Speaker 1 (00:36):
My wife was stressing out the other day because she
was charged with talking one of the girls from the
pageant into getting her nails done because they looked really ratty,
according to her roommate, and she was about to get
proposed to and there's gonna be pictures with bad nails.
So Stacy's like, how do I pull off this caper?
How do I get how do I get one of
(00:58):
my girls to get her nails done? And emergency? And
I've called Stacy to tell her a side of the story.
Good morning, love of my life, Oh, good.
Speaker 6 (01:06):
Morning, Hello, Well, I want to correct you. They didn't
look ratty. They do not say that.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
I heard they look like claws like she had been
like doing some gardening work.
Speaker 6 (01:21):
No, no, they just weren't done. And if you're getting engaged,
as of course Kylin Peyton would know, you just want
your nails to be perfectly done and pretty and fresh
so that when that ring goes on, you know your
hand is ready for photos. But they didn't look ratty, So.
Speaker 5 (01:41):
Let me try to get like your point of view.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
You find out that someone you know is getting is
going to get engaged, and you are not happy with
her nails, so you want to do her a solid
and somehow nudge her to get a manicure.
Speaker 6 (01:53):
Well, and it's a little more than that, so if
I may so, I, she says. Know, I'm the director
of the Miss Arizona organization, and this we are talking
about Miss Arizona herself.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Oh, it's even more stressful deal.
Speaker 7 (02:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (02:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (02:10):
But the cool thing is because I am the director
of the Miss Arizona Organization, I have a little pull
with my winner. Because this is Miss Arizona herself, I
can get her to get her nails done like that's
kind of she has to do that, I tell her
to do it.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
What do you say, how does that work out?
Speaker 6 (02:28):
So if you but but yeah, but I can't be
so obvious about it because it's not like I've ever
told her to do that before. You know, It's just
that that's within my purview if I want to do that.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
But you also, but the thing is, you know she's
going to get engaged and you know what day you know, like,
how do you, like, did the fiance the future?
Speaker 5 (02:47):
Like did the guy reach out to you?
Speaker 9 (02:48):
Like?
Speaker 5 (02:48):
How did you find this out?
Speaker 6 (02:49):
Her best friend reached out?
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Okay, so it's a dilemma.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
I think.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
I think it's a dilumma. Even if you're not.
Speaker 7 (02:55):
It's a good friend someone, right if.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
You find out that Peyton's getting engaged and you look
at her nails, like, oh god, I've got to somehow
do her a solid and get her to get her
nails done because you know, someone like Peyton's gonna be
posting the ring in the hands up right.
Speaker 10 (03:08):
But then also I am confused, how like her best
friend didn't just say, hey, let's go get her nails
done together?
Speaker 7 (03:15):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 11 (03:16):
Yeah, because I feel like miss Arizona, like, she's more
likely to have her nails done me. I never have
my nails tell difficult.
Speaker 12 (03:26):
I'd be like, this is weird. But ok.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
So why didn't her friend handle it? Why did her
friend go to you just because she knew you have
the power?
Speaker 6 (03:33):
What I know from what I understood, her friend kind
of tried to nudge her to do it, and she
was like, I'm too busy to get my nails done.
I just don't have time. Like the only way we're
getting this done is if somebody orders her to get
her nails done, and I'm the only person who can
do that.
Speaker 10 (03:51):
That makes sense because if you nudge and then you
keep going, then it's like very obvious that something's going on,
and as the best, you don't want to give up
the fact that she's about to get proposed to and
ruin the surprise.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Okay, so you did it exactly.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
So what did you do?
Speaker 4 (04:06):
So?
Speaker 6 (04:06):
Because we're in the position where people like to donate
their services to our group, I said, hey, you know
that nail sponsor that we've been working with, there's been
a little confusion with them and they're not really sure
what our agreement is right now, and I'm feeling like
the relationship might be kind of on shaky ground, and
(04:29):
we need to have you go in there, get your
nails done and give them some social love so that
they're back in, like firmly back in with our organization,
so they keep sponsoring, you know, periodic free nails. And
she was so cute. She was like, Oh, I'm happy
to go in and do that. I'd love to do that.
I'll definitely post on social But would this be a
(04:52):
free service or am I going to have to pay?
And then all of a sudden, I was like, oh
my gosh, So now here I am telling her it's
for the organization, but now I'm gonna make her pay.
So I was like, oh, no, no, no, it's for
the organization.
Speaker 13 (05:05):
You just go in, you get.
Speaker 6 (05:06):
Your nails done, but you tell me how much it was.
I'll then mo you because it's for the organization. Even
though it really wasn't for the organization.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
It was totally for her.
Speaker 6 (05:16):
But I was like, I had to think on the spot.
But they were so nice that when she went in there,
they just did her nails for free.
Speaker 5 (05:22):
Oh that's okay.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Now, Miss Arizona is her name's Tiffany. Yes, her name
is Okay, so now we have tiff we have Miss
Arizona on the line. Tiffany, are you there? I am
assuming you got engaged this last weekend.
Speaker 14 (05:37):
I did just yesterday.
Speaker 15 (05:41):
Day.
Speaker 13 (05:42):
Thank you?
Speaker 1 (05:43):
And how your nails look? They didn't look already, did they?
Speaker 16 (05:46):
No?
Speaker 8 (05:47):
They didn't.
Speaker 13 (05:48):
A funny story. I was dead said against getting my
nails done because I was like, it'll be fine. I
can use press ons like, I don't need nails. I
obviously didn't know I was getting engaged. So I'm Ethan,
who's off of here, my Beyonce. He he got with
Stacy who rich you know well, and convinced her to
text me to tell me that I needed to go
(06:10):
get my nails done with the Miss Arizona sponsor. I
suspected nothing. So I did have my nails done. Things
to Stacey who did and it was pretty fun.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Okay, So when you got engaged, what did anything go
through your mind for a second, like, oh, thank god,
I got my nails done on.
Speaker 13 (06:28):
The later, like like like two minutes after. In the moment,
I don't think I was thinking about my nails, but
right after it, yes, I then I was really like
like so grateful that this happened. And then I realized
it was all a.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Setup, the team work behind this.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
I'll tell you, hey, can we put pictures up of
your ring?
Speaker 13 (06:46):
Absolutely, I'll send them.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
How about the pedicure place, mannicure Place, let's the name
of it. Let's give them some love.
Speaker 13 (06:51):
Milano nails Spot. They're amazing there on Glendale in north
central Phoenix and they are the best.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
All right, Well, what a happy day, what fun? Where
to go, Stacy? Where to go? It's like, if you
knew Rich was going to have a photo shoot, you
make sure he gets his ears waxed.
Speaker 5 (07:14):
Well, congratulations, Tiffany.
Speaker 13 (07:16):
Thank you?
