Speaker 1 (00:00):
John Jay and rich Alissa. Good morning, Hi, good morning.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
So I just want to comment on Kyle being mom shame.
I feel like she should not because give yourself great style.
These kids are tablet kids. They are not outside like that.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
That's true.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
I'm trying to make it not be a tablet kid, right.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
My son was eight when he learned, and we were
doing the same thing, like, oh my gosh, we have
to peep him. But he went to his friend's house
and his friend taught him, and the next thing I
came home, he knew how to ride bikes. Like I'm
telling you, these tablet kids, do you not be outside
like that?
Speaker 1 (00:33):
You're right, You're totally right.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
I remember my son Christopher did not want to ride,
and he's like, well, I could run faster than you
can ride your bike, and he could like them. He does,
he knows how, but he doesn't like it. It's just
not his thing. He prefers scooter or something like that.
Speaker 5 (00:48):
I love ride a bike, and I look when I
see kids ride bikes, because I see a lot of
kids my neighborhood riding electric bikes and they're not pedaling.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Yeah, we all need the exercise.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
Oh for sure.
Speaker 5 (00:57):
Yeah, there's a nature deficit right now in this country,
you guys nature.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
That's so funny because Addie, she she like supports Easton
so much. Actually, we were talking about this last night.
She's like, are you going to tell that story on
the air, And I was like, yeah, She goes, just
don't embarrass Bubbies.
Speaker 6 (01:13):
Oh, I'm not.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Going to embarrass him. I think it's totally fine.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
I think it's gonna be okay.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
And then in that same in that same person who
like she cares so much about him, like she will
tell him, dude, you need to touch grass, learn how
to ride your bike.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Hey, that makes this alsa. Thanks for calling in, Thank
you for listening. What he got for three things we
need to know?
Speaker 3 (01:36):
The nation's top health agency announced it will determine and
disclose the cause of autism. Health and Human Services Secretary
Robert F. Kennedy Junior said the effort will be completed
by September and will involve hundreds of scientists, confidently announcing
we will know the cause of autism by September. That's
not very far away, so we'll wait and see if
(01:58):
they actually do, which I mean, I think a lot
of people would like to know that now if you're
feeling stressed. There's lots of coping methods out there, but
this one seems to be the easiest I've ever heard of.
They found just imagining yourself in nature can ease stress.
They said, it brings your heart rate down, makes you
feel relaxed. It suggests that, like you know, when access
(02:19):
to nature isn't available, you're stuck at work, you're stuck
in a cube buckle, and you are feeling stressed out
your stuff in traffic on the road. Just imagining yourself
in any type of nature, your favorite ish, you're on
the beach, in a like you know, in the forest, whatever,
It literally eases your stress almost immediately.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
They say.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Obviously being in nature is better, but you can use
your imagination and it will also help.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
So.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Bird nesting, I guess, is the latest trend in relationships.
Apparently this is, you know, instead of kids bouncing between
two homes in a divorced situation, the parents take turns
living in the family house while the kids stay put,
just like birds returning to a nest.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
I've had a few friends do that. It's a little weird,
just like they get like an apartment that they'll go
to the apartment and then go to the house.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
I mean, the idea sounds pretty good. It minimizes the
disruption for the kids, keeps them sleeping the same bed
every night, keeps them in this like more stable situation
like this is my neighborhood, these are my neighborhood friends,
this is my school. Experts say it really can be
a great short term fix keeping kids in, you know,
in their comfort zone, but they warn it shouldn't drag
(03:26):
on too long because it gives it risks, giving the
kids false hope that like the marriage may get back together,
you know what I mean, Like, oh, things are going
to return to normal, but they will have to find
a new normal bird nesting And that's three things you
need to know.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Peg, what's the vibe for predictions? Today?
Speaker 7 (03:42):
We're going to talk about our petty superpowers based on
our zodiac signs.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
Ali, good morning, what's your sign?
Speaker 7 (03:50):
Hi?
Speaker 1 (03:51):
I'm Aries?
Speaker 7 (03:52):
All right. We still are in airy season. We have
about a week and a half left. But Aries, you
can win any argument by share volume and audacity alone.
Your petty superpower is making people second guess their own
memories and thoughts, like were they wrong? Or are you
just that convincing chaos is literally an Ari's cardio.
