those family friends knew my dad and about my half sister.

and my mom kept out a secret from me for
about thirty years.

Or she's lying to you, because if it's a secret,
that's different than saying you don't have a sister. I
don't know anything about a half sister. There's no that's no.
Do you know what I'm saying?

Speaker 2 (01:08):
No? I do. I do, definitely. Well, when my sister
reached out to me when I was sixteen, and then
I talked to my mom about it, she said that
she had no idea what I was talking about.

So is that a half sister that your dad had
with another woman, or is that a half sister your
mom had and placed the baby for adoption.

It's a half sister my dad had before my mom
and dad got married.

Oh yeah, definitely definitely, But to why about it till
I was thirty and then I call you out in
front of family friends, Right? It hurt? It really hurt. Yeah.
I would feel like a betrayal a little bit, because I mean,
still your half sister.

And we just started talking a couple of months ago.