Speaker 2 (07:18):
All right, Well that was fun.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
That's Stacy's a pretty good liar. Huh, just coming up
with stuff. You gonna keep her, keep her on patrol.
Speaker 7 (07:26):
Yeah, watch your six.
Speaker 5 (07:28):
Imagine what that's like.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
I can remember my dad being in a position like this, right, Like,
I was extremely overweight and unhealthy. So my dad makes
a bet with me if I can lose a certain
amount of weight in a year, he'd give me a
thousand dollars.
Speaker 5 (07:41):
Right, So it's like, did I take the hint?
Speaker 2 (07:44):
I didn't realize until much later that the bet was
because I needed to lose weight. Right, there's a whole
setup ahead of time before that. Right, So I'm wondering,
when did you take the hint? When did you not
take the hint? Or if you've been in that situation
before and you tried to or you have to do
the nudge. You have to nudge somebody. Call us at
eight seven seven, nine three seven one o four seven.
If it worked, if it didn't work, John Jay and Rich.
Speaker 17 (08:05):
From the car to the office.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Wake out with them every morning, John Jay and.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
Rich Kayne, what's a bye for horoscopes?
Speaker 11 (08:11):
Well, today's horoscopes are all about love, and we're finding
out which signs are total lovers and which ones are
absolutely ruthless. And if it's your birthday today you are
a Libra and you share a birthday.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
With Usher and Ralph Lauren, it's all about love.
Speaker 5 (08:23):
Good morning, Joseph. What's your sign?
Speaker 18 (08:26):
Hi? I am any Capricorn?
Speaker 11 (08:28):
Okay, So Capricorns, you're actually a strategic lover.
Speaker 12 (08:31):
You're slow to open up, but once you do, you're
actually all in.
Speaker 11 (08:34):
But until then you're emotionally on do not deserve So basically,
if you're a Capricorn, and you're dating someone that's probably.
Speaker 12 (08:40):
Your end all be all.
Speaker 18 (08:41):
Oh okay, okay, well that actually kind of seals them
some blanks for me, I think.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Perfect love that for you, Thanks Joseph, thank you. So
you're you're letting us know what kind of lover we are.
Speaker 11 (08:53):
Well, if you're a lover or if like you're ruthless
just in general, like you're not like that love stuff
not for you.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
Okay, So Kyle's birthday is just a couple days away.
Is she ruthless or a lover?
Speaker 11 (09:03):
Well, honestly, I feel like Libra as we all know
that they are lovers and they'll romanticize someone's basic text
message like it's Shakespeare.
Speaker 12 (09:11):
So you believe in love even when you should not.
Speaker 7 (09:13):
Yeah, you're like reading the second he said yes, I'll
get back to you.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
How great is that?
Speaker 11 (09:25):
Kyle's like he may have texted k but at least
he texted you back.
Speaker 7 (09:29):
It was a capital K.
Speaker 11 (09:31):
How about Pisces, rich over, my Pisces, You're a certified lover.
You're crying to songs, journaling about your crush and planning
the wedding before date two. It's unhinged and honestly a
little bit adorable.
Speaker 19 (09:44):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
Yeah, when you get chills when you hear songs, then
you're a romantic.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Yeah, totally les.
Speaker 11 (09:49):
Leo's we love big, bold and loud, but if someone
doesn't match our energy, we can go ruthless real quick.
So we're either obsessed or unbothered, and there's no in between.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
I agree with We.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
Got a text ask you for Scorpios.
Speaker 11 (10:02):
Oh yeah, I got you on Scorpios. I feel like scorpio.
You guys have the stingers, So Scorpio, you're ruthless one
hundred percent. You give all your love to the right person,
but cross you once and they'll never emotionally recover.
Speaker 12 (10:15):
It's giving. I love you, but also I hext you.
Speaker 5 (10:18):
Hey, how about virgos.
Speaker 11 (10:19):

passionate or slightly dramatic, you're bored. You'll fall hard, fight harder,
and still text. What you do in five minutes after
you break up with someone.
Speaker 5 (11:01):
That's definitely me.
Speaker 6 (11:02):
I'm a little toxic, if you might.
Speaker 12 (11:04):
I was about to say it sounds a little toxic
to me.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Just a little toxic, though not all toxic, just a little,
just a little scotch.
Speaker 15 (11:14):

Speaker 19 (11:31):
Check?
Speaker 12 (11:32):
Say check?
Speaker 2 (11:33):
One O four to seven Kiss FM, John Jay and Rich.
Good morning, Mercedes.
Speaker 20 (11:37):
I am honestly so frustrated right now. My husband twenty
year old daughter moved back with us, and the whole
situation is so tense. I'm only about like ten years
older than her, so the dynamic is already like awkward,
and she's making it very clear that she doesn't like me,
probably because my husband left her mom for.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
Me, you know.
Speaker 20 (11:59):
Yeah, And honestly, what makes it worse is the fact
that her bedroom is now my office and since I
work from home, is completely thrown my office routine, and
whenever I'm working, she goes out of her way, you know,
being loud, making noises, moving things, and she's almost pushing
(12:20):
me out to the extent, guys, to the extent that
I am packing up my things going to coffee shop
to get my work done, and that just feels so unfair.
You have to understand, it's only a ten year difference
between us, and you know, it's just feel awkward as
it is. And the way that our relationships started, I mean,
he left her mom to be with me, So that's
(12:45):
very uncomfortable as it is, you know.
Speaker 11 (12:47):
Right, because I feel like if I was in your
position and I was upset about that, I wouldn't like
move back into that.
Speaker 10 (12:53):
That's why I was wondering why she chose to have
back in, Like if I hated my stepmom.
Speaker 7 (12:58):
Yeah, there's no way I'm going.
Speaker 10 (12:59):
Hey, can I move in with you guys, unless maybe
it is sort of a vindictive thing and she's trying
to do it on purpose to tear you guys apart.
Speaker 5 (13:07):
But she has no other choice.
Speaker 7 (13:09):
I mean, that could be that too.
Speaker 5 (13:10):
What if she can't live with her mom?
Speaker 2 (13:11):
What if her mom was in a traumatic car accident
and lost her memory?
Speaker 7 (13:16):
Yeah, that's that's Is that the case?
Speaker 12 (13:17):
Dream?
Speaker 20 (13:19):
No, that's not the case. I honestly thinks, like you said, Vindicted.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
Like Spike, you do you guys bond over anything at all?
Is there any common ground that you could you know,
be in the uh the odd man out that you
could kind of, like, you know, just try to make
the peace a little bit.
Speaker 12 (13:36):
I don't know, maybe like her husband and the dad.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
I mean, but is there something that you guys can
bond over together that isn't that isn't the sore subject?
Speaker 17 (13:44):
We probably do.
