Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the John Jay and Rich Christmas Wish. It's time
for Christmas Wish. Amanda's in the studio. Good morning, Amanda,
Good morning. Tell us a little bit about Jamie.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Well, Jamie and I have worked together for about three
and a half years, and we have definitely become work besties.
She's a single mom of three amazing kids. But during
the last few years I watched her and the kids
go through a pretty difficult situation which thankfully they've been
able to.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Get through, like a divorce or something, or breakup.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Or relationship, no relationship okay, not positive environment for all
of them, okay. And this is what amazes me about
Jamie is her ability to push through in the midst
of hardship, putting her own needs aside to do what's
best for the kids. And this is just an addition
to her being such a kind, caring person who is
always there to help others and not asking for anything

(00:50):
in return for herself. But I'm really just honored to
call Jamie a friend and watch her be Mom of
the Year. Literally every day.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Where do you guys work, We'll let it work work for.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
On our health.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
We are in purchasing.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Oh is that when you work at on our Health,
are you actually at the hospital one of the hospitals
we are.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Remote most days and then we have like an admin
building that we go to a couple times a week.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
My sister in law as we speak, is it on
our Health right now? John Lincoln one, Okay, I think
we've got to remodel that.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Yeah, we have to rebottle. It seems like a pretty
old hospital purchasing. She's at the.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Ut like they're taking a person out of my sister
in law's room yesterday at the hospital and they're in
a bed and it's like the beds wider than the door,
Like I think ceilings are.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Kind of low. But now the staff is phenomenal.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Absolutely, it's a great team all around.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
On our Health is awesome. So we're okay, well we'll
glide you here.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Let's get her on the phone and see if she
has no idea you're client take good?

Speaker 4 (02:00):
All right, Let's see.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Hello.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Hi is Jamie there? Please? This is Jamie. Hey Jamie,
it's John, Jay and Rich. We're wondering if you will
talk to us on the radio for just a minute.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Please sure you know your friend your coworker, Amanda, I
do she wrote us a letter about you.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
We asked her to come in the studio and read
you the letter. Okay, all right, do you have a
second I do? Okay, Well, whenever you're ready, Amanda.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Okay, good morning Jamie, Hey girl, all right, I said,
dear John, Jay, and Rich, I would like to nominate
my coworker and friend, Jamie. She's a single mother of three,
two preteens and one teenager, and she amazes me every
day with how hard she work to provide for her children.
Despite facing many years of financial strain and personal challenges

(03:05):
that would discourage most people, Jamie gets up each day
determined to give her kids stability. She consistently puts her
own needs last so her children can have a safe home,
meals on the table, and a future to look forward to.
Money is incredibly tight for her, and Christmas is especially tough.
After paying rent, utilities, and basic necessities for three growing kids,

(03:26):
there is very little left for holiday activities, gifts, or
anything extra. Even then, Jamie somehow finds a way to
make her kids feel loved and supported. But I know
how much she quietly sacrifices behind the scenes. Jamie is
one of the most humble and carrying people I've ever known.
She goes out of her way to help coworkers, neighbors,
and friends, and her kids reflect that same resilience and gratitude.

(03:50):
Receiving this Christmas wish would bring so much joy and
relief to Jamie and her kids, and I would love
to see them get an extra special surprise this holiday
sees it. I love you, I.
