:43):
Yeah, there's no recovering, just to slowly walk away.

Speaker 8 (50:48):
Also, the bottomer should work on her intro line. Somebody
at a workplace should be like, hey man, since you
got that thick.

Speaker 5 (50:54):
Accident, you might want to not say are you ready?
Can I take your blood.

Speaker 2 (51:00):
He kept telling me.

Speaker 17 (51:02):
She said like, you need to come down. I need
to get the blood.

Speaker 20 (51:05):
And I was just dying.

Speaker 19 (51:07):
I was shaking.

Speaker 17 (51:08):
She's like, you must have jakeing. It's terrible.

Speaker 5 (51:11):
She's like, I'll be right back in ten seconds.

Speaker 2 (51:13):
One. Oh god. Yeah, that's kind of amazing though, that
that happened to you. You've got a story forever now.

Speaker 13 (51:27):
I just don't.

Speaker 12 (51:28):
I can't ever go back to that office.

Speaker 2 (51:29):
I'll go back every time because it's so great.

Speaker 13 (51:34):
I'll try to.

Speaker 20 (51:34):
Plant the recorder and see if you gets near it.

Speaker 5 (51:36):
We'll have a great day. And thank you so much
for making a smile today.

Speaker 19 (51:41):
Oh my god, thank you for letting me get that
off my chest. I'm dying over here.

Speaker 2 (51:44):
I have a great day, and thanks you too.

Speaker 5 (51:47):
It's John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 2 (51:49):

Thought, good job. It's so cold, Okay, rich this is
something that is cold, something that's cold? Is that a

(53:44):

Speaker 3 (53:45):
Richard? We were looking for? In fact, a penguin. That
is a job.

Speaker 5 (53:52):
Is I had the visual that little cute cartoon penguin.
Is that what it was? That was real?

Speaker 1 (53:55):
That was a real penguin.

Speaker 2 (53:56):
It's not adorable, you know.

Speaker 1 (53:58):
Another one happy feet?

Speaker 2 (54:01):
Okay, that's like a good horn section.

Speaker 3 (54:07):
Okay, so two points are currently out there, John Jay's one.

Speaker 1 (54:11):
Rich has one Peyton.

Speaker 13 (54:12):
Carry them into the sillar and pus them into a deep,
dark watering.

Speaker 6 (54:19):
That's giving Davy Jones from the Pirates of the Caribbean.

Speaker 3 (54:22):
Yeah, so really not close at all. Of course, Rich,
we were looking for the penguin, the penguin from Batman
returns Man.

Speaker 6 (54:33):
I should have gotten that tricky.

Speaker 2 (54:35):
Nicky was so sicky?

Speaker 1 (54:39):
Is there is? I warned you?

Speaker 21 (54:42):
Okay, so no points for Peyton, Kyle, No, I love you, sir.

Speaker 1 (54:51):

Speaker 1 (54:58):

Speaker 6 (55:24):
And there was a room rose on that door.

Speaker 1 (55:26):
There was room for Jack. You froze to death, poor Jack.
Good news for April.

Speaker 3 (55:32):
You have two points commanding lead going into this into
the next round, and I will say the next round
is level V difficult, So good luck to John J.

Speaker 2 (55:50):

Speaker 5 (55:51):
You did it.

Speaker 1 (55:52):
Very popular on the show right now.

Speaker 8 (55:54):
Oh it is? It sounds like it. Could it be
the penguins from.

Speaker 3 (55:58):
That gascarm Okay, that was close. We were so we
were looking for everybody in the room one, two three,
David Goggins being cold to his clients. Boy, you think
that's okay?

Speaker 1 (56:20):
So sorry, John, Day's nothing there.

Speaker 2 (56:23):
Rick tried to go to the net. It bounced out
Parako with knuckling my store ten neighbors got the last
ten knuckle ball from the plumot. Well, you're talking about
hockey hockey playoffs right there, okay?