Speaker 20 (13:45):
I mean, it's only ten years different. I mean, and
I tried. I have tried, Trust me, I have tried,
and I have n't sit down with her and talked,
you know, like you know, listen, I'm trying.
Speaker 15 (13:55):
I haven't.
Speaker 20 (13:56):
But he's just very uncomfortable, especially the fact that if
my job on the line, you know, she is making
my office a living hell. You know, I work from home.
You know how normal it is to work from home nowadays.
Speaker 7 (14:09):
So yeah, I don't know. I kind of feel like.
Speaker 10 (14:13):
I hate to say it, in this way, but like,
I kind of feel like you need to suck it
up and find a way to make it work.
Speaker 7 (14:19):
Like this is your husband's daughter.
Speaker 10 (14:21):
There, that's a bond that you know you don't want
to ever come between. You don't want to cause a
rift between a daughter and a father, a father and
a daughter. And I kind of feel like this is
a situation where you can come out on top with
the whole killing with kindness thing, because the kinder you
are and the meaner she is to you, at one
point she'll go I'm being mean all the time and
(14:42):
she's nothing but nice to me, like and maybe she'll
get a different perspective of who you are as a person.
Speaker 7 (14:48):
It's kind of like she's young.
Speaker 10 (14:50):
I know that you said it's only a ten ten
year difference, but she still has ten years behind you
in maturity.
Speaker 7 (14:55):
It's like you have to be the bigger person in
this case.
Speaker 10 (14:58):
And I think eventually, I think it'll take a lot
of time, but eventually she may turn around and be like,
oh my gosh, Mercedes is actually a really, really nice person.
Speaker 20 (15:08):
Do you actually think a twenty year old would I.
Speaker 10 (15:11):
Said it would take time. I said it take time,
but consistency. It's like, you have to consistently be the
kinder person in that case, and then eventually she'll be like,
I can't like I mean to her and all she
is is nice to me. It's like, at one point,
that's not satisfying for a person who's doing something.
Speaker 20 (15:27):
If it is vindictive, that's a good point of view.
Speaker 6 (15:31):
I gonna say.
Speaker 20 (15:31):
You know, it's just I guess it takes the best
out of me. You know, it takes a lot of patience.
Speaker 5 (15:38):
You want us to call her for you? We can
call her right now?
Speaker 17 (15:42):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Oh, way to roll with it? Why not?
Speaker 7 (15:47):
Let's do this. It's a throwtown.
Speaker 5 (15:52):
What about we call your husband. Let's call your husband.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
See what he thinks. What's your husband's name, Mercedes. Okay,
let's just call Ray and see what he says. Let's
get his point of you. I wonder if he even
knows this kind of drama is going on in his life.
Speaker 13 (16:07):
He should.
Speaker 12 (16:20):
Hello, hey's Ray there.
Speaker 10 (16:23):
This is him.
Speaker 11 (16:24):
Hey, Ray, we just wanted to talk to you on
the radio really quickly, if you got time this morning.
Speaker 9 (16:28):
I do what's going on?
Speaker 5 (16:31):
Ray?
Speaker 2 (16:31):
We got a call from your wonderful wife, your amazing wife,
and she said a little bit of a predicament, and you,
as her husband, we don't know if you know, so
we thought we could call you and get your opinion
on this. Okay, Mercedes, are you there?
Speaker 6 (16:46):
Yes?
Speaker 18 (16:47):
Hi, honey, Oh, what's going on?
Speaker 20 (16:50):
Well, I was just.
Speaker 4 (16:53):
Letting them know.
Speaker 20 (16:54):
I was exposing my issue ever since your daughter moved
to the house, how much our world has clashed me
and her because I'm only ten years older than her,
and now it used to be her room, it's now
my office.
Speaker 6 (17:13):
And we talked about this before.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
She feels that your daughter moved in and it's uncomfortable
and that she's being pushed out and that she doesn't understand.
And we all are trying to figure out why your
daughter moved back in. Is there something going on? So
just we're just helping her communicate a little bit more.
Speaker 9 (17:28):
I'm sorry, I just want to hear it correctly. So
you're because we've talked about the office, but she's she's
saying that my daughter's trying to push her.
Speaker 5 (17:34):
Out something like that.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Right, Mercedes, you feel uncomfortable, You want to get to
the bottom of it.
Speaker 20 (17:38):
In a piece, Well, honey, I told you there's I
mean there has been, you know, days that I had
to back up everything, go to a coffee shop and
keep working, because it's almost like she does that on purpose.
You know, she goes to the room, she start moving things,
making noise. You know, it almost feels like on purpose.
I don't, I don't want to know, you know what
I'm saying.
Speaker 9 (18:00):
I do know that I didn't. I mean, she is
cut aloud. I mean, I know she's back in college,
so she needed an opportunity to, like, like during the
break right to rest. So it's not permanent. But I
had no idea that you felt that she was, you know,
trying to push you out. I mean, I'll definitely have
a conversation with her, for sure, and with you about
this whole situation.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
I didn't know that uncomfortable, say, dad and husband caught
in the middle of you guys. It's tough.
Speaker 5 (18:25):
I know, I'm going to try to be the best
step dad I can be.
Speaker 20 (18:31):
I really love you know, I love my husband, and
I just want to make sure that everything works out.
I mean, I get it, you know, honey, the way
our relationship started, and I guess she sees me as
the animate you know.
Speaker 9 (18:44):
I mean we've talked and she likes you, So I
don't see why we can't have a conversation about this,
figure it out, because, like I said, I didn't think
that if pushing you out or what you're saying that
you feel. But if that's what you feel, then we
should definitely talk about it.
Speaker 11 (18:59):
And it could be a little guilty conscience on Mercedes end,
you know, knowing that your daughter came back in, knowing
the circumstances that you guys got together, and how you
know you left her. I'm assuming her mom or whatever.
But hopefully you guys can get it all figured out,
because nobody wants to live like they're walking on eggshells
at home.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
Let's all communicate, all right. Thank you both for going
in the air with us. You got it all right,
Good luck.
Speaker 10 (19:21):
Thanks coffee in hand, your buds on John Jay.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
And Rich Lady Spacks and Hacks. I have SAX information
and Rich has live hacks. This is pretty big you guys. Kyle.
Do you know what a cauldron is?
Speaker 7 (19:40):
I believe it's what the witches make their bruin.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Yes, I believe you're right. Yes, see this story. The
witches of TikTok No. They want to boycott the company
crock Pot because they say that company broke their promise
to deliver a cauldron this year. This is one witch
named Claire talking about it on TikTok Witches.
Speaker 19 (20:02):
We have an official update from Crockpot on the Crockpot cauldron.
They posted yesterday shortly after I made a post about
when is the cauldron coming? I'm going to keep posting
until it arrives. They said, we acknowledge that everybody's been
asking for the cauldron. They posted a bunch of the
comments and a bunch of the messages from people asking
where is this cauldron that we were promised last year?
