Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning, Katrina.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Hi, I wanted to comment on a second date update
you guys had. I think it's about two weeks ago,
I believe. Oh, okay, Anyways, the reason why I was
calling because first of all, the thing the girl did
was outlandish and totally crazy. But I was thinking that
she took the guy's car and then she went and

(00:24):
bought groceries. And the only way that story makes sense
and I could say, okay, I understand it is that
if she is a single mom and she was out
on the town and she's like, oh, I need milk
in the morning when my kids are coming back, and
she did that because she didn't have a car. I
could accept that because I was a single mom and
we went out and did had fun and kids come

(00:45):
back and you have to feed them and all that jazz. Anyways,
So I don't know if that was the case with her,
but I don't know.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
I was thinking maybe that was a good way to
look at it.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
You know what's funny about modern technology, he said, back
in the day before podcasts and stuff like you had
to comment, like on secondary like you probably just listened
to it. Because that was second update a week ago today,
not two weeks ago, but you could listen to it
anytime hot, which is so weird because I thought you
were calling about second update that we just did forty
five minutes ago.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Also shocking.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
Yeah, that's so wild, but yeah, it's a good point
to look at the Katrina.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
So yeah, I just I was just my take on
the situation because I've had some crazy single mom days
back in the day, and.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
What let's do one Let's hear one story.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Okay, So one time I went to this club and
I went with my friends and we went to somebody's
house and we had drinks and partied and all that stuff.
And I actually went walked to the store at three
o'clock in the morning and bought groceries like milk, bread
like stuff from my kids. And I actually hid it

(01:49):
in the bushes too, And when the guy wanted to
give us a ride home, I grabbed the groceries and
got in the car. So that's why I was thinking.
You know that I could understand stealing someone's car is
totally out of bounds.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
But but wait, you can't that that story is the
same one from second eight. You give us another You
said you were a crazy single mom, So I want
to hear another one different than that.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
You put me on the on the pressure. I don't know.
I can't think of anything right now, okay, but I'll
call back if I think of something. I'm sure I
can think of something. Anyways. I love you guys, and
I think you guys are awesome.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
You're a busy single mom.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
You can't be coming up with things right away.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
But I am glad that that story was was what's
relatable to you? Except you didn't steal a car?

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Yeah not that, not that day. I didn't steal a car.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
But anyway, I have a great day, Katrina. Thanks for
listening me too. Bye.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
So if we were to go around the room, I
want to tell you about a TV show. My son
Jake's been trying to get me to watch this TV
show and it's and I don't like scary movies at all.
I don't like scary TV shows, and I definitely don't
want to see anything scary if I go to sleep.
But I also like to connect with my kids as
much as I can whenever. So my son Jake's been
telling me about this stupid show. It's the IT TV show.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Rich.

Speaker 5 (03:12):
You watched that right I'm watching it. I'm only on
episode two or so. Caud. My son Joe's really to
it too.

Speaker 6 (03:19):
See they just renewed for season two and three years. Yeah,
people are like obsessed.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
I watched the whole thing, and I really really.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Really wanted you to watch, and I was hoping your
kids would push you to watch it.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
Well, so my son and my son Jake started watching
a couple days ago, and he starts coming in and
telling me, Dad, you got to come in here and
watch his scene.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Like Nope, not gonna do it.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
And then I'm at the gym working out and I
talked to a guy and he starts telling me about
a scene and I'm like, no freaking wait, Like how
is that not getting pulled off the TV shows? Like
it's so graphic what they were explaining right, And I'm like,
there's no way. Well, about a month or so ago,
I bought a new TV, one hundred inch TV. I
was all excited about for myself because my kids are

(03:59):
gone right except for Jay, my all of the son
he's home for right now, and and I was like,
I can't wait to get this TV put in And
like Kyle's husband said, he we do it. But I
also have this guy Derek. He's got this company which
is exploded now. It's called Monarch. His company is called Monarch,
and uh, it's hard to get on the list to
get in with Monarch now. But he did my system,

(04:19):
so he knows my system and it's complicated. So I
was like, hey, can you come put my TV in whatever?
And he's like, I can't. I don't know when. And
also the other day he goes, I get you in
two o'clock on Monday, and I'm like, oh my god.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
So anyway, he comes over yesterday and he goes, all
I could do is put the TV up.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
I can't do anything else. You can't hook it up.

