Speaker 1 (00:00):
A couple of text messages in reference to what your

(00:01):
dog ate this for you?

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Oh number, says John Dyan and Rich My pity Roco,
who we rescued for free, swallowed a sock a small
stuff animal, basically anything you get when you first got him.
That sockcuster of three thousand dollars. Most expensive sock ever. Recently,
he ate an entire pack of gum. I freaked out.
Luckily it was one of the few brands made with
a different sweetener. He's also allergic to the world, so

(00:23):
he has special food and Med's most expensive free dog ever.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
My old dog Dory would eat my underwear hole Indy's.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
She would even she would inevitably barf them up in
front of any guests we had. I would have to
buy new undies constantly to replace what I lost to
her panty snacking.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
That is so embarrassing the dog coming out.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
I gotta take these.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Oh man, Okay, So Peyton, well you were gone in Europe?

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Did you watch any TV shows? I mean on the plane,
I would assume.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Yeah, I actually did. I watched the Gabby Potato documentary,
which was insane, absolutely insane. I have a lot of
opinions on that, and then I also watched Scream Queens,
which is like, I know it's an older show, but
I binged it and it's so good. That was on
Fox for it was on Fox, and then you can
watch it. I think it's on like Hulu or something

(01:11):
like that. But it's like Emma roberts Keiki Palmer, Ariana Grande,
Glen Powell, like Jamie Lee Curtis, like it's so good.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
It's such a good show.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
Yeah, but I watched it. I was like, now you're
like really.

Speaker 5 (01:22):
Famous, you talking about us.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Show?

Speaker 6 (01:31):
Like the first season? Did you watch both seasons? The
first season is undeniably.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
Good, yes, and I like when I finished season two,
I was like, Okay, this is good, but season one
is way better.

Speaker 6 (01:41):
Ariana Grande says something so gross in the first season
that's not repeatable on radio.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
But I think about it all the time, dude, and
I don't really.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Like what is what what it's on on Hulu.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
I'm watching Paradise. Didn't we get the Paradise yet? Okay,
that's it's pretty damn good. Because of Grant, I watched
Zero Day Morning.

Speaker 6 (02:07):
I'm like, I got about halfway through the second episode
and I just was like, I.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Watched the whole thing all because of you, because said, yeah,
you said.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
You were through the first episode. The first episode was
pretty heat like, it was a good.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
That's all I've watched it.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
It was a pretty good episode.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Will you finish it please? Because here's let me tell
you what I don't know. I've watched it. There's only
six episodes. I've watched all six, and I didn't like it.
I don't this is gonna sound I'm gonna I'm gonna
critique Robert DeNiro really bad. I don't think at this
moment he's a very good actor. Yes, he used to
be a great actor. It's almost like he's not believable
as a former president of United States. It should have
been Harrison Ford. Harrison Ford have been great on that show.

(02:52):
And then when it ends, I don't think I'm smart
enough to understand the show.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
That sucks.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
I'm like, what happened?

Speaker 5 (02:57):
But that I'll tell you what that first?

Speaker 6 (02:59):
Uh, when you're watching it for the first fifteen minutes
and he meets with the lady who's gonna write his
book and she leaves.

Speaker 5 (03:05):
When the thing happens, it's awesome.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Wait, so you still don't know what happened.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
I don't know if I care. Right, it's like.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Number two on Netflix right now. And then there's I
started that.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I finished White Lotus, the first episode of White Lotus,
which again I don't understand what people are into that show.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Oh it's good.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
I love it this second.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
I want third season.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
And here the second season, and so you were really
getting into it.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
This is the third season. They dropped two episodes. I
watched the first episode.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Hear it.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
What I was gonna say.

Speaker 6 (03:31):
Here's my thought about the White Lotus in general, is
it's incredible because it makes time slow down. It's the
only TV show that feels like three hours when you
watch forty.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
Two minutes of television's I know it's awful. You don't
like it?

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Why do you like it?