(20:22):
And so they said that there will not be a
Crockpot cauldron this year.
Speaker 12 (20:29):
This is very unfortunate.
Speaker 19 (20:31):
I think I speak for all witches and alternative people
and we say we would buy this year around any
time of year, so it would definitely be profitable if
it draft in like October, wrong.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
Genius, it would not be profitable. I think if you
if a cauldron is what I think it is the
way it's made out of, you buy one. You only
need one the rest of your life. Yeah, it would
last for ever. And if they're targeting witches, how many
witches are.
Speaker 7 (20:54):
There, they're ready to get sluded in your.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Going to be like, all right, it's got to be
less than one percent of one percent of one percent.
Speaker 5 (21:03):
So we sell seven cauldrons.
Speaker 11 (21:05):
No, Like, wouldn't it be like a special edition, like
kind of just for fun for your like Halloween party too,
people would buy a cauldron crock pot for their Halloween party?
Speaker 2 (21:14):
Have very expensive to me?
Speaker 1 (21:15):
Yeah, and how many witches already have brooms and cauldrons?
There might not be that the supply the.
Speaker 10 (21:21):
Witch is just starting, right, but like also like those people,
I feel like it's.
Speaker 11 (21:24):
The same thing as like Stanley dropping a Halloween like collection.
Speaker 12 (21:28):
I think that they should totally do that.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
I think that's a different color and everybody buy Stanley's
not everybody's buying a cauldron.
Speaker 10 (21:34):
Yeah, but by crock pot, you can't use crock pots
year round. And if that's your deck course style.
Speaker 5 (21:41):
Well they're not doing it.
Speaker 7 (21:44):
Not doing it, which is carefuble because.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
They make the topic.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
All right, so Peyton, you're getting married about a year
from now. Right around in near October twenty twenty six,
they did a big survey and they ask people, would
you be interested in a brand sponsored wedding, Yeah, you
would one hundred percent totally. Sixty percent Americans say would
consider brand sponsored wedding. But here fifty six percent would
be okay with brand inspired cocktails.
Speaker 5 (22:07):
I'm sure you would be.
Speaker 12 (22:08):
Yeah, Tito's come on or allow.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
The brand logo of reception tables on signage and on
the invites.
Speaker 12 (22:14):
I would allow it, would you, Kyle?
Speaker 17 (22:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (22:16):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (22:17):
A lot with fifty percent would allow the brand to
hand out product samples at the wedding?
Speaker 18 (22:21):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (22:21):
And also would you allow the brand's mascot to hang
out at the wedding?
Speaker 7 (22:24):
Sure?
Speaker 12 (22:25):
Why not?
Speaker 7 (22:25):
I might have to, you know, if my son was there, get.
Speaker 2 (22:29):
To allow the mascot to officiate the wedding.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
Oh that's amazing.
Speaker 11 (22:33):
I would allow my brother to officiate the wedding in
the mascot, but only if it was worth the buck.
Speaker 12 (22:39):
So any brands that want to sponsor my wedding, let
me know.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
A brand sponsored wedding. Were like, literally during this ceremony,
they brought up the alcohol that was sponsoring I think
little drink.
Speaker 11 (22:51):
Could you imagine, like, come on, Tito's come through for me,
like I need you in my life. Just imagine a
little Tito's cart going down the aisle before we say
our ideas, everyone's getting it, like.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
It's smart, perfect people online or talk about things that
people only pretend to enjoy. I thought this is great.
I wanted more of these, but I only found three
of them. Like grade school performances, yeah, other people's children, Yep,
that's networking events, Like I want.
Speaker 1 (23:20):
More networking events? Is great too, call.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Us eight seven seven nine three seven one four seven
What is something you pretend to enjoy?
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Ideas on? Does anybody have any more questions? That part
of every meeting exercise I part.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
I like the after effects of those things, but I
definitely don't like going to those elementary school plays. I
remember we should do that for my nieces. All the
other are three hours long and she.
Speaker 12 (23:46):
Was on it for a second, And like the ones
that are in the morning at like nine am.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
And if you have a kid who plays a stringed
instrument and they just started learning.
Speaker 5 (23:55):
What do you have for life? Hacked rich?
Speaker 1 (23:56):
Okay, so there's a hack to sessing out your friends
based on what they post on social media. Based on psychologists,
they say the healthiest people are your friends that hardly
post at all. They according to experts, are probably the
most balanced and are the most fun to hang out with.
The second on the list, if you're gonna pick people
who post, are people who post about delicious food. They
(24:18):
say those people are generally generous. The person that you
should stay away from if you're looking for a friend
on your social media are people that just have selfies
of them quite a bit on their social because they
say people that post a lot of just them in
selfies are the most likely to alienate their friends closest
to them, So watch out for your friend that I
(24:40):
think they post selfies.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
That works in the romantic world too, I believe I would.
I remember reading something about that too. If you go
to someone's Instagram, it's all selfies. Red flag.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
But they also say guys that have a lot of
pictures of themselves with their shirts off, they probably had
to talk one of their girlfriends that they're not seeing
very regularly into taking that picture. So watch out for
that game.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Red flag.
Speaker 1 (25:01):
Red flag.
Speaker 5 (25:02):
Oh yeah, total red flag.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
Well those hacks at John jan Rich dot com.
Speaker 5 (25:05):
All right, we're getting ready for second update. We got
Braid on the line.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Braiden, give us a little bit about what's going on
in your dating situation.
Speaker 18 (25:11):
So I went on this date with this girl. We
went bowling and even hooked up afterwards. My car, Now
I'm not really hearing from her, So maybe you guys
can help me out.
Speaker 5 (25:21):
What kind of car do you have?
Speaker 18 (25:22):
I got a Camaro?
Speaker 2 (25:23):
There you go next, kidding, kidding, just jokes, Brad, all right,
hang on, all right.
Speaker 5 (25:31):
Second Date Updates starts next with John Jaye Rich and
I know.
Speaker 12 (25:33):
She'll be the death of me, Lise.
Speaker 11 (25:37):
The next segment we're going to do is called second
Date Update because that's what we're going to try and
get and that's what the bit is called.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
Second Date Update starts right now on John Jay and Rich.
John Jay Rich, it's time for Second Date Update.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
You meet somebody either.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
On an app, at church, at a club, whatever, You
make a date. You go out on the date. Then
the person doesn't call you or respond to your text
message anymore. So you come to us, we hear your story,
like we are here with Braiden. Then we're gonna call
the person you went out with and find out why
they're blowing you off.
Speaker 5 (26:09):
Good morning, Braiden.
Speaker 18 (26:11):
Hey, good morning guys.
Speaker 5 (26:13):
What's your story? Braiden?
