Speaker 1 (00:01):
So I think we've worked with Kyle for a long
time on the show, like fifteen years. Maybe it's just
rounded out and I've not heard you laugh. But I
don't think I've ever made you laugh as hard as
what happened earlier this morning.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
You see her laughing, Her head fell back.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Your laugh was my head falls back when I laughed
hard this.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
But I've never seen that.

Speaker 5 (00:19):
Listen to this, that's.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
Kind of hard day.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
I'll write that down on my journal today of the
things that made things that I learned today. So the
other day we're talking about things. This guy had a
thermos stuck up inside him. Who's what's inside you? And Amanda? Amanda?

Speaker 4 (00:55):
What's inside you? Amanda?

Speaker 6 (00:59):
You're talking to me?

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Yeah, what's inside me? I guess I was being funny.
I said coffee. I really don't know. Oh really, well,
thanks for calling in.

Speaker 5 (01:10):
Okay, okay, coffee works.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
She has coffee instead of blood running through her veins.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
Probably have a little extra energy, apparently.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
What's what's the new iPhone? Like Rich got the new iPhone?

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Here it is.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Everyone looks just like the old iPhone. It's really heavy.
Feel how heavy?

Speaker 2 (01:31):
What number?

Speaker 4 (01:31):
What number? Phone? Is this?

Speaker 3 (01:32):
This is seventeen pro max I Go fourteen. There's already
a seventeen.

Speaker 7 (01:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
The camera is pretty good. That's one thing I'll say.
It's pretty fast too.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
This is a pape of feather compared to.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
It's really heavy.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
Don't you think she's saying, Okay, I'm touching iPhones.

Speaker 7 (01:53):
It's look a little bit different than camera on the
back is different.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
The camera is really good. It's really fast, you know
how like when you which one from one iPhone to
the other. It happened pretty quick for me. Like I
would say normally that takes like all night. It took
me like fifteen minutes.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Okay, So how does what's the difference? Have you noticed?
They feel equally as heavy.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
The only thing that I forget is when you switch
iPhones is how you have to reconnect to all your
work email and then your car just recognize your phone.
So all that stuff that John Jay you would hate
setting up with.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
What's the benefit of it?

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Like my wife wants to get us to go get
the new iPhones because we have the fourteens and there's
things that we.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Cameras do sound pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
The cameras are very nice.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Is that it did they change anything else up is it?

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Other than it's faster, the battery lasts a lot longer,
Like you could probably go three or four.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
Days and the battery lasted longer.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
It was a pitch last time, Yes, and it worked
for like a day.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
The iPhone where they have like the air version.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
So they do have the super super Noah has that?

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Oh does he?

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah? And his is super light okay, but then again,
I don't like good to have stereo speakers on it.
You can't live like that. Okay, you can live like
with that stereo. Life is too short for crap all show.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Is it worth it? No?

Speaker 3 (03:03):
If you have one that's working, okay, just get the
new OS because I do like the new operating system,
but I wouldn't go crazy to get yourself on the answer.

Speaker 7 (03:10):
My question for you the rich, you're the one that's
always up on the tech. You always get the new
iPhone weeks after it releases. Was there ever an iPhone
drop that you were like, oh my gosh, this is
the next big thing.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
I think with the difference is that it used to
be that they'd make these giant leaps and technology, and
Apple doesn't do that anymore. They just kind of inch
it forward a little bit. We're like Samsung will have
something completely new and different that nobody's ever seen before.
I don't think Apple's in that game. I think they
just make it a little bit better every time, just
a little bit.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Well, if you're like my wife and I, we got
the fourteen and we just need to upgrade, so might
as we'll just get the seventeen, you might as well
way more expensive the same thing.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Well, I did a trade in so mine, you know,
I don't. I don't really buy mine. I just do
the Once a new one comes out, you get an
upgrade because the technology is changing all the time, So
you might as well not come it cash.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Like you have eighteen t and it's like you make
monthly payments.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
And make a monthly payment with my bill, and then
when the new one comes out, you get the new one.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Okay, I hope that's what we have. I'm not sure
you should. By the way, I gotta give painting some credit.
She talked about this show called Chad Powers on Hulu.
It's pretty damn good. It's I'm three episodes in. Oh really, yeah,
it's pretty funny, it's got a little bit, it's it's
it's a ripoff of Eastbounding Down with Kenny Powers, and
it's trying to be a little bit of Ted Lasso.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Okay, so it's irreverent and also charmings.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, the guy, you don't like the guy,
you do like the guy, and then there's some lessons
and then it's just that it's just it's pretty funny.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
There's some laugh out loud are.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
You rooting for the anti hero kind of thing, like when.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
He can't he gets put on the spot, he can't improvise,
and he just like.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Oh, COVID, COVID, it's whatever. That part is funny.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
I know, I'm talking about every time someone's sick, it's
the COVID nineteen virus. And Glenn Powell wrote and produced
a lot of these things. I don't know, it makes
you like him more as an actor because he's so funny,
and I mean there's stuff that crosses the line.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
I mean, like, you know, yeah, there's some cancelable things. Yeah,
Power says.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Yeah, there's and does like there's just some things like
what the heck?

