Speaker 4 (00:27):
It's John Jay and Rich. It is November already, so crazy.
How time flies? I mean, it's a whole different vibe,
a different season. We all feel different, amazing. We want
to hear from you eight seven seven nine three seven
one oh four seven text us, text jj R whatever
you want to say in nine six eight ninety three,
tell us about you weekend, tells about your Halloween, all
(00:48):
kinds of crazy stuff, especially they're any weird Halloween hookups.
We always want to get into that. One of my
favorite things to do is whenever I see Kyle's husband
post a video on Instagram, I immediately jump to it.
But I feel this video could be one of those
videos that goes is trending and is like all over
the news. Really, I can feel like you're good morning
America today in Arizona.
Speaker 6 (01:08):
This household this like what explain this story?
Speaker 7 (01:11):
Okay, So as a mom, I feel like my kids
never hear me. I have to say things ten twenty
times before I get a response, and sometimes it gets frustrating.
But I don't want to lose my cool, so I
go into like yelling voice. Right, It's just what I do.
My kids think it's hilarious, and I feel like it
actually finally makes them hear what I'm saying. So this
(01:32):
happened the other night where I was trying to plug
in ADDIE's switch and get her attention, and the yelling
thing happened, and then Scott decided to pull it up
from our security footage and then post it for the
world to see. Kay, where.
Speaker 8 (01:56):
Where do you want your child?
Speaker 9 (01:57):
It?
Speaker 10 (01:59):
Where your I know.
Speaker 7 (02:25):
Then they're copying.
Speaker 11 (02:27):
At the end of it, it's like, do you do
said yelling voice so you don't lose your mind?
Speaker 7 (02:32):
Yeah, because it's like I gotta just joke about it
because like I'm I'm screaming this and you still don't
hear me.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
What's funny about that is that there's people in real
life that that's not They're not trying to be funny.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
That's how that's how they put an Italian family. It's
all my grandparents get to talk to each other. They're
standing right next to each other. Why are you guys killing?
That's the way we talk.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
I used to do this thing to my mom when
she would ask me something, just like exactly what you're
doing with Addie. My mom would ask something and I
didn't want to tell your spond and I'd literally would
do this.
Speaker 6 (03:00):
This is exactly If my mom would go, wait, where's the.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Day to blugget switch, I'd be like, hey, mama, Jean
Bett said Mona.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
I would just say nonsense and she'd be like, and
she just it was fine, like she didn't. Then much
later she'd come back and follow up and I go,
I don't know. She just needed a response. It would
have to be a coherent response, and she just accepted it.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
But can we put the video up on our Instagram card?
Speaker 4 (03:25):
It's funny to hear, but it's funnier when you see
it and here it at the same time.
Speaker 6 (03:28):
It's really I laughed out loud watching it.
Speaker 7 (03:31):
Just a typical day in her house.
Speaker 6 (03:32):
It's a great what happened to you, rich with your
giant teeth?
Speaker 3 (03:35):
What I wrote down this compliment my Dennis gave me
because I think it's worth sharing. I went to go
get my teeth cleaned and by Dennis said something I've
never heard before. So I wrote it down and I
want to share it with you guys, because I shared
it with my wife, who thought it was just lovely.
No cavities.
Speaker 7 (03:52):
First of all, that's great.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
And he said, I really like your gum care. In fact, Richard,
your gums are a thing of joy. Wow, your dentists.
So let me just tell you. It's the water pic
that's what does it.
Speaker 7 (04:05):
Says, It's not I have those too.
Speaker 11 (04:09):
My grandma brushes her teeth, no joke, probably three times
a day, and she's always walking around with like the
little picks.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
Yeah, and she told me.
Speaker 11 (04:14):
She said, the best advice my dentist has ever given
me is to floss.
Speaker 8 (04:18):
The teeth that you want to keep.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Floss the teeth that you want to keep.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
Yep, huh, yes.
Speaker 8 (04:23):
Take that and share that with your ghist.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
And yeah, Dennis is pretty judging. I've heard of say
some things to people in other rooms before.
Speaker 7 (04:29):
But your gums are a joy.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
Your guns are a thing of joy. I think you
need to walk around with that and just you know, rejoice.
Speaker 7 (04:37):
Yeah yeah, I saw you walking with a little extra cup.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
In your stuff.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
My dentist said to me, can I see you in
six months. That's the nicest thing my dentist has ever said.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
I think that's the key too, is in every six
month cleaning. You know, you can't just go every year.
You got to go every six months.
Speaker 6 (04:53):
They amped me up. They go every four months now.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
Really, oh four months.
Speaker 4 (04:57):
I was complaining about something and they were like, well,
I need to save it for four months seven.
Speaker 3 (05:01):
I like it when they're like, we barely need to
scrape you today. I'm like, thank god, because that's bad.
The heavy you know, when they really got.
Speaker 8 (05:06):
To like when they do the deep clean.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Oh I don't like that at all.
Speaker 7 (05:09):
I don't, But then it feels good afterwards. You like
rub you know, your like tongue across your your teeth
and it's like real smooth.
Speaker 8 (05:14):
Yeah, totally.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
You know what we said. He's like, you know what,
normally fluoride's non insurance. That's an extra twenty five bucks
for you today.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Oh he hooked you up on the house.
Speaker 6 (05:24):
All right, good stuff, man, All right? Shoots a text
text jg R.
Speaker 4 (05:27):

a Scorpion and you share a birthday with Colin Kaepernick,
Anna Wintour and Kendall Jenner eight.
Speaker 6 (05:55):
Seven seven nine three seven seven.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Andrea Andrea, Hello Andrea, Hi, how are you guys?
Speaker 12 (06:01):
Hey?
Speaker 6 (06:01):
What's your sign?
Speaker 13 (06:03):
I am a Capricorn?
Speaker 8 (06:05):
Okay, so Capricorns.
Speaker 11 (06:06):
November wants you to stop working like you're being chased,
slow down, celebrate the progress, and touch some grass or
at least a pumpkin spice latte or something like that.
But good things are coming for you in the month
of November.
Speaker 13 (06:19):
Oh good, I need to hear that. That's perfect good
I got you. Thank you guys so much. I truly
appreciate it.
Speaker 6 (06:25):
Where are you from, Andrea? I hear the l accent,
I can't place it.
Speaker 13 (06:29):
I am from Boston, but I live in Well, I
live in Green Valley right now, a little bit from Tucson,
Green Valley.
Speaker 6 (06:35):
What are you one hundred?
Speaker 13 (06:37):
I know, I know it's horrible, but but it's actually
I mean, it's peaceful around here. So I'll take that.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
You can take dinner at three pm. It's nice.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
You don't really get to hear Boston access a lot.
Speaker 6 (06:50):
Well, thank you for listening.
Speaker 13 (06:53):
Oh, thank you guys so much.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
Andrea, all right, love you, bye bye, you too. Hi, Candy,
what's your sign?
Speaker 14 (07:00):
Cancer?
Speaker 11 (07:01):
Okay, so cancers. This month is about emotional upgrades. You're
learning who actually deserves your soft side. So there's gonna
be some less crying in your car and maybe more
laughing in your hoodie with some good people for the
month of November. So I'll get things for you guys
as well.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Sweet, I need that.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
Yes, thanks Candy, thank you. How about for pisces?
Speaker 11 (07:22):
Yeah, Rich, November is your main character in a cozy
movie era, so you're gonna have a lot of love,
or and intuition that are gonna be vibing with you again.
But don't let a nostalgia trick you into texting someone
that you already cried over ten times.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
Also, November, that's when they start putting on the Hallmark
Christmas movies, which is the ultimate cozy vibe exactly.
Speaker 11 (07:43):
How about Leo's Yeah, Leo's November wants us Leo's to
win loudly, big opportunities, big attention, and yes, big.
Speaker 8 (07:51):
Drama if we are not careful.
Speaker 11 (07:52):
So you just have to remember to stay humble, but
make sure everyone still claps for us.
Speaker 8 (07:56):
How do you do that? I don't know?
Speaker 1 (07:59):
How about there goes John J.
Speaker 11 (08:01):
November is about release for you, not control. You're realizing
you can't spreadsheet your way through your emotion, so just
let let things flow and the universe is editing your
life to be better than you can.
Speaker 6 (08:11):
That's great, I'll take it.
Speaker 11 (08:12):
How about for libras, yeh, Kyle, this month balance finally
is gonna find you. You've been stretched thin, but November
is bringing people who pour into you right back.
Speaker 8 (08:20):
So flirt a little, sleep a lot, and then repeat.
Speaker 7 (08:23):
That would like to sleep part That sounds lovels.
Speaker 6 (08:26):
All right, if we can get to your sign.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
They're all posted on our website right now at Johnjynrich
dot com.
Speaker 6 (08:35):
It's beautiful John Jay and Rich. I think we all
hear on this show.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
Try to be healthy, right, I mean I try to,
I really, really truly try to be healthy, and then
I just give in so much to simple simple peer pressure,
like I make an excuse on my head, that'll be okay.
Like the other day, I went with my wife, think
we get ice cream. I don't want to have ice cream.
I don't want to eat the ice cream. But I'm like, oh,
it's okay, I'm gonna I'm gonna die on next week
(09:00):
ice cream.
Speaker 7 (09:00):
Right, there's a lot of negotiating, negotiating.
Speaker 8 (09:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
Well, someone asked the internet, what's actually healthy despite most
people thinking it's not healthy.
Speaker 6 (09:09):
Well, this is actually is healthy.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
I would like to hear that.
Speaker 6 (09:12):
Now, these are people's opinions.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
For example, someone said telling people to f off or
just avoiding talks of people is very healthy.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
But that's not delicious.
Speaker 8 (09:20):
Sometimes it is. It depends who you're telling a hell.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
And off, like sleeping according to your body's needs, not
according to societal norms.
Speaker 8 (09:28):
Oh, so this isn't like food healthy?
Speaker 4 (09:30):
No, I would you telling you for me? Ice cream
was tough because I'm trying not to eat ice cream.
Playing video games is healthy. It says it can be
a problem like any other fun thing, but for a
lot of people, it's a great outlet.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Right.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
I've even heard sorry, no, go, go go.
Speaker 6 (09:44):
I've heard sorry.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
I've even heard surgeons that have played video games are
way more accurate at doing surgery if they play video
games like their whole lives, that they're way more precise.
Speaker 8 (09:54):
Oh, I can see that. That's kind of cool.
Speaker 11 (09:56):
I'm curious if there's like, uh something with like social
like going and hanging out, maybe having a bedverager too,
because those are good for your soul.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Sometimes you can add that to the list. If it's
not on here, I'm going up from the bottom. It
says arguing in relationships is healthy. Not arguing constantly, but
some arguing is healthy if you hold everything into breeds resentment,
which is the death of every relationship. Hamburgers are healthy.
The unhealthiest part of the hamburger is the bun. Everything
else is pretty solid. Okay, popcorn, this has got me
(10:25):
so excited. Popcorn is healthy, very high in fiber and polypheniales,
and it has a lot of benefits. But you gotta
be careful not to covered oil, butter, salt, and powdered cheese.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
That's okay, it's still delicious.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
Potatoes they get a bad rap because it usually prepped
with a lot of oil and butter. But if you roast, bake,
or fry or broil them or boil them, they're quite
possibly the healthiest start your carb you can eat. Carbs
are good for you. People demonize carbs, but they're good
for you. Whole grains and fruits are literally fuel for
your brain. Eggs some people still act like eating eggs
is just a daily cholesterol bomb, but they're super nutrient
(11:00):
and dent nutrient dents, salt and fat and sugar, it.
