Speaker 1 (00:00):
How about we get a little wedding update from Peyton Whitmore,
(00:02):
who said she's gonna start taking trezipetide to be in
cheap for her wedding in October.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Yeah, that's the plan. I actually am seriously considering it,
but who knows, who knows, But yeah, know the wedding outdate,
everything's still going good. It was actually kind of weird
because somebody asked me recently just the other day when
the wedding was, and I was like, oh, October of
next year. And then I was like, wait a minute,
October of this year.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
That's so crazy.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
And when I started to think about it, I was like, man,
being a Type B bride is not for the week.
But yeah, a type B because I am one hundred
percent a Type B bride.
Speaker 4 (00:38):
What does that mean?
Speaker 2 (00:39):
So you know, like you have Type A personalities and
then you have Type B personalities. Type A personalities are
usually a little bit more organized. They want things to
be the way that you are. Usually, if you're a bridezilla,
you're probably a type A person in general, where Type
B brides or type B people kind of go with
the flow. We don't really crack under pressure, and we
just kind of just like let things happen, you know,
(01:01):
like we're the type of people that let our phones
die when we're out at the bars.
Speaker 5 (01:04):
But like the problem with being its type B bride
is as the bride, you're kind of the planner.
Speaker 4 (01:09):
Yeah, so you have to get stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:11):
Doney's maybe a little laxaday. It's called not getting enough done,
and might at the end of the last minute go
oh crap, I only have ten months to do something
that I probably should have started fifteen months ago.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
Thank you, Kyle, because that's exactly where I'm at in
my life. I'm at the point we still.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
Don't have a venue. That's gonna ask me because I know,
like most places in October are probably booked a rich Oh.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Yeah, yeah, we're definitely in peak season. And as I
say that, Kyle just wins, like I'm like, yeah, we don't.
Speaker 5 (01:38):
Have a but I also think you're not alone because
my niece is also getting married, and she's getting married
February ninth, so like in a month, and we just
went dress shopping just this past weekend.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Yeah see, I'm going dress shopping next month, which I
probably should have done in December. But yeah, it's just
one of those things where I'm just I know it's
gonna get done.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
And I know it's gonna I was gonna get done.
If you don't have a place here, got people listen, Okay, I'm.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
Gonna, I'm gonna. I'm gonna give you a little comfort here.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
And I want you to know, as far as not
having a venue, when no matter what happens, if you
don't have a venue comes down the last minute, I
think you have. You have access to this studio in
this building. You could walk down the hallway. That could
be your little aisle down that way. You can put
people in this sound space. You can do it up
there so you can use this radio station as a
full on wedding venue.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
And you know what, and I'm not even think you
need approval. We'll just get it done. We'll just do it.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Just does not a bad idea, no, but I definitely
do need to get on it and stuff. I haven't
gotten our saved the dates out yet either, because I
want a venue before I send it out.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
Oh so your date by not even day. You might
push the date.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
I don't want to push the date, but if it
gets to that.
Speaker 6 (02:42):
We might.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
The fact that you've done that that you've even opened
the door to that means it's probably gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
I don't want it.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
I wanted to get done.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
But like also it's just whatever we're we're touring venues
this week, so the red flags.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
The person to do it.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
Yeah, you just wanted that way.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
I just yeah, you must be back to back wedding.
I wouldn't mind the backyard wedding. Yeah, absolutely, but yeah,
so just being a typee ride, like it's just it's
really not for the week.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Like you really gotta have.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
You gotta have a type a person around you. You
really do, because I think is probably a type big
room as well.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Like whatever you want to do.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Okay, so let's go over what you What do you
have besides the ring?
Speaker 2 (03:25):
We have gotten our engagement pictures taken.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
Okay, okay, that's it.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
Kind of have a date that you.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
Like you kind of have your colors picked out?
Speaker 6 (03:36):
We do.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
We don't have a colors progress.
Speaker 3 (03:38):
What about the wedding party or they picked out.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
The wedding party is picked out.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Okay, we have that. That's good. I think you gotta
If you have that, you better have the date because
they got to make plans.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
Yeah, yeah, I know, I know.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
I say you're get married twenty twenty seven.
