Speaker 1 (00:00):
John Jay and Rich whoa whoa whoa? Who's dropping stuff
in here? Trying to do a professional radio show?
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Is that what we are?
Speaker 3 (00:06):
Professional?
Speaker 4 (00:07):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (00:08):
You can text us, You text jgr whatever's on your mind.
In ninety six, eight ninety three, what's up, Brian, good morning?
Speaker 5 (00:15):
Good morning, professional radio crew? Right?
Speaker 4 (00:18):
Are you in a box?
Speaker 2 (00:20):
I'm not?
Speaker 5 (00:21):
You know. You say that every time I call you,
but I'm actually calling you from sleeping bag set up
that I have at home in a podcast from Oh.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
So you're speaking into a microphone which is going to
a phone line.
Speaker 4 (00:33):
What's your podcast?
Speaker 5 (00:36):
I have not started one yet, so.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
All right, but you got all to do here?
Speaker 2 (00:41):
You sound like all my friends.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
I have all the podcast stuff in my kitchen. Never
opened the box any way. What's up, dude? What you
do for you?
Speaker 5 (00:50):
The question I had for you? I know you you
did the civic duty phone call? Did you my chance
to get an email the day before with like fifty
five fifty six questions?
Speaker 1 (00:59):
You're talking about when I had jury duty and I
did everything I was supposed to do to get to
jury duty and do my civic duty right, and then
it turned out they didn't need me right, So you
want so. Uh So, what you're assuming is if I
got the same letter you got or email that you got,
then there's a chance that you don't have to do
(01:19):
jury duty. But guess what, I never got that email.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
I think you're in. Oh, Brian, Like, what does that
ask you?
Speaker 5 (01:29):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Goodness?
Speaker 5 (01:30):
It was asking me how I felt about certain laws?
Could I be by or could I be persuaded?
Speaker 4 (01:36):
Either way?
Speaker 5 (01:36):
If so, if somebody took the stand, Yeah, it was
super in depth.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
Oh yeah, they're trying to weed you out.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Oh, I answered it.
Speaker 5 (01:45):
I don't think they're gonna I don't think they're gonna
take me. But I'll call this phone number and see
if my group numbers in it.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
I think they're gonna take you.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
I'm invested in.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
You're freeway further along than I was, So I think
you're in. But let us know. Bright unlet's somebody start
the podcast.
Speaker 5 (01:59):
Okay, I will, I will do that, all.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
Right, I have a great day, good morning.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Isn't that weird that they ask you if you could
be persuaded? I mean, isn't that what happens in courts?
You're persuaded to think they're innocent or guilty.
Speaker 6 (02:12):
Well, or maybe they want to know. If you can
be persuaded, then you could be a good juror.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
But if you can't, and.
Speaker 6 (02:18):
You're going to feel that same way about that, maybe
they'll toss you out. Or if the prosecution is picking
you and you would go their way, they'll try to
pick you.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
That's pretty cool. I never know.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
I have a great day, dog. How about this rain.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
I'm looking outside right now and it's like this beautiful,
beautiful morning and yesterday the rain, what was it like
three and a half minutes of chaos.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
There was not in my backyard.
Speaker 6 (02:40):
There is a tree down in the park.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
There's many down if you if you can drive around window.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
They called it a microburst.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
It was crazy.
Speaker 7 (02:46):
It was like, I think this may have been like dramatic,
but I saw something that was like eighty miles per hour.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
When yeah, it feels it feels right. I was in
traffic in Tempee where the microburst hit and I could
not even see past my windshield. So I pulled over
in the first like little turn off I could find
in some industrial building and I almost got hit by
a waymo doing the same thing. And I thought, well,
that's weird. I wonder if anybody's been hit by a weaymo,
(03:14):
and how do I get its insurance because there's nobody driving.
And then I thought, I wonder why the weimo pulled
over because it's not really using cameras to see the road.