Speaker 6 (11:03):
Says are good for you. Frozen vegetables are good for you.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
A lot of veggies are frozen within hours of being picked,
which locks in their nutrients. Taking breaks when you feel
unproductive it isn't lazy. It can be a reset. Others
mentioned midday naps which could be revitalizing and energizing, and
the number one thing they say is healthy to do
is daydreaming. It could be a form of focusing and meditation.
(11:27):
If you day dream I shall live forever. Then so
there you get some healthy habits. If you've got some
other healthy things that aren't typically healthy, shoot us a
text text JJR and you're a healthy tip.
Speaker 6 (11:37):
To nine six eight ninety three.
Speaker 8 (11:40):
You come for John Jay and Rich, but let's be honest,
you stay.
Speaker 15 (11:43):
For Kyle and Payton.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
John Jay and Rich live on the three iHeartRadio app.
Good morning, Brin morning.
Speaker 6 (11:49):
What's up?
Speaker 15 (11:52):
Hi?
Speaker 16 (11:53):
So I have a question I'm hoping you can help
me with.
Speaker 6 (11:57):
Yeah, that's what we've been doing lately. Give an advice.
I love it.
Speaker 16 (12:01):
Oh wonderful, Thank you.
Speaker 9 (12:03):
So I'm pretty young, but I applied.
Speaker 16 (12:07):
Anyway for a leadership role at works, and definitely, like
some of the higher ups, they were worried I wasn't
serious enough. But I got it anyway, and I'm really excited.
And so this has been my first week on the job,
and so I thought I wanted to I wanted to
do something to build team spirit. So I took everyone
(12:30):
out for karaoke on Tuesday. And now half the.
Speaker 9 (12:36):
Team called out sick and the other half is here
and nobody has me voices, and the higher ups called
a meeting that starts in twenty minutes, and I just
need some words of encouragement.
Speaker 13 (12:49):
I'm so nervous, so I tired.
Speaker 11 (12:54):
Did you guys just have like one too many cocktails
ontarioke night? Is that why everyone's kind of out for
the count?
Speaker 16 (13:02):
Definitely? Yeah, Like it was a great event. Everyone had
a really good time, and I just didn't think like
everyone was gonna be like hungover.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
So management and other people are like, oh, Brinn is
not mature enough yet for this role.
Speaker 6 (13:18):
She's not serious enough.
Speaker 4 (13:19):
You take the role, and your first thing you do
is get everybody hammered, right.
Speaker 16 (13:24):
Oh god, it sounds so bad when you say it
that way.
Speaker 6 (13:27):
Right, But I get what you're doing because you're doing
a schwanding.
Speaker 4 (13:30):
You're getting building building camaraderie, right, And.
Speaker 11 (13:33):
It's kind of on them for not being able to
handle the liquor, Like, get your stuff together and get
to work in the morning, dude.
Speaker 6 (13:39):
It on a Friday, though.
Speaker 7 (13:40):
I was just gonna say, when you go in there,
you should say, in hindsight, you know, I probably should
have done this on a Friday where there wasn't a
work day the next day. And then you got to
whip out all these stats on what like bonding with
the team does for production, how how this will actually
end up being a good thing. Our production is going
to go up as seventy two percent of people that
(14:01):
engage in in bonding for the team work harder for
the team.
Speaker 3 (14:05):
But still if your brain, she's like, we can't do
anything nice because people take advantage and they call in
the next day. If you're get a party, you better
get ready to come into work.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
You also do they're calling you into the meeting. They
might just say, uh, how come we didn't invite us?
Speaker 1 (14:17):
True, I can totally.
Speaker 16 (14:20):
Invite them next time.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
Invite them next time, and then tell them that you
can expense it.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
Yeah, what if it's a that's carry okay, then we're
gonna roll it out nationwide. It's the best bonding we've
ever seen in the company.
Speaker 8 (14:31):
That that would be positive thinking.
Speaker 11 (14:33):
Yeah, she's like, I think you should just take everything
Kyle said, put it into chat GPT and print it
out right.
Speaker 7 (14:38):
I just put it in there for you twenty one
percent more profitability. Team building and bonding promos can reduce
turnover by twenty five to thirty percent better job satisfaction,
better morale, improved collaboration and communication. Listen, what I'm doing
for this company is revolutionary. They jump on board.
Speaker 5 (14:54):
Yeah, can you see them?
Speaker 6 (14:55):
Wait to see the numbers next week. Okay, you just
wait till we see those numbers.
Speaker 7 (15:00):
Investment the ROI on this is going to be big.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
Yes, I just wrote, all.
Speaker 6 (15:06):
Right, well, good luck, Brandon, thanks for listening.
Speaker 9 (15:09):
Oh, thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
There is a video going viral on TikTok which I've
actually brought up this theory on our radio show before,
and I've been tested and I've tested it and my
wife has passed and I have passed.
Speaker 6 (15:24):
It's the bird theory. You guys familiar with a bird theory?
Speaker 17 (15:28):
No?
Speaker 4 (15:28):
Yes, it is all over TikTok right now. That's supposed
to show how your partner is. And this is here
somebody explaining it.
Speaker 5 (15:35):
What is the bird theory?
Speaker 18 (15:36):
The theory is going super viral on TikTok right now
because apparently you can tell how strong relationship is by
testing it out. The way you could test the theory
is with a very simple prompt of I saw a
bird today, And if your spouse turns to you and
starts asking questions about the bird.
Speaker 8 (15:48):
That means your relationship's in good standing.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
Also, one of the tests was is that you say, oh,
look at this bird, And if they go and they
look at the bird, that means that they're good people.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
You've done that to us, I've done it to you guys.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
That's right, that's right. Oh my god. And I can't remember.
Some of you passed, some of you did not. I
passed Noah, Rich, Peyton, Nick, Kyle. I quizzed all of
you today today, and only Kyle passed.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
I'm going to go.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
Over the quiz with you guys, and and and everybody
could take this test and you can tell if the
person in your life is really going to be your
friend for the long haul or not.
Speaker 6 (16:27):
It's called the bird test.
Speaker 4 (16:29):
This morning, I went into that back room where Noah
is and it was Noah, Kyle and Nick, and I said, oh.
Speaker 6 (16:36):
Man, there's an owl outside. You guys see that owl?
Speaker 4 (16:38):
And Kyle turned her head and looked and was like
owl and they should it back to her computer.
Speaker 6 (16:42):
She was working, she was working, and she took Noah
didn't flinch.
Speaker 4 (16:45):
Nick didn't say okay, now down the hallway. Walking down
the hallway, Grant and Nick are both walking towards me.
Nick is whistling. He's a happy guy. Would you guys
see that hawk? There's that hawk outside? And Nick just
kept whistling, didn't even acknowledge me. Grant goes, hawk, I
didn't see a hawk in here? I said to you guys,
(17:07):
you see that hawk outside? Rich didn't move. Kyle got up,
looked out the window where I don't see a hawk?
Speaker 6 (17:13):
Huther and the Peyton kind of went hawk.
Speaker 8 (17:16):
I said a hawk? Is it circling? Because that's what
hawks do when they see their.
Speaker 7 (17:20):
Did say that conversation exactly?
Speaker 1 (17:24):
What kind of friend of you?
Speaker 4 (17:25):
Yeah, you're trying to go through show stuff in that room.
Speaker 12 (17:28):
When you had that question this morning, and.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
I'm like, damn it, John Jay, I don't.
Speaker 17 (17:32):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
I don't need to know if there's a bird out
to get through it. And then as I'm whistling down
the hallway, I hear you go. You you guys see
the hawk earlier today? And I was like, what is
this bird?
Speaker 4 (17:49):
If you would have said those things to me instead
of think those things, you probably would be friends for
a long time.
Speaker 6 (17:55):
So here's some couples trying to bird theory.
Speaker 16 (17:57):
Maybe I saw a bird today.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
I just saw pretty blue bird.
Speaker 13 (18:06):
Yeah, it was like, I don't know, it was pretty though,
and I really liked it and I flew around the house.
Speaker 8 (18:13):
But I just thought it was pretty.
Speaker 7 (18:15):
I wanted to tell you I saw a bird yesterday.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
Did you see I saw a bird yesterday? A bird? Yeah,
I saw like a bird.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
I think that's the response i'd get for sure.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (18:30):
I feel like sometimes these tests are flawed because, like
in my situation, I do most of the talking. If
I were to go, hey, Kadim, I saw a bird,
he would say okay, and that would be.
Speaker 6 (18:41):
According to this three, that's not good.
Speaker 8 (18:43):
I think Zach Berry might just have golden retriever boyfriends.
Maybe I don't know. Mine kind of gives like evil cats.
Speaker 3 (18:51):
And if you said that to Stacy Ever, Hey, I
saw a brigidation. But I'm working.
Speaker 7 (18:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (18:57):
A truck overturned in Mississippi.
Speaker 4 (19:00):
This is crazy story allowing the release of aggressive monkeys.
There were experiment monkeys from Tulane Universities. Authorities believe one
is still on the loose. Here is some of the
call made to the emergency services after the truck crash.
Speaker 6 (19:13):
It released the monkeys.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
Got Home Run the New two last something right here
and minute.
Speaker 6 (19:22):
The rumor was that the monkeys were infected with bunches.
Speaker 7 (19:24):
Of the disease.
Speaker 11 (19:27):
It was heres and COVID I think was, but then
the tulane said that's not true.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
Sure right, well they should say that, but that's probably
not the case.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
Last week I was playing for you guys, a bunch
of AI music got another song that's starting to go viral.
Speaker 6 (19:42):
It's another remake. It's AI.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
This is not real and it sounds like Jelly Roll
or Chris Stapleton doing in the Air Tonight and it
is so good, but it is not real and it's
starting to go really viral.
Speaker 5 (20:05):
Hold on, believe me, how.
Speaker 6 (20:18):
This is not a real.
Speaker 7 (20:19):
Person needs to make that song. As you know how
Fast Car did for what was that Morgan everything Luke Yeah,
comes okay, that was so huge, but you know.
Speaker 6 (20:28):
What Fast Car did for Morgan Wallen.
Speaker 7 (20:30):
But Chris Country sorry, Christison.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
Has a version of in the Air Tonight. It plays
on Monday Night Football because like Snoop Jog and no,
that's cool. But I don't know if they do all
this part or not.
Speaker 5 (20:45):
I know if you know who.
Speaker 4 (20:49):
They don't do that part there. Thanks for ever, that's
pretty cool. Do you have for life as rich?
Speaker 3 (20:53):
All right, so it is now the holiday season. Are
you decorating for Halloween yet, Kyle Halloween? I'm sorry, Halloween
happened Thanksgiving? Thanksgiving? How are you decorating for Thanksgiving yet?
Speaker 8 (21:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (21:04):
So, I think usually what I do is I just
take a little bit of the Halloween decorations out, but
then I keep the rest of the fall stuff up.
So I don't do specific Thanksgiving stuff except for on
the door, I change from Halloween to like harvest.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
Well, so if you got any Halloween candles, they say
they are now your Thanksgiving candles. Here's what you do.