Speaker 1 (05:06):
I mean, it's just I'm not expecting that anymore on TV.
But it's it's it's really good I recommend it. The
only problem, Kyle, it is.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
On Hulu, which is why I have watched.

Speaker 7 (05:17):
You would really like it, Kyle, Like I think it
would be worth jumping through the hoops to go onto Hulu.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
There is no shoe, no shoe, no shoe or show.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Pin goes uh like, recommend it. And I brought up, oh, yeah,
how to of girls on there? And she's like, she
is hawk to a girl like a big party, big
part in the first five minutes where they say hock
to a girl and they used that phrase over and
over and over again.

Speaker 7 (05:41):
I must have been making Myzza rolls at that time.

Speaker 8 (05:44):
Girls here, the hawk to girls here. Yeah, don't call
me hawk to a girl. My name is Hailey. And
then and then how to a girl goes uh. Don't
tell people you know me? Why hawk to a girl?
Like Pyton not see that.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
I'm so happy you're here because I used to be
the one on the show that watched the least amount
of TV when I was watching it. Payton takes the crowd, Yeah,
you may have the crowd.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Hey, we need to contest it for minute to win it.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Call us right now eight seven, seven, nine three seven
one oh four seven your chance of winning Pat Hicky
and pure Fords thousand dollars.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
We do it after Alex Warren, so real quick before
play minute to win it.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
We were talking about the new iPhone that came out right,
and I guess right when we were talking about it,
I got a phone call.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
I didn't pick it up, and they left the voicemail message,
get this.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
The payment of one ninety nine dollars for the recent
order of Apple iPhone seventeen pro on your account. If
you do not authorize this payment, please press one to
speak to our customers.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
I do not authorize that I did not order an iPhone.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Are you sure your wife didn't?

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Yeah, but she.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Wouldn't know which one I want because her and I
have different iPhones. Like I like the small one, she
gets the big one. Like isn't that weird? That would
just get a folk.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Call toutched it in order one about.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
Your family first, and then I think, yeah, you might
have had someone never.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Ever and our lives have anyone gone and ordered a
phone without especially your husband and wife, without talking about
what phone you want?

Speaker 4 (07:25):
You know what I'm saying, Like, I don't think she
would make it.

Speaker 5 (07:27):
She you have ordered that for herself and you guys
are on the same account, so you get it.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
You could have done a million things.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
But what I'm saying is we just talked about it,
and I got a Voicemil message and I ordered to
seventy mine dollar phone.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Which I don't want to pay it.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
That's pretty fasted for her phone. That's why you should
just lease it.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Hi, Melanie, Hi, Hello, all right, you got a thousand
dollars on the line, could be yours thanks to Pat
Haicky and Peeria Ford.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
I really like your chances. Sixty seconds on the clock, Melanie,
let's go finish the title of this new album by
Taylor Swift, Life of a Blank show Girl. If you're
ordering something that is short tall, CONTI tee. Where are you, Starbuck?
What car maker makes the Corolla, Camray and fore Runner Toyota?

Speaker 4 (08:08):
In?

Speaker 3 (08:09):
What country? Would you find Mount Olympus in the United States.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Or something?

Speaker 3 (08:25):
It is grease or something? In fact, it is Greece. Yeah,
oh man, you were on fire there.

Speaker 6 (08:30):
Mel Oh gosh, I suck.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
No.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
I would have got that wrong for sure.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
I think under pressure, these are tough.

Speaker 9 (08:40):
Oh god, I listened.

Speaker 10 (08:41):
What time I can get this?

Speaker 6 (08:42):
I can get this but yeah, thanks felt me.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Once that clock starts taking the pressure.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
Yeah, I know for sure.

Speaker 6 (08:53):
All right, thanks guys, Oh.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Richard, I know I feel bad when you can weigh
that money.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
Let's get an update and rich being married for two years?

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Yeah, which, which, what do you know about first? Stacy
and her drunk friends.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
Yeah, started runk friends.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
So over the weekend, one of Stacy's galpals had a
birthday and they decided it was going to be kind
of a little bit of a They're going to get
a little little sauced. So they took the party back
to our house and they were both getting sauce to
the point where her friend was starting to do that
thing where she was starting to waiver, and you could

(09:28):
tell that if we didn't get her home right away,
she was going to fall fall asleep and pass out.
And then we're stuck with her for the weekend. She
wasn't going to go anywhere. So I'm literally standing her
up and saying, Stacy and I are going to take
you home. We have to take you home. So we
we sort of usher her out, I mean literally, because
she's starting to fall asleep, usher out, get her in

(09:48):
my truck, and I'm driving towards her house and I said, Stacy,
where does she live? She's like, well, I don't know.
I forgot. So then I'm asking her friend. I'm like,
I know we're in your neighborhood, but what street is her?
She's like this one that says dead end. And so
we turned down the street and she is all, none
of these are my houses. I said, okay, can you
text me your address? I'll put in my nave and

