Speaker 1 (00:00):
The text line text JJR, whatever's on your mind? The
nine six, eight ninety three. This text says I work
at a professional Christmas lighting installation company because I was
talking about how I saw a house get their Christmas
lights up yesterday and they said, I'm sure that house
won't have them on every night till Christmas. We do
offer a discount if we install in October and they
could turn them on anytime. That clears out our schedule
(00:22):
for the last minute clients. Also, you can get the
Halloween package where we install different color bulbs, then come
back in November decembery change them to Christmas colors.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
It's awesome.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
In fact, they're called Cactus Christmas Lights dot Com.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
That's claw. What's up, Dave. You're on there, so you.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Say, Dave, yeah, yeah, hey, so my yeah, sorry cooling in.
I just heard the podcast I think it's from yesterday,
and Rich turned around and said that Oasis tour was
a money grab. I'm chocked. Go on, how's that money grab?
They're a massive band, they're from the ninth These are
still going and they sold out in the UK, they
(01:02):
sold out in America. I met people from the UK
that flew into America because they couldn't get tickets there.
It's massive. How long are you saying that's some money grab?
Speaker 4 (01:11):
Because they hate each they hate each other. The brothers
hate each other, and so I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
I don't like my brother, but we're still a tool.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
Why would you tour not because of the fans, because
you want to make some money.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
I mean, everyone wants made money. But come on, you
have to say the music is incredible.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
I do like some Oasis they are kind of awesome,
but still the tour is a money grab.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
Cant let me, let me help, let me help explain.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
What I think he's trying to say is, yeah, they're talented,
their albums are amazing, their music is fantastic, but the
reason they are on tour right now is for the money.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Do you disagree with that, Dave? I mean, they won't go.
They have been on tour in twenty years. They hate
each other.
Speaker 5 (01:50):
I'm not someone great.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Some ticketmaster whoever puts on the tour says, hey, we'll
give you five hundred million dollars if you go on tour.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
They're gonna go. Let's go on tour. I mean, oh,
come on, he didn't, he didn't he didn't put down
their music. No, he said. The reason they're going on tour,
I'll give you Yeah, well no, that's what happened.
Speaker 5 (02:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
An example the band Abba from what I've heard Abba,
you know them, they sing dancing green, you both. Yeah,
they have turned down a billion dollars to go on tour.
Speaker 5 (02:20):
Then that much money for whatever.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Reason they've turned down a billion dollars ago I know,
so I don't.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
But they probably can't walk. I mean I was a
little older.
Speaker 4 (02:30):
Than well, that's true, but you know there are I
was just watching this YouTube thing of all these bands
that should hang it up because they're on tour and
they just should not be anymore. I don't know why
the Rolling Stones aren't in that group, but like there's
a lot of people that are on tour that they
just don't sound like they used to sound. And I
get when it, you know, interests a little bit. When
it drifts that far off, maybe it's time to just chill.
It just stomped. I don't think Otis is mun of those. Yeah, no,
(02:54):
they sound good. Where are you from, Dave, I'm.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
From a little place called Moments.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
I can whale ah yes, Wales Ah Yes. Prince of Wales.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
But I'm driving, I say that I had to pull over.
Speaker 4 (03:09):
You really, I do hear the Oasis fans loud and
proud these days, that's for sure.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
By Dave, thanks for listening, man, appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
We got to do a minute to win it eight
seven seven nine three seven one four seven if you
want to win in a thousand Bucks of Pat Hayky's money.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
Meanwhile, Donna, what's inside you?
Speaker 6 (03:28):
Okay, so it's not currently right at this moment, but
pretty much everyone living in my house husband, Oh, oh.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
I get it. Your kids, you know? Yeah, maybe you're
an adult adult film actress.
Speaker 5 (03:47):
Yeah, why did we think of that first before kids? Okay?
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Yes, yes, Dona, yes.
Speaker 5 (03:56):
Yes, Donnie.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
You want to go see Louis Thomlinson.
Speaker 6 (04:01):
Oh my gosh, that'd be great.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
Yeah, hold on the line, this set up. We will
set you up with Louie Thomas A didgets hold on?
Speaker 5 (04:08):
Hold on.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
That's awesome.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
By the way, we got an update on the Starbucks
thing yesterday, real quick setup. Yesterday, Rich came in and
brought me a big venti Starbucks. He said that the
people at Starbucks said, give this a jaw jay, it's
five Americano shot. It is an americanaoa fipressure. And then
when I tested it and tasted it, it was disgusting.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
And it was and then you said drink this, and
you said you had an update.
Speaker 5 (04:32):
I do.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
So I pull up again this morning. So when I
go through, I get a black coffee.
