Speaker 1 (00:01):
Stop just yelling at the radio. Call us eight seven
seven nine three seven one oh four seven. It's John
Jay and Ridge.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Just time for stacks and hacks. I have sacks of
information and Rich has life hacks. In a study, researchers
analyze how thousands of people spent their time across more
than one hundred activities. They compare that to how people
rate of their day and look for patterns on days
rated better than usual, and They've come up with a
scientific formula to have a truly joyful day. These are

(00:31):
the things you need to have the best day ever.
Equals six hours with family, two hours with friends, an
hour and a half of extra socializing, two hours of exercise,
an hour of eating and drinking, less than six hours
of work, indulging only one hour of screen time, and
no more than a fifteen minute commute.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
That's for one day. That's how you have truly, truly
a joyful day.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
I saw that.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
I'm is there sleep in there anyway right time?

Speaker 4 (01:02):
I'm like, six hours with your family, two hours with
your friends. That's eight hours. My social battery would be drained.
I'd be like, everybody, leave me alone with that's average
hours work.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Full joy joyful day. So maybe you don't hit all that.
Maybe you have kind of an okay, joyful day. Maybe
doll the way you're having it, you have a pretty
good day. Gotcha Like I'm a joyful meter. Yes that
was the map.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Okay, an hour and half of exercising is a long time.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
So if you do half an hour, maybe you just
have a pretty good day. Think about it.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
When you exercise, that's when your endorphins are released.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
You're a great mood, feel good.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
New survey asks single people about the worst messages to
send through dating apps.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
I have the top ten. What do you think you up?
Number two where ye at w y A good? We good?
Is not there? What are you up to? Number seven?
You remind me of my ex? Oh are you free tonight?

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Is number eight? Hey beautiful or hey handsome? Number five,
Number three is how are you? Number one is hey
or hi? Those are things never ever ever to send
on a dating app. Do you struggle with computers? Anybody
here struggle computers?

Speaker 1 (02:09):
I do?

Speaker 3 (02:10):
I completely struggle. Okay.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
A new study says the reason this is one hundred
percent me. The reason could be lack of user intelligence,
not just a lack of training.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
I actually think in your case, you're just cursed with electronics.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Here's the trick to help you hear better in noisy bars.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I thought this is great because there's a restaurant that
I've been to one time down the street from my house,
and it's so loud. I don't want to go back
there again, but I keep seeing pictures of it. It
makes me want to go, but it's so loud. So
the trick to hear better in noisy bars. A study
found tapping your finger can tune out noise. Experts say
the part of your brain that deals with fine movement
and sound are intertwined somehow, so you just kind of

(02:51):
go and then you got to deal with a knocking noise.
By the way, Peyton, where you talking about dissolving your
lip filler? Yes, Kyle, do you have lilip filler?

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Okay? Men find natural lips the most attractive on women.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Yeah, not my lips before my lip filler. Nothing.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
So do you have a lip filler right now? Are
you dissolving it or not?

Speaker 4 (03:10):
I need to get it dissolved because it's migrating. And
then every time I go to my injector, she's like,
we need to dissolve it, and I'm like, stay away.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
From Me's migrating too.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
It's like migrating up a little bit and like out
to the side.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
That'd be so wild. Migrates like above your lip you
have a caterpillar or your skin.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Gosh, that's kind of what it looks like.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Sometimes. A poll asked if your adolescent self met you
right now, would they be proud or disappointed?

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Payne, what do you think?

Speaker 4 (03:39):
I think mine would be proud of me, Kyle, I
think min would be all right with life.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Rich.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
I have the same job as I did when as
an adolescent, so I think i'd be cool with that.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Twenty five percent stay proud.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Only twenty five percent. That's kind of sad.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
I don't cay.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
You went over this last week, but you were talking
about the the things that people left in unclean baggage.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Yeah, I saw because I know you went over so fast.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
But I have some of the list, and I thought
it was so damn amazing because I know you talked
about the urinal right, did you talk about the freeze
dried chicken foot?

Speaker 4 (04:09):
No.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Also a movie script from the nineteen eighty five movie
The Goonies, They Left was left that's more some money.
Like the fact that people leave these behind and like
don't actively hunt them down. It's crazy to me. Silicone
butt pads, a cuckoo clock, a preserved rattlesnake in a
jar of whiskey, a letter signed by Eleanor Roosevelt from

(04:30):
nineteen forty four. That's a glass eye, and a full
sheet of uncut two dollar bills. And lastly, before we
get two hacks, BuzzFeed put together list of the nicest
celebrities according to people who have met them, The nicest celebrities,
And there's a little line from the people that met
them what they say, who do you think is the
nicest celebrity?

Speaker 3 (04:51):
I actually clarkson, that's a good guess.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
I saw a TikTok with all of these comments of
all these celebrities, and they had said Pink was like
the sweetest human.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Pink is not in the top ten according to this list.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Post on number ten one of the nicest, most truly
genuine people I've ever met. The dude brought his parents
on set and was so excited to share what we
were doing with them. I don't know who said that,
but Taylor number nine. After several minutes of talking, she
says to me, well, this will be our first picture
and our next one will be an award show.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
And then she hugged me for our photo. So I
don't know who said that.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Let's see, Tony Hawk is number two, but he generously
donated a bunch of money to build a six skate
park in my small town and bought a whole team
of professional skaters, and to break it in the number
one nicest celebrity mister Rogers. Oh yeah, he made me
feel like I was the only person.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
In the room.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
I'm gonna throw someone else that list because i was
just with this guy last week and I'm so blown
away by how kind and what a good guy was.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
And that's uvea basketball coach, Tommy Lloyd. That guy blew
me away. Man. He like, I've never had this happen before.
You know how we were a on celebrities all the time.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Yeah, He's like asking me questions about me in my life,
like that's never happened. He's my favorite bands. He's asked
me about what time I get up, He's asked me.
I was like, wow, you know what I mean. It
was so wild.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
It's like I feel like we're friends.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
Now, you guys actually should be friends, because then maybe
you can get Lebron in the studio and I would
just die.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
He actually facetimed me the other day and I didn't answer,
who Lebron?

Speaker 2 (06:17):
No, Tommy lloydreat life like, I'm gonna wait till now
to tell you.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
All right, So there's some old wives tales that have
become life hacks that are like one hundred years old,
but they work because now the science has proven them
to be true, and Grandma swore by it and she
was totally right. That is the olive oil hack. You
can remove stickers, fake tattoos, and if your dog scratches
up your leather shoes or couch, you stick some olive

(06:46):
oil on a soft rag and rub it in and
watch the magic make the scratches disappear. I actually tried
this on a chair that I have that my dog
Jango just you know, decided to party on and scratch up,
and it really took the scratches right out.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
I saw that you can do it with two like mayonnaise,
which makes sense because I think mayonnaise is made with
olive oil.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Well, it's got some oil in it and probably vegetable
oil in it. But but the the olive oil for
sure works. I cannot vouch for the mayonnaise. Try probably
right though it might smell a little. Yeah, but Italian
leather olive oil. When it smells like olive oil, it
smells delicious. So try that out sometime. Those hacks can
be found at judging rich dot com.