You just grab them all, get a coffee mug or
like what what they call those things, the glass jars,
the mason jars, dump them in there, hit them with
the hair dryer for thirty seconds. In boom, they are
now a holiday candle. If you want to dress it
up with a little hay around there, or you know,
(21:36):
keep your pumpkins and dress it around there, it is
now your Thanksgiving decor. That's right. We're doing decor tips
for stacks and hacks that hack of anymore can be
found at John jayand Rich dot com.
Speaker 6 (21:47):
Why you always in Moon.
Speaker 5 (21:51):
Play car.
Speaker 6 (21:57):
Jountain Rich Time for the drunk Dial launch.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
This is where we play voicemail message you've left us
on the drug line which is six two eight eight
eight nineteen thirty three, or talkbacks, which is a little
red microphone on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 17 (22:12):
Hey, so I met the text want to come over.
Speaker 13 (22:16):
To my situationship, but.
Speaker 17 (22:21):
Accidentally sent it to my female boss. And she's a female,
middle aged boss, but I send it there because she
has the same.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
Name and she.
Speaker 17 (22:33):
Replied wrong number, and I think I need to move
out of the country.
Speaker 7 (22:41):
I'm not a mistake you want to make. I was thinking.
She was like yes, and then he's like oh, and
now I'm in a real pickle.
Speaker 6 (22:48):
They just do it.
Speaker 5 (22:49):
Yeah, Hey, what's that Donda?
Speaker 19 (22:50):
It is?
Speaker 2 (22:51):
You know it's o o'clock.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
Whichever.
Speaker 17 (22:58):
There's a Lacroix always gis.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
Have you seen that clip that's floating around from I
think it's The Real Housewives where it's them saying yeah,
yes and her husband and they're talking about so.
Speaker 14 (23:19):
Basically, last night I went out and hung out and
I was trying to find my phone. I was like
freaking out because I had to call it uber to
go home. And then I realized, like after ten minutes,
if I'm going through my purse that I had been
using my phone slash light.
Speaker 7 (23:37):
Fine, that's so relatable.
Speaker 8 (23:43):
Okay, so I'm a few days behind, like a week.
Speaker 14 (23:47):
But when you guys were talking about the Ed Dean.
Speaker 20 (23:52):
Lizzie Borden crossover.
Speaker 16 (23:54):
I am just screaming into the phone, like where is
greened formally formally employee Grant.
Speaker 8 (24:01):
He would have all of the answers.
Speaker 15 (24:04):
He would he would know everything and how all of
this type together?
Speaker 20 (24:08):
God, I miss Grant.
Speaker 8 (24:09):
Hey bye, we too.
Speaker 15 (24:13):
So I met this girl in the bathroom tonight morning
was like actually or Amanda.
Speaker 14 (24:20):
It was starting with an A, and she said we're
gonna start a podcast together.
Speaker 11 (24:25):
We're like yes, girl, you know you need to grow
back and we're like, yes, I'm gonna start a.
Speaker 9 (24:29):
Podcast called Girls Sip Writing Girls.
Speaker 14 (24:32):
But I didn't get her info. If you're listening, give.
Speaker 11 (24:38):
Hit me up, girl, I really want to start that podcast.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
Tonight was fun.
Speaker 14 (24:47):
I get some cigarette.
Speaker 4 (24:49):
Oh my god, that's really really take advantage of the
drunk outline eight eight eight, you know six or two
eighty eight, nineteen thirty three.
Speaker 6 (24:58):
I would listen to that podcast for a little bit,
I think for sure.
Speaker 15 (25:02):
Yeah, I got a story for you. So I went
out last night and got a little two waisted and
went to the McDonald's afterwards, just to you know, get
some sustenance. And I, for some reason, was incredibly emotional
in the drive through because I just I needed fries
more than anything apparently, and like made a whole scene and.
Speaker 13 (25:28):
Was begging the guy.
Speaker 15 (25:29):
For fries and he goes, man, there's just a dollar,
and being drunk, I embarrassingly realized and out of shame
tipped him five dollars because I was on another planet,
and then was completely embarrassed.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
So yeah, oh you know what I really thought. I've never
tipped anybody through the drive through? Have they ever done
that before? She handed I've never done.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
On the other tipped like Starbucks or anything like that
where they have the little option to take never seen it.
No where do you see the option to tip on
the drive through Starbucks. Sometimes they hand you the little thing.
If you're paid with a you know, your Apple pay
or whatever, it'll say.
Speaker 6 (26:09):
Oh, I just hold my phone out and they go peep.
Speaker 8 (26:11):
They skin your app.
Speaker 4 (26:12):
But McDonald's or something like that. I've never thought about that.
I know that's not the concept of what she was
talking about. She was talking more about how she was
crying about French fries, but she felt guilty gave fight
on her tip part to sit out with me. It
was like tipping the drive through. I'm gonna do that
from now on next time I got a McDonald's. Anyway,
what you want to do is leave us a message
on the drunk down line six two eight eight eight
nineteen thirty three, or a talkback which is on the
(26:35):
iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
It's free.
Speaker 4 (26:36):
Just tap the microphone. It's John Jaye Rich, John jay
and Rich. When was the last time somebody here went
to a bar?
Speaker 3 (26:45):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (26:45):
Yesterday Saturday?
Speaker 1 (26:48):
You were at a bar Saturday?
Speaker 2 (26:49):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Where were you?
Speaker 3 (26:50):
I went to go pick up Stacey and whatever her
friends that were, you know, having some drinking poos and
they got a little a little buzzed. Oh really yeah?
Speaker 4 (26:58):
And then I was at a bar there. I remember
I told you that train bar. I'm excited to can
participate in this. And Payton, you were at a bar
when last night? And Kylins, last time.
Speaker 7 (27:06):
You at a bar couldn't tell you.
Speaker 4 (27:09):
Well, someone asks bartenders to name the top signs that
you just walked into a bad bar, red flags at
the bar.
Speaker 6 (27:18):
What do you guys think that I can.
Speaker 3 (27:19):
Tell you when it smells like a dirty like washcloth?
Speaker 6 (27:22):
Ye, dirty wash cloth?
Speaker 3 (27:25):
Because you want to you assume it's gonna smell like beer,
bad music.
Speaker 4 (27:29):
Well, I guess Richard, you'res my fallow to the number
one reason, which is a lack of cleanliness and organization
that includes dirty glassware, dusty bottles on shelves. A sticky
bar can be a sign of the whole clean they
You can't even wipe the bar down. There's so much,
not a lot of cleaning. They've got too many signature cocktails.
Is one to too many is a sign that none
(27:50):
of them are very good?
Speaker 8 (27:51):
True?
Speaker 4 (27:52):
No one says hi, even if it's a hole the wall.
The bartender should greet you when you walk in, even
it's just a smiler or no.
Speaker 11 (27:57):
That should just be anywhere in public, because I'm the
kind to turn around and walk back out.
Speaker 4 (28:01):
The bartender has an ego like they most mostly make
gin and tonics, but insist their mixologists even if they
are an expert hospitality should be should comfort.
Speaker 11 (28:11):
What about like turning their nose up to like what
the customer orders, because that happens to me often it does,
Like what do you order like a vodka water? And
they're like, you know, why would you order that?
Speaker 8 (28:19):
I'm like, just give it to.
Speaker 7 (28:19):
Why are you judging?
Speaker 8 (28:21):
Just give it to me with extra lines place.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
I would say. Also, if you only have like Mazza
realistics on your menu for bar, throw together a burger.
Speaker 6 (28:28):
A general lack of knowledge.
Speaker 4 (28:30):
At the other end of the spectrum, they should have
some basic skills. If they have to look up how
to make an old fashion, you're probably not at a
great bar, right.
Speaker 6 (28:39):
All those take out of there more you would add
to this list.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
Dirty bathroom, that's bad.
Speaker 11 (28:46):
I mean that's everywhere. I don't think you can get
it get away with not having well, those are the
times unless you go to like a super foofy bar
like your platform eteam place that you're into. I'm just
going to Champs in town to place.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
Kill.
Speaker 4 (29:02):
If there's other clues that you're at ugly bad bars,
shoots a text text jj R in your clue your
tip to nine six eight ninety three.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
Somebody.
Speaker 19 (29:10):
He said they saw you that.
Speaker 8 (29:16):
I can say.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
You gotta do your thing.
Speaker 4 (29:20):
Don't come back to me.
Speaker 6 (29:23):
John Jane Rich.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
We're about two minutes away from the Disney giveaway.
Speaker 6 (29:27):
Two minutes.
Speaker 4 (29:30):

we give everything to donate. We give to all the
dog rescues. Love Pop doesn't take anything. We give to
all the other dog rescues that are there. Now we
(30:16):
are one minute away.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
Guys, this is very exciting, don't get it away.
Speaker 4 (30:22):
So January twenty twenty five, my New Year's resolution was
to hit ten thousand steps a day, right, And it
was so hard to hit ten thousand steps a day,
but I started got to the point where I was
doing it, and I was like, okay, I was I
made time in my day.
Speaker 6 (30:38):
A couple of days ago, I was like, what if
I get twenty thousand steps.
Speaker 7 (30:41):
A day, that's an insane munt of steps, absolutely insane.
Speaker 4 (30:45):
I was able to hit twenty one thousand steps yesterday,
Oh wow, but it took up the whole day.
Speaker 3 (30:52):
Like you have to walk every literally everywhere there.
Speaker 6 (30:55):
Where you parked far away.
Speaker 4 (30:56):
I went hiking in the morning and then I got
into the treadmill and they were like ready to go
to battles at seventeen thousand, I'm like, no, I got it.
Speaker 3 (31:04):
I think if you do any kind of hike at all,
you're kind of you're done for the day.
Speaker 6 (31:07):
You were good. Oh I was hurt. So here's what
my plan was.
Speaker 4 (31:11):
So I'm getting ready for my twenty twenty six New
Year's resolution, which I thought would be I'm gonna hit
twenty thousand steps a day, but I can't. But I
think my resolution, I'm still modifying it is gonna be
twenty thousand steps at least one day a week.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
Interesting, see, I think you could frontload that to the
weekend or could you just add them all up to
be twenty thousan Oh.
Speaker 6 (31:31):
It's gotta be one day.
Speaker 7 (31:32):
Like collectively, if you did ten thousand steps a day
during the week, that's fifty thousand, and then you get
like thirty thousand on the weekends.
Speaker 4 (31:39):
You could do like fifty. It's gotta be one day
where I get twenty thousand. That's that's gonna be the
goal for twenty twenty six. But it's so hard. And
then I follow a couple of people that are like
athletes and runners, and these people that run marathons.
Speaker 6 (31:50):
So these people they get like hundreds of thousands of
steps in a day.
Speaker 3 (31:54):
Well, that's crazy talk the marathon runners, especially when you
because we've done can we do a marathon to go?
We did half Mariland? God, we did have walked and
then we got a riot.
Speaker 6 (32:03):
I think it happened.
Speaker 3 (32:05):
But it's like the people that pre run before they run,
It's like, come on, what are you? What are you
pre running for? They love to run.
Speaker 4 (32:12):
Anyway twenty one thousand steps and I posted I was
so happy.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
I congratulations.
Speaker 6 (32:17):
I'm allowing.
