Speaker 5 (03:01):
You guys.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Oh my gosh, you guys are so.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
I literally thought him, like, there's gonna be one more
go ahead.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
So I I recently got a new car, by recently
like two days ago.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
And by the way, whole lie you live in Peoria.
We do commercials for Peoria Ford. Pat he gave from
Peria for it's giving away money, but you didn't get
a car there. But that's okay. I think Pat understands
the business right and that's okay. So go ahead.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
I'm gonna get an angry text from Pat later.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
He didn't care.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
So I have I previously I.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Had a twenty twenty Sonata that was pretty decked out,
but it was missing like a moon roof and stuff
like that.

Speaker 5 (03:43):
The missing missing a moon roof.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
That I like, like it should have been there. You
could tell, like you didn't cut.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
Hole in the top of the car, guys.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
And so I've I've been dreaming about getting the newest Sonata,
which looks amazing. It looks like it's straight out of
the future. Wanted one for a while, but it's been
out of my price range. I figure a couple more
years on my car'll be able to get a used
one of that body style once the next body styles out.
So I got a letter in the mail that piqued

(04:13):
my interest and made me google car. So all my
ads for like on any website, Instagram, everything was just cars, cars, cars,
and I was ignoring them for the most part, but
then I looked at one car, and so I wound
up going to Google Gemini and typing in the exact
parameters of what I was looking for in a car
to see if that was even somewhat possible.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
And Google Gemini.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Roasted me two or three different paragraphs, telling me that
my expectations were too high for a car and that
I need to make more money and then I can
get in a new car.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
WHOA, you got, you got? Wow? That was like, I
had such an attitude.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
I started arguing back with it because I was like,
you know, I'm like, you don't understand, Like I think
I can work towards this and this and this, and
I think my car could be worth this much in trade.
And then it responded, no, it's not worth this much
in trade. And so then I did the research myself,
and I was looking at all these different dealerships and
doing all these different trade numbers and crunching my own numbers,

(05:16):
and I mean, it's telling me I can't do this,
I can't do that, and I'm like, you don't have
to tell me that I did the research myself.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
I don't need you. AI, I'm doing the math.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
I'm doing it the old school way, and so we're
going back and forth and it finally gives me this
paragraph that says there are no cars within two hundred
miles of what you're looking for, and I was like, great,
thank you, And then at the bottom it said, but
there is one search query two hundred and sixty three
miles away in Anderson, Nevada.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
Ooh, And I was like huh.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
And I click on it and it's a twenty twenty
four Hundai Sonata end line, the Sport model with a
moon roof.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
Hello, hello, moon room.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Hello.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
This is on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
It's noon, and I reach out to the dealership and
they made me an offer that I can't compete with.
That's just two incredible to pass up.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
And uh.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
I negotiated a little bit and they agreed to take
my car on trade for a close to what I
think it's worth. And I drove there that same day,
bought a car at sunset, and drove back.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
At one in the morning because gem and I want
to argue, did you tell by the way I did it?
Don't never found me a car.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
And when I was sitting in the financing office in
this dealership in Henderson, Nevada. The lady was like, so,
what how did you find us? Like what did what
brought you here? And I said, well, it was.

Speaker 5 (06:37):
Actually I like it told me about this car. And
I got in the car and I went, and when
do you said?

Speaker 1 (06:42):
They made you an offer? Like don't you call the
dealership and you make them an offer, like, hey, I
want to buy a car. This is what I have.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Well, I I wrote down what I wrote down my
own offer, and I told them like, basically, these are
my figures, this is what I'm looking at. And then
I told them that about the trade and thing, how
a bunch of people say my car is not worth
as much as it is, and I feel like that's
not true. So I sent a bunch of pictures in
my car and they gave me a number. And then
I said, we I said, we need to up this

(07:12):
trade in value?

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Is it that sober one other? Uh huh?

Speaker 2 (07:16):
And they what they did is since they couldn't raise
the trade and value more, they took a thousand dollars
off the sales price of a car that was already
like eight thousand dollars under. What I think is they
should be selling a nice job I was like, I
was like, I literally, I was like, I'm in. And
when I got there, they literally they promised me that
there wouldn't be a ton of paperwork, wouldn't be there
all night. I literally walked in the door, sat down.
They handed me a pen. It was exactly what we

(07:36):
talked about over the phone. I signed it done. Wow,
I felt like such a baller. It accurate.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
People are they are the huge in basketball? Huge in
high school basketball? Yeah, they had Philly Prep. Prep is
the dealership.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
I realized that.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Yeah, that's wild. I know, that's so wild. Many congratulations. Yes, Nick, Hey,
Nick here hey.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
Noah was telling me this story yesterday, and the only
thing I could take out of it was like, you know,
you get those flyers in the mail and most people
just throw them away. You're like, and I always think, like,
who are these four?

Speaker 3 (08:20):
No?

Speaker 4 (08:20):
I answered that question yesterday. Therefore, Noah, that's where it started.

Speaker 5 (08:25):
Like any junk mail, Oh, I read them all.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Well, yeah, you you are the like the target of everybody,
I guess because every every venue of advertising worked for you.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Well, he said they made me an offer I could
not compete with. Like he said, he could not say no.
It was impossible. Well, congratulations, Yeah, that's a beautiful, beautiful car.
I'm really happy for you. Nice job and your dad
because your dad's a car guy, did he My.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Dad's a mechanic. He went with me. I literally called
him and said, will you come with me right now?
And he said yes, checked it over, said it was good,
and we had a little road trip together.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
As the greatest the sometime congratulated Noah,
