Speaker 1 (00:00):
Mariah, good morning, Hey morning, good morning. How can we
help you?

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Good morning, Hi. I need some help because I feel
like I am being punked in my own house. My
husband keeps saying, this is our love up moment. But
our elderly neighbor has been coming over every day to
use our shower every day.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Cross Wait, why what he's going on at your neighbor's house.
That's nothing.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
That is a good question. That is a good question.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
I'm pretty sure. I'm not sure if he has a shower.
I don't know what the deal is there. But his wife,
his wife knows too. It's not like he's alone. His
wife knows that she's doing that, and she sends cookies
as a thank you.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
That's nice using our shower.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
And I'm not gonna lie. Those cookies are fire.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
It's not.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Really said much yet, but there's like a line right
this man. It's just he's basically a tenant now, Like
he's coming in with a towel on his shoulder, like
he lists here chatting about the matter.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
So she doesn't need to use the shower. No, she
doesn't need to use your shower, just he needs to
use your shower.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
That's tim Okay, to be fair, we did install a
new shower over last summer, and it is it is
very nice.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
It is a very nice.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
And we did show them the shower and we jokingly
we're like, oh yeah, you can very any time.

Speaker 5 (01:33):
How he is, I'm he's coming over every d to
use our shower and our husband and my husband's like, yes,
this is great, But I like, how do I tell
this weedle't man, no more shower time without feels like
I'm kicking out a golden Retriever in the rain.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
I wouldn't be with your husband. I'd be like, I
guess he showers here?

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Now, I don't think i'd have he does he come
over like it like if he's got an early day,
because over six am to use your shower earning money shower?
Is it just every day at noon? Like, but it's
gonna be somewhat convenient for you.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
It's like a reasonable time. It's like eight am. He's
coming over from home. It's not you know, both of
us work from home. You know, it's not like nobody's
here or anything, and he's coming over to you. It's
our shower, but he just it's just not like every day.
And I'm like Hey, this is gone on.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Well, what if you don't answer the door when he knocks,
Like what if you're on vacation, but if you're not home,
Like it's like it doesn't make sense.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Signs the key under the mat.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Like if you're in the hustle and bustle at eight am,
like most people are listening to the show. You're getting
your kids ready for school, or you're running around getting dressed,
making toast. You're hustling, and all of a sudden, mister
Hinderman comes and knocks on the door and wants to
come and use your shower. It's like, that's so weird.
Is very maybe once or twice because his shower's broken
and something's getting remodeled. Maybe, but even then I don't

(02:52):
know if I would do that. But still it's so weird,
you know what I mean? And now he does it
every day. It's weird, and his wife's okay with it.
What is she doing making the cookies? Does she's using
the other neighbors shower the other side of and is
here question?

Speaker 4 (03:09):
She was? She was?

Speaker 2 (03:10):
She was he like dirty before? Like was he just
like a seaky guy just waiting for the right shower?
And then and that's why she's like grateful. He's like,
say the cookies.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Yeah, she's grateful because he's not dirtying up her shower.
She's got her own shower now. And is he using
like your loofah and you're soap il.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Oh my god, I didn't even think about that.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Wow, would you not think about that?

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Gros He just walks in with a towel.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
You gotta get him his own stash.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
You know what, our new shower does have like a steamer,
and so that's I was like, Okay, it's got like
a steam option. And so I was like, oh, maybe
just like that, he's coming over to get steaming. But
now you've put a whole like other element into it
that is freaking me out. You need to send him
the link so he can get the shower for his
own house.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
And that's like a nice hint. I had a friend
of mine, a friend of mine, he was a professional
baseball player, and he would go to the He would
always go to Tucson for spring training, and the shower
in the hotel that he lived in for three months sucked.
So he would buy his own shower head and put
it in the shower. And he told me. He was
a game changer, and so I went and I bought
that shower head put in my house, and he was unbelievable.

(04:19):
It was literally a game changer. Shower you can get it. Yeah,
you go, here's a shower head for you, mister Smith.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
I think you're going to miss him when he starts
showering in his own place. Think you guys are going
to have a little hole.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
In your life.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Hey, you want to come over? And maybe.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
I'm right. Thanks for calling in.

Speaker 1 (04:36):

in and sharing that with us.

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today.
