messages John Jay and Richard. Listen to the podcast. I'm
(00:45):
a millennial and I have twenty five thousand photos in
my photo gallery. Because we were talking about that the
other day. I think, Kyle, you and I have.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
More than that, right, I don't know exactly how many
I have because there's like a bunch of different folders.
So yeah, it's probably, I mean, it's probably similar close
to that.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Yeah, I have a lot. I have ten thousand photos
at least of just Kyle Weird. Oh here it is.
I have two hundred and six thousand photos, are you kid?
Speaker 2 (01:12):
That's pretty amazing. I am upset because I've been searching
for a time frame in my life's photos. It's like
right after, like right after I found out I was
pregnant with Easton, and then kind of like right before
he was born, like my baby shower for him. Like
I can't find the pictures anywhere, and I'm like so
bummed about it because I still haven't finished his baby book.
(01:34):
He's seven, and it's because I can't find those photos.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Maybe I have them, Maybe you do. Let me look
through your photos ago.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
I know it only take me like ten years.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
Another Texas says, did you guys start a four day
work week? Seems like your show a Monday was a rerun.
Good for you, guys, but let us know Monday was
a holiday holiday day day we were off.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Oh and trust me, I would love a four day.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
Work but you'd want it to Friday Friday.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Yeah, I mean I would take it whenever I can
get it. Yeah, Monday, it feels like more natural to
start the week, and then Friday would be more natural
to take the dath. Great idea. We should submit that
to our management.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
I mean, we just got we just got here in
the middle of a week, so Texas, just like that,
we'll read your text message or we'll get you on
the air. You text JJR and whatever's on your mind.
To ninety six, eight ninety three. So Kyle's kids were
in here yesterday. I forgot to tag you in a
video I took. Do you see the video I took?
It's okay, So you're about to go on TV. Kyle's
doing the thing on TV. Your daughter's standing behind you
(02:31):
right and I'm filming her and I'm like's you could
tell she wants to do something? And I'm like, do it,
just do it? And then you see Kyle's hand her
arm from behind. Go wa.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
As I told her, I said, Addie, do you want
to come on and do a TV hit with me?
I'd be pretty fun. You could sit on my lap,
you could talk, it'd be great. No, I don't want
to do that. I don't want to do that. And
I'm like, okay, well, then just go sit over there.
And she starts poking my back and like moving me
and I don't want to look weird, so I'm like
arms and then eventually like she kept doing that and
(03:05):
like running in and out of the frame. So eventually,
like the host of the TV show that we're doing
hit with were like, something's happening in the background, like
that's my daughter, and then she got on the la
I was like, that should have just been laid that
from the first place. Yeah, no, they're they're definitely characters.
And they didn't have school yesterday so they had a
(03:28):
four day weekend, lucky them, so that's why they were
dropped off here at work. And afterwards, I was like,
so many more activities. You guys have so much time today,
what are we going to do? So we decided like
we were going to go to a park, and we
were trying to figure out what park we were going
to go to, and there's this park in our old
neighborhood that we loved and there's nobody ever there. So
it's like great because they would get the whole place
(03:48):
of themselves.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
So we were talking about that.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Addie was really into that idea, and Easton was like,
you know what, No, I want to go to a
bigger park with more people because then I can make
some new friends. And Addie goes absolutely not. She and
it was like it was so funny because it was
like I was. It was there was like a mini
Rich and a mini John Jay in the car with
me at that moment.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
And Addie is a virgo just.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Like John Jay. And she goes to my son, she goes, yeah,
what are you gonna do? Just like go talk to
a bunch of randoms, Like I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
You don't need to be like talking.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
To people, like, oh my gosh, Easton just wants to
make friends. He just wants to meet people over there.
Diag laughing because I didn't want to interject, because the
more they talked, the more I was just laughing, and
it was just total. Their personalities are so different in
(04:41):
that sense. It's like ADDIE's very reserved and it takes
her a while to open up to people and like
sort of become friends. And Easton just wants to be
friends with everybody. And I'm like, oh my gosh, I know.
I know these personalities. I live with them every day
at work.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
Them. So the next evolution being kids. Let me tell
you this, this this happened to my house. So my
son Jake is about to graduate at college. Right, So
he's twenty two years old, and he's got a project
he has to do in his media arts class. And
my wife comes down the stairs the other day. She's
got him on speaker phone and she's coming down the
(05:17):
stairs and she says, jaw Jay and she's like, uh,
Jake has a project he has to do for media
arts where he has to interview somebody in media who
has got a history, who's got like, has some success.
And so as a dad in my brain, I'm like, oh, okay, kid,
you're about to ask me if you can interview me.
(05:37):
I mean, we do these interviews all the time, and
kids in college all around the country, they'll come in
or they'll call in. So I'm like getting out and ready,
like when can you do a dad? Can I interview you?
And then she goes, h and anyway, he wants to
know if you can ask Mark Mark. Mark's our boss.
And I'm like, first of all, Ken, he not speak,
He's he's on the phone, like and you say that, dad,
(05:59):
interview Mark? Do you think you can do a zoom
with me? And we could talk about his career? And
I'm like, I look at Blake, I'm like really, And
then Blake goes, what about Rich? Could he interviewed Rich?
And I'm like, I'm looking at I'm like, yeah, I
guess I can. I'll ask him, and then we hang
up and I look at it, go, hey, what about me?
(06:20):
What about doing freaking podcast interviews about my career? Get
to where I am at this level? Does not my
son want to ask me? And she's like, I guess
we could have done that if you want to get
I was like, I was like washed. I was like what,
like literally like I had like a problem. It was
(06:41):
so like a felt like a pac Man living so
that I walked into our boss's office. I'm like, hey,
is it cool my son liked to interview you for
this project. He's like, yeah, I love to win. I
don't know, man, you guys, you guys handling.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
As far as my secretary I needed here.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
You media things. Maybe I'm not a media He's like,
all this happens. Oh so now I'm like sending my
son video of whatever I do an interview on TV.
I sent my son an interview. Oh hey, check out
this podcast I did. They want to talk to me
about my career. Look at these.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
People who wanted to find out about my career.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
But sorry, Jake's like, I just thought you were love Poppy,
my dad. No, I'm not just your dad.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
That's so it.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
You aren't just dad. Jeez man,