Speaker 4 (32:17):
I'll be doing some interviews later today with any sports stations,
talk about how did.
Speaker 6 (32:21):
You do it?
Speaker 12 (32:22):
Anyway?
Speaker 4 (32:22):

Speaker 20 (33:47):

Speaker 6 (33:55):
Where do you work? Where do you work?
Speaker 9 (33:57):
I work at a school.
Speaker 6 (33:58):
What's school?
Speaker 14 (34:00):
Southwest Education?
Speaker 4 (34:02):
All right, so Ava, we're looking for three magic words.
Speaker 21 (34:08):
Okay, I have Anna, I have Reindeer.
Speaker 1 (34:12):

four three.
Speaker 6 (34:36):

Speaker 4 (34:42):
Okay, hold online, Okay, hold on, okay, say we do
it again at ten twenty. We'll give another magic word
at ten twenty and then every hour after that. Such
a cool prize. All right, let's recaps some Halloween. I
saw some Halloween e's. I saw Peyton's Halloween costume, waiting
(35:04):
excitement to see Kyle's Halloween costumes, the family costume. It's
good stuff. Where do we begin. Let's start off with
you Peyton? What were you?
Speaker 1 (35:13):
Well?
Speaker 11 (35:13):
I had two costumes, actually, so one night, Thursday night,
I went out with my little brother Jalen, and we
dressed up as Coraline and Wybe, and that one was
really fun. We went to the little party one of
his friends hosted. And then Friday night, Kadem and I
we dressed up as Chucky and Chucky's bride Tiffany, and
we went out and we had so much fun.
Speaker 8 (35:34):
We ended up at the Hot Chick. We had a table,
we got a bottle. It was so much fun.
Speaker 11 (35:39):
But I will say like Kadeem was in such character,
like it was so funny.
Speaker 8 (35:44):
Everyone was just cracking up.
Speaker 11 (35:45):
Because if you ever get to the point where you
really get to know my fiance Kadem, he really lets
his walls down. He is like so childish, so immature,
and like probably the most annoying person you'll ever meet
on the face of the earth. And Chucky kind of
reminds you of like just like a bad little kid,
like always just like.
Speaker 8 (36:04):
Yes, he get it, And.
Speaker 11 (36:05):
Kadem was really channeling his bad little kid and everyone like, dude, you.
Speaker 8 (36:11):
Need to chill out with this little plastic knife. You
have calm all the way down.
Speaker 11 (36:16):
But we had such a good time. It was seriously
so fun. But yeah, old town was packed. I don't
think we'll be doing that again next year.
Speaker 3 (36:23):
That sounds amazing.
Speaker 8 (36:25):
What was that?
Speaker 3 (36:26):
That sounds amazing? Why not?
Speaker 11 (36:27):
It was like almost insane, Like I honestly.
Speaker 8 (36:31):
Props to you if you were able to.
Speaker 11 (36:32):
Go out on Halloween night and stand in those Disneyland
link lines, like, good for you, because it couldn't be me.
Speaker 8 (36:38):
Couldn't be me. I couldn't do it.
Speaker 11 (36:40):
Like so the fact that we had the table, we
were able to get right in and sit down.
Speaker 8 (36:43):
Was great, but it was like packed to the brim.
It was insane. It was like your startine.
Speaker 6 (36:48):
My son told me, and maybe this you know, I don't.
Speaker 4 (36:50):
I don't go out much, right so I don't know
if this is a very common thing, but in his
world at the University of Arizona, there's bars with huge
lines and then you can pay to get a wristband
to get you in the front of the line.
Speaker 6 (37:02):
Have you heard of that before?
Speaker 8 (37:03):
I haven't.
Speaker 4 (37:04):
Okay, good, because I was like, that's crazy. Why would
you pay, like, you know, like I don't want I
don't want to wait in.
Speaker 8 (37:09):
Line more than the cover fee and yeah, oh yeah.
Speaker 4 (37:12):
Yeah, so then you get right to the front of
the line with these wristbands to get in all these
clubs and stuff.
Speaker 6 (37:16):
And I'm like, I wouldn't want to do that. I
just wouldn't go.
Speaker 11 (37:19):
I would turn around and go home as well. I'm
not waiting in any lines to get into.
Speaker 4 (37:23):
But here how smart these clubs are because then some
people get the wristbands and they're like dealing with them
before the night comes.
Speaker 1 (37:30):
You know.
Speaker 6 (37:30):
I'm like, how many bands you got? I three? Okay,
I'm gonna give you five to this ball. I'll go Dutch.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
By the way, for Halloween, I cannot show pictures. He
told me he would send me the pictures, but I
could never post them or share with anybody. Him and
a couple's buddies were dressed in camouflage and they were
cougar hunters.
Speaker 8 (37:50):
Okay, so yeah, they even had.
Speaker 4 (37:54):
They're really nice costumes and they say cougar Hunter on
them and they're out and about that.
Speaker 3 (38:00):
Boy, he's got the game.
Speaker 7 (38:02):
He's got to catch anything, you know it.
Speaker 6 (38:05):
Man.
Speaker 4 (38:06):
But Pete, what about that app that you were talking about.
I want to know about that.
Speaker 11 (38:09):
Wow, that was insane. So my brother had told us
about this app and it's kind of like an uber,
but it's like sprinter vans, So you can call an
uber or this. You can call this company for this
van and you can have all twelve of your party
in there.
Speaker 7 (38:25):
That's cool.
Speaker 2 (38:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (38:26):
I thought it was like, oh, it's time to go,
let's call the uber. So we called the app. The
guy had confirmed. He was like, this is your driver.
I'm twenty four minutes away. Twenty three minutes go by
and we get a text message of your your ride
was canceled.
Speaker 7 (38:41):
Oh.
Speaker 11 (38:42):
We were so upset because we're like in the East
Valley and we're trying to get to old town Scottstail.
This is like a thirty minute drive that we're banking
on and we were so upset. And then it dawned
on me. I was like, Okay, my dad's a basketball coach.
We have a twelve passenger van.
Speaker 8 (38:56):
At the house.
Speaker 11 (38:57):
So I called my dad and I said, we have
a problem here. Ubers are like one hundred and fifty bucks.
They're not going to get to us for another thirty minutes.
We need to be at the bars now. So one
of my brother's friends, who doesn't drink, ended up driving
the twelve of us.
Speaker 3 (39:11):
Yeah, passes parking anywhere.
Speaker 11 (39:14):
With the Old Town apparently. Actually we parked right over
by the Sprouts ride in Old Town.
Speaker 8 (39:19):
It's a little hack free parking over there.
Speaker 6 (39:22):
So the guy drove you and then he went in
and party with you too.
Speaker 8 (39:24):
Went in and partied. Yeah, it was like the best time.
And then when it was time to go, we all
rallied in.
Speaker 1 (39:29):
We were like a clown car Dad save the day.
Speaker 8 (39:32):
No, he came through. He did make us fill up
the tank though.
Speaker 4 (39:34):
Wait, so let me ask you this, So is it
like like Uber you drive your own car? Are these
people that have vans that apply for this belief?
Speaker 2 (39:41):
So?
Speaker 8 (39:42):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (39:42):
And do you think the app screwed you over or
the guy screwed you over?
Speaker 8 (39:45):
I think it was the guy.
Speaker 6 (39:46):
Could you not ordered another one? Or they're probably not
that many.
Speaker 11 (39:48):
Because it's new, there's there's not that many. And also
we were ready to go, like we didn't have another
thirty forty minutes to wait.
Speaker 7 (39:55):
You were ready to go because you were supposed to
be going.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
All the waiting. Let's promote the app. But I.
Speaker 2 (40:03):
Don't know.
Speaker 8 (40:03):
I do think it was the guy. I don't think
it was the app.
Speaker 7 (40:06):
I feel like the app's not ready for primetime though,
because if it was, there would be another one right
in the area.
Speaker 3 (40:11):
They could pick you up, especially where you are because
they're all probably lds dads that have them for their children.
The children are in beds, so they're just driving around.
Speaker 6 (40:19):
Let's recap Kyle's Halloween.
Speaker 8 (40:21):
Okay, it's a.
Speaker 7 (40:22):
Little bit more tame the Peyton. I'm out of the
club days and into the mom days where I'm like
obsessed with Halloween and so over here. I want our
family to do something together because when it's together, it's
more fun and I love a good theme. So I
really wanted to be this year, like because my husband
and my kids they all love golf. What I really
(40:43):
wanted to be was like the master's caddie with golfers.
And then I wanted, like one of the kids maybe
be a golf ball or something. Everyone said no. It's
like it was really cute. I had a whole thing,
and I saw all this stuff and I showed them
pictures and they still said no, And so I said, fine,
I will compromise. What do you guys want to be?
And so Addie and Easton started looking at costumes online,
(41:04):
and Easton the whole time was like, I'm not doing it.
I'm not dressing up. So Addie found a cow costume.
She really liked. It is like a Swansie. It was
a cute little onesie. And I was like, oh, this
is great. And then I's like, and you could be
like a chicken or a pig. And then he was
like maybe a chicken. I was like dot. And then
Scott and I will be the farmers and we're raising
these animals. It's so appropriate, right. So I go forth,
(41:24):
I get all the costumes and until Halloween morning, Easton
is still saying I am not dressing up. I made
a deal with him earlier. I told you guys, remember,
I was like, here's the thing. Just dress up for
the photos. You don't have to go trick or treating
and I will just buy the candy you like and
give it to you like you don't have to do
you don't have to do the work, just put the costume.
(41:48):
So he had he had denied making that deal, right,
and so he was still saying no, no, no, he
doesn't want to be in the costume. And I said, okay,
new deal. And this pains my heart this year. Just
give me one last year of doing a family costume
and then next year you can be whatever you want.
(42:11):
And they were like, really, just give me this one
last year.
Speaker 3 (42:18):
That changed fast. You figured you'd have them till they're like,
you know, like mid teens, but nope.
Speaker 8 (42:23):
Nope, no.
Speaker 7 (42:24):
So they said okay, and I was like all right,
so we got the costumes. I did not make him
go trigger treating because you know, Eastan's my kid who
hates people in costumes like he hates He has like
a fear of mascots, and Halloween is basically just a
day full of mascots walking around. So we went treating
and like the whole time, I'm like, how can this
be the last time? Is it really the last time?
(42:47):
Maybe they'll forget next year it's the.
Speaker 4 (42:49):
Last time they can do a family costume, but you'll
let them do. So Easton is all down to be
an individual costume.
Speaker 7 (42:55):
I think when he hears that and I say you
can be whatever you want, he thinks, good, then I
can be nothing.
Speaker 4 (43:02):
Oh yeah, So they'd never trick or treated U as
far as what they want to be.
Speaker 6 (43:09):
They've always trick or treated what you want them to be.
Speaker 7 (43:12):
Yeah, technically, but then I've tweaked it like they picked
basically like Addie picked her costume and I I did
the whole family costume around that.
Speaker 4 (43:19):
No, those are cute pictures and stuff. By the way,
where did you get your husband's green flannel shirt? I
have to go to a western thing.
Speaker 7 (43:25):
And that's so funny. I like that shirt founded on Amazon.
Who consind you the link if you are. He was
so funny because Scott like Kadeem. He he gets into
his character and the whole night he had this piece
of wheat.
Speaker 8 (43:37):
I saw that that was fun.