Speaker 5 (04:35):
That's it.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
And yesterday their coffee machine was down. Today their coffee
machine was down, and they said, but we can do
the the Americano thing that we did yesterday. And I'm like, hey,
wait a minute, was that an Americano. Where's that a
hot chocolate? Because I didn't drink that. I said, I
didn't really want it because that's too much caffeine for me,
And you guys all know what happens when I get
too much caffeine. I've been banned from any energy drinks
(04:57):
in this room. So they said that it was a
miss that somebody had ordered an Americano with sugar free
chocolate syrup, and so that's what you got, sugar free
chocolate syrup, Americano and cream.
Speaker 5 (05:09):
That's what that was.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
And then the other person got the five Americanos with
nothing in it. So they were both ventees. But I
didn't order either one of them. They just handed me
a freebie. So I guess you have a free coffee
coming your way at some point once they start brewing those.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
How come you don't drink the coffee here.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
Because it's disgusting.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
It is.
Speaker 5 (05:26):
It is terrible. Oh, it is like dirt water coffee.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
I know.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
I'm coming in. Had on oasis and coffee right now.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
You know, I am a little new to the coffee world,
but I have never had a cup of coffee that
I thought tasted good.
Speaker 4 (05:39):
And Okay, now there's some there's a there's something that's
probably more about my personality than anything else. Also, I
can make coffee at my house. I got a coffee maker.
But I enjoy the people that work at Starbucks. I
think they're nice. So I like popping in and saying.
Speaker 5 (05:53):
Hello, what is coffee?
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Right there? Right there? I'm something.
Speaker 5 (05:58):
So this is the this is an Americano. It's just
not as many would have said.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Something like.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
The sticker on it says something, let.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Me let me see, I have sugar free vanilla, so
you put stuff in there. That's why. That's why I okay, yes,
I have sugar free. I don't put anything in my coffee,
just black coffee, because well.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
It's not even coffee, it's Americano. It's so let's take
what espresso and water is.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
How what that is?
Speaker 2 (06:19):
What espresso is coffee bean? So I mean it is still.
Speaker 5 (06:25):
I don't want the coffee people to jump on you
coffee different than jump on me.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
You know why, because I'm new to the coffee.
Speaker 4 (06:35):
Seven years now.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
It's not new anymore.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
Normally I would have just gotten a black coffee since
they didn't have coffee. I just got the Americano with
a little sugar free vanilla in it. Jen, Jen is
our contested for a minute to win it.
Speaker 5 (06:46):
Hello Jen, Hey, good morning, good morning.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
So we have one thousand dollars of Pat Higgy's money.
Pat is the owner and the general manager Puia Ford.
He gave it to us two months ago to give
away every day, and we can't seem to give it
away once.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Do you think you can take it? Yes, Okay, I
do too, Jen.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
In fact, we got closed yesterday. We got up to eight,
so today may just be the day. Sixty seconds on
the clock. Gen, here we go. Name a Major League
Baseball team, Cardinals. Name any ride at Disneyland, matter Horn.
Name a movie starring.
Speaker 5 (07:27):
The rock.
Speaker 6 (07:31):
Jungle the Jungle One.
Speaker 5 (07:34):
Need the name of the movie, come on Times Burning.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
The Jungle Book.
Speaker 5 (07:49):
Jungle Book is incorrect, Jen, Jumanji, Jumanji.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Jungle Cruise ju or his movie that's out right now,
the Smash Machine or a bunch of movies.
Speaker 7 (08:01):
You get to the plan with medicine.
Speaker 5 (08:07):
I know there's a lot of pressure, Jen.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Sorry, Jen, Thanks for playing.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
All right, Thanks guys.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Would you say the game plan was?
Speaker 7 (08:14):
Who Madison Pettis is?
Speaker 2 (08:15):
That was that the little girl?
Speaker 5 (08:16):
Yeah, that's a little.
Speaker 7 (08:17):
Girl the one that was in the the movie that
Kyle and I just watched with Miranda Cosgrove. What's that
movie called with the reality TV show Texas? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
Paris Texas or something like that. Yeah, Madison Pettis, she's
all grown up and she's sort of grown up and
she's still an actress.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
And she was still cute that movie she was She.
Speaker 7 (08:35):
Actually just did some interview and she had said that
Raven Simone because she was in like in Corey's House
or something on Disney Channel, that Raven Simone is the
reason that she's still an actress.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
To this day.
Speaker 5 (08:44):
It was like that's really cool.
Speaker 7 (08:46):
Yeah, I love Madison Pettis. I used to tell people
that was her.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
I feel like third grade.
Speaker 7 (08:53):
Yeah, did you see me in that movie?
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Are you? Literally said? But absolutely we kind of look
alike for sure.
Speaker 5 (09:04):
It must have been a handful, Oh I was. I'm
a handful now. You can only imagine when I was eight.