Is it isn't it? I thought it was just programmed
to know where.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
The grid is. Cameras everywhere.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
I know, if there was cars in front of it, well,
I figured they have sensors. I don't know if there
are cameras, I feel that sensors that know where the
road is. But I thought, well, that would be weird
if I got hit by a waimo. That would be
a that would be I don't know. Just wait outside
and be like, well, here's my insurance, where's your card?
Speaker 4 (03:43):
It probably pulls over.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
So I was preparing for this storm college, you know,
because I sent you pictures of what we were trying
to do a week ago. I knew this storm was coming.
I've had a history of flooding in the backyard because
the horrible, horrible pool company that I should sue, by
the way, ruined my backyard and I've spent a lot
of money to refix it and it has been fixed.
But in the case of some massive storm, like now,
(04:07):
it kids still leak into my house. So I was
getting prepared for it, and my friend Ryan came over
and he put this pump in my house that automatically
if if water hits at a certain level, it starts
pumping out water right away outside of the outside of
the flood area. And I was all excited for it to,
you know, and I was even he was texting me, Hey,
has it started working yet? I go, I don't know.
The rains come, so now the rain's coming hard, really hard,
(04:29):
and then the power goes off of my house, which
the pump works if there's power, right, so now it's
not working, and the water's coming up and it's coming up,
and it's just like it was just just like I
felt like when the people's house is burned down.
Speaker 4 (04:43):
It's like you're just sitting there waiting for your house
to get destroyed.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
And the water keeps coming up and coming up and
coming up closer and closer to our living room, and
it's going to come through the doors. And then it
just stopped, and then the power turned on and the
pump start sucking the water out.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
But it was just like taking us to the edge.
It was edging us.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
Oh my goodness, on your toes. That's just scary. I said,
probably really add you on your toes.
Speaker 4 (05:04):
It did.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
I feel like it's so crazy.
Speaker 7 (05:05):
Because I don't feel like the storm hit where I'm
at that bad. It rained a little bit, but I
was like, when I was looking on Instagram and TikTok
and online, I'm like, it literally looked like a hurricane.
Speaker 6 (05:17):
Oh yeah, like a couple of my friends they all
live in the same neighborhood right in the center of
the microburst, and their cinder block walls were blown down.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
Yeah, we didn't even have any flooding. In The rain
that we've.
Speaker 7 (05:29):
Had over the last couple of weeks has caused our
backyard to flood, but this microburst didn't even touch us.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
It seems like, yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (05:35):
I was like, I was like, hey, the three little pigs.
The wind's not supposed to be able to blow down
the bricks.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
You're right, bricks blowed down everywhere pretty intense.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
I've never seen anything like that, like from inside of
a car, and there was Once I got on the highway,
it was still going crazy. There was like white caps
of water rolling down the highway.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
People post is crazy. My backyard.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
I get my backyard and I'm filming it with my
son Jake and my wife.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
You can hear in the.
Speaker 8 (06:00):
Get inside, Get inside, Get inside.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
I want to be like in my video inside, I
have to get inside. I'm under a thing I'm filming.
We're okay, get inside.
Speaker 6 (06:14):
It's funny because it was it was pretty great weather
before that, Like Pete and I had gone and we
actually got a preview of the new Wayfair outlet. Keep
watching on our John Jay and Rich Instagram today we'll
give you the preview of our preview. But we went
in and then after that, I went into one of
the other stores over there, and it was sunshine when
I walked in, and when I came out, it was
like pouring rain, and I'm like.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
You know, what are the chances?
Speaker 3 (06:36):
I literally have an umbrella in my car.
Speaker 7 (06:41):
It was such a beautiful day and it didn't rain
until I got home.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
I was like, I walked in the door and then
started rain.
Speaker 6 (06:48):
It was like pouring, and I like me and I'm
kind of dramatic because it was it was pouring like
it was a lot of rain in a little bit.
And then I look at everybody's social media, and I'm like,
it wasn't that.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Bad where I was.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
I saw this thing.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
In fact, I was gonna ask you about it, but
I don't think it's existed yet. But Elon Musk posted
last week that Tesla's now are going to be able
to you go to the grocery store, get out of
your car, It'll drop you off your own car, and
then you go shopping and it goes find a parking
space for you, and then when you're paying, you to
hit a button and it'll come get you.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
That just seems so lazy to me.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
So crazy, But that would all work perfect in.