Speaker 7 (43:39):
He didn't let it go and he didn't call me
anything other than darling.
Speaker 3 (43:42):
They come together. The really made the costume pop.
Speaker 7 (43:46):
I know he's so good at accessories. He really wanted
a big belly, and so we were testing out different
pillows and it turned out the best thing for the
for the farmer belly was a squish melow. So it
all worked out. It was really fun, but also her
breaking to know that.
Speaker 4 (44:02):
A follow up to Peyton's story, she said that they
she had to call her dad used the van and
the friends used the van, but the one rule he
had to bring it back full tank of gas. He
just sent a picture with an empty gas tank, and
he says, filled up the tank, my ass.
Speaker 3 (44:18):
She even knows the rule. The only rules. We had
to fill it up with the gas.
Speaker 1 (44:21):
He goes, there's Uber and then there's me dumber.
Speaker 6 (44:25):
Oh he's on the line. Okay, hello Peyton's dad.
Speaker 2 (44:29):
Good morning.
Speaker 6 (44:30):
So the rule was they had to fill up the tank.
Speaker 2 (44:38):
Yeah, take take the van, take the vehicle, fill up
the tank. That's it. Hey, you know, doing my doing
my duty as a parent, and and and you know,
a good good lover of Halloween and good times. Go
go have your fun, but fill up my tank. Load up.
(44:59):
Be responsible. That's it. So you know, there's there's Uber,
and there's there's Left, and there's there's me. There's left
left on empty.
Speaker 12 (45:12):
That's that's that's my brand.
Speaker 2 (45:14):
So I need to I need to do my own
app Yeah, come borrow my van, load it up and
leave all your costumes in it for me to clean
out and leave it on empty.
Speaker 3 (45:22):
There you go on this very shoe Peyton has talked
about if you borrow somebody's car, you fill it up.
This is less than a week ago. Peyton was like
throwing this down like it is her her quest for fire.
Speaker 11 (45:34):
Feel like you just need to text your son because
he's the one that has all the money that will
be paying you for the.
Speaker 8 (45:39):
Gas, So that's not on me.
Speaker 2 (45:43):
Just like it's just like the virtual you know, birthday,
the virtual Christmas gift where you get the note hey
to be, it's in the mail, it's coming later. You
get the old gift coupon. Yeah, I'll never see that gas.
Speaker 6 (45:58):
Hey, thanks for calling in.
Speaker 2 (46:01):
All right, talk to you guys.
Speaker 4 (46:05):
By the way, my Halloween, I was at the Sun's
game on Halloween night and it was great.
Speaker 6 (46:09):
I didn't have to hand out candy, I had to
do anything. It was great.
Speaker 4 (46:11):
And I say that because we have Sun's tickets online
for Monday's game versus the Pelicans. We're going to do
that about an hour from now. An hour from now,
you get your own son's tickets.
Speaker 15 (46:21):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (46:22):
Kyle mceing something incredible this weekend. But the story behind
her outfit, that's what intrigued me as a man who's
into fashion. We'll get into it next.
Speaker 1 (46:34):
John Jay and Rich, Good morning.
Speaker 6 (46:37):
Start your day with John Jay and Rich.
Speaker 7 (46:39):
I wake up with my favorite artist.
Speaker 1 (46:40):
Hey, this is Sabrina Carpenter.
Speaker 20 (46:42):
What's up, guys.
Speaker 5 (46:44):
Benson Boone as You're waking up with John, Jay and.
Speaker 4 (46:46):
Rich over the weekend, it was Halloween and as I
was going through everyone's social media on the show, I
saw Kyle in this glamorous outfit and I was like, wow,
where are you?
Speaker 6 (46:58):
Where were you?
Speaker 7 (46:58):
So I was invited to MC for the second year
in a row the Hushaby Nursery like fundraising gala and like,
Hushaby is such an incredible organization that when they asked me,
I was like, oh my gosh. Absolutely. They take care
of babies who are born into withdrawal because of the
opioid epidemics, So babies are born in withdrawal from these
(47:20):
drugs that they were exposed to in the womb. And
what's really cool about Hushaby is they actually work to
keep the parents with the babies, so they help the
parents with their recovery and like all of the resources
they need to start this new life with their kids.
And it's like it's been working with like incredible numbers.
And so when I knew I had to m see
(47:40):
this event, I was like, I don't really I don't
have a lot of fancy clothes because like we wear
jeans and T shirts, in the hair at work. So
I was like, I gotta find something to wear. And
Peyton and I had just done our try it Tuesday
and we were in the area of Last Chance, which
I hadn't been in a really long time. And it's
such a gem because you can find such great deals
in there. I'm like, I'm gonna go check that out
(48:01):
and see.
Speaker 1 (48:01):
If I can find you saved last Chance?
Speaker 6 (48:03):
What is that?
Speaker 7 (48:04):
Last Chance is like like what norserom Rack is to Norstrm.
It's the norserom rack of norchmim rack.
Speaker 3 (48:12):
Okay, gotcha.
Speaker 7 (48:12):
So it's like the discounted stuff from there that doesn't
get sold and like it's guys and girls and it's
like discounted super heavily. And so I went there and
they were having a fifty percent off blue tag sale.
So I start going through the formal dresses and they
have shoes on sale and all things. So I'm like, okay,
I'm going to try all these on. So I do,
(48:33):
and I find this dress and I feel like it
fits almost perfectly, and it's only eight dollars.
Speaker 8 (48:39):
What a steal.
Speaker 7 (48:42):
It was sixteen dollars, but I had blue tags. It
was fifty percent off?
Speaker 6 (48:45):
What do you think it was? Before I went to
Norserim rack, Oh, I could see.
Speaker 7 (48:49):
This dress being over well over one hundred dollars, maybe
two hundred dollars at least. Yeah, So I was like,
you gotta be kidding me. The straps are a little long,
which is the problem. So I'm like, you know what
I feel like, for eight bucks, I can sew this thing.
And if I ruin the dress it was eight dollars.
Speaker 4 (49:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (49:05):
Sure.
Speaker 7 (49:06):
So I start, you know, googling tutorials on how to
alter your own dress without a sewing machine because I
don't have a sewing this okay. So we did that
on Wednesday or Thursday, Thursday, Thursday, Thursday, and then I
didn't have time to really do anything to it because
of course Friday was Halloween. So Saturday, the day of
(49:27):
the event, I'm googling the tutorials on how to do it,
and I'm like, I think I can do this, but
as I'm preparing my day and taking other kids and
getting ready and all the things, I don't have time
to sew it before I leave. And I said, you
know what, I'm doing this in the car for a scie.
We off for the car start driving. No, I'm not
(49:50):
wearing I'm wearing sweats, and I have the dress. It's
inside out because that's.
Speaker 8 (49:54):
What the tutorials said to do.
Speaker 7 (49:56):
And I start sewing it right, and it's really bumpy,
so it's as if I don't have like control of
my own hands, like sewing one, threading the needle and
putting it in, and I'm like, you know what I
should have done. Meanwhile, we've been driving for ten minutes already,
maybe fifteen. I was like, I should have brought a
backup dress just in case I did not. I did
(50:18):
not because I was determined to make this happen. So
I'm sewing all the way up until literally we pull
into the event.
Speaker 1 (50:27):
But I did it.
Speaker 7 (50:28):
I put the dress inside out, I get changed in
the car, I step out of the car, I'm halfway dressed.
Scott zips the dress up and we walk into the event.
Speaker 8 (50:40):
Like a million bucks.
Speaker 4 (50:43):
Rich On Instagram, you can see this is unbelievable.
Speaker 7 (50:47):
No, it turned out all right. I mean, if you
if you look up close where the straps are, you
can you can tell a professional did not do that.
Speaker 6 (50:56):
The pictures posted you can your hair goes over.
Speaker 4 (51:00):
That was strategic if you didn't touch the dress and
you were just wearing it overalls.
Speaker 7 (51:07):
No, okay, So when I put it on, it was
like I would have to you know what, pulling up
the shops are too long. It was like, yeah, it's
like the boobs are sagging, like it's like it's just
not great. It doesn't look like it fits, says who says,
But you guys, it worked out. And if you need
any seamstress.
Speaker 3 (51:29):
Yeah, you can call me in the car. That's pretty impressive.
Pretty impressive.
Speaker 7 (51:34):
I really should have brought a backup, but I you know,
then I would have had the backup and I wouldn't
have been so determined to have it.
Speaker 2 (51:40):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (51:40):
Someone just texted, if you don't know how to sell Kyle,
they sell sticky hem tape.
Speaker 8 (51:46):
That's smart.
Speaker 7 (51:46):
I didn't think the stick I actually have him tape,
but I didn't think it would be strong enough. You
gotta hold these over you know, I need a over
the shoulder boulder holder in a dress. Okay, we need strengths.
We needed the strength of I do know how to
sell a little bit. I just don't own a sewing machine.
Speaker 4 (52:05):
The pictures are up on our Instagram. John Jay and
Rich Chad, good morning.
Speaker 12 (52:09):
What's up, Hey, sir, my name is Chad. How are
you doing good?
Speaker 6 (52:14):
You're on there, Chad, go ahead.
Speaker 12 (52:16):
Hey, hey, good.
Speaker 6 (52:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (52:17):
I was just here in a segment listen to you
guys quite a bit, and some gentlemen said that he
was having some complications delivering packages to his neighbor and
maybe missing out on some cues. I agree, yeah, I
agree with Yeah, I agree with Kyle and Peyton's assessment
(52:38):
of that. I think she was sitting on him as well.
Speaker 6 (52:41):
Totally did that happen to you?
Speaker 12 (52:44):
Yeah, So you know, I'm a Colorado native. I went
out to Baltimore in my younger years and uh, you know,
just kind of wanted to see the big city type thing. Anyways,
made some friends, you know, made coworker friendships and all
that stuff. But this this one lady in particular, I
think I was about twenty two at the time. She
may have been twenty five twenty six, and you know,
(53:08):
we got to know each other in the neighborhood. But
she would always ask me to come over and check
her slumming, and I you know, of course, you know,
I'd just come over with my toolbox and I'm like,
everything looks good, but it happened multiple times, and I
now that I'm a little bit older, Yeah, I missed
out on that.
Speaker 3 (53:27):
Yeah, I'm talking about that kind of plumbing.
Speaker 12 (53:31):
Yeah yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (53:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (53:35):
So you know, we we actually ended up having a relationship,
which was which was nice, but you know, it was
a it was a little bit later after that, you know,
I had to come to my senses and figure out
what the hell was actually going on. So but yeah, no,
it's just it's funny to hear kind of a similar
situation from that other gentleman.
Speaker 6 (53:56):
That's great, Thank you, Chad, Thanks for listening.
Speaker 1 (53:57):
Brother.
Speaker 12 (53:58):
I have a great day, are you.
Speaker 3 (54:00):
You pretty much got to just tell guys, we don't
pick up on any hands.
Speaker 4 (54:04):
So yesterday I didn't understand this until right now Kyle's explaining,
was like the super Bowl of NASCAR.
Speaker 7 (54:09):
Yeah, I was the championship race.
Speaker 6 (54:11):
Is it always here?
Speaker 7 (54:13):
I don't know. I'm new to NASCAR, okay, but I do.