Speaker 18 (26:15):
Yeah, so a couple of weeks ago, I went out
with this girl, Christine, and I don't know if I
thought the date went really well. We went bowling and
we laughed and we're chatting the whole time. I had
a great time, and yeah, things kind of escalated and
we ended up by hooking up in my car for
(26:36):
a little bit. You sho didn't want to go back
to my place, was a little far, and you know,
she didn't want me to come to her, and I
guess for roommates reasons, but but yeah, I mean I
felt like we were really into each other and it
went really well. But now I'm kind of confused because
I haven't heard from her for like almost a week,
and you know, we texted a little bit, you know,
(26:57):
the day after our date, but now it's like she
totally ghosted, and I'm like, I don't know what's what's up? Like,
you know, I thought things went really well. I thought
that we were both kind of giving off the same vibe.
Speaker 10 (27:11):
Anything weird happened while you were making out in the car,
Like I don't know the awkward?
Speaker 7 (27:16):
Did you go too far? What did it defender?
Speaker 4 (27:18):
Like?
Speaker 7 (27:18):
Were you too sloppy?
Speaker 18 (27:20):
I don't think so. I mean we're both super into it,
and we were both bummed at like, you know, neither
of our places was an option that night.
Speaker 15 (27:27):
So and what was it like?
Speaker 1 (27:29):
Was it like, oh my gosh, I like this so much,
but I have roomates home, where it was like, oh,
too bad, my roommates are home, and I don't want
to go too far to your house. Was she just
trying to get out of there?
Speaker 18 (27:39):
I mean I didn't get that impression, knows, just like yeah,
like yeah, sorry, my roommates are home and it makes
me uncomfortable, like bringing a guy over when they're there,
which I get. So I don't know. No, I really
thought like we would, we would, you know, continue it
another time. But now I'm like a little freaked out.
Speaker 5 (27:58):
I wonder if maybe you gave her the ick the
way you were bowling.
Speaker 2 (28:03):
What do you picture head squatting down or he makes
some perverted comment when you put your fingers in the ball.
Speaker 21 (28:12):
So I mean, yeah, what's the fact that you know that,
Like that's you know that the day.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
That's a good point, all right, dude, Well that's enough
for us to call her.
Speaker 5 (28:25):
Say her name is Christine.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Here's how it works, you chill we're gonna get her
on the phone, okay, and then we're going to interview
her and find out why she's blowing you off, right,
all right. Second Ate update continues next with John Jaye Rich.
This John Jaye Rich. We are in the middle of
second Ate Update.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
Let's meet Braden, who started off cuffing season by taking
his holiday date to a bowling alley, the most romantic
of locations, which led to a dance of love in
the car, but was Brayden's clumsy drooling lunges all gutter balls,
(29:05):
gutter ball.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
I mean that's a good recap right there, right, Brandon.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
Yes, very complimentary when you think about it.
Speaker 5 (29:14):
All right.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
So we're gonna get Christina on the phone and find
out why she's pulling you off, all right, So you
stay quiet, okay you.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
Hello?
Speaker 11 (29:29):
Hi?
Speaker 12 (29:29):
Is this Christine?
Speaker 4 (29:32):
It is Hi.
Speaker 12 (29:33):
My name is Peyton.
Speaker 11 (29:34):
I'm with John jay and Rich and we just wanted
to talk to you on the radio really quickly if
you got time this morning.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
Okay, Christine, we got a call from a guy, So
you know, we're doing our radio show and talk about
relationships and dating and if anyone went on any fun
dates lately or they got blown off, and sure enough,
this guy calls us says he went on a date
with you. He described the date as a lot of fun,
even got into the makeout session in the car afterwards.
Speaker 5 (29:57):
Right, you follow me so far? You know who I'm
talking about.
Speaker 17 (30:02):
Yeah, yeah, I'm following you so far.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
His nickname with all of us in the studio is
Braid in the Bowler. So what's the deal with Braid
and the Bowler.
Speaker 17 (30:16):
Yeah, I just there was just a little stuff that
wound up being really it added up to kind of
bigger stuff. So I'm yeah, I was kind of done.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
Could you tell us the little stuff?
Speaker 17 (30:30):
Yeah, It's just it turned into like like little comments
and things that he did during bowling, Like, okay, so,
for instance, like I was trying to joke around about
the fact that I'm not good at it, you know,
and I was trying to make a joke about that,
and he goes, oh, well, I'm just naturally good at
this kind of thing, and it just seemed like kind
(30:54):
of egotistical. And then we go further on in the
game and like I actually do get a strike.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
Oh also, and yeah, right.
Speaker 17 (31:02):
And and he's not he's not hyping me up though
he's not. He's not being happy for me. He just goes, yeah,
you're catching on.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
Like he didn't freak out that you never bowl and
you got to strike. That's a pretty big deal, right.
Speaker 17 (31:17):
Yeah, he'd no, he was just like, yeah, you're catching on,
like like his job to like make me better at
it or I don't know. It just it came across
like he's always acting like he's he's he's better at things.
He's he has to be smarter, it has to be
a competition, and it just it honestly just kind of
(31:37):
put me in mind of my dad because he was
like that too.
Speaker 6 (31:40):
And I know you're.
Speaker 17 (31:41):
Ansay daddy issues and I understand, but like he just
kind of acted like that and and I'm projecting like
the hate that I have for my dad being like
that onto this and it was just not comfortable for
me anymore.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Hmm.
Speaker 12 (31:57):
I get that.
Speaker 5 (31:59):
Just because he's a bolder than you.
Speaker 12 (32:01):
I think it was what he was saying.
Speaker 2 (32:02):
You went from being a better bolard, which interesting when
you listen to you self diagnosed yourself with daddy.
Speaker 1 (32:07):
Issues, which is you know, introspective.
Speaker 5 (32:10):
Yeah, wow, that was really interesting.
Speaker 10 (32:12):
Well, and then that the fact that she knows that
and she can see that in him. It's like that
there is no bigger red flag, right, Okay.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
But what about the red flag that she went and
made out with him in the car?
Speaker 10 (32:21):
Yeah, afterwards to make out with sometimes people are off
and then you're done. You want to see you test
out a little bit and you're like okay.
Speaker 7 (32:32):
You know, but the deeper issues is this is going anywhere?
Speaker 19 (32:34):
Right?
Speaker 11 (32:35):
Like when she's looking at him and just wants to
hate his face, like, yeah, it's probably not a good.
Speaker 7 (32:39):
Match, like a rage makeout.
Speaker 5 (32:40):
Were you making out with him in the car at all?
And thinking about your dad?
Speaker 2 (32:44):
Gros No, I encourage everyone tonight whenever you're intimate with
this together, think about your parents hard?
Speaker 7 (32:52):
Would you encourage that you have such issues?