Speaker 4 (04:11):
I love that her superhero.
Speaker 7 (04:15):
Yeah actually that's oh god in a good way, though
not in the bad magnipulative way.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
Is there a good gas.
Speaker 7 (04:24):
I'm trying to help you out here, Ali, thank you.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yeah, you're right, Yeah, good, it's good.
Speaker 6 (04:29):
Guess yeah right right right, thanks Ali, thanks for listening.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Mara, good morning. What's your signed?
Speaker 2 (04:38):
It's Mara.
Speaker 7 (04:38):
I'm a scorpio, Mara, okay, scorpio, Scorpio. Your petty superpower
is plotting and waiting. You sit on betrayal like it's fine,
and then you strike in a group chat six months
later with a full breakdown and why you don't trust anyone?
No one is safe and my scorpios are the petty avengers.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Oh well that's that's that's probably.
Speaker 7 (05:01):
I like trust like maybe two people in my life exactly.
You sing a scorpio, they don't trust you and ever again.
Speaker 5 (05:08):
Yeah, thanks Mare, Gabriella.
Speaker 7 (05:14):
All right, I'm a Gemini, Okay, Geminis. When it comes
to your petty superpower, you can start drama, deny it,
and then narrate the whole situation like a podcast host.
Your petty superpower is spinning chaos so well that people
actually thank you for it. You are the source and
you will never admit it.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
Thank you you well, thank you.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
Hi November, welcome morning, did you guys miss me?
Speaker 7 (05:42):
We did? Where have you been.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
Working?
Speaker 2 (05:45):
I'm actually traveling Hygienna, so I've been going to work
like super early in the morning.
Speaker 7 (05:50):
So yeah, thank you guys terribly.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
I listened to the podcast.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
Last night after Nick HARRASSI so.
Speaker 7 (05:59):
Well I got for the Taurus for November. Well, November
is your name, and you are a Taurus. But Taurus,
your petty superpower is blocking people mid combo, mid sentence, midlife,
and then sleeping like a baby right after. You will ghost, unfollow,
and delete with a precision of a NASA engineer, Cold,
comfy and unbothered for my Taurus.
Speaker 5 (06:20):
That's very true. Okay.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Also, this will be my last call before my birthdays.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
You have toppy birthday to meet.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
Happy birthday, thank you.
Speaker 7 (06:29):
It's not till twenty sixth.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
I'm going to Europe tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
Oh my gosh, how fun.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Well you are a traveling hys.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Those people Europe, their teeth cleaned more than.
Speaker 7 (06:40):
Ever, have the best birthday trip.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
That's twas no Happy birthday, Jen, Good morning? What your sign?
Speaker 6 (06:47):
Morning?
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Aquarius?
Speaker 7 (06:48):
Okay, Aquarius. Your petty superpower is unfollowing someone but still
watching their stories from a burner account while journaling about
your emotional detachment. You are the CEO of not mad,
just irving.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
I have a I have.
Speaker 7 (07:11):
That's all right.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Have a great weekend, you have a great day.
Speaker 7 (07:17):
How about pis Yeah, rich my Pisces. Your petty superpower.
You'll cry while dragging someone and somehow they'll still feel
like the villain. So your petty superpower is poetic vengeance.
You'll write a sad song, prost a cryptic quote, and
then block them on everything except Venmo. How about libras
Libra Kyle, you will destroy someone's soul with a compliment.
(07:40):
You're like the kind that's like no, no, I love
that you're not afraid to dress for comfort. Your petty
superpower is being so fake nice it takes people three
hours to realize that you just bottom them.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
Auto virgos.
Speaker 7 (08:00):
You can clock someone's weakness and point three seconds and
weaponize it like a savage. Your petty superpower is a passive,
aggressive to do list, strategic silence, and a just checking
intext that ruins someone's whole mood.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Okay, what about for Leo's.
Speaker 7 (08:14):
Leo's your petty superpower is remembering what everyone was wearing
during a fight and then holding it against them. We're
gonna clap back at you and be like, you betrayed
me in a Forever twenty one top? Are you serious
on it? We keep receipts in HD with timestamps.
Speaker 5 (08:29):
I like your outfit right now. You look really and
you look really at your makeup, your glasses, your hat,
your yeah rebrand. Peyton rebrand is from New York.