Speaker 4 (54:16):
Feel like I'm a NASCAR person there because I've done
the I've been to the Brickyard five hundred, I've done
the NASCAR thing.
Speaker 6 (54:24):
Force.
Speaker 4 (54:24):
I was kind of like when I saw this event
was coming up, I was like, I'm not. It's fun,
but I don't need to be there. I mean, it's
pretty wild how you sit there and watch these cars going. Man, Right,
and so get this, I should have been there yesterday,
And let me tell you why I don't want to
(54:46):
be there. I wasn't invited to be there, but under
these circumstances, and I'm being very hyper sensitive. There's a
guy who's kind of a friend of mine. He sold
his company for a ton of money, a crazy amount
of money. He also has a couple of helicopters and
a Rolls Royce and some stuff, and he's a really
really nice human being good family man. One time I
(55:09):
was having lunch with him and I noticed that he
had some very similarities to my friend, my neighbor. So
I introduced them and they become like best friends.
Speaker 6 (55:18):
Right.
Speaker 4 (55:18):
I have another friend of mine who I had dinner
with about four or five days ago. I was telling
him about this friend of mine and they connected. Yesterday,
they post a picture. It's my friend, his helicopter, my
neighbor across the street, his wife, and a friend that
the guy had dinner with the other night, and they
(55:39):
took a helicopter to the NASCAR race and I wasn't invited.
Speaker 8 (55:43):
And you're the connecting link of all.
Speaker 4 (55:45):
Yeah, I connected all of them, and I would have
said no, there would have been like, no way, but
thanks for the invite.
Speaker 6 (55:50):
The fact that I didn't get invited.
Speaker 3 (55:52):
They probably know that you would say no.
Speaker 1 (55:55):
It was kind of like I saw the picture and
I'm like, what gives?
Speaker 3 (55:58):
Yeah, all those people.
Speaker 1 (55:59):
Are there because of me.
Speaker 17 (56:02):
That you.
Speaker 1 (56:05):
Probably the one and the one guy. It's all it's
two couples.
Speaker 4 (56:08):
And my friend Ian was just by himself and he's
like in sweats, like he doesn't belong there. I'm like,
I just had dinner with him four nights ago, but
how is he what? And I'm just kind of like
this looks so wrong? How is I not invited?
Speaker 7 (56:22):
Do you know what's weird is I had a similar thought,
and let me explain, not because of your connection with
the rest of the people, and said helicopter, but I
also know that person that has the helicopter. I also
rode in a helicopter with that person to the Barrett
Jackson so like last year, And it was funny because
(56:43):
Scott and I, of course we were at we were
at NASCAR, We were there, and we were walking the
track and the kids were signing the track and we
watched a pre show which Jordan Davis. It was really fun.
And we look up and there's this helicopter and we
recognize it circling around and I was like, Oh my gosh,
look who it is. And then we were like we were.
Speaker 4 (57:05):
The only thing I can think of is not where
I wasn't invited, but like there probably wasn't enough room.
That's why my friend Ian was by himself. So for
the helicopter, I don't know, but I was kind of
like the I don't want to get stuck in traffic,
I don't want to drive there, and I definitely don't
want to go into helicopter. That's cool, but I just
wasn't invited. Like I'm the I'm the nucleus to that
group of people, do you know what I'm saying? Like
(57:26):
I'm the like how like a week ago they didn't
know each other.
Speaker 8 (57:29):
I'm totally with you on this one.
Speaker 7 (57:31):
Then you go, if you're him, who have I been
hanging out with? Who am I going to invite? Probably
the people he's been hanging out with a lot.
Speaker 6 (57:38):
But hey, John j we're gonna go to the NASCAR. Yeah,
I'm thinking, so you want to roll.
Speaker 3 (57:42):
Well, we know this person, and this person knows you
very well, and he knows you're gonna not want to
go to NASCAR. That's true, I promise you. He's like,
I'm gonna ask John Jay and he's gonna be like, dude,
I want to go to NASCAR.
Speaker 4 (57:51):
I said the picture to Blake, my wife, Blake, she's
out of town. I was like, look at this, and
she's like, what the heck?
Speaker 6 (57:57):
And I go.
Speaker 1 (57:58):
I know I should have been invited.
Speaker 6 (58:00):
She's like, you don't want to go to that? I
know I don't want to go.
Speaker 11 (58:03):
I feel like that's such an easy thing, though, Like
if you're one of John Jay's friends and you know
he doesn't want to go, just extend the invite anyway,
Like you're going to get the credit for being a
good friend and letting you know that you're invited.
Speaker 7 (58:12):
Yeah, But then here's what happens, isn't John Jay feels
some sort of pressure to maybe go.
Speaker 4 (58:17):
Yes, that fascinates and I feel like I would have
to go because then I could be on the air
talking about but I wasn't invited, So I don't have
to talk about it.
Speaker 3 (58:26):
But what you're hoping is somehow they canceled the entire event.
Speaker 6 (58:30):
I think it was. It was Tuesday night.
Speaker 4 (58:33):
I went to dinner with my friend Ian, who was
in the helicopter, and he was going to meet that
friend that had the helicopter with a big pickleball tournament,
and he goes, Hey, we're going to go play pickleball
with so and so.
Speaker 6 (58:44):
Would you want to come? I was like, no, absolutely.
Speaker 7 (58:47):
If you would have gone, maybe you would have been.
Speaker 4 (58:50):
Invited, but I said no, I don't want to go
to the pick a ball tournament. When I looked at
the pictures, like oh, that would have been fun to been.
Speaker 3 (58:55):
There, Like okay, here's how this works. He wants to
be invited to a party that he doesn't want to
go to, but the best scenario is that the party
cancels and he doesn't have to go. That way, he
committed to going, but he doesn't have to go.
Speaker 6 (59:10):
I don't want to go.
Speaker 7 (59:11):
He gets the invite and credit for saying he would go,
but doesn't have to go.
Speaker 4 (59:14):
I put on the TV and watched the NASCAR race
for thirty seconds and that was enough.
Speaker 7 (59:21):
It's really exciting in person though, like, oh yeah, like
a dreams rumble. The sound is. I almost thought for
a second I wasn't going to have to put the
ear things in because I have hearing loss anyways. And
then they really started getting going and I'm like, oh, yeah,
why you know definitely, it's like you feel the adrenaline
and it's so crazy. There was a crash I was
(59:41):
going to probably about forty feet away from us, and
we didn't even realize it until until it got quiet,
and we're like, why aren't they going again? Oh, they're
taking a car off the track as we speak, I'll
know you. Therefore, we were there for probably almost five
or six hours.
Speaker 3 (59:59):
What about it to point you want to be somewhere
for five hours?
Speaker 7 (01:00:02):
We went early on purpose because we wanted to do
all the cool stuff you can do before the actual
race starts. And then when the race started, I was
actually surprised how quick goes because they go three hundred
and twelve times around that track.
Speaker 6 (01:00:14):
Oh wow, that's all.
Speaker 2 (01:00:15):
It was like.
Speaker 7 (01:00:16):
We were just chatting and we're like, wow, there at eighty.
Speaker 3 (01:00:18):

Let's get some entertainment news. What's going on in the
world of entertainment.
Speaker 11 (01:03:03):
Cayle Payton Ariana Grande is gonna be on season thirteen
of American Horror Story, and Jessica Lane is coming back
after she said she wasn't ever gonna do it. So
I'm like, Okay, either the storyline is just that good
or the paycheck was.
Speaker 7 (01:03:15):
That much better.
Speaker 8 (01:03:16):
So I'm excited to see it drops Halloween of next year.
Speaker 1 (01:03:20):
Oh that's a way's way yeah, but I mean it's
only a year.
Speaker 11 (01:03:23):
We're gonna forget about it and then it's gonna be
Halloween and we're like, oh my gosh, we can binge ahs.
Speaker 8 (01:03:27):
So it's gonna be awesome.
Speaker 11 (01:03:29):
Justin Bieber he actually just got really real about his birth,
about the birth of his son Jack. He talks about
how he butted heads with his wife, Haley's doula during labor.
He said he wanted to be more hands on and
she was just not having it. And I'm like, if
I'm a fly on the wall, like I don't know
if I'd ever be able to tell, Like Justin Bieber anything,
I would just be.
Speaker 7 (01:03:48):
Like you do you bro, But she's like, I'm the
medical expert. You're doing it wrong.
Speaker 8 (01:03:52):
You're gonna hurt your wife rights conversation.
Speaker 7 (01:03:55):
Because it could be you know, it's really exciting when
you have a baby, but it's also could be really
like tense and like it's a lot of action, you know,
And so he I mean that probably is the reason
they got the dula though. So it was probably like
Biaber being like, this isn't what we discussed, like I
wanted to.
Speaker 11 (01:04:09):
Cut the cord exactly, and Haley, I guess made him apologize,
which one was like, good for you girl.
Speaker 7 (01:04:14):
Yeah, I love that Sidney Sweeney. You guys. She was
engaged and they broke off right her ex fiancee, Jonathan Divino,
came back in her life momentarily, so she had like
this dinner with friends to watch the World Series game,
and afterwards she met up with her ex fiance which
alone is not a great idea, especially when there's paparazzi around.
Like she noticed the paparazzi. She's like ducking down in
(01:04:35):
the car. She's leaving with him. But it didn't turn
out well. They had a very very not so great interaction.
At one point, I guess she was getting out of
the car and was shouting at him, I don't believe you.
Just lay me alone, lay me aloud. As they arrived
at her la home, and then he did not stay.
It was clearly strained and I don't know. You know,
they were together for a very long time, so I'm
(01:04:56):
not really sure why the meet up happened in the
first place. Maybe he was like, let me, let me explain,
and whatever it was, she wasn't having it.
Speaker 6 (01:05:02):
Did you see her at the NASCAR that yesterday?
Speaker 7 (01:05:04):
I did not. Was she there, No, Sophe Cunningham. She
was very beautiful, No way. I wish I ran in
her a little bit of awesome. I did I miss
that one. But I did not miss Jennifer Aniston going
Instagram official with her man. This is the same guy
that I don't know if you guys remember Bethany Frankel
was talking about. She's like, oh, yeah, I did it him.
(01:05:24):
At one point, he's ay, have no therapist, don't why
I can't say that word.
Speaker 8 (01:05:28):
Anyways.
Speaker 7 (01:05:29):
His name is Jim Curtis, and she posted a picture
It's like a black and white picture of her like
hugging in from behind, and it's like happy birthday, my
love cherished, and I'm like, I'm just happy to see
Jennifer Aniston happy.
Speaker 3 (01:05:40):
You know, do you think he hypnotized her in the
dating him?
Speaker 7 (01:05:43):
I was probably a little bit of thought of that,
but no. Yes, Jennifer Hudson had Megan the Stallion on
her show and they were sharing stories back and forth
of being confused for one another, Like apparently people always
think there each other, including their own security team. So
Megan the Stallion was like talking to Jen Rudden was
like they went to an event together.
Speaker 21 (01:06:04):
Frian, remember that time we was in Italy for the
adulta Things. Yes, Jennifer Security caps matching me up that
the I was like, come on, we gotta move, we
gotta move.
Speaker 4 (01:06:14):
I'm like, I'm not with you.
Speaker 1 (01:06:17):
It's not me.
Speaker 7 (01:06:18):
I'm not a promise and I was like, hey, we're
my security.