Speaker 7 (03:47):
Okay, So I'm trying to figure out why I would
recommend this show to somebody, and I don't know that
I could. But did I wait for the second episode
and watch it last night? I think it was wildly entertaining.
I don't know I did. I just enjoy the characters,
the dialogue, the scenery.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
I think it's all really compelling.

Speaker 7 (04:04):
I know it's got to get to someplace a little faster,
but I assume it's going to get there. The second
season was it ended with a bang. I assume this
one's good. This one started with a bang.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (04:12):
It just it's like everyone on the show is the
least likable character that's part of all the family suck.
Like everybody sucks on that show.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Right, They're in this resort in Thailand and they're just
not happy, all of them.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
I'd be so extoked if I got a week at
that place. It doesn't make you want to.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Go to.

Speaker 7 (04:30):
It.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
I like, you guys finished Dexter the original sin.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Oh yeah, oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
I I finished it and I wanted more, so I'm
now rewatching the original series.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
Oh seriously, it's so good because I'm watching it and
like the casting's crazy actually, like Dexter really looks like Dexter.
That's trippy, and I'm like at the part with the finger,
but I haven't gotten that much, so I'm like it's
getting good. It was a little boring in the beginning,
and now it's getting good. I think, yeah, it's good.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Okay, so sick yeah by like by like the last episode,
you're like, oh, I can't wait for the next season.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Payton, did you watch we beat the Dream Team?

Speaker 4 (05:02):
I didn't, but I went, yeah, I thought it's the
guys that went to go play against like Michael Jordan,
and that.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
The college team that's on Max HBO.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Max's familiar with the story, but I haven't watched The Doctor.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Well, the quick story is they put together the Dream Team.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
The United States lost in the Olympics, and they're the
ones that evented basketball.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
So they've made a rule and how pros can play.
It was a big deal. So they put together the.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Best pros ever thinking that they would never lose. So
what team was going to practice against the pros? That
team that was going to practice against the pros probably
would have been the team that goes to the Olympics. Right,
So it's Bobby Hurley, it's Grant Hill. It's a bunch
of basketball that are legends now. So they play the
Dream Team. They beat the Dream Team at practice on
a scrimmage, and there's no footage of it, and it's

(05:46):
just been all rumors for thirty years.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Oh wow, but then Grant Hill found the footage.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Oh wow.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
So now it's Michael Jordan, it's Maggie Johnson, it's Charles
Barklay and they're all talking about this game and then
there's a credible twist at the end that's like, whoa,
it's really good.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Yeah, that's right up. My ally I watch that? Is
that the LA Olympics, the one that I think was Barcelona? Okay,
because my grandma was telling me that the last LA
Olympics or whatever in like fifty something, my grandma went
and she said she left the basketball game because she
felt like our like our USA team wasn't humble and
she like walked out. So I didn't know if it
was that same game. Maybe the LA Olympics were like

(06:22):
eighty four or eighty four or something like that. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
And then there's another show on Netflix. It's Top ten
right now. It's called Gold Court. Have you seen that yet?
That's all about the Summer Olympics all but I didn't
know that's what it was called.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Yeah, I watched that.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Yeah, I don't know that's what it was called.

Speaker 6 (06:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
I was interesting, But they need to do one for
the women's Oh that's my opinion.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
No, No, I told you I'm waiting.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Oh I thought you were waiting for some more. I was.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
I'm caught up to like episode four, okay, I think,
and I think they've dropped three episodes since then, maybe
watching four episodes at a time. I'm excited to see
it again. But I have been watching Dexter, the original Dexter,
and I cannot stop watching that. And then you told
me reach your season three drops so I started that
it was pretty good, and then I watched an episode

(07:06):
of Zero Day and it was good.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
But wait, how far are you in reach your season three?
Just the first episode? Did you finish the worst episode?
I don't know if I finished it at the very beginning.
There's things that happen that are like very not Reacher, like, yes, right.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
I was like, what's well, yes, I did finish because
he's like I'm in.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Yeah, okay, yeah. I was like, what he wouldn't do that.
I can't believe that happened. And then he explained something.
I was like, ok, I like that Reacher show a lot. Man,
it's a good show.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
It's on Amazon Prime because you know what's funny is
I was looking for it on Netflix and I'm like,
I can't find it, and then I had to google
where it streamed because it's been a while since the
second season.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
But it's on Amazon Prime.