Speaker 6 (07:21):
The rain situation if I wish I had to actually write.
They just had a software update and I thought this
was in so interesting. Literally this morning, I took a
picture of it because I'm like, oh, sorry, what is
this some kind of like weird thing. Okay, So when
they do a software update, some of the controls on
the car change, because it's like an iPad, right, and
then it gives you an update on what it just changed,
(07:42):
and it literally says that your left scroll wheel includes
new options for quickly accessing various vehicle controls such as
bioweapon defense mode.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
Uh what?
Speaker 2 (07:54):
I was like, right?
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (07:56):
What I at?
Speaker 2 (07:58):
First of all, I.
Speaker 6 (07:58):
Didn't even know I have Bioweaponso now I can access
it very easily, apparently with my left toggle button. But
I'm like, should I be worried about this at all?
In any ways, I have no idea. That's why I
took a picture of it. I was like, this is odd.
It's odd. But you guys, if bio weapons are deployed.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
Apparently, let's see.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Let's test it out. Let's go spray raid on your
car and see what happens. And also big wall comes up. Jada,
Good morning, Jada, Jada. I was in Barbados, chill with Jada.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (08:35):
Hello?
Speaker 4 (08:36):
Oh my god? Yes, hello, hello, you called us? What's up?
Speaker 8 (08:45):
Sorry? I was just I listened to your little Waimo
story and it reminded me of I was in a
Weimo one time, and I was it was we were
behind Uh oh my gosh, hold on, no, I was
in my car in the My car was behind a waymo.
So I was behind a Weymo, not in the we
so sorry. Anyways, Uh, we were behind or we were
(09:07):
out of red light and then it turned green and
then I'm like trying to go, but it wasn't. The
weimo wasn't going, so I'm like, what do I do?
Like honked at the weymo. So it just reminded me
of that, because what do you do?
Speaker 2 (09:20):
What do you do?
Speaker 8 (09:20):
Wimo didn't do anything about my honk? Did it ended
up going? But I was like, I don't know if
it hears me.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Or that's what I was thinking. The weimo was coming
right for me in the parking lot, and I'm watching
it almost like it's in slow motion. I'm like, surely
this thing's got censors where it's going to stop, like
it would hit a building or something. But then it
was raining so hard that you could barely see anything
out any of the windows. So anyway, I didn't get hit.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
Ye, well, thanks for calling Jada.
Speaker 5 (09:50):
Yes, of course it sounds I get.
Speaker 4 (09:52):
To be more patient at a red light.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
You're one of those people when it turns green you
honk right away.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
No, it was a way that's when you have to
fit your bioweapon.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
It was a way a mother slow, but they're really
not slow. We're just impatient. You just gotta let the
light turn green and then go all right, thanks for listening.
Speaker 7 (10:09):
All right, Kyle, your your bioweapon defense mode is a
state of the art air air filtration system.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
So somebody gases in your car, that's a bioweapon basically.
Speaker 7 (10:19):
So it like turns out all the fumes smokes allergens,
airborne pathogens.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
We got a text here, a text six two number
says I listened to the j L.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
PATISSERII talking about influencer drama.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
I must say, huge misopportunity for Jenna to say lacroix
for us the right way. Yes, Actually, weimos actually use
lidar for object detection.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
I don't know if that's a type.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Of oh that's no light is like a that's what
they do to find things like that you can't see,
like underground.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
And that's what's the spinning thing on top is with
lidar in distance sense, they're lower on the car bumpers.
Speaker 4 (10:58):
I don't know. I'm a big fan of Weymo bio.
Speaker 6 (11:00):
I am too, So I just put it into chatchypt
to see, like what do you do if a WAYMO
car hits you? And it says the same laws applies
any other car accident. Weamo's system automatically logs everything so
it can determine who was at fault and then a
way Mo rep will contact you. It has like an
emergency response, claimed that get moified instantly.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
Drunk driving