Speaker 19 (01:06:21):
Maybe I don't know, but Jennifer Security wanted me to be.
Speaker 1 (01:06:25):
Jam real bad that day.
Speaker 7 (01:06:26):
When your own security mixes you up for each other,
they just feel like they have this extra bond. It's
kind of cute.
Speaker 11 (01:06:32):
I'm loving their I'm loving megane Stallion, right, now though,
did you guys see her photo dump? She like posted
a picture it's like her and her boyfriend Klay Thompson
holding a heart and then like house keys.
Speaker 8 (01:06:43):
I'm like, oh, they're moving in it's getting way.
Speaker 7 (01:06:46):
Oh no, I love seeing people happy and to love.
It's just the best CARDI B. She's happy and in love.
She's not happy with everybody talking about her during her pregnancy.
She's like, it is toxic and people don't realize that
I have an actual child growing inside me and I
don't need that toxicity. And then some people looked at
her one of her last instagrams, her stories or her life,
she was like she was saying, how gross she is.
(01:07:08):
Right now, I.
Speaker 21 (01:07:09):
Got oiled down my scout because tom I'm gonna do
my real hair. I'm gonna wash it. Then around Wednesday,
I'm upgrading. I haven't washed my like two months. Matter
of fact, I'm lying probably like three months.
Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
I don't know.
Speaker 21 (01:07:21):
I probably got all type of roach eggs, mosquito eggs,
everything in this right here.
Speaker 7 (01:07:27):
And everyone's like, you're bringing a little toxicity into your
life in every way.
Speaker 11 (01:07:30):
But like, also she's being so dramatic right now, like
there's been times where i'ven't washed my hair for two
months because it's in braids or whatever.
Speaker 8 (01:07:37):
But like roach eggs, CARDI seriously be so for real.
She's so funny. She's such a troll.
Speaker 11 (01:07:43):
She was actually at the Patriots game too, because her
boyfriend and baby daddy, Stefan Digs plays for the Patriots
and she was sitting in the owner's box. He scored
a touchdown and I was loving it for her. I
was like, wow, she is really in like a whole
new era because it was just like two years ago
She's at like Amigo's concert watching her husband.
Speaker 8 (01:08:00):
And now it's like a totally different vibe for so
I'm loving that. Milly Bobby Brown.
Speaker 11 (01:08:04):
She reportedly filed a formal harassment and bullying complaint against
David Harbor ahead of filming for Stranger Thinks season five,
and according to sources, the allegations they weren't like any
like sexual in nature. They were just like leading to
an internal investigation launched by Netflix, which I feel like,
I wish I didn't know this going into watching season five.
Speaker 1 (01:08:23):
I file it before they started filming, believe I know.
Speaker 11 (01:08:28):
Yeah, fling hot Bird, that's the person that's like her
dad that.
Speaker 6 (01:08:32):
Shut her in, so he bullied her. I wonder what,
I don't.
Speaker 8 (01:08:35):
Know, but I mean, you see all the stuff.
Speaker 11 (01:08:36):
His ex wife's going through a divorce right now, Lily
Allen is saying that like he is awful and not
kind once He's.
Speaker 7 (01:08:42):
Probably like, I'm going into filming, I need to get
this filed ahead of time so people know that I
do not want to be around this person.
Speaker 11 (01:08:50):
That while though, and now when we watch it, we're
gonna be sitting in theaters for the finale and be like, wait, they.
Speaker 6 (01:08:54):
Hate each other, ex wife, divorce.
Speaker 8 (01:08:57):
I think they're either a divorce or in the process.
Speaker 4 (01:09:00):
Just read an article this morning about her that she
started and only fans for her feet because these people
go crazy for her feet and she's making more money
from only fans that she is from her music. Oh wow,
So I went up there. It started because of this
article about her feet on a website called Wiki feet right,
which is Rat's Feet, And she's got a four point
nine on there, and I looked in Kyle's on there
(01:09:21):
at a five point.
Speaker 7 (01:09:24):
Hey, don't even say that.
Speaker 6 (01:09:29):
Now, you would be the richest foot model in the contract.
Speaker 7 (01:09:32):
No, no, no, So you guys really quick. This is like,
I'm like, what was all the drama for Justin Baldoni's
four hundred million dollar lawsuit against Blake Lively has been dropped?
Just remember well if you guys remember, it was dismissed
and they said you have X amount of time to
refile with the changes that need to be made. They
(01:09:52):
missed the deadline and so his case has now been
thrown out.
Speaker 8 (01:09:56):
Okay, so I feel like he was probably going to
lose then.
Speaker 1 (01:10:00):
So she's still him.
Speaker 7 (01:10:01):
Then she is still suing him, so that lawsuit is
still going onward and forward as of now. You don't
know what went on behind the scenes. Did they think
he was going to lose and that's why they didn't refile,
or was there some deal made behind the scene between
Justin and Blake? We don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:10:16):
Watch so watch her drop her lawsuit a couple of
months because they would think there's a deal.
Speaker 7 (01:10:21):
If she does.
Speaker 3 (01:10:22):
Lawyer was pretty in your face about it.
Speaker 8 (01:10:24):
Mary, Yes, that waste the time, I know, like almost a.
Speaker 3 (01:10:31):
Waste as the movie was.
Speaker 1 (01:10:32):
When he did that, it made all kinds of it split.
Speaker 7 (01:10:35):
People like Blake before.
Speaker 4 (01:10:38):
He was the villain and then it happened and he filed,
and you're like, wait a minute, there's another side of this.
So I wonder it'll be when is the herst case
start early next year?
Speaker 7 (01:10:48):
Like I think March maybe.
Speaker 3 (01:10:50):
Okay, now she's not friends with Taylor Swift anymore. I'm
on team Taylor.
Speaker 4 (01:10:53):
I don't know if that's true or not. I thought
I saw a picture of them together, but I don't
know how recent was. I thought it was a big deal,
like a week or two ago. They're out to dinner.
I'm like, oh, that's then. The problem with Instagram is
you ever do that. You see one of those pictures,
you're like, oh my god, and you're looking it was
posted five days ago.
Speaker 1 (01:11:06):
Yeah, but it was.
Speaker 6 (01:11:07):
One of the first things on my feeds. But I
don't know, let's see, No, what do you know?
Speaker 1 (01:11:09):
Are they still friends? No?
Speaker 6 (01:11:11):
Do you know Blake Lively and Tator Swifter friends?
Speaker 2 (01:11:15):
I have no clue.
Speaker 6 (01:11:16):
Kind of swifty are you.
Speaker 15 (01:11:19):
Is?
Speaker 7 (01:11:19):
They've had no content?
Speaker 4 (01:11:20):
Okay, then my picture I probably saw was old. Oh
we got Suns tickets for Monday's game. I'm assuming next
Monday's game, not tonight's game. I'm assuming Monday's game. Yeah,
next Monday's game. Okay, uh, we're gonna play a game
called noise Machine eight seven seven ninety three seven one
oh four seven will play after Tate mccraid.
Speaker 6 (01:11:48):
We got tickets to the Sun's game, Maya.
Speaker 1 (01:11:50):
Good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 6 (01:11:54):
Okay, you're playing.
Speaker 4 (01:11:55):
Noise Machine for tickets to the Sun's game for next Monday.
Speaker 6 (01:11:58):
Are you ready?
Speaker 16 (01:12:00):
Yes, I'm very ready.
Speaker 6 (01:12:02):
Nick is the host.
Speaker 1 (01:12:03):
All right, Maya, I'm gonna play a noise you say
what said noise is. We're gonna start with John Jay.
This is a fall themed? Is that a helicopter that,
in fact is your friend Ian in a helicopter. It's
(01:12:26):
a good job you were listening to show earlier, you know.
Congratulations John Jay, you got one point already, will excuse me.
Speaker 6 (01:12:35):
We'll move on to Rich.
Speaker 3 (01:12:45):
Well, that was hard to hear, especially whatever Maya's doing.
I'm going to predict that Maya is actually packing a suitcase.
And then that person was cutting down a tree for Christmas.
Speaker 1 (01:12:54):
Heading, yeah, maybe, or maybe somebody heading on vacation. That's wrong, No,
anybody in the room.
Speaker 8 (01:13:00):
Pumpkin carve?
Speaker 1 (01:13:01):
Wow, pain, that was a pumpkin being carved.
Speaker 3 (01:13:05):
Good show.
Speaker 8 (01:13:07):
The only reason I know all.
Speaker 1 (01:13:08):
Right, So one point for John J. No points for
Rich Peyton.
Speaker 11 (01:13:17):
Okay, that's definitely like a drill of some sort.
Speaker 1 (01:13:28):
Okay you think so yeah, fall themed drilling like.
Speaker 8 (01:13:32):
No, like putting up your Christmas lights drilling your lights up?
Speaker 1 (01:13:35):
Yeah, no, it's wrong. Yeah, go ahead, Rich, tiny little Nascar. Okay,
that's also fun. We were looking for potatoes being mashed.
Speaker 11 (01:13:46):
Being mashed, because that doesn't sound like a potato being mashed.
Speaker 1 (01:13:49):
I've got the video pulled up still. Okay, all right,
John Jay did on one of the boys thus far.
Moving on to Kylon.
Speaker 7 (01:14:10):
Is that people watching the World Series game?
Speaker 1 (01:14:13):
It's the sounds of fall. It is a sport. We
are looking for football football, somebody watching a football game. Okay,
the sounds of fall. Okay, so John Jay, So I
mean it's a real heated game right now. All right, Maya,
it's your turn.
Speaker 15 (01:14:34):
All right, I'm gonna guess fall scene.
Speaker 8 (01:14:37):
So firepitch, let's go, let's go.
Speaker 1 (01:14:41):
My ties are not heading into a round two. We'll
kick things off once again with John J VNS.
Speaker 4 (01:14:53):
Class Heroes performing at Love Pop Family Fest. No, yeah,
that's fall fun.
Speaker 1 (01:15:00):
It is November fifteenth, market on your calendars.
Speaker 6 (01:15:03):
Bertuccio Farms.
Speaker 3 (01:15:05):
Rich, I heard the gobble gobble of a turkey in that.
Speaker 1 (01:15:18):
Yeah, yeah, that's a turkey. Good job, Rich. One point
for you in this game, Peyton.
Speaker 3 (01:15:34):
What I think those are my cousins?
Speaker 8 (01:15:38):
Oh? No, can I hear it again?
Speaker 14 (01:15:39):
Or no?
Speaker 1 (01:15:40):
I mean I guess if he wants.
Speaker 11 (01:15:43):
Okay, I'm gonna guess that this is like some kind
of rainfall.
Speaker 1 (01:15:54):
Okay, yeah, that's fun. He did say it's on fire
in that clip. That was the turkey from before getting fried. Alright, sorry, Peyton,
no points there, that evil point? All right, Kyle, Oh,
hang on a second, this is all frozen. Okay, that's good.
Speaker 7 (01:16:17):
You want to do the sound?
Speaker 6 (01:16:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:16:20):
Do you want? Hey, hold on, I actually can probably
do this one. Okay, ready, okay.
Speaker 7 (01:16:32):
Obviously that are squirrels gathering their nuts for the winter.
Speaker 1 (01:16:37):
Oh my word, that's you know what. That's a good
that's a good gas. I was also moving my feet,
so it was it was actually leaves crunching sounds anything
like leaves crunching? Okay, all right, good.