Speaker 3 (03:50):
It sounds like it.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
Let's go to Draft Kings Draftkingsports.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Right now whatever you New Year's Day is on a Friday,
and I was like, it could be fun to have
a New Year's party, but I don't know.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
We'll I'll keep you guys, because I mean, we have
friends they're getting married, and they're talking about how in
October they couldn't find a venue for this coming year,
like in December, they were almost out of choice.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
I'm sure that's probably the case. It was my friend
sending me her save the dates that made me be like, oh,
I need to get on this because they got engaged
like three weeks ago.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
I'm sure you could get married at like three pm
on a Monday yet married married.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
Actually, I heard the radio station.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
That's what you got to do when you don't when
you're trying to get married and you have a short
time frame enough.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
To just I think I could get everybody on this
show to come back in the afternoon for your wedding.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
You think.
Speaker 6 (04:45):
I will move mountains to be at your wedding.
Speaker 4 (04:47):
Whatever.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Anyway, there's there's's wedding update. That's John, Jay and Rich
What are you unprepared for? Eight seven seven, nine three
seven one oh four seven pays getting married in October?
Speaker 4 (05:10):
Not ready at all?
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Oh oh no, Michelle, Oh, Michelle, callback I hit you.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
Were unprepared for this radio secon.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
I'm still unprepared today. Hey, Mo, what are you unprepared for?
Speaker 6 (05:22):
Hey? I'm unprepared for a wedding as well.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
Okay, go on.
Speaker 6 (05:29):
So I have never I have never wanted to get married,
and I got engaged, and now everyone's asking me what
I want for a wedding. And I have never thought
about what I wanted for a wedding, so I have
no idea. I don't know if I want a ceremony,
a reception, what type of dress, what colors, decorations, nothing,
(05:50):
And everyone keeps asking me, and I have no idea.
I get overwhelmed, I get anxiety, I shut down, and
I stop just attempting to even plan something. So That's
where I'm at.
Speaker 5 (06:04):
You don't have like a date set just yet that
you have to adherent, like Peyton said, a date and.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
No place to do it.
Speaker 6 (06:13):
No, I keep pushing, I keep pushing it back. I
try to do twenty twenty eight, and then I got
yelled at from everyone, and I said, well, okay, fine,
we'll do it twenty twenty seven in January. And then
I said, how about February twenty twenty seven, and how
about maybe March twenty three, Sassand so I'm just gonna
kind of see how far back I can keep pushing it,
(06:35):
because I just, I just I've never thought about a
wedding and now I have to think about one, and
I'm like, well, I just I don't know.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
To me, it seems like you don't want a wedding,
so why do the whole big thing? Why not just
go to the courthouse or.
Speaker 6 (06:53):
So I was thinking about that, and I even looked
up like an elopement in Vegas. But I've my family's
like really excited. I think they've never thought. I mean,
we're Hispanic too, so like they want a wedding and
they want like you know, they're they're so happy for me.
And of course, you know, I'm trying to like keep
the number low so it can be something small. But
(07:14):
I haven't even talked to my mom about how many
people she wants, and so I'm yes, exactly, So yeah,
I have looked at elopements in Vegas and so that
might be a possibility as well.
Speaker 4 (07:31):
A little group chat and help each other out.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Honestly, me and Mo will be like, yeah, girl, I'm
not in the mood to do it either, and we'll
just nothing.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
We'll get done nothing.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
You guys, I mean, if you don't, if you didn't
really care that much more about like just maybe tell
your mom to start planning it and then just say, hey,
you're the one that seems to want this wedding so bad.
I'm down to do it, but it's very overwhelming. So
if you want to start the planning, that's great. Just
checking on me and everyone.
Speaker 6 (07:57):
Yeah, I think she definitely has started planning, and what
she has started, I'm not even sure. I guess when
I see her next, I'll get all those details and
I guess I can say yes or no that Yeah, Mo.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
I was telling I was telling Peyton that. I was
telling my wife Stacy, who you know, does this kind
of stuff, that Peyton has a date but no venue,
and she wants to get married this year in October,
and Stacy said most places are booked next year in
October already, not just this year. But next year I
already know.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Yeah, I've already crossed that.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
I'm struggling over here. We might push the date, all.