Speaker 5 (56:36):

Speaker 2 (56:37):
Louis Blues.

Speaker 3 (56:38):
Yeah, so you would have been right if you stopped
at hockey. No, Rich, that's wrong. We were looking for hockey.
You play hockey in cold weather? Okay, My good job,
Rich to try Who was that? That was the Saint
Louis Clues.

Speaker 2 (56:51):

good five to one yesterday.

Speaker 1 (56:54):
Yeah, and ended, uh ended in our favor. Uh so
no points. You had this round. I'm so sorry, but
uh we'll move on to Peyton. She's got this.

Speaker 6 (57:10):
There was definitely some Star Wars music in.

Speaker 2 (57:13):
The back of that.

Speaker 5 (57:14):
I heard the yeah, work it out.

Speaker 6 (57:17):
I've never seen any Star Wars movie that is R
two D two time on Mars bad.

Speaker 1 (57:22):
Guess worst, guess.

Speaker 2 (57:24):
It's Star Wars.

Speaker 1 (57:26):

Speaker 8 (57:27):
I think that's what Luke guts the ban the Tom

Speaker 1 (57:34):
Yeah? Yeah, so I was right.

Speaker 2 (57:38):

Speaker 6 (57:43):
I should get a point because that was.

Speaker 1 (57:45):
Star Wars job John Jay, John Jay gets a point?

Speaker 12 (57:49):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 6 (57:51):
This game?

Speaker 1 (57:52):
Kyle? Now you're gonna have good luck, Kyle.

Speaker 6 (57:55):
Tricky Mickey Right, April.

Speaker 2 (57:57):
You know, I'm Gladys Night. When I worked in Alice,
I were for a station that did these concerts, and
she was doing like a little show for the radio station.
They were all hanging out in rehearsals and she walks
up to me. She's like, I'm supposed to go up
and rehearse, but I ain't had one chip. Give me
a chip, give me a bag of chip. So I'm
all right, I'll go get your back of chicks. So

(58:18):
I go get her a bag of chips. Nothing said,
she does the concert. She thanks me during the show
for a bag of chip. She's like, because this man,
I got a bag of chips. That's why I'm sicking tonight.
So she was very cool.

Speaker 11 (58:28):
Okay, so I'm trying to figure out how Richard's got
a snack chip story. Yeah, it's cold, and I think
maybe it was because there was an icy response.

Speaker 1 (58:39):
You know what, that's a really good guess.

Speaker 3 (58:42):
What I was looking for is cool story, bro, so
real close, nice.

Speaker 21 (58:53):
All right, April, good snowman, bros.

Speaker 7 (58:59):
It cold, all right?

Speaker 1 (59:03):
You see ice cube?

Speaker 5 (59:05):

Speaker 19 (59:07):
Thank you guys.

Speaker 12 (59:08):
That was a lot of fun. Tricky Nicky, You're.

Speaker 5 (59:10):
Welcome, hot Line. I'm so glad you're here.

Speaker 3 (59:15):
As the person who currently occupies your attention, I would
like to thank you for listening to John Jaye Rich.

Speaker 5 (59:22):
John jay and Rich. We got a DM from Jenny. Jenny.
Let's dissect your DM. Let's go into what was going on?
What happened? What's your story?

Speaker 6 (59:30):
Hi?

Speaker 22 (59:31):
So I was dating this guy for like a year
and a half, and like he broke up with me
like three times. It was just a big, gigantic mess.
So now he's like, I'm trying and trying and trying
to get back with me, but I'm like, I know
that you're talking to this other kick. And he's like,
I'm not. I'm not, but like, come to find out

(59:51):
what he totally is. He was at my house last
night and she called him. He's like, oh, she's just
a friend. No, they're not just friends. And I'm just
tired of the lies and I want him busted.

Speaker 8 (01:00:03):
Oh you want us to call him and bust him?