Speaker 11 (01:16:52):
It sounded like squirrels packing up their nuts sounds all right,
Well that's fine.
Speaker 1 (01:16:58):
As you can tell. I'm feeling great today.
Speaker 3 (01:17:00):
Are you losing your voice?
Speaker 1 (01:17:01):
Nick, Yeah, it's like basically gone.
Speaker 6 (01:17:05):
It's been in.
Speaker 3 (01:17:07):
This is when you should do all the announcing for
the show, but you're no, it's just it's just here. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:17:13):
Okay, so Maya, we are back. Are you ready for
your final clip?
Speaker 15 (01:17:18):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (01:17:19):
Yes, okay, seventy points for Devin Booker. Just unreal?
Speaker 16 (01:17:29):
All right, watching the football game?
Speaker 1 (01:17:31):
Okay, Maya?
Speaker 6 (01:17:36):
Do you know what you're playing for the patch?
Speaker 14 (01:17:39):
Yes?
Speaker 16 (01:17:39):
Sorry, we were watched that was the wrong guess.
Speaker 12 (01:17:42):
Yes, I just.
Speaker 20 (01:17:42):
Remember what are you playing?
Speaker 15 (01:17:44):
That?
Speaker 5 (01:17:45):
I realized now I.
Speaker 16 (01:17:45):
Heard Devin Booker the Sun's tickets the Sun's Cape.
Speaker 1 (01:17:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:17:49):
Are you are you a Phoenix Suns fan?
Speaker 13 (01:17:52):
Yes?
Speaker 16 (01:17:52):
And I got excited and I totally like got way
too excited and put it out an answer because we're
just watching football too long ago.
Speaker 8 (01:18:01):
Oh my goodness, I feel you answer.
Speaker 1 (01:18:05):
Yeah, do you have a new answer.
Speaker 6 (01:18:11):
A week?
Speaker 4 (01:18:11):
We will search it. But tickets my hold on the line.
They're gonna go see the Sun's next much my day?
Are we doing to get we have more Sun tickets
this week?
Speaker 6 (01:18:18):
All week?
Speaker 4 (01:18:18):
Oh good, very good, very good. By the way, So
we talked about football. We talked about suns We talked
a little bit about the World Series. You guys watch
any of the World Series?
Speaker 3 (01:18:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:18:26):
You did.
Speaker 3 (01:18:26):
I watched the whole thing. Wow, you did. I thought
it was so exciting, even though you know, I kind
of wanted Toronto to win a little bit, but I
was excited to see that come from behind Victor. I
thought that was awesome.
Speaker 6 (01:18:37):
I didn't watch one second.
Speaker 7 (01:18:38):
Really, how I feel like it was unavoidable, Like even
even on Halloween night, the game that was on Halloween Night,
It's like we were walking around the neighborhood. People had
it projected up on their garages.
Speaker 3 (01:18:48):
That's great.
Speaker 1 (01:18:49):
Now.
Speaker 4 (01:18:49):
I was at the Sun's game Halloween night, and then
the other night was a Saturday and Saturday when they won,
I went to bed like at eight. My wife's out
of town. I woke up Sunday She's like, did you
watch the World Series?
Speaker 1 (01:18:58):
Like?
Speaker 6 (01:18:58):
Do you know who you're talking to?
Speaker 3 (01:18:59):
There was a thing when it went in an extra innings.
I was like, uh oh, was it gonna be a
long one?
Speaker 6 (01:19:06):
I like that.
Speaker 4 (01:19:06):
There's this guy that plays for the Dodgers that has
won like the last five World Series, Will Seeth Will Smith.
Speaker 3 (01:19:13):
Will Smith got the Will Smith.
Speaker 8 (01:19:15):
Did you guys see that?
Speaker 11 (01:19:16):
Will Smith commented under his post and was like, we
get it done.
Speaker 1 (01:19:20):
I saw it.
Speaker 4 (01:19:20):
I saw meme that goes it's pretty crazy that Will
Smith slapped somebody Chris Rock in the face in twenty seventeen,
and now he's a five time.
Speaker 6 (01:19:31):
What's covered? Three things you need know?
Speaker 7 (01:19:32):
I'm going to tell you how your phone is aging
you and how experts say you can stop it. It's
a pretty surprising answer. Next with John Jaye Rich.
Speaker 6 (01:19:42):
Get up Rich, Good morning.
Speaker 3 (01:19:44):
Brian, good morning, what's up?
Speaker 6 (01:19:49):
How are you, sir?
Speaker 20 (01:19:50):
I wanted to call and tell you. First of all,
I'm on my cellphone. I'm not on speakerphone, and I'm
not in a box. I took my son to the
basketball game the other day, and this is how much
apparently we must talk about you find morning show folks.
But I'm like, henybody, let's go to the basketball game.
And he's like, yeah, let's go. Maybe we'll see John
jay there. And I'm like what, I was there? Wait
(01:20:13):
a minute, I thought you liked the booker. He's like, yeah,
but I think John j is gonna be there. I'm like,
all right, but I guess we'll look for john Jay,
but you were.
Speaker 6 (01:20:21):
There, you were Yeah, Booker's there.
Speaker 12 (01:20:23):
He's there the.
Speaker 6 (01:20:24):
Whole time with me. You don't know when I'm gonna leave.
The whole game was yeah, it was good though.
Speaker 20 (01:20:32):
He was very excited to see.
Speaker 12 (01:20:33):
You so well.
Speaker 6 (01:20:35):
Thank you, Brian, thanks for listening.
Speaker 4 (01:20:36):
And I don't know if we met up or not,
but I.
Speaker 1 (01:20:42):
Yeah we did.
Speaker 20 (01:20:43):
Yeah, we did, love pup. You met my my family
and my wife. She was I think, talk to your sister.
She works at a local funeral home, so you've actually
got to talk to us your sister.
Speaker 6 (01:20:53):
Wait, your wife works at a funeral home. Yes, okay, I.
Speaker 1 (01:20:58):
Spoke to your sister.
Speaker 4 (01:21:00):
Yeah, she'll be there this year too, November fifteenth. I
hope to see there, gotcha, thanks brother. By the way,
I was at the at the Sun's game, and I
ate a lot of food right good rich and I
just landed from Chicago.
Speaker 3 (01:21:12):
And there was no food on that plane.
Speaker 4 (01:21:14):
I changed clothes with the Sun's game and I was
I saw my neighbors there and I was telling him
I was eating a whole bunch of fuit.
Speaker 6 (01:21:19):
The guy going, man, you should eat a lot. I go.
I'm Starban just flew in Chicago. Halftime.
Speaker 4 (01:21:24):
I tell Blake right before halftime, I tell Blake, I
got to go to bathroom and go to the bathroom,
grab a hot dog, and I'm scarfing down this hot
dog like I hadn't eaten it in my life. And
my neighbor turns around and sees me eating a hot
dog like he walked through a corner. And I'm like, oh, justo,
he already comes to him eat a half hour ago.
Speaker 3 (01:21:42):
Anyway, John jay and Chicago pulled off a feet that
only John j could pull off because it was like
this big fancy banquet dinner that we're at and they
gave us our food and it's like they're kind of
rolling through the food pretty quick, and the steaks were
pretty small. Somehow between the two of us, John Jaye
negotiated four steaks four and you know I can't. I
can't eat all my half one the rest.
Speaker 7 (01:22:05):
We need to know your phone maybe aging you faster
than you think. Dermatologists actually say the blue light from
your screens can trigger dark spots, fine lines, and even
redness by cutting collagen and messing with circulation, almost emulating
sun damage. And the surprising way they say you can
stop it is by using sunscreen with zinc oxide and
(01:22:26):
vitamin C to help fight the dam like sunscreen for
your phone. That's bizarre to me, that's what they're saying.
Speaker 2 (01:22:33):
Now.
Speaker 7 (01:22:33):
Hotels say they are now taking a page out of
the airline playbook. AI powered a la carte pricing is
coming to your next day, So instead of one flat
room rate, you could soon be charged separately for things
like early check in, late checkout, cleaning, or even taking
a dip at the pool. AI is going to track
habits like thermostat changes or minibar us to personalize and
(01:22:56):
price every perk you take advantage of, meaning two guests
in the same hotel staying in the same style room
may pay totally different rates. Now, critics say this is
kind of Nickel and Dimond gone wild. Hotels claim it's
about choice and transparency, paying only.
Speaker 3 (01:23:11):
For what you use jamboo and you know where that's
going to show up versus lots of eggs because they're
having problems filling the rooms right now. So a lot
of times they'll put little surcharges on the menu that
you don't even notice, but if you do, you can
say tick that off. I'm not pin your searcharge and
they're supposed to.
Speaker 7 (01:23:25):
It's like concierge pricing, but no, you're really just charging
for every little thing. So there is a British Vogue article.
I don't know if you guys have seen this. It's
all over the internets. It's splitting people. The author is
Chantey Joseph and she wrote it because of some research
she was doing on why some people don't actually show
their significant other on social media.
Speaker 6 (01:23:47):
Damremnuse she's ug And here's the clip. Now, hey man,
new studio.
Speaker 4 (01:23:53):
In the clips, you play, yes, sometimes things work, sometimes
things don't work.
Speaker 3 (01:23:56):
I hit play.
Speaker 7 (01:23:57):
It just has an accent small, like.
Speaker 3 (01:24:00):
The little circle of No, it's not doing anything. It
just looks like it's pause.
Speaker 8 (01:24:03):
Okay.
Speaker 7 (01:24:04):
So at one point, when I'm explaining what the article is,
she may pop up and interrupt me and I'll just
let her, okay, But she basically says she found something
very interesting and that was like.
Speaker 19 (01:24:13):
An interesting subsect of women and something I've noticed across line,
particularly across all of my comments of women who are
just like being with a man period is embarrassing, and
you kind of just can tell that is this feeling,
you know, men are going this way women are going
that way right. Women are on a upwards trajectory like
leveling up, becoming the best version of themselves, and men
(01:24:35):
are not keeping up. And so now when you see
a woman who is just killing it in her prime
and then you see her with a man, it's like whoa.
Speaker 7 (01:24:43):
As you can imagine it split between supportive women of
her article and men who are enraged about the article,
saying are you kidding me? And she explained, she says, listen,
this is because women don't want to deal with a
judgment or hassle if things go south in their relationship.
It's less about the relationship themselves and more about keeping
your own identity separate, reflecting a bigger cultural shift in
(01:25:06):
independence and doing your own thing online.
Speaker 8 (01:25:09):
I definitely I can see why that sparked outrage.
Speaker 11 (01:25:12):
But I definitely can see why I feel she feels
the way she does, like I feel like in my life,
Like when I talk to my friends, especially my friends
that aren't dating right now, they're like, I'm only dating
with the intent to marry and have kids. Like if
that's the case, you won't see me with a man,
like my friends are like, you probably might meet my husband,
like at my wedding.
Speaker 8 (01:25:30):
That's how isolated I'm trying to be when it comes
to dating right now, so makes sense, I guess, which
is pretty wild.
Speaker 7 (01:25:35):
I don't think it's embarrassing to have.
Speaker 6 (01:25:37):
A mean while Jennifer Hassai just went to Instagram
Speaker 7 (01:25:40):
She's not embarrassed to have And that's three things you
need to know.