Speaker 7 (08:38):
No, it's actually funny. I was like doing a Day
in the Life vlog earlier this morning, and I made
a prediction. I was like, my prediction is that Grant's
gonna tell me that I look really cool and he
likes my outfit. But I was wrong, John Jay, you
were the one that did it.
Speaker 6 (08:52):
I was gonna say, Peyton, it's nice. She came to
work comfortable.
Speaker 5 (08:55):
Today from the waist up and it looks like she's
wearing a cool shirt and a the Yankee cap.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
But is there something that what do you wearing sweats? Geez?
Speaker 6 (09:04):
Also, it kind of like if you just see the
top half of Peyton. It looks like pajamas. It looks
like cool, like a pajamas.
Speaker 7 (09:13):
I thrift did this from Goodwill for like four dollars,
so I'm sure it's some old man shirts.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Yeah, it looks good.
Speaker 5 (09:18):
I think I think it looked great. I was gonna
say that for you here about half hour Agoes, I
thought you looked really, really good. So what happened? Granted
the studio? Because Grant has a podcast.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
Called a Terrible Person. Terrible Person and there's not a
better name for you in your podcast.
Speaker 6 (09:32):
Yeah, it's it's my wife and I and it's basically
a couple's therapy. We've been doing it for five years
and we haven't really resolved our issues yet. But we
were on the discussion of Crumble cookies. You know, the
big co lab this week is the Kardashians. Obviously that
they're special cookies, and we knew that Kyle and Peyton
both had those cookies this week. So Caitlin had a
(09:54):
gift card and she was like, should we go to Crumble?
And I said, let's call Kyle and Peyton. Of course,
Peyton didn't answer.
Speaker 7 (10:00):
I was busy hanging out with Kevin Duran, Yeah, jo Jays.
Speaker 6 (10:02):
So basically we called Kyle and she called us back,
and we got these really sweet clips because apparently we
called during bedtime.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
Your point of view, Kyle, what happened.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
So I am in the midst of the kids just
took showers and baths, and we are like getting ready
for bed, like I'm brushing ADDIE's hair, We're doing all
the things, and it's always chaos because for some reason,
right around bedtime is when they get the most energy.
So I had actually missed the call and Addie was like,
it's Grant. Grant's calling. I'm like, answer it, answer it,
(10:35):
and she's like she comes to the phone and like
the phone call had already dropped, and so we called
back and I was like, what's up, Grant.
Speaker 6 (10:42):
But we captured something in real time that was very
cool because you know, Kyle's a great mom, and I
think part of being a great mom is hiding things
from your kids. And apparently she didn't tell her kids
that she had the Crumble cookies, and you get to
hear Addison find out that not only did she have
the Crumble cookies, she didn't bring any home for Addison.
So that's what Clip one.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
Is I would want to try all of them.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
The fire for you, but your.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
Mom, did you dirty? Addison?
Speaker 3 (11:17):
Also, yes, you can go play baseball.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
That's clip one.
Speaker 6 (11:26):
Hearing the realization and how sad Addison is clip one.
Clip two is just just a nice clip of some
mother daughter bonding here. So I'm excited for next week's
Crumble collab.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Well, I know, I wondered, whither else would we like
to see as a Crumble collab?
Speaker 6 (11:43):
Kanye West?
Speaker 4 (11:44):
Oh, okays like that one.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
What's up Adison?
Speaker 3 (11:52):
Okay, you're singing Kanye right now?
Speaker 6 (11:58):
So yeah, basically there's there's about a ten minute conversation
and those were you know.
Speaker 3 (12:02):
Two of this the fact that like, oh, Grant, Kaitlin,
are never going to call me a gang because it
was such chaos getting an answer out of me, everything
going on.
Speaker 6 (12:10):
Kyle actually talked for about four minutes without actually saying
yes or no on That was funny.
Speaker 5 (12:15):
About Kyle still because you call her in the evening,
you could hear her, you know, she's like hello, good, Yeah,
her voice gets so deep in the afternoon. I'm trying
to put my kids to bed, put the lotion in
the basket.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
Anyway, what if you got for life?
Speaker 5 (12:29):
Oh, by the way, your podcast is available on iHeart