Speaker 7 (07:40):
Did you finish the movie that I think you? Grant
and I all started at the same time that let's
start a cult.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Did you know I got it's so funny. I finished
fifteen minutes and it's hilarious.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
Yeah, it's good. It's the whole thing. Is that consistently good?

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Oh it is? You finished it? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (07:54):
I finished it. I thought it was great.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
I do want to start that Netflix show.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
It's in the top ten.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
It's the search for Instagram's wor con artist or something
like that.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
Commander that looks good.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Yeah, and know why because there's this there's that's the
thing that we're talking about. Grant and I've been talking about.
It's the girl that said she had brain cancer? Right?

Speaker 4 (08:10):
Is that the upple Vinegar?

Speaker 8 (08:13):
It was just the real documentary about the girl. And
it's Yeah, you should watch Apple Fider Vinegar.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
It's coreat well if you just watch it, you watch
a teaser for that show. They asked the girl, so
did you have chemotherapy in nineteen ninety five and she's like, well,
I thought i'd answered the question, Dade you have chemotherapy?

Speaker 1 (08:33):
And I'm like, man, I gotta watch it.

Speaker 8 (08:34):
Well and then there's another show on Hulu that just
dropped called Scamanda that is very similar. It's like the
American version of a cancer scam artist and it's wild.
Like I recommend that one for sure. It's four episodes,
it's great.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
All right. So I got to bounce something off you guys.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
And I've been waiting to hit this, waiting to tell
you guys this just because it's it's kind of stupid,
but I can't stop thinking about it. So my entire life.
I was six four right in college and they measured me.
I had to do all the stuff for you standing.
It was was so I'm going it was six '
four and then.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
And then.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
A couple of years ago when my son started playing basketball,
I went to get their measuring him and I was like,
let me measure myself.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
And I was under six four and I was like, huh.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
And I figured my spine, you know, getting older doing whatever,
my spine shrank, so I could see myself.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
I was like six three and three quarters.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Last week here at the radio station, they hired a
new guy down the hall, a new producer for one
of the shows. And I saw that they they were
interviewing him and he said he was six to one.
And I was going to the bathroom the other day
and we passed each other and I could swear he
was taller than me. And I'm like, that guy six one,
he's taller than me. I'm like, how can I And
I'm like, what can I shrink?

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Is that possible?

Speaker 3 (09:53):
I think people do? But yeah, but not that much.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
He was wearing a hat. Huh, and like the hats
that said even there a little higher build. Yeah, but
she was wearing hat.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
And I've never cared about my height ever because I've
always just been taller than most people.

Speaker 5 (10:07):
Yeah, you're Dutch.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
All Dutch people are tall.

Speaker 5 (10:09):
I learned that there got that Viking blood.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
But I was just so like I wrote it down.
I was like and like I walked by him again
and he was tall. I gotta pay attention to he
has a hat, that might be that'd be great if
he has.

Speaker 5 (10:22):
A hat on what if you're what if you are
now five eleven?

Speaker 4 (10:30):
Probably really like probably like six three next to someone
and someone goes, I remember what time this guy who
was six four said to me, you're not six four?

Speaker 1 (10:38):
And and I go, well, I have really bad posture.
So when we stood up next to each other. I
was taller. You kind of slumped over, slouch over. But
I just couldn't believe that you walk with a slouch. Yeah,
it's true.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Yeah, and then maybe you were walking with your slouch
and that's why he seemed taller than you.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
I work with sure people wearing like normal shoes. She's not.
She's walking around barefoot or whatever it is. It's like,
oh my god, you're so tunny.
