No problem. So my uh my buddy, he quit his
job to become a tattoo artist. You know, he's been,
uh he's been practicing on friends and family and I love.

got some cool ink already, and I'm I'm pretty picky
about who I let, like near my.

But you know, he keeps hitting me up over and
over again, asking me if he can tattoo me, and
I'm like, I don't want to hurt his feelings, you know,
but I also I don't want to make some sort
of permanent mistake on my body. You know, it's kind
of forever unless I go and laser it off or something.
But I just I don't know how to tell.

Him no answer, just go ahead, get the tattoo and
then have it laser off. So you got all this
expense just so that you don't want to tell your friend,
and you've already got tattooed, so you seem like an
obvious person to ask for him.

Right, Yeah, No, I mean like it would be a
no brainer if he wasn't so terrible. It's just like
I don't want to ruin like our relationship. You know,
he's like like a really good buddy. But it's also
you know, it's it just feels like something like is
this going to happen no matter what?

Or like, how do I I don't know what to do?

I think one option is maybe you come up with
a design that is so difficult that he has to say, man,
I can't do that one. That's a good idea. Somehow
make it like him saying he can't do no problem,
something like oh man, or why did you just say

any more ink. I like what I have him done.
I feel like this work of art is complete, right, Yeah.

I mean I was thinking of like something silly and
small and out of the way, but I just I
don't know.

It just feels like I like your idea. I might
have to try that.

What about this off? So in the studio you've got Rich, Kyle,
Me and Peyton. Rich Kyle and Me don't have tattoos,
Peyton has several. What's your point of view Peyton is
someone who has tattoos, Oh gosh.

I mean if it's a good buddy, I would be like,
if it was one of my good friends, would be like, hey,
love you, but like, you know, keep practicing a little
bit and then maybe when you get better then we
can try. Or I would just let him do a
super simple design and do like a little heart that
if it did get messed up, I know I can
go and cover up or something like that.

Have you ever led him on to believe that he

No, but like he's asked about it, you know, and
he's like, since you've been already doing it with other
friends and family, It's like, yo, what are we gonna
you know, when are we gonna have a session?

And did okay? Then you could be like, you know what, man,
we're friends and I don't want to go there. What
is something? What's something goes wrong? Dave? Like my wife,
her sister is a hot air balloon pilot. I don't
know if I've talked about this on the Yeah, yeah,
she got certified. She has a hot air balloon and
she asked Blake if she will go on her flight,
and my wife says, absolutely not not doing it. And

she's told her that from the very beginning, I'm not
gonna get on the hotter Blue with you. So now
she knows not to ask Blake to go on the
hot air balloon. So it's kind of like from the
very beginning, like, Hey, I'm going to become a tatto artist.
Kind of tattoo you to make? And I don't know,
dud we're friends, want to ruin a relationship? What if
I don't like what you do? I think that's fine,
you know what I mean? So I think at some
point you gotta or you just say yeah and then
you're just always too busy you can't do it.
Speaker 2 (03:39):

No, I feel like the two options he's given me
that that one sounds a little smarter.

I just don't want to. I don't want to like
lule our friendship.

is something else very similar to this. My wife had.
We got the dog Mom's day coming up, right, and
a friend of hers is coming and Blake is having
everybody that goes having something custom made for uh, personally
made with their dog's name on it. And so she
says to her friend, Shauna, what's the name of your dog?

I want to make something for them, and she goes, well,
I'm bringing four. He goes, wow, that's a lot. Okay,
what are the names of your dogs, and she goes,
I'm bringing four and I had a caller. Her dog's name
is four. It was a cool name for a dog.
But I can see how that turned into a miscommunication.