Speaker 5 (32:57):
Well, Christine, we actually have Braiden on the line.
Speaker 18 (33:00):
Yo, what Christine?
Speaker 5 (33:01):
See?
Speaker 18 (33:02):
Are you are you actually serious? And I like I
remind you of your dad? Like are you are you joking?
Because that's kind of insane.
Speaker 17 (33:12):
I mean what, it's okay if you do, but like
you're the one that's kind of like sorry, I'm a
little forward right now. You're the one that was like
coming at it and kind of making it a competition,
and it's it's not cute, you know what I mean,
Like it's it's it's a lot bit.
Speaker 18 (33:30):
I mean, it's got girls like confidence. I mean, like
I bowled a good game and we're like joking and
like we even hooked up. So I don't I just
don't get why, Like that's like why you ghosted.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
I mean, she's telling me pretty directly.
Speaker 18 (33:46):
Yeah, it's it's okay. Well, I guess, like confidence, minds
of your dad, Like I don't know, it's just feels
like you're projecting.
Speaker 12 (33:55):
Honestly, it's like her she did say, I am projecting.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
I mean a lot of your your manner is reminded
of her father, and.
Speaker 11 (34:03):
I guess she's And if you don't like your dad,
that's all you're seeing in him.
Speaker 2 (34:08):
I look at it as a red flag for both
of you.
Speaker 18 (34:14):
Could be well, I mean, I guess, like I don't know,
just own up to it and call it your daddy issues,
you know, instead of just like yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
But also also you need to be a little less egotistical.
It sounds like you're bowling.
Speaker 18 (34:30):
Yeah, I can't help it. I'm a pretty good bowler.
Speaker 1 (34:32):
No, I guess We're not gonna we're not gonna rat
hit that down a little bit. We're gonna keep that
right there.
Speaker 7 (34:40):
Watch his bowling talents.
Speaker 17 (34:43):
They're just like, we're gonna double down.
Speaker 18 (34:45):
Then we're not.
Speaker 15 (34:46):
We're not gonna like stand right there.
Speaker 17 (34:48):
We're just going to double down. Okay, all right, just
checking making sure.
Speaker 2 (34:52):
All right, So no, no second date for each of you.
You're out right both of you not interested.
Speaker 16 (34:56):
Kind of you?
Speaker 2 (34:57):
Yeah, okay, okay, well they keep both for going there
with us, no problem, Yes, yep, that's second date update.
John Jay Rich, John Jay Rich, there's a story that's
gotten national attention. We gotta get her on because of
(35:20):
food influencer trashed a restaurant and the restaurant's fighting back
and it's such an amazing story. And the woman that
owns the restaurant. I'm hoping, Uh, Jen, Jenn are you there?
Speaker 5 (35:32):
Hi?
Speaker 1 (35:32):
This is Jenna, Jenna.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
Hi, It's John Jay and Rich. I was dming with
you a little bit ago on Instagram.
Speaker 4 (35:37):
I listened to you every morning.
Speaker 2 (35:39):
Oh well, we're big fans. I have to tell you.
I saw the Instagram drama that's happened to you over
the weekend.
Speaker 4 (35:49):
Right it was pretty crazy.
Speaker 2 (35:51):
Yes, but I have to tell you something. The video
you made explaining yourself was fantastic, just yeah, fantastic.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
Wanted to get you on our radio show to promote
your place and tell us about your stuff and just
whatever we could do to help.
Speaker 5 (36:06):
So there's always a line around the block.
Speaker 4 (36:08):
Yeah, absolutely, I would love that.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
What's the proper name of you're saying your restaurant?
Speaker 21 (36:13):
J L.
Speaker 4 (36:14):
Patisari?
Speaker 2 (36:17):
And where are you from?
Speaker 4 (36:19):
I'm from Belgium French speaking, Oh, Belgium, Oh.
Speaker 5 (36:24):
Yeah, Payne was just Belgium not that long ago.
Speaker 4 (36:28):
Oh good. Yeah, I'm from Waterloo, so a little bit
more stuff.
Speaker 5 (36:31):
Yeah, And how long have you been in Phoenix?
Speaker 4 (36:34):
Phoenix almost eight years now?
Speaker 2 (36:36):
And how long have you had the restaurant?
Speaker 4 (36:39):
Six years?
Speaker 2 (36:40):
And how's it going?
Speaker 4 (36:42):
It's going really good. I had a small but very
strong community. I had my regulars, I had my French
little group also. It was going really good. And then
obviously all this happened, and then the support this weekend
was honestly mind blowing. People really showed up and it
(37:04):
was amazing to see.
Speaker 2 (37:07):
Yeah, I saw the video you guys posted. All the
people in line. Is that every day or is that
because of all this incredible publish It's not every.
Speaker 4 (37:14):
Day, it's because of what's happened last week. So it was.
It was incredible, and people were so patient and so positive.
It was really amazing. Everyone my team worked so hard.
It was very something special to see. I don't think
(37:36):
I ever imagined I would see this in my life,
so it was really special.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
Can you explain to us the short version of what
happened to you, just so in case people are just
listening right now trying to figure out why we're talking.
Speaker 5 (37:47):
To you and what happened.
Speaker 22 (37:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (37:49):
Absolutely. So basically, we an influence to reach out to
us and asked to do a collaboration and we respectfully
declined because we didn't really have the budget to do
anything like that at that time. And so she mentioned
that if we provided the food for free POSGA treaty,
(38:12):
she would be a little bit kinder on her review,
but otherwise she is known to be a little bit
more harsh and aggressive on her reviews, and so she
still came in the next We still decline, and she
came in the next day and basically criticized a lot
(38:33):
of the things about our business that specifically wasn't true.
So it wasn't just her opinion, which she's entitled to
that's not a problem, but it was just making claims
of my business and my operations that were not true.
And so I just did a video saying, hey, like,
I understand, you still came in despite us, you know,
(38:55):
turning down this collaboration opportunity. But what I but I
really don't like is being told certain things about my
business that are not true. And then I went on
to show the truth of my ingredients and my process
that is.
Speaker 19 (39:10):
Stashio color is about as natural as my boots, ass
and waistline.
Speaker 16 (39:14):
The baker showed her imported pistachio paste straight from.
Speaker 22 (39:16):
Italy, Pistasia paste that is one hundred percent pistaschios.
Speaker 16 (39:19):
From it Tilly, and then she continues to make other claims.
Speaker 22 (39:22):
Five dollars for a canali, that's the price next to
the Phoenix airport.
Speaker 7 (39:25):
This is or Planet owned flowers straight from Pasiliit. It's
putting it tally in Italian.
Speaker 12 (39:29):
Not bad for close to the airport bakery.
Speaker 22 (39:32):
You cannot use fake as ingredients, okay.
