John Jay and Rich, you're getting ready for War the Roses.
We got Rose on the line.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Good morning, Rose, Good morning guys.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
So I'm calling in because I'm convinced that my husband
is cheating on me. My friend sent me a pretty
damning photo and I need to know what's going on.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
All right, that's perfect, We'll take it. Let's move on.
War the Roses starts next with John Jay and Rich.
Right the Gonside show got damaged by the boat, so
he dummy. If you get free roses, it's a trap.
War of the Roses starts.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
Right now on John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
John Jay and Rich, It's time for War the Roses.
Good morning, Rose.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Are you a speakerphone? What's your story?

Speaker 5 (00:47):
So?

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I need to do this because I think my husband
is cheating on me. I actually found out you went
on a date with another woman.

Speaker 6 (00:52):
Okay, yeah you think?

Speaker 5 (00:55):
Are you no?

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Right?

Speaker 6 (00:56):
That sounds like a confirmation.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
What do you need the roses for?

Speaker 3 (01:00):
So my friend sent me a picture of them while
she was out with her husband, like sitting together, and
he swears that it wasn't like that. And he's trying
to tell me some story about like what really happened,
but honestly, I'm not buying it.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
What story does he tell you?

Speaker 3 (01:13):
He says, I've blocked I didn't listen to much of it.
I actually blocked him for the last day because I
was kind of tired of hearing his excuses. But basically,
he says that it wasn't a date and it wasn't
what it looks like.

Speaker 6 (01:26):
Did you ask her who it was? Who is that?

Speaker 3 (01:29):
I think I recognized her from like other outings with people,
but they were always outings with people that were never
just the two of them. She was supposed to be
going on a hike with a group.

Speaker 7 (01:38):
Okay, well, definitely not hiking. So at the very least
he lied, right, So we get him.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
On the phone.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
You're gonna listen, and we're going to see where he
sends the flowers to. Does he send him to you Rose,
or does he send them to mystery hiker? Or did
he go hiking with her? Or you said somebody sent
you a picture? Is that what you said?

Speaker 3 (01:55):
My friend sent me a phoe. She was out with
her husband. They were having lunch at a local place,
and yeah, she sent me the photo of just the
two of them sitting together. Awfully close.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
You know what happened. I have a friend of mine.
He was in a relationship with somebody and he was
having sitting outside having a sandwich with a friend, a
friend who's a woman, but it's a friend, and the
girl he was dating, her friend was at a red
light and saw them eating and took a picture and
sent it to his girlfriend, and his girlfriend called him,

(02:27):
yelled at him, and broke up with them without letting
him even explain.

Speaker 7 (02:30):
The story sounds a lot like what maybe happen could be,
although he didn't lie about he said he was hiking
anyone true, not the friend with your.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
But what happens. He broke up with her, And my
friend has a new girlfriend and she's fantastic.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
I mean, that's what usually happens when that kind of
stuff goes on.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
What's your husband's name, Rose, Lewis Lewis, Okay, hold on,
we're gonna get loose on the phone. I'm hoping her
name is Rose and your name is Rose, and you
guys get into a fight and it really will be
a war of the roses. Well not deep, but hilarious,
very exciting war of roses continues.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Next, you're talking about we are in the middle of
War of the Roses.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
You've got Rose who thinks her husband Lewis is cheating
because her friend sent a picture of her husband Louis
with another woman at a lunch or something like that, Right.

Speaker 6 (03:27):
Rose, Yes, that's right.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Okay. And when you confronted him, you didn't let him listen.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
I mean I listened as much as I could.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
You didn't let him speak. You didn't. Yeah, whatever I'm
trying to say. Anyway, Okay, we're gonna get him on
the phone. Are you ready, Colin Fudg?

Speaker 6 (03:41):
I'm ready.

Speaker 8 (03:54):
Hello, Good morning.

Speaker 6 (03:55):
Is Lewis available?

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (03:58):
This is see who's going?

