marketing and writing commercials. So she called me and said,
I need some help with my homework, and you're the
perfect guy. She said, I had to write a commercial
for something that I knew about. She's like, you and

John Jay have been doing commercials for Ford your whole life.
So I wrote a Ford commercial all my words, and
she's like, but I have to produce it. I have
to do all the sound effects. But she said, I
can ask a friend to do the voice. And she's like,
you're my friend. I would like you to beat my
voice and my Ford.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Ad that's cute.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
So she sent me the copy yesterday. Are the you know,
the words for the commercial? And I read them and
I thought I did an excellent job. And she called
me and she's like, yeah, that's not going to work.
I said, what's the problem with it? She's like, you
really chewed on the vocabulary and it's too long. It
can only be thirty seconds. You went fifty seconds and
then all of a sudden I'm having like this is

Difference there is that you have to write. You don't
have to write the copy, sir.

That's true. If we're here, we'd have to write our own.
Audrey's already done more. Yeah, some people hear so really

all I did was read into a microphone at a
fast speed what she wanted me to do. But she
put the music, she put the sound effects, she put.

just looked for royalty free drive in music.

Oh, I wonder if Ford uses that because it sounds
like a real Ford.

That's what I thought.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
I'm like, she did, only our show would play a
commercial for content. I was waiting for some sort of like.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
I was like, did you write did you write it
with a I? And she's like, no, you have to
do it all yourself. And I'm like, what do you mean,
like no payment for ninety days? She's like, I heard
that on a purea Ford commercial, so I just put
it in my copy. It's not perfect anyway, So that's good.
They're learning stuff over there. Good.

Different professors like hey, Aldre, can you see me after class?
And then you see like the voice guy. Everything was great,
but the voice terrible. Why would you get that? Where'd
you get that guy that.