Speaker 22 (01:00:06):
If you looked like that would be amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
Oh yeah, But doesn't it sound like you've already busted him.
I mean, you know all the facts. What do you
miss it?

Speaker 22 (01:00:16):
Because he won't tell He like, he won't tell the truth.

Speaker 2 (01:00:20):
Oh well, do you know what I mean? Do you
need him to tell the truth to know that he's lying?

Speaker 6 (01:00:24):
I feel like you already know the answer. Just turn
and run and find someone else.

Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
Yeah, I mean this is bad. You don't want to
hang in this anymore? Do you?

Speaker 13 (01:00:30):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (01:00:30):
God?

Speaker 14 (01:00:31):
No?

Speaker 22 (01:00:31):
But I just I feel like just being petty.

Speaker 5 (01:00:35):
Actually, she said he came over last night. Did you
sleep with him?

Speaker 22 (01:00:39):
Oh god, no, absolutely not.

Speaker 5 (01:00:42):
So he came over. What do you guys do? I watched?

Speaker 22 (01:00:45):
No, we were just talking like he wanted to over
just because he's like, I miss you, I love you
all the things, and I was, honestly, I was gonna
go back, like we have been back and forth in
this for like a couple of months, and I was like,
you know, I'm gonna give him another chance. I'm gonna
try this. And then she calls his phone and he's like, oh, yeah,
she's just my friend. She doesn't want them to do

(01:01:07):
work for him. I'm like, you're an idiot, get out
of my house, like I'm done, and he's like this
is the last time that you're going to kick me
out of my out of your house, and I was
like rap, you know, I was.

Speaker 8 (01:01:16):
Like, okay, okay, So if we call him, I don't
see us doing a war the roses because you're not together.
So if we call him, you just want us to
talk to him and be like, hey, you're on the radio.

Speaker 5 (01:01:26):
What's going on with Jenny or the other? Like you know,
what's your process?

Speaker 11 (01:01:32):
Antinet and we should say it, should say what's going
on with Antonet? Then if he's like no, he's like,
she's just a friend, but we don't say anything about Jennifers. Okay, right,
and I'm like that you might be more willing to
open up about Antnet. But if he knows that Jenny's
behind the call, he's not gonna say.

Speaker 5 (01:01:50):
Is that what you want to say?

Speaker 6 (01:01:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:01:53):
Okay.

Speaker 8 (01:01:53):
I wonder if we call if he's just gonna be like, whoa,
this just came up last night.

Speaker 5 (01:01:58):
Here we go go be quiet? Question?

Speaker 15 (01:02:11):
Does Jordan I can't come to my phone right now?

Speaker 12 (01:02:14):
Your name and number?

Speaker 6 (01:02:15):
One more time?

Speaker 7 (01:02:16):
Thank you?

Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
Does he like a Southern accent?

Speaker 6 (01:02:19):
Does he go to better or does he wake up early?

Speaker 7 (01:02:22):
Oh?

Speaker 22 (01:02:23):
Yeah, no, he's he's up.

Speaker 2 (01:02:25):
Yeah, he's up like five a m.

Speaker 7 (01:02:28):
He's just.

Speaker 5 (01:02:34):
Hello, Jordan. Yeah, Hey, it's John James Rich radio show.

Speaker 7 (01:02:45):

Speaker 2 (01:02:47):

Speaker 5 (01:02:51):
Does he listen to our show? Do you know?

Speaker 12 (01:02:54):

Speaker 22 (01:02:55):

Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
I do hope you Okay, that's damn everything answers everything.

Speaker 6 (01:03:02):

Speaker 22 (01:03:03):
Don't be sorry.

Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
He said, I'm way better off we are what we
were saying at the beginning, you know what, you know,
you don't need to anything.

Speaker 5 (01:03:13):
Yeah, Peyton was showing us your pictures. You're beautiful. You're
very beautiful.

Speaker 22 (01:03:16):
Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 8 (01:03:18):

goodbye to him.