(10:10):
then I can I can get you inside your house
and everything will be okay. So she texted me the
address for Red Robin, somewhere in Gilbert. That's not her
shouldn't live at Red Robin. So we finally get her
to her house, and now Stacey's a little you know,
she's tired at this point. So she's like, let's just
watch her and make sure she gets into the house

(10:32):
before we take off. So I kind of back up
a little bit and I put my headlights in the
door and I don't see the door open for a
good thirty seconds. And I'm looking and I'm looking like, well,
I see a cat outside, but I don't see her.
I go, do you want me to check to make
sure that she's gotten inside her house because she looks
like she's drifted behind like a like a big stucco
poll and I don't see her door opening. I don't

(10:54):
know where she went. So I walk out and she
literally had drifted to the right, was leaning her house
that had fallen asleep, standing against her house. She was lit. Finally,
I went, hey, are you okay? She's like, I got
my key, I got my key. Everything's great. So she
got inside and I checked the next morning. I'm like,

(11:14):
you know, I deal with drunk people when my band
plays in bars, but never like this in a long time,
maybe not since I was just twenty one. Have I
seen anybody in my world? Well maybe besides our wedding,
that blitch. But I didn't have to be responsible for
anybody at all. So anyway, she's okay, she's fun, she's
fun to hang out.

Speaker 4 (11:32):
Okay, drunk at Rich's house.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
I'm getting out of there because you know what's next.
You couldn't throw up at some point? Did get her
home safely, because I throw up is gonna happen soon.
I don't need any of that. He's terrified.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
I was like, speaking of drunk women, do you gu
see the video I post some Instagram this morning. No, okay,
get this. Let me tell you the story for you. Look,
I'm driving in this morning. It's pitch black outside, and
I see this little dog running in front of me
in the street, like like darting.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
Like I'm like, whoa is that a dog? Yet not
a dog because it was far away and it was
a little dog.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
So I get closer and this woman comes running out
in the street and she's got three or four tree
branches in her hand, and she's barefoot, and she's chasing
after the dog. And then she she stops in the
middle of the street and walks slowly to the side
of the street where the dog is. And then I'm like,
does she need my help? That she So I immediately
grab my phone and start filming. So I'm filming. I

(12:24):
rolled down the window and about to ask her if
she needs help, and she turns around and she looks
at me, and she's got a cigarette in her mouth
and she's clearly affected the zombie disease that looks like.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
And then I got scared and I left.

Speaker 7 (12:35):
Yeah, he does a double take at you, like what
does this guy want? Like you were the weird one
in that situation that.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
Happened right here, right that window.

Speaker 3 (12:46):
Scary area, right, anybody walking around at that time of
the morning here in our neighborhood, that's bad news.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
I had worked here since two thousand and six, and
I've never seen anything like that what I saw this
morning and yesterday I got it. I'm parking in a
new place now in the area because I get more steps,
and I'm walking in yesterday and I see this guy.
Looks he's about seven feet seven feet two, white guy
jogging in our parking lot, coming out of nowhere, out
of the freeway. The freeway's right there, so I filmed

(13:12):
him jogging.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
I might post I saw that.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
I thought you did post that.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Did you post?

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Nobody? I haven't posted on my feet.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
I put on the story, okay, because now I might
have a new segment on my Instagram of people in
our parking lot.

Speaker 5 (13:20):
Yeah, well, get people of Walmart, of our parking lots
taken over.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
But what I'm trying to understand, Like, I get she
has the dog and she's barefoot. Maybe she's a drug addict,
But I don't understand the tree branches, like lots of
tree branches.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
Where is me for the dog?

Speaker 2 (13:34):
She wasn't hurting it. I know she was making a
bed for it.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
No, she was coming out there, she was they were
moving like she wasn't making a bed for it. Oh,
oh Nick, you know, Oh oh take this call.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
Okay, Oh yeah, Nick had a figure. Hi Nicole. I
was like, Ni, Nick, that's my wife. Yeah, Nick, go ahead, Nicole.

Speaker 6 (13:52):
Oh, do not call back that number. And if they
call you, don't answer it and give them any information.
It's a scam.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
Oh you're talking about the the iPhone that says about
an iPhone?

Speaker 10 (14:02):
Yeah, okay, yeah, if you actually did order it, like
I ordered mine from AT and T, and AT and
T texted me and emailed me like a confirmation, you're
not going to get some random.

Speaker 9 (14:13):
Call being like press one blah blah blah. Like that's
a total scam. And sometimes I'll get it in my
iCloud account like oh, your your iPhone order with placed
blah blah blah.

Speaker 6 (14:26):
And you look at the receipt and it looks legit.
But then if you look at where the email is
coming from, it's some random long email that doesn't make sense,
and so you just like, you know, put it ads junk.
But yeah, don't don't call that person back, and do
not press one.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Okay, never press one.

Speaker 9 (14:45):
My phone.

Speaker 6 (14:46):
When you were saying I'm like, oh my god, don't
do that please, I'm glad I didn't.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
Thanks for listening. Have a wonderful day.

Speaker 6 (14:51):
Yeah you too, Thanks guys.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
