Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning, Brian, Good morning, what's up? How are you, sir?
I wanted to call and tell you. First of all,
I'm on my cellphone, I'm not on speakerphone, and I'm
not in a box. I took my son to the
basketball game the other day, and this is how much
apparently we must talk about you find morning show folks.

(00:20):
But I'm like, heybody, let's go to the basketball game.
And he's like, yeah, let's go. Maybe we'll see John
Jay there. And I'm like, what, I was there? Wait
a minute, I thought you liked the Booker. He's like, yeah,
but I think John j Is gonna be there. I'm like,
all right, but I guess they'll look for John Jay.
But you were there, Yes, you were.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Yeah, Booker's there. He's there the whole time with me.
You don't know when I'm gonna leave. Stayed the whole game.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Was Yeah, it was good though. He was very excited
to see you, so well.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Thank you, Brian, thanks for listening. And I don't know
if we met up or not, but I.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Yeah we did. Yeah, we did. Love you met my
my family and my wife. She was I think talk
to your sister. She works at a local funeral home.
So you've actually got to talk to us your sister.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Wait, your wife works at a funeral home.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Yes, how exciting. Okay, I just spoke to your sister.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Yeah, she'll be there this year too, November fifteenth. I
hope to see there.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Gotcha, thanks?

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Brother. By the way, I was at the at the
Sun's game, and I ate a lot of food right
because Rich and I just landed from.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Chicago and there was no food on that plane.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
I changed clothes, went to the Sun's game, and I
was I saw my neighbors there and I was telling
him I was eating a whole bunch of foit. The
guy goes, man, you sure get a lot, and I go,
I'm star ban. I just flew into Chicago. Halftime, I
tell Blake. I right before halftime, I tell Blake, I
got to go to the bathroom and go to the bathroom,
grab a hot dog, and I'm scarfing down this hot
dog like I hadn't eaten it in my life. And
my neighbor turns around and sees me eating a hot

(01:51):
dog like he walked through a corner. And I'm like, oh, justo,
he already comes to my eating a half hour ago.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Anyway, John Jayego pulled off a feet that only John
j could pull off because it was like this big
fancy banquet dinner that we're at and they gave us
our food and it's like they're kind of rolling through
the food pretty quick, and the steaks we're pretty small.
Somehow between the two of us, John Jay negotiated four stakes,
four file ats and you know I can't. I can't
eat all my half one I the rest.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
What are three things we need to know?

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Your phone maybe aging you faster than you think. Dermatologists
actually say the blue light from your screens can trigger
dark spots, fine lines, and even redness by cutting collagen
and messing with circulation, almost emulating sun damage. And the
surprising way they say you can stop it is by
using sunscreen with zinc oxide and vitamin C to help

(02:43):
fight the dam. Well, that's nice sunscreen for your phone.
That's bizarre to me, that's what they're saying.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Now.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Hotels say they are now taking a page out of
the airline playbook. AI powered all the cart pricing is
coming to your next day, So instead of one flat
room rate, you could soon be charged separately for things
like early check in late checkout, cleaning, or even taking
a dip at the pool. AI is going to track
habits like thermostat changes or minibar us to personalize and

(03:11):
price every perk you take advantage of. Meaning two guests
in the same hotel staying in the same style room
may pay totally different rates. Now, critics say this is
kind of nickel and diming gone wild. Hotels claim it's
about choice and transparency, paying only for.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
What you use jamboo and you know where that's going
to showup versus las of eggs because they're having problems
filling the rooms right now. So a lot of times
they'll put little surcharges on the menu that you don't
even notice, but if you do, you can say tick
that off. I'm not pin your search charge and they're
supposed to.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
It's like concierge pricing, but no, you're really just charging
for every little thing. So there is a British Vogue article.
I don't know if you guys have seen this. It's
all over the internets. It's splitting people. The author is
Chantey Joseph and she wrote it because of some research
she was doing on why some people don't actually show
their significant other own social media.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
I don't like them because she'sa me. And here's the
clan hey Man New Studio. The clips you play sometimes
things work, sometimes things don't work.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
I hit play its circle of No, it's not doing anything.
It just looks like it's a pause.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
So at one point, when I'm explaining what the article is,
she may pop up and interrupt me, and I'll just
let her, okay, But she basically says she found something
very interesting.

Speaker 6 (04:28):
And then it was like an interesting subpect of women.
And something I've noticed across line, particularly across all of
my comments of women who are just like being with
a man period is embarrassing, and you kind of just
can tell that is this feeling. You know, men are
going this way, women are going that way. Right, Women
are on a upwards trajectory, like leveling up, becoming the

(04:49):
best version of themselves, and men are not keeping up.
And so now when you see a woman who is
just killing it in her prime and then you see
her with a man, it's like whoa.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
As you can imagine it split between supportive women of
her article and men who are enraged about the article,
saying are you kidding me? And she explained. She says, listen,
this is because women don't want to deal with a
judgment or hassle if things go south in their relationship.
It's less about the relationships themselves and more about keeping
your own identity separate, reflecting a bigger cultural shift in

(05:22):
independence and doing your own thing online.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
I definitely I can see why that's sparked outrage. But
I definitely can see why I feel she feels the
way she does, like I feel like in my life,
Like when I talk to my friends, especially my friends
that aren't dating right now, they're like, I'm only dating
with the intent to marry and have kids. Like if
that's the case, you won't see me with a man
like my friends are like, you probably might meet my husband,
like at my wedding. That's how isolated I'm trying to

(05:47):
be when it comes to dating right now. Makes sense,
I guess, which is pretty wild.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
I don't think it's embarrassing to have a mean, while
Jennifer Assai just went to Instagram

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Officially, she's not embarrassed to have And that's three things
you need to know