Speaker 12 (39:34):
All of our flowers that we use in our product.
The selling dobla at all comes on the pallette from.
Speaker 16 (39:39):
Your So seventeen thousand comments later, the Internet sided hard
with the bakery. It's a perfect case study. One reputation
tried to leverage influence, the other stood firm with transparency.
The Internet rewarded the one that kept receipts and stayed authentic.
Speaker 4 (39:52):
I'm very, very proud of my team. That's that's one
of my biggest accomplishment in my bakery is having found
the people that work with me, and we're all work
really hard, and I don't like to support people condescending
of you know, the food industry workers and that kind
of stuff, and so I kind of really wanted to
stand up against that and just make a message that
(40:14):
you need to be kind and you need to be
careful of what influencing really entails. And so that was
kind of what we wanted to focus on and kind
of blew up.
Speaker 7 (40:25):
So brava for standing up to that, Like I can't like.
Speaker 10 (40:28):
It makes me think there's probably a lot of bully
influencers out there. I really do this kind of thing,
and businesses, I mean, especially a small business like yourself,
sometimes can't afford bad press or whatever. I probably don't
have you know the guts to stand up like you did.
So an amazing job. Thank you so much for standing up,
because I know it's like it's not even like you're
just standing for yourself, You're standing up for all the
other small businesses that have.
Speaker 7 (40:48):
Gone through this before.
Speaker 12 (40:49):
That's awesome.
Speaker 11 (40:50):
Has she has she reached out and apologized because I'm
assuming she's gotten a ton of backlash.
Speaker 4 (40:57):
Yes, So, originally we didn't tag her, we didn't mention her.
We had the screenshot, but we cropped her name. We
never meant to have hate directed towards her as an individual.
We wanted to focus on the bigger message and I
wanted to really support the working like food industry workers
(41:20):
and people that work really hard and promote that it's
honorable to do what we do when it shouldn't be diminished.
But she went on and commented heavily on that post,
so people found out who she was. She did, and
so it kind of backlashed a little bit crazier than
it could have been for her. And that's unfortunate because
(41:43):
that really wasn't what we were trying to do. Yeah,
so she ended up doing a second video originally that
also blew up because she said that she needed to
bring out that pistachio paste and reading medis that were
on there because she still didn't believe it. And then
(42:08):
she said that she didn't get free drinks, she got
free espressos and this and that. So it's it's just
like constantly and people kind of kept standing up to her.
It didn't have the response that she thought I was
going to generate for her to do that, and so
it kind of blew up even more. So then we
(42:29):
did grab the pistachio paste and read all the ingredients.
Speaker 2 (42:33):
You're awesome.
Speaker 1 (42:36):
And and people are lining up. Further, that means the
food's good. If people are lining up, that means your
your your stuff is great. What do you recommend when
we come there for the first time? What should we try?
That as delicious?
Speaker 4 (42:48):
Everything is delicious, But obviously your question is one of
the yeah, special items. And also we do different questions
every day every weekend. We have a special every weekend,
so we have a lot of fun, you know, crafting
things that are a bit unique and that gets to
highlight different flavor profile. But everything from more cake to
(43:08):
our croissant to our bread. We we just you can
tell my team puts a lot of love in what
they do and it's everything is really good. You can't
go wrong.
Speaker 2 (43:18):
The baker is called j L Patisserie on the website.
Looks like your baking classes are back. So you're teaching.
Speaker 4 (43:24):
I am teaching. Yes, I love to teach. So we
do a lot of sourdough teaching, but also and Thanksgiving pies,
all of that stuff.
Speaker 5 (43:34):
And how many locations do you have?
Speaker 4 (43:36):
We have three locations, one in Scottsdale, one on Central
and Camelbacks the Central Phoenix, and one right next to
the airport.
Speaker 2 (43:43):
That's fantastic. Congratulations. Would you be down if we would
like to bring her here and we throw tomatoes at her?
Speaker 5 (43:52):
But I did.
Speaker 4 (43:55):
Just the support, the support from the community is huge
and also voice for the other businesses, and this kind
of behavior was the message. And we let her continue
on peacefully as peacefully as as we hope for her.
And we're just going to keep focusing on the good.
And it just reiterated that we were doing the right
(44:17):
thing by spending so much money on the true ingredients
and the true process, and it just pushes us further
to keep doing that. And that's very warning because it
gets so hard, especially you know recently with the tariffs
and everything, to continue to source those kind of ingredients.
And every day I question, like, am I really going
(44:39):
to spend this much on butter? And the answer is yes.
But now that we have the support of people saying
crudos to you for doing that, then it makes us
want to do that even more so.
Speaker 1 (44:48):
I believe French butter is delicious.
Speaker 4 (44:51):
It is very good.
Speaker 15 (44:53):
It is.
Speaker 8 (44:53):
Yes.
Speaker 5 (44:54):
Well, thank you for coming on our radio show.
Speaker 4 (44:56):
Thank you very much, thank you for reaching out. And
like I said, I'm a huge fan to you. Every
day sot thakkind of funny to be on there.
Speaker 2 (45:03):
So great. All right, we'll have a great day and
we support you. Yeah, God bless you.
Speaker 1 (45:07):
Thank you so much by my.
Speaker 12 (45:10):
Best friend.
Speaker 2 (45:13):
John Jay and Rich whoa whoa whoa? Who's dropping stuff
in here? A professional radio show?
Speaker 15 (45:19):
Is that what we are?
Speaker 7 (45:20):
Professional?
Speaker 22 (45:21):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (45:21):
You can text us, You text jg R. Whatever's on
your mind. In ninety six, eight ninety three, what's up.
Speaker 15 (45:26):
Brian, good morning, Good morning, professional radio crew?
Speaker 2 (45:31):
Right, are you in a box?
Speaker 15 (45:33):
I'm not? You know, you pid it every time I
call you, but I'm actually calling you from sleeping bag
set up that I have at home in a podcast
from Oh.
Speaker 1 (45:44):
So you're speaking into a microphone which is.
Speaker 2 (45:46):
Coming on a phone line. What's your podcast?
Speaker 15 (45:49):
I have not started one yet, all right, but you
got all to do it here.
Speaker 1 (45:54):
You sound like all my friends.
Speaker 2 (45:57):
I have all the podcast stuff in my kitchen. You
never opened the box, bay way? What's up? What can
you do for you?
Speaker 1 (46:03):
The question I had for you? I know you did
the civic duty phone call?
Speaker 15 (46:07):
Did you my chance to get an email the day
before with like fifty five fifty six questions?
Speaker 2 (46:12):
You're talking about when I had jury duty and I
did everything I was supposed to do to get to
jury duty and do my civic duty right, and then
it turned out they didn't need me right, so you
want so, So what you're assuming is if I got
the same letter you got or email that you got,
then there's a chance that you don't have to do
(46:33):
jury duty.
