Speaker 1 (00:00):
John Jy and Rich Henry. Thanks for holding you on
the air man.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Hey guys, what's going on? How are you?

Speaker 1 (00:04):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (00:06):
So, guys, I really can't believe I'm saying this, but
I just found out that my girl friding up two
and a half years, someone I was thinking about proposing to,
is a scammer. And it's not like it's not like
she's finishing, like trying to get free drinks so she's like,
you know, trying to be extra cute to get extra stuff.
She's just she's a fall on stealing money from me. Scammer.

(00:28):
And I just found out. I was scrolling through my
cash at the street the other night and I noticed
these small transfers of money that I definitely don't remember making.
And you know, at first I thought maybe I was,
you know, drunk and one night, I'm just buying something
or like up late on Instagram. I'm just trying to
get some stuff here and there. But it's definitely not

(00:50):
the case. I started looking at the time stamps, and
all of them are from times when we were hanging
out together and she would grab my phone and she'd say, hey,
I'm checking out the GPS or I'm going to order
rest some food or I just gotta text my mom
or something like that. And it turns out she's secretly
cash acting herself money every time that we've been hanging
out together. And it's not like it was once or twice,

(01:14):
it's could have gone.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
On for months, and like how much? What give us
an idea of what's a typical transaction, if you know?

Speaker 2 (01:22):
At first, I started looking at the history and I
was like, oh, it's fifty dollars here, seventy bucks here,
and then it was like one hundred, one hundred and
twenty two hundred dollars. She's like she got bolder with
it at time went on and it's like one hundreds
of dollars for thousands. Maybe I haven't tallied everything up yet.
But before I tallied everything, I confronted her about it
and I was like, did you do? Since she had

(01:44):
nothing to say, she just started crying, and then she
tried to flip it on me, like you don't trust me,
you don't you don't trust me. You know, we're trying
to build a life together, and I'm like, you're robbing me,
Like and now I don't even know what to do,
you know, like I mean, I feel like an idiot.
I'm really pissed off, I'm hurt, and I'm broke. Like now,

(02:05):
I'm I'm having a hard time with work and I
don't have that much money, and I don't know, like,
do I go to the police? I told my mom?
Do I tell her family? Because I know them all
really well. I mean I don't even know. I don't
even know who I'm dating anymore.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
But have you confronted her? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:23):
I told her about it and she just started crying.
She just started crying like she was the victim. And
I'm like, you're the one who's robbing me.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
That's uncomfortable. Yeah, you got to get away from her,
I think immediately the first step, but court or anything,
I would just get away. I think. Course it's going
to be a waste of money, more money, more money
than Yeah, to tell her family. You just need to
tell her. Listen, that's obviously not cool. And we can't
have relationships if we can't trust each other.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
We have a problem.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Yeah, get that veg skin. That's not going to be
good in any relationship. And Karma's going to come for her,
and Karma is a b H.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
So that's that be my take, I hope. So, I mean,
it's just we've built a life. It's like two and
a half years. That's that's not that's not a month.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
You know.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
It's like, but at least you.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Didn't waste ten years. Yeah that's true, Kyle, Yes it could. Yeah.
But also like you say, like you're broke, but like
good for you for not being able to notice when
that kind of money gets taken out of your account.
Total month, he said, like hundreds, possibly thousands.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
You know what I would do, Like I would break
up with her as well in it, but I would
also be like whatever you since have been two and
a half years, you guys have things together. Maybe I'd
be like look this, this this or like the dog,
whatever you guys share a custody of this is good.
This this is mine now, So I'm gonna break up
with you. I'm not going to press charges, but I
want you out of my life. But all this is mine,
whatever it is. Do you know what I mean? Like

(03:45):
you have whatever memories, if there's something that you both
shared or whatever, these are mine. If you don't like it,
then I'm not going to press charges, but I'm not
going to arrest you. Go yere, you keep.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Everything because you said something that really hit me. Kind
of weird as when you said, she to turn it
around on you, Like, not only is she ripping you off,
she's making you feel bad for her ripping you off.
You don't want any part of that.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Yeah, maybe I'll just take some of the jewelry I
bought her and just I don't know.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Get some money back. Don't be vindictive, just get out,
just to just cut your losses and get out.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Okay, okay, all right, thanks guys, good luck, right man,
Thanks Henry, thank you