Speaker 4 (08:28):
Right, have a great day, get married you two. Michelle High, Hi,
how are you doing? How are you unprepared? What are
you unprepared for?
Speaker 7 (08:38):
So I'm a teacher and I am mentally unprepared to
welcome these kids back who are coming in as we speak.
We have the door closed and there's we got three
teachers here and we're having a team meeting. We told
them they can't come in yet meeting.
Speaker 4 (08:54):
You're all looking the struggle is real.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
I think that first week back like your brain's just
like going through mush, because if you're like most of us,
she kind of tuned out of the world for a while.
Now it's like you're backing and it's moving so fast.
I feel for you.
Speaker 4 (09:09):
Yeah, And we.
Speaker 7 (09:09):
Say we're as bad as the kids, Like we keep
saying we're going to turn ourselves around. But we've literally
been watching Netflix for two weeks straight, going to the
bathroom whenever we want. Great, the ladders are now like
you can go at nine and at eleven thirty and
that is it.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
So what do you watch it on Netflix. What'd you
watch the last two weeks?
Speaker 7 (09:28):
Well, of course I finished Stranger Things and cried my
eyes out, and then I have nothing. Now I'm done.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
Did you hear about what might happen tomorrow with Stranger Things? No?
Speaker 6 (09:36):
What?
Speaker 4 (09:37):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (09:37):
See, if you were paying attention to the kids, the
kids probably already know that.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
I haven't seen them yet.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Tomorrow they're pup. I talked about this yesterday, that there's
stay Shane. There's a secret episode that's coming out tomorrow.
That last episode wasn't the finale?
Speaker 3 (09:50):
Do you want to the secret? O?
Speaker 5 (09:53):
What they've dropped like a mini trailer for what it is?
Speaker 2 (09:58):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (09:58):
Is it the documentary?
Speaker 7 (09:59):
Oh yeah, they're going to freak king of the.
Speaker 4 (10:03):
Audio. I hear both things. He already that's kind of lame.
Speaker 7 (10:08):
It's going to be lame.
Speaker 8 (10:09):
I'm with you.
Speaker 6 (10:09):
No, I don't.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
Knowing the last lines that these characters would ever say.
Speaker 4 (10:15):
It was really hard to do.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
I mean, I remember more than anything just writing in series,
writing those two words having the biggest impact.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
He walks away and closes the basement door. End. Serious, M,
that's going to be interesting to watch.
Speaker 7 (10:34):
Correct, I can't wait?
Speaker 4 (10:35):
Thanks Michelle, Thanks for teaching.
Speaker 7 (10:37):
All right, no worries, Thank you so much, have a
great day.
Speaker 5 (10:41):
Like the Stranger Things fans, they.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
Also do the extra hopefully. So even if it's a
ten minute one, Xena, what are you unprepared for?
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Hi?
Speaker 5 (10:49):
Well, if the electricity ever goes out, if phones ever
go out, I will be probably the.
Speaker 6 (10:56):
Most lost human being on this planet.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
I am not ar I get it.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
Even when the internet goes out.
Speaker 3 (11:03):
I feel like this place is a dump, even when
just the internet goes out.
Speaker 7 (11:08):
I am horrible with direction. I use Google Maps twenty
four to seven.
Speaker 6 (11:12):
And if my phone goes out, I, yeah, I'll be lost.
Don't have to come find me the same way.
Speaker 4 (11:18):
Yeah. I think that's very relatable. Everyone gets that totally.
So you're not lost, You're just with everyone. Thanks Zina,
thanks for listening.
Speaker 5 (11:27):
Love you guys.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
Bye, Hey Edgar, you're on there.
Speaker 8 (11:31):
Hey guys, So it was kind of about the wedding situation.
You guys are just making it too much when it's
really just simp and easy. So what our situation when
I got married? Uh, we got married six months after
(11:51):
our daughter skin.
Speaker 4 (11:55):
Okay, so you're saying, get married, be together for fifty
have a kid, be together fifteen years, get married.
