Speaker 1 (00:00):
About four minutes away from Disney, So you gotta keep listening.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
We'll tell you when to call in. I saw Peyton, Yanni,
we keeping up in here, Peytonay you are.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
I just had a little bit of I did a
little bit of lack of oxygen to my brain right
in that moment.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
Okay, what was last night for you?
Speaker 1 (00:16):
Well?
Speaker 3 (00:16):
Last night I actually went at one of my really
good friends, her little sister's senior night, which is like
crazy because I've known her since she was like three
years old. But I don't know if it's like because
my like frontal lobe has developed or what. But I
cried like a baby the entire senior night for all
of the seniors that were walking through and hugging their teammates.
(00:38):
I was like, you guys really need to soak it in.
And then I just started thinking about how like I
really enjoyed my high school years, and then I was
just in my feelings that I wasn't sixteen and had
no bills.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
Isn't it kind of early for senior night? Well, season,
volleyball season's over.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
Volleyball seasons coming towards the end.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Yeah, Oh okay, Okay, so you're bummed you're not in
high school anymore.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
I think so a little bit.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
Kyle, What did you say? Am I the worst?
Speaker 4 (01:01):
Because I kind of feel like the worst. So you guys,
remember my daughter's birthday was over a month ago. Yeah,
and I'm just getting ruin her a little birthday party.
Speaker 5 (01:14):
Yeah. Isn't there a rule you have to have it
within like a couple of weeks? I don't know. So.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
And here's why I feel like I am the worst
because she did have a little git together with her
friends from school, but she also has other friends and
she feels awkward integrating the friends because she doesn't want
to make it awkward for the people that don't know
each other, which I love. So I had told her,
we'll do something separate with your two besties. And that's
when remember I told you she had the idea. She
really wanted to go to the mall for her birthday.
(01:40):
So I found that idea, the mall scavenger Hunt. It's
actually a very cute idea. I'm writing clues that lead
to five different stores and they have to find things
in the stores, and some stores they get little gifts
waiting for them.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
And so that's so cool.
Speaker 5 (01:53):
Yesterday I went.
Speaker 4 (01:54):
I went to the mall to get prepared because I
had ordered a couple of things at some of the
stores and I wanted to make sure that they could
put them in three separate bags because there'll be three girls,
right and I want them to eat Beth like little
shopping bags and carry on them all feel cool, you know.
And uh, everyone I asked about this, like, I guess
this isn't really a popular thing that happens all the time,
(02:14):
because they were like, I'm sorry, you want to do
what I like? Are you want to keep the bags
here if possible? And then like we're coming on Saturday
and they're gonna have a clue and they come to
you and you'll have the gift right there. And so
Lulu Lemon got it right and they're like, oh, this
is so great. The girl is like these bags and
they were all into it. And then like a couple
other stores were like, no, you'll have to drop They said,
(02:37):
they'll do it, but I'll have to drop the bags
off the day out. Oh they lose them, which I
totally respect and I'm grateful because I don't want them
to lose them. So I was glad that I did,
like a prep for it, and then as I'm doing this,
I'm like, her birthday was over a month ago. I
was kind of thinking she was gonna forget about this.
Speaker 5 (03:00):
That was your birthday plan, She's.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
Reminded me like every other day. So I'm like, I
better get on that. I'm the worst because I should
have already done that.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
They're gonna have so much fun. I'm actually shocked that
they weren't like down and hip with it because I've
been to like five birthday parties like that before where
we've done this scavenger hut and.
Speaker 5 (03:18):
Those are like so much fun. So I'm so deprised.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
I an't really get it because if they don't know
who's going to be working that day, oh, and like
things get shuffled around and they're probably nervous that they
are going to lose it or someone's gonna give to
someone else or something.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
It's almost like you have to work as a team,
maybe where your husband has the bags ahead of time,
like fifteen minutes ahead of time, like says the store
and says three girls are coming in here to make
sure they get their bags, which.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
Is what I think. I'm so I'm the two girls
that Addie invited their sisters, and so their mom's coming
with us, and so what I'm going to have her
do is take them to go get like a Starbucks
or a slushy player and then all run over and
then we'll maybe and I'll let you guys know how
it goes.
Speaker 5 (03:57):
Please do okay?
Speaker 1 (03:58):

can't talk to Dylan. But Noah's on FaceTime. So Noah,
(05:34):

Speaker 5 (05:43):

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Twenties, do they? Yeah? Got us?
Speaker 1 (08:19):
No, okay, I want to get into this up really quick.
About I wanted to recamp books. You were talking about
going to the mall for your daughter for a birthday. Yeah.
There's this TV show that came out a couple days ago,
and I don't know how to describe this show except
for yesterday Grant was in the studio and I wanted
to describe this show, it's like The Office if the
(08:39):
Office was dark and had grant sense of humor.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Okay, at the Office, I know.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
It's really so it's this guy. The name of the
TV show is called The Chair Company, and it's this
guy that builds malls for a living. He built and
that's why when you said mall, you go to the
mall and make me think about it. And he's at
a restaurant. It starts off where he's eating at a
restaurant with his wife and kids. This kids are in college,
in high school, in college, and this waitress comes over
(09:05):
and she's like says to her his son, hey, you
look familiar, and she oh, do you play basketball for
so so? And he's a basketball player, goes, yeah, I
play basketball and you know, I'm getting recruited right now.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
And he goes but we hear it because my dad
and the dad's like, oh, stop it.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
He goes, my dad is like the number one mall
maker in the world. And she's like mall and he's like, yeah,
you know, you've probably been to one of my molls.
She's like, I haven't been to a mall in years.
He's like, no, you've probably been to a mall. She's like, no, no,
I have it. He's like, yeah, you have, Like no,
and then he starts getting upset and he gets angry
and he's like we're in the mall right now. She's like, well,
(09:39):
this is a restaurant. This restaurant is a mall, and
he gets and it just gets you so don't want
you know, like Michael Scott made it uncomfortable. But Michael
Scott was like good looking and friendly. Like there's got
to be a way they describe this guy as. He's
not friendly, he's not approachable. You don't really like him.
I'm only one episode in, but then he like crawls
under his desk, he falls on a chair speaking at
(10:00):
an engagement, he falls and I'm assuming and he starts
to sue the chair manufacturer, and I'm thinking that's where
the whole show goes.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
But it's like dark and what's it on HBO? And
it's this actor that Grant loves.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
I can't remember his name, Tim Robinson or something like that,
and it's really his face is uncomfortable.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
Ye like yeah, So the chance you gotta watch it.
Speaker 5 (10:22):
Is it supposed to be a comedy or I think it's.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
OK, it's what I think. It's a dark comedy.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
Well those are huge.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Like at one point, he's under his desk because he's
so embarrassed that he fell in front ofybody's in the
fetal position his desk. He's like he's getting angry, and
then people come in. They go like, you know, Dave,
where are you? And he's quiet and they look and
they get see through that little hole in the desk.
They see his eye, he sees their eye, and then
he just go away, like you just feel embarrassed for
the guy.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
Like it's really weird.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
We're ready for one of those good dark comedy Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
All right, so if you missed that on Dizzey, tickets
we got them all week, So make sure you listen
for those magic words all day tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Right at this time, we will have a winner already
