Speaker 1 (00:00):
Kyle, what are three things you need to know?

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Someone's not great news for your Halloween stash. They say
chocolate prices are skyrocketing, So rich I know you like
to get those full sized candy bars. A box of
full sized candy bars would run about forty bucks a box.
Last year, they're up to fifty bucks of boxes. Generally,
they say bags of candy are five dollars more than
they were last year.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Just because of that, I know, I know.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
The cool thing is, though, is that Eminem says, for
the second year in the row, their Rescue Squad will
deliver free candy refills on Halloween. If you live in
a Go Puff area, you request your rescue at MMS
dot com slash Rescue dash.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Squad, which is pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Meanwhile, Apple TV Plus has just announced a rebrand that
they say will give them a vibrant new identity. The
rebrand they dropped the plus, so it's what you already
called it, Apple TV, just without the plus. No a
vibrant new identity.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
Richard, I don't think I've ever said the plus part.
I say Disney Plus.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
I think that's why they dropped it, because nobody says
it anyway.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
Everyone in fact, I started watching a new show on
there by the way that I recommend. I was not
expecting the show to be as fantastic as it is.
I think it's called Last Frontier.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Oh yeah, I saw the previous for that looks like
a space show. Got plane.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
It's like con Air, I think if you remember the
movie Conny Air, so it is. The first five minutes
is insane and fun to watch. It's a plane that
is going somewhere in North Alaska full of criminals, and
it's picking up this one bad criminal and he is
chained up like he's handcuffed, he's got a bag over
his head, he's got his eye, he's got his mouth shut,

(01:40):
he's it's and they put him on the plane and
the plane crashes and all these criminals are now loose,
and there's a.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Guy who I really like the actor.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
I know the actor is, but I remember him being
like a zero Dark thirty or is that what's called
zero directory And and there are all these criminals now
out and he's trying to catch them, and then the
FBI and the CIA are involved.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
It's really really good, action.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Packed Okay, I mean it does sound really good, really good,
also pretty cool they announced that F one, the movie
is going to hit Apple TV December twelfth, streaming.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
I can't wait to watch that movie again. It was
really good. Do you guys remember the name Edwin Castro.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
He's the guy that won two billion dollars in the
power Ball.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Check this out. He's putting his wind to good use.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
He's actually rebuilding homes in his hometown of Altadena after
the recent wildfires.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
He actually bought up a whole bunch of the.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Burnt land and he's restoring it with classic craftsman file
Craftsman style houses and selling them back to locals instead
of developers, saying he feels like this is his his
calling to give back to his community.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Good for him, that's amazing.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yeah, I've heard, and I've heard a lot of that
land is being bought up by developers and they're doing
like not what it was originally meant, like not what
it was, and a lot of locals are getting upset.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
So I think it's really cool that he's doing that.
And that's three things you need to know.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Have you ever seen the houses that he's bought this guy, Oh.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
No, the after making the two billion dollars.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Mansions in Beverly Hills, like the guys has definitely been
living it up the right way, having a good time,
and then he's like giving back to the community, which
is great. So I just want to put that out
of the universe that if I ever win to power Ble,
that's what I will do, but I'll do it first.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
I will first get.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
Back to my community a couple hundred million and then
enjoy the billions.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Just throwing it out there. Are you watching anything anything
new on TV or anything.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
I'm watching Boots still.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Oh that's good.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Huh.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
I feel like I'm getting close to the end of it,
like I'm close to finishing it, and it is it
is a pretty good show.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
I also am watching Love is Blind.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Because I'm a sucker for reality TV and I always
love Love is Blind and this.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
New season does not disappoint per the usual. And then
I also watched.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
The Victoria Beckham documentary or docuseries, which I just I
think she's so she's so charming, and I feel like
nobody ever gave her a chance, Like when she decided
to enter the fashion world, they were like, who's this
girl think she is?

Speaker 1 (03:54):
And she did it?

Speaker 5 (03:56):
Do you feel like that documentary is like them trying
to make us forget about her Spice Girls days.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
No, because she acknowledges it, and she even like she
even shares like the exact moment where she feels like
she had to like put Posh Spice behind her, where
she just felt like like she opened up about how
like they did a reunion tour the Spice Girls, and
she was like, I was on stage.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
It was really cool for my kids to see.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Me do that.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
But that also made me realize.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
That that was my passion anymore like fashion was my passion.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Pop Off Victoria.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Right, So, I'm watching Slow Horses on Apple. I'm watching
Last Frontier, I'm watching Boots on Hulu. I'm watching doc
and I'm watching Chad Powers.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
I gotta watch that. He was just telling me again
about it yesterday.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
I know, I know, I think you will really enjoy
yourself while you're watching it, and I like him. It's
one of those shows where it's just like you can
kind of just watch it and you're chuckling. You kind
of enjoy the storyline and you look forward to it
the next week, but you're not like, you know, not
counting down the days. And I'm excited when it pops
up on Hulu.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
It's great.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
Also, it does something else for me, like it makes
me really like Glenn Powell.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Yeah, I already liked him.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
I know, I know, I thought he was. I always
thought he was. He was. Okay, he didn't do that,
he didn't.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
But now to know that he took a role like
this and he's behind the scenes part of it makes
me like him. Even Like he's got a new movie
coming out called, what is it? The Shortszegger movie Running Man?
Oh yeah, he's got Running Man. And when I saw
the preview for Running Man a couple months ago, I
was like, eh, it just seemed little too much. Right now,
after watching him as Chad Powers, I want to go
see Running Mat to support him because I really like him.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yeah, No, I feel that.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
I feel like Chad Powers was the show that they
made for Glenn Powell to show that he has range,
that he can do comedy, that he can be serious.
Like I feel like that's what the show does, but
he really doesn't.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
Justice.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Are you all caught up?

Speaker 4 (05:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Okay, so there's okay.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
So I've told you guys that the story behind Chad
Powers it was Eli Manning right when undercover as Chad Powers,
and it was a fun little yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
I remember during training camp that coming out.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
The most recent episode they cut to so Chad Powers
does this amazing play and he's just weirdo. Right, they
cut to Eli Manning to catch up Bar and he
just starts cussing like it's funny, Like there's all this
inside stuff that's just really fun to watch.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
And it's also I like when they do that that
little nod to the outside.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Yeah. Yeah, it's so much fun.
