Speaker 1 (00:00):
John Jay and Rich except for stacks and hacks. I
have stacks of information and Rich has life hacks. So
a bunch of research was done on the states that
love Halloween the most and the least. Any responses want
to know where this state falls in. Oh, we got
to love it the most.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
I feel like we're maybe mid pack.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
The state with the least Halloween spirit is Arizona. They
think it's because it's still ninety degrees during trick or treating. Yeah,
that makes sense. I get that. Always feel like full.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
I feel like a Halloween is either really warm or
it's like freezing. I think it's going to be freezing
this year because the weather's already starting to the.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
States with the biggest Halloween fanatics are Delaware. In Idaho, Oh, I.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Mean, it doesn't seem like there's much going on, So
that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
A poll ask and I wonder if anybody here could
be totally honest. Is there a person who you consider
to be the one that got away?

Speaker 2 (00:57):
M I'm always the one that got away.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Yeah, everybody misses us, right. A twenty four year old
woman who worked for Hurtz rent a Car in Florida
has been accused of conspiring with three men to steal
twelve cars from Hurts while she worked security earlier this year.
What a ring just steal rent the cars like a Corolla.
I guess, don't be this guy. A man won a lottery.

(01:27):
I read the story the other day. He spent two
months partying so hard they need to go to hospital
for eight days. He won one point three million, and
he's literally been partying every day.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
So is it worth it? I want to know.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Probably no.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Now he's got like no liver damage. It's pretty good.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
I had a friend that partied so hard that they
got a hernia from all the alcohol in their in
their systems.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Oh my goodness. I just had one too many drinks
and ended up doing limbo at the bar.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
I saw that video you posted that was very impressive.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Oh my gosh, you guys. I had no idea what
I was getting into. I went to the Hot Chicken.
They had this big wheel there that you spin and
you get a free shot, and it said get low.
But the bartender like bouncer guy, pulled out a paddle
and I was like, my man's here. I would never
and he was like, it's limbo, and so I limbo
and I woke up the next morning, I said, why
are my rips so sore?

Speaker 1 (02:15):
I mean, it's impressive because you told this before. In
the past. You've broken your back before. Yeah, so they leave.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
I broke my neck.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Still, you've got to do a limbo. It's like, wow,
I'd be like I brought my back. I'm not gonna
do them. Both was painful. Fox News says there are
videos circulating on TikTok and Instagram featuring doctors saying that
once frozen, a slice of bread becomes different and ten
times healthier than it was before you frozen. You guys

(02:41):
ever heard that before? No, I have heard. There's certain
things you're not supposed to refrigerate or freeze because it
literally changes, like the fiber.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Content or that kind of like, yeah, I never heard
that it gets healthier the other way around.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
When bread is frozen, some of its starts changes into
something called resistant starch. Your body digests sit more like
fiber than sugar, and toasting it that can flightly lower
its glycemic index. And yes, small studies back that up.
But this isn't a miracle hack. The real winds choosing
whole grain bread, adding protein and ditching sugary toppings.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
And lastly, people online are listing the things that they
just don't get the appeal of at all, Like, what
do you not get the appeal of pickles? A pumpkin?
Spice kale? Leaving the house is on here? This next one?
This happens at my house all the time, and I
don't get it. People intensely watching someone else play a

(03:37):
video games so fascinating to me. Uh chacouterie boards, trendy
water bottles, reality TV, Taylor Swift, Hey, no, hate it all.
I just don't get the hyper music is bland and repetitive.
That said, she's a great performer and a businesswoman. Strip clubs,
sports betting, being mean to animals, being mean just to

(03:59):
seem cool social places where the music is too loud
to talk to anyone. That part I don't get either.
I like loud music, but you can't talk to someone
and it's too loud. Yeah, it's true. That's why you
gotta go to pubs. Yeah, bars, Yeah, what.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Pubs?

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Pubs. I was in London, in London a couple of
months ago, pubs, the pub rich live hacks. I'm bringing
back an old hack. In fact, I looked at this.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
I did this three years ago, but people still talk
to me about it all the time. And now is
a time because it seems to be coming up a lot.
And that is how you can get more gas in
your car. Kyle, you can just not paying attention since
your electric, So fill up your car because it's getting
colder in the morning. Peyton, it's better to fill up
your car in the morning, and that's because gas expands
a bit when it gets a little bit warmer. And

(04:46):
if you want to get the most gas in your car,
you know how you pull the pump. Don't pull it
to the strongest setting. When you set that little clicking
thing to fill up your car, set it on the
slowest fill because that means that there's not as many
air bubble and you can get up to fifty miles
more in your tank of gas if you pull the

(05:07):
slow pump.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
If you do it on the.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Slow setting instead of the fast setting. That hack and
many more can be found to John, Jay and Rich Well, let.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Me ask this about gas. Do you think it matters
the super leaded, medium leaded the other ones.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Well, it's all the same. It's like there's just less
bubbles in it. If you if you pump it slow
or so.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
No matter how you pump it is there because there's differences, right,
there's like.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Yeah, there's the ninety one octane in the eighty seven
in the eighty eight or whatever.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Yeah, is it? Does it matter? Because my wife says
it doesn't matter. Well, a lot of people.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
If I had a car that said use high octane,
I would probably use high octane.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
But I don't. I don't like that. My car says
use high octane. I do it. My wife's car says
high octane, and she doesn't do it. She refuses to
do so. I was getting gas for the other day
and I put the middle kind of in and she
got so mad because what's doing this is three dollars
and forty three cents and you paid four dollars or
twenty five cents. Why did you do that? I go,
because there's something wrong with this kind of gas. You
gotta put this kind of gas or so why would

(05:58):
they have it?

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Well, they say that your car will not The engine
will knock a little bit when you first put in
the lower grade, but then it kind of gets used
to it.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
It's just a little dirtier, that's all. Well, thank you
Richard's Great life hack. You're welcome. That laugh hack at
John Jay and rich dot com. That was a that
was a lack
