(00:45):
Mom's part I don't Yeah, Yeah, that's good.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
And your kids are cool.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Yeah that's I don't know if I would say that,
but last night I kind of felt like that. So
you know how it feels when you have a long
day and you see the light at the end of
the tunnel like bedtime is near, right, and you're like, okay,
this is great. So I'm tucking my kids in and Addie,
who's ten years old, she says to.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Me, Oh, no, I forgot.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
I'm supposed to dress up tomorrow. It's like national read
it across America day, I think, and their schools doing
like this thing where you dress up as your favorite
book character. And she proceeds to tell me me and
my friends are dressing up as Thing one, Thing two,
and Thing three. Oh no, oh, oh really tomorrow tomorrow morning,
right now when we're going to bed. And I'm like,
oh my gosh, when did you find out about this?

(01:33):
She's like a couple days ago, but I just forgot
to tell you. And I'm like, oh my gosh. Okay, okay,
let's figure something out. So I go on Amazon and
I'm like, maybe there's something. You know, sometimes they have
things that will come overnight so then by the morning
it'll be here waiting for you on your way to school. Nothing, nothing,
doctor Seuss is going to get here by this morning.

(01:56):
So I'm like, what can I do? And I'm like,
in a minute, I think your little brother has a
red shirt, just a plain red shirt. I said, I
can whip up something on my cricket. So I go
on Etsy. I find the little like the little file
with a Thing one Thing two think three logo on it.
I open up the cricket, I make her a T shirt.

(02:18):
She's got a perfect thing three T shirt right now.
It's like it's like a cutting machine, so I can
take like heat transfer vinyl and like turn it into
something and I'm press it on the shirt.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
I made our jerseys, I made umbrellas with it. I've
made all kinds of things with it. And I looked
at her and she like hadn't even said thank you yet,
And I was like, it's a good thing. Your mom
has a cricket, right, and just randomly had the materials,
and your brother randomly had a plain red shirt, right,
It's pretty good. She's like, yeah, good night, Mom. I'm like,

(02:51):
I've never wanted to stick my middle figure on your face.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
But.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
You've got your shirt. You can dress up with your
friends tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
You are super mom. How long did it take from
when she told you that to when you had the
costume ready to go?

Speaker 3 (03:11):
So she told me that at like seven twenty seven,
and I was back in my room getting ready, like
washing my face, doing my bedtime stuff at eight o'clock.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Unbelievable, you know what? Though She is also her daughter's mother,
there's a theme. Let's stress up tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
You know, I know, but I'm like, hey, I'm like,
maybe next time we could just plan better, like a
little further in advance, and then we could really go
all out.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Did you tell her that you are literally planning Halloween
outfits for us right now? That's how far ahead of it.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Right It's a little bit of lead time and distress
would not be there.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
This is how it starts, this whole bit school. Wow man, well,
good job. I hopefully you get some pic we.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Get thanks, Okay, thank you guys saying you that was
that was a doozy. And then I was like I
look over at Easton and I'm like you too, and
He's like, I'm not dressing up. I'm like, thank god,
good job, buddy.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
I think we opened with the phone lines that we
want to hear your super mom moment eight seven seven
nine three seven one o four seven. You could share
it with us, or superhuman moment, or some moment that
you stepped up saved the day. You happen to me
this morning. This is so weird and I normally don't
talk about this stuff, but you know, I have my
weird morning routine and one of the things I do.

(04:29):
Somebody gave me years ago. It's called the Coach's Bible,
and it's a Bible verse. You look at the date
and then there's a Bible verse, and then there's some
famous coach that tells the story and ties it into
some Bible verse. Right, So this morning I'm reading this
Bible verse and it's about it's a hockey bob story
tied into a Bible verse, and we'll talk about spread

(04:49):
the Word of Jesus. And I just read it myself
and I'm like, ohgain, And I just think about this
verse throughout the day, or however I can make myself
better throughout the day. And I think there's away I
got no reason to talk about hockey or the Detroit
Red Wings. I go to the kitchen to make coffee
this morning and the dude, there's a dude that always
wears a hockey jersey.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Yeah, it's it's like a self prescribed uniform.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
He always wears. He comes in the kitchen and I
just started so I got nothing to say to this guy.
Nothing in Colin And I'm like, hey, hockey jersey, you
know all about the Detroit Red Wings. What happened in
ninety six when they win the Stanley Cup. No some guy.
So they win the Stanley Cup and then the star

(05:32):
player gets in a car accident and goes into a
coma and then he's paralyzed. And then the next year
they win the Stanley Cup again and they brought him
out in the wheelchair, and the place when nuts and
it was all about you know, spending sending a message
and praying for Jesus and all that. It was just
it was a cool story. And I told him that
story and he knew that story.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Wow, I know.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
So that I'm walking backwards. Now my coffee's done, So
now I gotta wrap up, right, I don't really want
to talk to him that.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
You've dropped the gospel last time. To move on.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
I'm backing out holding my cup of coffee as he's
standing in the cock machine and I'm walking backwards and
I'm like, anyway, I hope you find Jesus. Man.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
I thought you were going to quote the first Anyway
Hebrews seventeen.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
It was.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
It was, it was just like, oh, and then I
walked down the hallway by myself and like, oh my god,
I'm doing that thing like would they the Bible to
share it. I'm like spreading the words. I'm spreading the word.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Do you know how you end everything with Christmas wisture?
And I did like that or just go coaches Bible,
just wrap it up just like that.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
That was wild man, it was a trip. So I
feel like, I think it's the first time in my
life like I've spread the word.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Well, I mean, if you put a little God that
guy's heart, that'll be something. Yeah, you know what, I
know what you're saying. That's really actually really funny.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
I put my hand on his forehead.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
I was like, free he didn't.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
You believe even that Jesus.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Starts smoking or anything? Like, you didn't hear like a
demon voice.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Come on, those TV pastors there, they always go, always
tell you said you believe in the word, and they
put their hand on the forehead and then people backwards and.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
They you didn't hear a demon voice in the background.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
This one's wide. I've already caught him, though I felt
that about him before. Yeah, anyway, so the first time
ever you listened to the show for a long time,
I spread the word and uh, and I know I'm
gonnae a bunch of people say, what's the name of
the book. It's called the Coaches Bible. I think you
get it from. Uh, what is f c A. What's
that called f c A? Do what that is? No Athlete,

(07:40):
the Fellowship for Christian Athletes, that's it. Oh yeah, FC Yeah,
that's where I got the Bible from. Anyway, So just
a quick recap. We want to hear your super mom
story eight seven, seven, nine, three, seven, one oh four seven,
and I'm spreading the word of Jesus.
