Speaker 1 (00:00):
A couple of conversations going on text right now. Remember

(00:04):
when Peyton brought up light as a feather stip is
a board, John Rich, I'd love to have a conversation
about that. Discussion all hot about lights, the feather STIPs
a board from the lens of a spiritual energy practitioner.
I can explain all of that above. Also the way
I don't like listening to loser by Beck. I guess
she has an explanation to that. Oh really, John Jay
and Rich. I'm at the Sun's Blazers game in Portland.

(00:27):
I scan courtside seats for John Jay. No luck, check
his social media. He's in Cabo, it's Saturday, and John's
got a stock or two. Something that really grinds my
gears from a four to zero number. When I'm riding
on an elevator, the doors open and then people waiting

(00:47):
to get on the elevator or crowding outside as if
there's no way anybody could be in the elevator wanting
to get off. Move your butt over, stop being so selfish,
Let the people off. That is so frustrating. It is
so frustrating, John Jay and Rich. My sister jumped off
then old Merry Go Round and broke her leg and

(01:09):
that's why they took the Merry go rounds away. Do
they have monkey bars still? No?

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah, I mean they do it my kids' school.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Like, isn't that how Euston broke his arm was falling
off the.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Yeah, but that was actually a little playground that's not
sanctioned in Greer, Okay.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
And those those monkey.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Bars were I think, like they were so tall, like
an adult man could have used those monkey bars.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Greer Dutch did the same thing in Pine Tops. I
feel like that's why I always say over there, it's
still the nineteen seventies, nineteen eighties up there of North Airspa.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Those are the dangerous ones.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
So, Peyton, what's your thing with power walking?

Speaker 5 (01:42):
It's not power walking, it's the power of walking away.
And the topic of the power of walking away is
going viral right now on TikTok and Instagram because at
the Grammy's Chapel, Roone did an interview and she was
asked how she's able to take on all of this
new fame that she has, and she says that she

(02:02):
has mastered the power of walking away. And I was like,
that's kind of interesting. Because I feel like you learn
the power, Like I feel like the power of walking
away and then having the mom that's like they're just
jealous of you.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
I feel like those go hand in hand.

Speaker 5 (02:16):
Like I feel like we as humans and like we
like me as a woman, Like I got my confidence
from my mom. I got the power of walking away
because I had a they're just jealous of you mom.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Okay, what what's that look like? What would you walk
away from things that.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Don't serve me anymore?

Speaker 5 (02:30):
If I have a friendship that is draining me more
than it is fulfilling me, I know I need to
walk away from that situation, you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Anything you come home crying for whatever reason about this
and your mom will say, they're just jealous of you.
Like that type of thing.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Well, not necessary?

Speaker 5 (02:43):
Yeah, sometimes like or if like I was upset my mom,
that was very much how my mom was. She was like,
who cares what they think? They're probably just jealous of you.
Who cares?

Speaker 3 (02:50):
And then I got over it and I one hundred percent.
I mean, also I'm a leo, but.

Speaker 5 (02:54):
I think that that's why I have my confidence is
because my mom was like, who cares what they think?

Speaker 3 (02:58):
About you. They're probably just hating anyway.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
You know, that's really good advice.

Speaker 5 (03:03):
Yeah, so I feel like you get the power walking
away from your mom. And I was like, I don't know.
It was just like an no one thought in my head.
And I was like, I wonder if people agree with
that or not.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Even as adults, you walk away from stuff.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
Yeah, I feel like I've like really found that within
the last couple of years.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Because in so many ways, we were just giving you
that speech like two weeks ago when you were upset
about the haters.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
Yeah, and guess what. Guess what I did.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
You walked away.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
I cried, I stopped crying, and I walked away. Yeah,
and they didn't let it bother me. I didn't go back.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Usually I would go back and keep reading the mean
things that are study you turned.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
You know what happened This is I find this religious
right now because this is going on in my life
right now, and not necessarily that. But when I was
a kid growing up and there was ever an issue
like that where I was upset about something, or I
had a bully at school, and I had quite a
few bullies, my dad would always do this thing where
he would just say let them, and he would take
his hand and turn it like side, you know, the

(03:55):
thumb down and make a slicing motion and push him
away and you would go let them. Is how he
did it. It kind of became a thing in our family
where my sister always said in time there was an
issue or like work issues or whatever, and my sif
would go let them, let them. And then Meil Robbins.
You ever heard of Meil Robbins.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
Yeah, she's everywhere on Insd's.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
She's got a she's like, I don't know, a motivation
speaker every day Brown. She has a new book out
that's a bestseller and it's called let Them and it's
literally my whole dad's philosophy. Wow, Blake just bought and
she's listening to it or reading it and I won't
do that. All you need to know is the headline
let Them.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
Yeah, I mean, and it's important, right, Like that's something
that stuck with you for your whole life. And I
really as I'm getting older, I'm twenty six, I really
am starting to realize like the impact of how my
parents raised me and like who I am as a person.
And it's kind of cool being able to step into
that space and learn that about myself.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
So, God, you're so well spoken right now.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Thanks. I'm trying to grow up. I feel like my
frontal lobe is developing.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
This is really deep to like look at yourself in
that way. Why am I the way that I am?