Speaker 8 (12:01):
We got married three times.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
Okay, so you're saying, get it complicated.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
From what that's not complicated?
Speaker 8 (12:12):
No, well we were young, so stuff happened. Well, our
first time we got married, then we you know, separated,
then got married. But our last time we got married
through church. So pretty much we're Hispanic or everything. You know, marriage,
(12:34):
all that stuff has to go through church. So we
decided to get married through church. But it was just
pretty much the spur of the moment. Pretty much, Hey,
you want to get married through church's get married through church.
We have our daughter them. And then six months later
we got married and everything went well.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
Yeah, that's complicated. Complicated. The one thing things got downs pictures.
Why don't you just take wedding pictures and just tell
everybody you're already married.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Oh my gosh, hold on, hold on, we need to
contest and permitt to win it right now. So call
us at eight seven seven nine three seven one oh
four seven. We got a thousand dollars on the line
of Patikey's money. Eight seven seven nine three seven one
oh four seven. Okay, so what are we saying about
her pictures?
Speaker 3 (13:18):
So she's really good at the photographer thing. So why
don't you just do a super small wedding at a
courthouse and just have great wedding pictures and then you
have a party whenever you have a party.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
Yeah, I mean we've considered that option, but at that point,
it's like the ceremony isn't that much more onto the reception,
So why not just do the whole thing? You know,
Because I'm actually a lot like Mo. Like my mom
is the one that like really wants me to have
this big wedding that's like all her and so I
mean I'm kind of giving her a little bit what
she wants. Also, I think it's every girl's dream to
(13:49):
walk down the aisle in a wedding dress, you know.
So I want all of those things. I just want
it to be chill, and I don't want to do it.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
I don't want to do the work.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
That's what you do. Like when we went to Grand
it was like all turn key.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
It was so amazing.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
I talk about Grant Spodding all the time, Like you
go and you sit in the ceremony and then we
had like a nice dinner and then that was it.
Everyone went their own way.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
You go do the thing. Then it's like next, ye,
no dancing, next we will go.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
Yeah, there were people waiting in the wings, weren't they.
Speaker 7 (14:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
I don't think my mom would be I don't think
my mom would be down. I don't think his mom
would be down.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
So I just thought it was beautiful weddas. All right,
We're gonna play a minute to win at Patickey is
the owner of general manager Pieri Ford. He's given us
one thousand dollars. You got to get ten questions right,
ten in a row. You cannot pass. You have to
get him all.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
Right, Emily, good morning, good morning. Let's play.
Speaker 3 (14:37):
All right, sixty seconds on the clock. Here we go.
What device Emily is used to measure temperature thermometer? What
actor played Barbie in the twenty twenty three movie margat Rubby.
If the sun rises in the east, in which direction
does it set wes? What board game uses letter tiles
(14:59):
to score birds? Who hosts The Tonight Show.
Speaker 6 (15:05):
Jimmy Sallen.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
What sports are Venus and Serena Williams best known for tennis?
What country uses yen is its currency in Japan? If
you are on the upside down? What popular TV show
might you be on. What is the only continent without
a desert?
Speaker 7 (15:28):
A desert?
Speaker 3 (15:35):
Uh?
Speaker 7 (15:35):
I guess Europe.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
The Oscars are coming next month. What was the last
movie to win Best Picture?
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (15:43):
My god, does.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
Anybody remember what was the last?
Speaker 4 (15:56):
Just last past Oscars? What? What is it? It's the
name of a girl she was. She's a prostitute who
has one night standing All the time I was ready
to go. I had winning music for you. Way to
Go were like flying through the.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
Crian the best contest we've ever had by far?
Speaker 4 (16:23):
Can I say what I had ready to go for this? Man?
I was this? What I had this ready for you?
Speaker 1 (16:34):
Every time.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
Everybody had all up?
Speaker 1 (16:42):
What am I did not play that for you?
Speaker 4 (16:45):
Oh you meet Emily and Paris actually hear Season five.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
I gotta say I didn't think anybody's gonna get the
only country without a desert. She got it pretty fast.
Speaker 4 (16:58):
I didn't know it was aners in the building. And
then hold on, hold on the lad That was wonderful,
What a wonderful day.
