Speaker 1 (00:00):
John Jay and Rich. I was just telling you.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
I was looking for an analogy because my son said
he had to practice. They changed his practice schedule to four,
and my wife in shock, said a clock. And I
was trying to compare. I was like, Blake, it's always
a clock. And someone just DMed me and they said,
this is a good comparison. If Kemp said he was
dating girl that was twenty five and Blake goes.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Years old, right right, that's.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
A perfect examples twenty five, she's twenty five years old.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Veronica, Good morning, Veronica.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Yeah, can you hear me?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Yeah, Hi, you're on the air.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Hi, good morning. So I was listening the other day
to the podcast. I listened to the podcast all the time,
and somebody had called in saying how many minutes of
John Jay and Rich that they listened to? So I
looked at my iHeartRadio account and I was like, let
me see if I could figure that out. So told
me I listened to almost forty thousand minutes this year
of John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
Wow, that last color was eighteen thousand, and we thought
that was ridiculous. You are you were, you know, a
whole different zone.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Yeah. So I traveled from work, and I put you
guys on, you know, when I clean the house, when
I'm driving, and I actually replay. So you guys started
uploading the full show and then in segments, so I
just press play and it plays the full show and
then I'll listen to all the segments also, so I
pretty much listened to the show twice.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Wow, okay, listen.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
So then Ronica is like the perfect person that we
should do a focus blog on Bronica Veronica, what do
you like about the show?

Speaker 3 (01:38):
I just like how real you guys are. And it's
so funny because I actually have a goddaughter that works
for my Hearts Media and she kind of knows some
of you guys, so we'll like and I'll be like,
oh my gosh, like can you believe that this happened,
So I, you know, I could talk to her about
it and kind of connect with her on that level too,
and just kind of like how real you guys are

(02:00):
and you know, your real life and all that kind
of stuff, and I can kind of relate to different things.
So I don't know, it's just it. It gets me
going in the morning, It makes me happy, makes me smile.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Are you married, do you have kids.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
I am, I'm married. We have a bundo family of
six kids total. You been married, yes, almost two years.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
And who's your godmother that we would know? God daughter?

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Oh my god, my god daughter named Daliah Aliyah Camacho.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
I love Alia down.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Yes, she's my was born. Yeah, she was born when
I was eighteen. And I see the first baby I
took care of. That's my girl.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
I also love her.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Anytime you know a lea get to work together like
added an event, I'm like crossing my fingers and toes.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
It's her.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
She's the best.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Seriously, I love it.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
I feel like I haven't met Aliyah. Have I probably?

Speaker 2 (02:54):
I don't think I'll go look for it now your
Veronica's friend. Yes, well, thanks for listening to Bronica.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Yeah you guys, that's so cool.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Thank you. Forty thousand minutes. Yeah, that's on the iHeart App.
So you get there like a whole year rundown of
the iHeart app that tells you what you listened to
and whatnot.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
I promise you that's more than I've listened to the show.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
You know what I found out, So we had so
you know how again, I'm gonna give you some more
behind the scenes, like you're at a rail station. There's
like your bosses, and then there's corporate bosses, and there
are all these different levels of bosses. So we have because
we're on in so many cities, we have bosses over
certain cities.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Right.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
So one of our bosses, his name is Steve Earnhardt, right,
and Steve is in charge of Doucson and parts of
Texas that so he was with us this week and
we were in McGowan and there was a point where
I was on I went I tried. You know, I'm
obsessively getting my ten thousand steps a day. So I
went into the gym to get on my treadmill in
mcgallan at the hotel and Steve was on the treadmill

(03:51):
next to me, and I was like, oh man, I'm
gonna I put my headphones on, so I thought I
have to talk to him. He had headphones on, and
then once we getting next to each other, he takes
them off and I'm like, no, dude, you can keep
you can keep keep your headphones on. You know where,
don't need to talk? Yeah, And he's like no, no, no.
I was like no, no, no. Anyway, he kept talking

(04:12):
and as I'm talking to this guy. I found out
something about this guy. Now I think I'm gonna guess.
We've worked it for ten years. To say ten years.
This guy who is our boss was an actor in
l A and was on Sister Sister. He was like, yeah, yeah,
I didn't know that.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
I was waiting. I didn't want to tell you the
whole time we were together. I wanted to wait to her on.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
The air because I heard he said talked about stand
up coming.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
I didn't.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
We didn't stand He was on a bunch of shows.
What I know made me like him even more.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
What was his character?

Speaker 4 (04:45):
We need to look at some clips right now.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
I know he told me a couple of other shows too.
That And it's funny because I was like the one
I wanted to remember with Sister Sister because I knew
the shows, the other shows he was on, but I
don't think there was mainstream his Sister Sister, because Sister
Sisters they'd reap.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
I don't union they're back on. He said, Wow, I know,
I had no idea. I'm so impressed. Yeah, there's a few.
Steve Earnhardt is his name is no relation. I'll have

(05:22):
to keep looking asking to send some pictures. What a
great reveal.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
He should have been on one of those holiday floats
from Sister Sister episode.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
You know you know who. Also that Danny Treyjoe was there,
actor Danny Trejo.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Do you guys know who he is? If you google him,
you recognize for sure? Sure with seconds. He's been in
a billion movies, right, Well, yeah, he's actually in Utopia too,
that's out number.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Yeah, my kids.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
I'm talking to him before we got on the parade started,
and now I was having some tacos with him and
I asked him, I said, out of all the movies
you've done, a go which movie did behind the scenes
people freak out about about a scene that was going
to be shot?

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Do you know what I'm saying, like, Oh, we're gonna
go shoot the scene today?

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Everyone showing and I go and I want to guess,
and I think my guess is gonna be your answer?

Speaker 1 (06:15):
And he told me a scene and I was right.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
Ah.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
He was in a movie.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Called From Dusk Till Dawn, the Quentin Tarantina movie with
George Clooney, and there's a very famous scene where Samahayak
pourced tequila down her leg and Quentin Tarantino drinks it
out of her toes and he says, everybody came to
this set that day.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Scene.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
That's why that movie's amazing, because it's kind of like
two different movies in one movie, kind of like how
the vampire movie that just came out Sinners, it's like
two different movies. This is almost just like that. In fact,
there's a vampire element to it too.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
But that scene, that scene is like huge. That's what
started the Quentin Tarantino foot fetish thing. That's what started
all that stuff. And it's just it's a beautiful scene
and do's good a chance to see it
