Speaker 1 (00:00):
A new pole found that pumpkin pie is our favorite
Thanksgiving pie right now. The thing is, was it last
week where Rich said Costco pie is the best and
someone else said Sam's Club's best.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Yes, and the rich were like, we're gonna do a taste.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Test, Rich Kyle tasting the pies and what will they do?

Speaker 4 (00:38):
Yeah, I've never had the Sam's pie, but pretty much
everything costcars better than Sam's. So yesterday I decided that
I would go to both places and get us some
fresh pie from each place and we just try it.
We decide for ourselves which one. So there is there
some enormous pies. I will say the Costco pie is
even bigger than the Sam's Club.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
You would have said that, He would have said that,
I would have known which was bigger. They look both
with huge.

Speaker 5 (01:04):
Costco is five ninety nine, But it doesn't say how
much the Sam's Club.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
If you remember how much you paid for the Sam's
Club one, it was about the same. Maybe maybe might
have been even cheap. It might have been four bucks.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
So we're all going to taste the pies inside. Which
one's the better taste pie?

Speaker 4 (01:16):
And I know you're gonna like this, because really We're
not gonna slice it all these just jam your fork
right in there.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
Okay, I am opening said pies. Okay, Kyle, you want
to start.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
I can tell them to smell.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
You don't smell anything I know, but pumpkin, good pumpkin.
Like I had some pumpkin I gotta get, like some
of the yogurt.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
The other day, and pumpkinyogurt was like.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Eh, okay, we're not even We're not even putting whipp
cream on this or anything.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Would you call it?

Speaker 5 (01:44):
The cost looks better?

Speaker 4 (01:47):
I did, Somemorey.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
I just thought I saw something fly somewhere. I go
from the middle of the pie.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
Okay, okay, I'm gonna go taste the Sam's pie.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Which way?

Speaker 2 (01:57):
So you should have said that because I don't know
what pie this is. This is a good pie.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
It's the pumpkin pie from Costco.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Is decent, good consistency, come with you. There's a light
pumpkin vibe. Yeah, like I would like.

Speaker 4 (02:18):
It's not like a super heavy pumpkin. This is like
an all American taste. You know, it feels good. If
you got a slice of that at dinner, you'd be good.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Okay, this sounds like a disaster slicking pumpkin working out
for me over here with this pie?

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Okay, she wanted to get the crust.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
You, I want to get the full flavor of the pie.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
So I made my decision.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
This pie is a lighter looking pie. Yeah, that pie
is darker, you know? Okaya, which one am I drinking?

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Which one is this?

Speaker 3 (02:49):
That?

Speaker 5 (02:49):
The Sam's Pie?

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Upon review, the Costco has a little bit of a
glaze over the top of the pie.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
I made up my mind.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
I gotta admit I don't like pumpkin pie.

Speaker 5 (03:01):
Kyle's like, both of these are not it for me.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
But I think I think I've got my answer. I
have my answer to let me. Let me get a
little bit of crust on this. It's so invigorating, and
I think I know my an. It's not even close
for me.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I think, all right, who at first? You went first? Coyle?
I did, Okay, what do you think's best pie? I
like the Sam's Club pie better. That was the second one.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
That second one has a really good, longer aftertaste.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
It tasted more homemade to me, Rich would you pick?
You said, it's not even close.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
I think the Costco kicks its butt.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
You learn so obsessed with the Costco pie.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
I'm with Rich. I think the Costco pie is better,
all right, fifty to fifty.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
I think the Sam's pie is kind of dry.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
That's so funny because.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
I'm with you.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
I feel like the consistency and the texture of the
Costco like pumpkin pie, is better.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
I just feel like the Sam's Club pie has more flavor.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
It almost sucks the moisture out of your mouth.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
It's not offensive bake flavor.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
Yeah, so it's fifty to fifty. We still don't have
an answer. Look at I mean, even when you look
at them, the Sam's Club one looks more homemade than
the Costco and I love Costco. Well, they may have
thrown some more chemicals in the Costco pie to make
it last longer. Might be the biggest debate of the year. Yeah,
then we are split in this room.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
We are split in this room.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
I think the Costco pie looks better. It's darker. I
think the sam Clubs pie might taste better. I think
there's a more there's more cinnamon. I think in the
there's actually actually we're trying to believe the word it's nutmeg,
or at least that the Nutmeg is the key to pump.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
Really, there's not. It tastes I think, yeah, it's not.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Almost has nothing to do with nuts, and you love Meg.

Speaker 5 (04:42):
Who's Meg? There's something we should know, Stacey.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Well, so anyway, go get your pies great wherever you
In fact, I guess the answer is where do.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
You get a pie? You get a pie?

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Yeah, seriously, the official Judge and Rich Pumpkin Pie Tasting.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
It's a time