Speaker 4 (03:59):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (04:00):
Hey, So my name's Charlotte. I'm with a new company.
We're called jan R. Flowers.

Speaker 7 (04:03):
We have this really cool social media campaign that you've
been chosen for and it's it's really good for you. So, Lewis,
you get to send our most romantic bouquet of roses
to whoever you want, and it's really free for you.
We just kind of ask in return that you post
about us and whichever social media platform you use the most.

Speaker 8 (04:19):
Oh wow, Well, don't really use a whole lot of
social media these days. But I don't know how useful
PP guys in that way.

Speaker 6 (04:27):
Yeah, no, that's okay.

Speaker 7 (04:28):
They just hand me a list of people to call,
so I'm not really sure. But it really is sort
of just like a word of mouth campaign. So even
if you just tell people out Jay and our flowers,
it works for us. It's marketing things. So that's why
we get to give it to you totally free. I
don't need any personal information from you. I know, in
the back of your head you're like, what's the catch.
I'm not going to ask you for credit card information
or anything like that. I will send the roses out
with like a nice little card, and I always tell

(04:49):
people like, this is your chance to personalize it. They are,
you know, pretty romantic on their own, so they do
send their own message, but it's your chance to you know,
depending on the nature of the relationships, some people get
fun or flirty or you know, sometimes X rated. So
it's totally up to you what you want to write
on the card. Let me know what message you want.
We can actually get them sent out as early as today.
I can get name an address after you give.

Speaker 6 (05:09):
Me that message.

Speaker 8 (05:10):
Yeah, I don't think I'm going to be getting X
rated do people get X.

Speaker 7 (05:13):
Rated, but yeah, it's kind of crazy. That's why I'm like,
I just don't want anyone to feel like shy. I've
really heard it all, trust me. Yeah, So I mean,
whatever you want to whatever you want to write, let
me know right now. I've got the card here, and
then we'll do name address, and like I said, i'll tell.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
You when they're going out.

Speaker 8 (05:28):
Oh yes, sure, this is that. This sounds great. Thank
you guys so much. Yeah, we'll just have it's a.

Speaker 6 (05:36):
I love you, love you endlessly. That's really sweet. That's
one of the sweetest ones I've ever seen.

Speaker 7 (05:42):
Okay, and then and then obviously you want like a
love Lewis or like an xoxo or something like that.

Speaker 8 (05:48):
Oh yeah, of course obviously right two rows.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
Rose should love these. She'll be very excited about.

Speaker 8 (05:57):
Yeah, that's perfect, great that, Thank you guys so much.
There's nothing else.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Okay, Louis, this this still isn't adding up. Okay, I'm
so sorry, Like this isn't adding up. You're on a
date with another girl.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Look, let me tell Louis what's going on. Lewis. You're
on the radio. You're on the John Jay and Rich
radio show. A war of the roses. Rose thinks that
you're cheating on her.

Speaker 8 (06:20):
What rosetun But would you gotta be kidding me? Why
in the world would you think that.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
The picture was clearly just you and this girl out
at a coffee shop.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
Having a date.

Speaker 8 (06:31):
Baby, baby, Okay, all right, just slow down, slow down,
and just listen to me. Okay, I just listen to me.
I did not go on a date with her, all right,
Look all right, Look, so you know how like I
had my regular Sunday hiking group, right, uh huh, yeah,
yeah that Sunday, nobody else showed up but her, and

(06:52):
so we did our hike like we usually do, and
then we went to the coffee shop to get a
drink like we usually do. It just wasn't with the
rest of the group. It was just hers. So yeah,
that's it. That's all that happened.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Yeah, but you got to you gotta know, like how
that looks Lewis like, at least send me a picture.
It's just you tube like that.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
That's a date.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
That feels like a date, especially if you don't know
about it, right Rose, if you don't even know, Hey,
not many people showed up some at the coffee shop.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
I'll be home in twenty that's one thing. But to
not share it at all.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
I'm shocked at you. I'm shocked you feel that way
rich because I feel like usually you would be like, hey,
like he went to do his hiking, he did what
was normal. Hey, it's all right to not check until after,
but like me on that and like I would be livid,
Like yeah, it might be innocent, but at least shoot
me a text and let me know what's going on
so I'm not caught off guard.