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Yeah, And that's definitely where I'm at in my life
right now.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Speaking of your parents, what is your dad posting a
lot of videos of his outfits and like that? Is
he going through something?

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Character?

Speaker 1 (05:04):
He looks like he's dropping some weight.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
He is.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
He actually looks really good. He's not necessarily going through anything.
He's just working on himself and his body and eating right.
And you guys know how it was going to Hot
Works the gym where it has like the infrared sauna
and you can go into your workouts.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
You've talked about it. I haven't been there.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Yeah, Well I got my dad to go.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
So my dad is now a Hot Works member and
we get to go work out together and go do
cool stuff.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
So it's gonna be fun. I'm excited.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
Hey, that's awesome.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
So yeah, he's just been chilling.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
He's just losing weight and doing him.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
I guess, well, if he's like posting himself like maybe
he's starting to feel good.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
That's a good place to be. He's definitely getting some confidence.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
So one time, I don't know if it was a
year ago or so, your dad posted a picture and
I think he tagged me in it, and it was
he was pretty much like naked, Yes, howl around but
his buck was showing. Yeah, I read posted right simple.
Never thought about it again. And I keep losing followers
on Instagram and I still don't know why. I don't
know what I'm doing. I'm just posting stuff, but I'm

(06:03):
paying attention to it. I'm kind of like walking away
from the problem, as Peyton says, but I'm also observant
of it. I'm like, why why am I losing these followers?
Like I don't understand. And then someone said, well, go
to your account status. So I've got to figure with this.
Is this account status is? I go to my account status.
It has like four four things for categories and account
status and one one and you want all four to

(06:24):
be green. There's little little dots you want them to
be green, and I have two red dots. I'm like, oh,
what's the red dot? So I click on the red
dot and it says violations and the violation is the
picture of Peyton's dad. Yeah, And I'm like, how do
I get.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
Rid of this?

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Like, I can't, there's nowhere it's his delete, there's nowhere
to It's the screenshot of Peyton's dad's ass.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
It takes up the majority of the screen.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
It's a jump scare when you see that picture, it's
a jump scare.

Speaker 4 (06:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Well, Instagram start taking my account away and then and
then the other thing says monetization, and I don't know
what that means. I mean, I know it means something
with money, but I'm not doing anything. I'm not trying
to make money.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
I'm not doing anything on to monetized.

Speaker 5 (07:12):
Yeah, you're saying, maybe that's what they're flagging. Is they
want you to turn on the business account.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Oh oh, maybe that'll help. I don't know, but it
was really frustrating. I can't delete the screenshot of your
dad's naked but on Instagram. And I'm like, if that happened,
how come his isn't flagged. I'm just his account.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
I'm sure it is.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
I'm sure he has many violations on his account.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Anyway. I posted my skincare routine do you guys see
that I did my new thing?

Speaker 4 (07:40):
What are you doing now? What's what? What's what are
you putting on?

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Well, I've never put anything on my face ever as
far as skincare goes, you know, like I never really washed.
My face was so rarely, you know, I would just shower, cold, plunge.
And then I'm working out at the gym that I
work out with this woman that I work out with
MEAs Tara, her and her husband like own this skincare company,
and talking to them, They're like, well, try this and
try this, and then I was like, I never really

(08:04):
did it. And then they brought me. Her husband brought me.
We went to dinner and he was telling me all
about the skincare routine and for guys. So he gave
me the like four or five of these bottles and
gave me a routine, and he sent me a video
of how to do it. So every morning and every
night I watched the video over and o because I'm
not gonna remember, you know. And then one night where

(08:24):
the weekend Dutch because we're sharing a hotel room. We're
in Cabo. Why do you keep listening to that video?
Because I want to do the right routine, the right way.
And I guess Blake filmed me the first time, and
then she filmed me another time, and I was like,
not aware of it all, but what's And I guess
it is funny because you hear me watching the listening
to video. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
So.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
And then yesterday he gave me a special sunscreen I'm
gonna start putting on, and he said, there's a special
way to do it, Like it's like you put mark.
You rub it over a couple times over your forehead.
I don't know, at least marks, then you rub it in.
I don't know. I'm just new to skincare. I'm new
to the skincare world. It's good, it's good for you.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
You should get like an index card and have Blake
right down the steps and then just tape it to
your mirror. Now I got to read, well, yeah, that'll
be good to stimulate your mind.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
I press play and then I look at myself in
the mirror and start putting the skin on, the lotion
on it. Also because you guys have done your whole
Like my wife, she'd always put skin lotion on and stuff.
But it's like I'm ready to go to bed, I'm
ready to do my thing, go to bed, and then
it's like I gotta put the skin care on right right,
And then it's like wait, I gotta burst my teeth first.
You put it on.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
You don't have to be consistent or it doesn't work.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Yeah, I'm a big fa. It's called skin Better is
the company that stuff
