It's Tuesday, that means second date Update. We got Riley
on the line. Riley, give us a little taste of
what happened on your date.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Well, my date was a ten out of ten, but
now he's ghosting me.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Oh he's ghosting you A ten out of ten. Well, hell,
we gotta take this case, Kyles.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Second date Update, we'll do it starts next with John
Jay and Rich. It was supposed to be the start
of a beautiful relationship, but somebody screwed it all up.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Second date update right now with John Jay and John
Jay and Rich. Time for second date Update. Riley.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
You want to hear about the date you went on,
and then we're gonna troubleshoot your dates.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
See where we think things went wrong because the person
is blowing.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
You off right, Yes, yeah, what's your story?

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Fortunately, Well, I was I was at this party and
this guy came up to me and I was getting
a drink and we started talking and the conversation would
just flowed. It was just like really easy and natural,
and I felt comfortable and we exchanged and then we
started facetiming every day, which is like not something I do,

but like it was like amazing. I've never had that
experience before, but you know, every night he would FaceTime
me and it was like the highlight of my evenings
and it felt like we were really building something and
getting closer and closure. And then we went on a
dating person and it was like a ken out of tent,
like amazing, Like the food was amazing, he was amazing,

Like everything was great and it could have not like
it was the best. But like right after that, he
just disappeared. And I was like, how is this possible
to have something so amazing and then nothing?

Speaker 3 (01:41):
How could you get that so wrong?

Speaker 5 (01:42):
Right?

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Well, you guys, so far, I've alreadnybody say, what if
he died he himself was to death in the.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Family, Oh my god, Oh my god? About that? Well no,
I just it's been two weeks and I haven't reached out,
and I'm just like I need an answer.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
So you're saying, instead of him just ghosting you, he
could be the ghost, he's really ghosting you.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
In fact, I almost say, there's no other options.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
No, what if it was a out of ghost I
go back out with out of ten.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
He's not all said, he just obstoca. He died carcid
he's the hospital he's dead simple. What do you need
to call it?

Speaker 4 (02:15):
That can't be the only option he's dead to.

Speaker 2 (02:20):

How vindicated is John? You're going to feel when somebody
picks up his phone and says, I told you my God,
Christians with our Lord. Now he's help with us.

Is going to be so hopefully I really hope he's not.
I hope that this is a misunderstanding.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Like when the data ended, did you say let's go out?
Did we talk about going out again? I didn't hear
you say that. How did it end?

Speaker 2 (02:48):
I was just like, I've had a wonderful time, and
he was like me too, have a good day. It
worked wrong.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
I was like me too.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
But that was the last date. But he facetimed after
that many times.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
No, after that date.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
See, you guys facetimed leading up to the date.

Speaker 6 (03:06):
So you guys already had your chemistry by the time
you guys met.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Yeah, yeah, we had facetimed all the way up until
that date.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Okay. See I misunderstood.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I thought that they met and they went on a date,
and they facetimed after that, and then he stopped facetiming.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
So now we met at a bar.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Right right, right?

But now what it tells me is that if you
met at a bar and then you FaceTime that you
went on a real date, then clearly something happened on
the date that made him go, I'm over this girl,
that's what I think.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
Possibly.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Yeah, let's get him on the phone. Richie said, his
name is Christian. I haven't seen my paperwork, kid, Christian? Okay,
I Christian here? Oh yes, it's right here, Christian. Let
us call Christian and see why he's blowing you off.

Impression a middle second ate up that.

You've got Riley and Christian. They met at a bar.
How many weeks ago was that?

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Riley?

Speaker 2 (04:05):
We first met about a month and a half ago,
so I guess six weeks ago.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Okay, let's find out what's going on with this guy, Christian.
Why is he blowing you off? What did you do?
What did you look like? What did you not groom
or take care of on your face?

Speaker 5 (04:20):

Speaker 3 (04:21):
You never saw that during the FaceTime she shows up
in flip flops. Yeah, gross toes?

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Hi is Christian there? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (04:29):
This is Christian?

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Hey, Christian, my name is Peyton.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
I'm with John Jay and Rich and we just wanted
to talk to you on the radio really quickly.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
If you got some time this morning, Yeah, that's fine.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
And man, you went out with a friend of ours, Riley,
and she said you're blowing her off. That you guys
talked a lot for a long time, you went on
a date and had a good time, and we're trying
to figure out why you're blowing her off.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
And just real quick, there's.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
A vibe right now that maybe she showed up in
flip flops and had really ugly feet.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Could that be it?

Speaker 5 (04:58):
No? No, definitely, Well good.

Speaker 3 (05:00):

She called hanging out with you a ten out of
a ten, and so that's why we're calling you, because
she said, she goes.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
I met this guy at a bar.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
We FaceTime every day, and then we went out to
dinner and I never heard him again.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
So can you tell us why?