Speaker 7 (07:42):
Also, it's kind of just like a weird situation. Do
you even end up going on the hike at that point?

Speaker 2 (07:48):
What do you say to the girl, Hey, I can't.

Speaker 7 (07:50):
Hike with you, nobody else is here, Let's just scrap it,
you know. But then to go on it does kind
of become a date, and that in that sense, it's
not it was not intentional, It wasn't playing buy that,
but then afterwards to decide to go to coffee too,
it's like that you enjoyed yourself.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
But if you do that every Sunday with a big
group of people, you do it every Sunday, and then
just a bunch of people know shows so just you
and somebody of the opposite sex.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
You know, it could be totally innocent, but I mean
it sounds to me like it was innocent.

Speaker 6 (08:17):
But yeah, yeah, the optics not good.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
But I can.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Feel for the guy because then let's say that girl
is completely uninterested in him and he's and she's like,
you don't want to hike?

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Now?

Speaker 2 (08:28):
What do you mean? Like, I'm married, I have kids,
Like what do you why can't we go hike together?

Speaker 5 (08:32):
What do you stop? And you call your wife and
you let her know what's about.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
To go down, and then your wife says, no, you go,
my wife will let me hike that.

Speaker 7 (08:39):
Yeah, because then what happens Then you're like, oh, we
did this thing together and oh we have so much
in common, and then that could lead to, you know,
the not good thing that we thought was happening that
hadn't happened yet but could happen.

Speaker 6 (08:52):
Down the road.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
I'd be like, we already had sex, We just want
to go hiking.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
No, No, I wrong, all no, just know what she
should be happy for my cardia.

Speaker 7 (09:06):
I think the point is there should have been more
communication about it, and that could have reduced what it
looks like because like I said, the objects aren't here.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
You should go back and look at it.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
But when you're living in it and it's happening right
in front of you, and you're like, oh god, what
do I do?

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Oh God, what do I do?

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Like that's why I can I kind of feel for
the guy, Like I don't think there's any found play.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
I think it was just a it's you're in it.

Speaker 5 (09:27):
I just feel for Rose because I can only imagine
like the pit in her stomach when she got that
text from her friend, Like you really think that the
person that you're going to sleep with every single eye
is just taking it up with some girl, Like that's
a terrible.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Fail Ueah, why didn't this friend walk up and go hello, Lewis?
I was like, oh, hey's we're supposed to go hiking.
Everybody canceled anyway, Lewis your.

Speaker 8 (09:47):
Thoughts in the moment, Like I wasn't like, it's just
it's just my routine, that's just what we do. It
just there tends to be like you know, five to
seven more people that are out with it. But look,
I understand where you're coming from. I understand that you
know how it looks, But I mean, I look I
promise you not a date. And I you know what,

(10:09):
maybe I hated that this is how you how you
found out about the two of us being there together,
but like, you're right. I mean I could have just
headed all this off, but just being more communicative about it,
and as soon as I got home told you and
it was just you're right, You're right, baby, I'm sorry.

Speaker 7 (10:30):
I mean, it's not defensive about it, which is a
good sign. And I think that you can use the
situation and learn from it so something like this doesn't
happen again.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
Yeah, yeah, I love the Lewis.

Speaker 8 (10:42):
I do believe you.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
I just I've been sitting in a hotel for two
days thinking the worst, and yeah, I guess I just
needed a little I need some reassurance, to be honest,
because this whole thing really scared me. I was ready
to jump ship.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Well, thanks for bringing it to us and we solved
the problem. So thank you both for being on the
air with us.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Thank by communication at all levels. War the Rosses, Junda