Speaker 6 (04:36):
Just put it.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
Oh no, you can hook it up, but he can't.
You can't move the TVs that are off and put
in other rooms. And he can't fix my sound system
because it's all it's not. He can't hook it up
to the superker. It's gotta be the TV speakers. I'm like,
I'll take it whatever you can do. So he comes
over and I had I had an interview a podcast
for the highly successful Judge, a VNS podcast, and then
I come home. Jake text me. He says me to picture.
He's like, look at this, It's incredible. I'm like, I

(04:59):
cannot wait to see this TV. So it's not hooked
up to my Apple TV. It's a Samsung whatever small
TV so it has all the So he starts logging
in with a Samsung account, which I don't have, and
I'm like and he's doing whatever, and I'm like, damn,
like it's not functional for me. Ready for you to
do yours thing, Like I just want to turn on
my TV and have my step my screen up there.

(05:21):
So he goes, you gotta watch it with me, and
I'm like no, He's like, just watch. So he puts
on one scene, one scene, and I may be watching
about three minutes of this show on this giant TV
at night, and it was awful what I saw. This
stupid clown with these teeth trying to kill this little girl, and.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
I'm just like God. So then this morning I said to.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
Jake when I went to bed, I go, nah, I
don't want to have to be alone in the cold
Pluge're thinking this stupid clown coming at me, which is exactly.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
What happened this morning.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
I do the hot pludge and there's this clown and
I don't know if he always has the teeth when
he kills people, but he's to come out stupid. So
then I'm gonna text some Blake this morning. Well I
got it from this morning. She says, the TV is
incredible because she was out, she was out last night.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
She was a TV. He's incredible.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
She's like, Jake hooked up the Xbox to the TV
and she's like, so we're gonna lose him all winter
break and I'm like.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
That's my day.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
Yeah, yea.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
So now I'm like, I was like frustrated, that's out.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Wait a minute, Kemp comes home Saturday, Dutch just got
home last night, Jake's home. They all will be gone
by January. So I think in January I'm gonna have
my TV and they'll be Well, let me tell you
what a horrible experience to watch that show on one
hundred instr so large.

Speaker 6 (06:39):
You have nothing to worry about, though, I think it
only goes for the children.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
H yeah, but all the parents in there like there,
they like allow the evil to exist because they're partly
under the spell of the darkness of that it's.

Speaker 6 (06:51):
Like an alien right, and he essentially took over the
body of another actual human dad clown.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Right, So what I was told by Jake that I
guess there was a movie in the eighties, and in
the movie in the eighties, he.

Speaker 6 (07:05):
Was he was an alien alien part too, yeah, who
came and landed in what eventually became the town of Dairy,
and he took over the guy penny Wise, who is
like the normal He's a dad, he had a wife,
and he was a clown that would perform for children.
And the alien that came down and landed in Dairy
saw that he was performing for these kids and that

(07:27):
these kids took a liking to him, and he wanted
to eat the kids. So basically he went and he
ate penny Wise, the dad, and then took form of
his body.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
That makes sense because Dutch. When Dutch came home from
school yesterday, Jake was watching it. I'm like, I'm not
going in there to watch. He's like, goes, he goes.
I thought that the clown was a really nice clown.
I'm like, don look like nice clown. The braids out
of something.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
That nice clown And because he played it in the
movie too, and it is just unnerving. Unnerving if you
watched the eighties with Tim Curry. That's a little scary.
But this Welcome to Day is nunhouse.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (08:03):
I think the original movie is terrifying, it's I think
it's great.

Speaker 5 (08:06):
I don't think I think the kid part is great
of the original movie, the adult part leads me a
little flat.