Speaker 5 (05:14):
Yeah, you know, honestly, like I do feel terrible about
like kind of how things went down. I you know,
really liked her and obviously ghosting her was never the plan.
You know, pretty much everything was going great, but then
my ex found out that I was on a dating
app and had gone on a couple of dates, and

like she just completely lost her mind. Like she showed
up on my place totally unannounced and it was just
like yelling like a maniac. Next thing, I know, she's
swinging a sledgehammer, and yeah, I'm talking about like an
actual sledgehammer. She completely destroyed my phone. I just don't

(05:58):
know how to explain all of this to Riley, Like
it's pretty embarrassing that, you know, I still have an
X that's like losing her mind, but still in my life.
It's just been such a mess. And I know, like
she probably thinks like I, you know, I just don't care,
that's why I disappeared. But it's definitely not the truth.

Like I've just been stuck trying to figure out how
to even begin telling her about what happened.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Oh my gosh, Like I just gotta ask you what
you couldn't call?

Speaker 2 (06:33):
I mean, this sounds insane. I'm so sorry you went
through this.

Speaker 5 (06:40):
Yeah, it's totally insane. I'm like, I didn't know, I
don't know what to do about it.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Like I honestly here, I don't believe him. I mean,
how did we get his number to his burner.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
Fall and.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
I'm saying, what's that direct to my line? My line?
It's just like a temporary phone. I have any capabilities.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Rich You've had a couple of burner phones? Is that
how it works?

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Now? You could call Riley back on my burner phones.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
But we can call him. We can't call him.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
Yeah, we can call him, we can. What are you
talking about?

Speaker 5 (07:15):
Do you have any of my contacts or any.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
O your contact? Well, I just wouldn't be that organized.

Speaker 6 (07:21):
It's actually that kind of like my friend lost her
phone and she had it like that kind of same
thing about okay shot.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Oh yeah, so he's not lying. You don't think he's lying.
That's a part.

Speaker 6 (07:30):
I mean. I've also dealt with people who have exes
who are still very connected and still feel very emotional
about them, and it's been like it's been a real
pain to try to begin a new relationship. So I
kind of see where Christian's hesitation would be. Even if
he did have such a great time with Riley, it's like,
you got it, he's got to deal with the.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
X first, right.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
But I would think that if it was a ten
out of ten and there was some sparks there and
it's been two weeks and his X smashed his phone,
not till he the girl hanging.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
I would have found a way to call her on another.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Phone wherever you probably look, or Facebook and Instagram and
try to just let you know I need to take
a little bre something happened.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
I'll get back to a couple of weeks. But my
phone doesn't work anymore.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
Whatever, Ray, he would have reached out if he really
wanted to.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
How about her though, with a real sledgehammer? Look where
does she get that?

Speaker 1 (08:23):
And the fact that she put it down on the
floor and then grabbed the sledgehammer, and the whole time you.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Were just staying there.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
No that she couldn't kick the phone away like.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
She's winding up kicked the phone away.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
She's as she approaches you with a ninety five pound
sledge hammer in one hand, and she says, give me
your phone.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Why don't you just not give her your phone?

Speaker 6 (08:46):
You know, everything is twenty twenty in hindsight, John Jay,
You're going to do.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
It a situation like that. You know, if if you don't.

Speaker 6 (08:54):
Give her her phone, the phone, is she gonna hate
you with the it's a sledge hammer so heavy.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
She just had a normal hammer. I mean it's like,
whoa bussed out a hammer and came out he broke
my phone. Sure, a sledge hammer, you gotta really work
to get that around. It's a heavy sledge was heavy.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
Yeah, she's really sure. Maybe she's been remodeling something, is
your ex Paul Bunion.

Speaker 5 (09:18):
No, she's definitely not. But like I have like this.
The thing is like I had this like vintage like
sledgehammer in my place, and well that's on you.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
That's on you for leaving weapons around.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Why were you, like, no, not the sledge hammer?

Speaker 4 (09:34):
Yeah?

What is situation to go through?

Speaker 4 (09:41):
I'm sorry, Christian? Did she contentate?

Speaker 3 (09:44):

Ten out of ten? Would you have called it a
ten out of ten?

Speaker 5 (09:48):
I definitely felt like it was a ten out of
ten day And like, I definitely I know, like all
this sounds like absolutely insane. It sounds like I'm like, well,
like had a great.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
Time crazy he x with the sledge or awesome Riley,
who wants to go back out with you?

Speaker 5 (10:04):
I definitely should have like made more of an effort
to like try to find a way to reach her.
It's just a yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
Okay, so do you want to go out with her again? Christian?

Speaker 5 (10:19):
I mean yeah, I would definitely I would love to
go back out with her again.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Riley, do you want to go out with him? Do
you believe that story?

This is a lot to take in. And uh, I
mean I can tell you're not making it up because
it's too crazy to make up. But I wish you
would try to like reach me or like like just
try to explain it. It's kind of like disheartening that
you would just completely ghost me. And this X does

Yeah, I wouldn't go back to his place after a
date if you choose to go back out again.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Well, God, listen, let's just put down a couple of rules. Well,
let's investigate a little bit, Christian. Do you have any
vintage chainsaws in your house? Vintage pickaxe sitting there.

Speaker 3 (11:10):

You hold the garden?