Speaker 5 (46:33):
But guess what, I never got that email.
Speaker 2 (46:35):
I think you're in our right, Oh, Brian, Like, what
does that ask you?
Speaker 15 (46:42):
Oh goodness? It was asking me how I felt about
certain laws? Could I be by or could I be persuaded?
Speaker 1 (46:49):
Either way?
Speaker 15 (46:50):
If so, if somebody took the stand, yeah, it was
super in depth.
Speaker 12 (46:54):
Oh yeah, they're trying to weed you out.
Speaker 15 (46:57):
Oh, I answered it. I don't think they're going to
do I don't think they're going to take me. But
I'll call this phone number and see if my group
numbers in it.
Speaker 5 (47:04):
I think they're going to take you.
Speaker 7 (47:05):
I'm invested.
Speaker 2 (47:06):
You're from way further along than I was, so I
think you're in. But let us know, Bran, and let's
know when you start the podcast.
Speaker 1 (47:12):
Okay, I will, I will do that, all right.
Speaker 2 (47:15):
I have a great day. Morning, good morning.
Speaker 1 (47:19):
Yeah, that's weird that they ask you if you could
be persuaded. I mean, isn't that what happens in courts.
You're persuaded to think they're innocent or guilty.
Speaker 7 (47:25):
Well, or maybe they want to know.
Speaker 10 (47:27):
If you can be persuaded, then you could be a
good juror. But if you can't, and you're going to
feel that same way about that, maybe they'll toss you out.
Or if the prosecution is picking you and you would
go their way, they'll.
Speaker 12 (47:37):
Try to pick you.
Speaker 1 (47:39):
That's pretty cool. I never know.
Speaker 5 (47:40):
I have a great day, dog. How about this rain?
Speaker 2 (47:43):
I'm looking outside right now and it's like this beautiful
beautiful morning and yesterday the rain. What was it like
three and a half minutes of chaos. There's not my backyard.
Speaker 7 (47:53):
There is a tree down in the park.
Speaker 1 (47:55):
There's many down if you if you drive around window.
Speaker 12 (47:57):
They called it a microburst.
Speaker 5 (47:59):
It was crazy.
Speaker 11 (48:00):
It was like, I think this may have been like dramatic,
but I saw something that was like eighty miles per
hour when yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:06):
It feels it feels right. I was in traffic in
Tempee where the microburst hit and I could not even
see past my windshield. So I pulled over in the
first like little turnoff I could find in some industrial
building and I almost got hit by a Waimo doing
the same thing. And I thought, well, that's weird. I
wonder if anybody's been hit by a waimo and how
(48:27):
do I get its insurance because there's nobody driving. And
then I thought, I wonder why the weimo pulled over
because it's not really using cameras to see the road,
is it isn't I thought it was just programmed to
know where the grid is.
Speaker 7 (48:40):
Cameras everywhere.
Speaker 12 (48:41):
How I wouldn't know if there was cars in front
of it.
Speaker 1 (48:43):
Well, I figured they have sensors I don't know if
there are cameras. I feel that sensors that know where
the road is. But I thought, well, that would be
weird if I got hit by a weaimo, that would
be a that would be I don't know, just wait
outside and be like, well, here's my insurance, where's your card?
Speaker 5 (48:56):
It probably pulls over.
Speaker 2 (48:57):
So I was preparing for this store from college, you know,
because I sent you pictures of what we were trying
to do a week ago.
Speaker 5 (49:03):
I knew this storm was coming.
Speaker 2 (49:04):
I've had a history of flooding in the backyard because
the horrible, horrible pool company that I should sue by
the way, ruined my backyard and I've spent a lot
of money trying to refix it, and it has been fixed,
but in the case of some massive storm like now,
it coulds still leak into my house. So I was
getting prepared for it, and my friend Ryan came over
(49:25):
and he put this pump in my house that automatically
if if water hits at a certain level, it starts
pumping out water right away outside of the outside of
the flood area. And I was all excited for it
to you know, and I was even he was texting me, hey,
has it started working yet? I go, I don't know.
The rains come, so now the rain's coming hard, really hard.
And then the power goes off of my house, which
(49:46):
the pump works if there's power, right, So now it's
not working, and the water's coming up and it's coming up,
and it's just like it was just just like I
felt like when the people's houses burned down. It's like
you're just sitting there waiting for your house to get destroyed,
and the water keeps coming up and coming up and
coming up closer and closer to our living room, and
it's going to come.
Speaker 5 (50:04):
Through the doors.
Speaker 2 (50:05):
And then it just stopped. And then the power turned
on and the pumps start sucking the water out. But
it was just like taking us to the edge.
Speaker 11 (50:12):
Oh my goodness, on your toes. That's scary, I said,
probably really add you on your toes?
Speaker 2 (50:17):
It did.
Speaker 11 (50:17):
I feel like it's so crazy because I don't feel
like the storm hit where I'm at that bad. It
rained a little bit, but I was like when I
was looking on Instagram and TikTok and online, I'm like,
it literally looked like a hurricane.
Speaker 7 (50:31):
Oh yeah, like a couple of my friends.
Speaker 10 (50:33):
They all live in the same neighborhood right in the
center of the microburst, and their cinder block walls were
blown down.
Speaker 12 (50:40):
Yeah, we didn't even have any flooding. In the rain
that we've had.
Speaker 11 (50:42):
Over the last couple of weeks has caused our backyard
to flood, but this microburst didn't even touch us.
Speaker 12 (50:47):
It seems like, yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 7 (50:48):
I was like, I was like, hey, the three little pigs.
Speaker 10 (50:52):
The wind's not supposed to be able to blow down
the bricks, right, Bricks blowed down everywhere.
Speaker 1 (50:57):
Pretty intense. I've never seen anything like that inside of
a car, and there was Once I got on the highway,
it was still going crazy. There was like white caps
of water rolling down the highway.
Speaker 5 (51:07):
To git people post is crazy.
Speaker 2 (51:08):
My backyard. I get my backyard and I'm filming it
with my son Jake and my wife. You can hear
in the background, get inside, Get inside, Get inside.
Speaker 5 (51:17):
I want to be like complete your root in my video.
Speaker 2 (51:20):
Inside. I would have to get inside.
Speaker 5 (51:23):
I'm under a thing I'm filming.
Speaker 2 (51:25):
We're okay, get inside.
Speaker 10 (51:27):
It's funny because it was it was pretty great weather
before that, like Peene and I had gone and We
actually got a preview of the new Wayfair outlet. Keep
watching on our John Jay and Rich Instagram today we'll
give you the preview of our preview. But we went
in and then after that, I went into one of
the other stores over there, and it was sunshine when
I walked in, and when I came out, it was
like pouring rain, and I'm like, you know, what are.
Speaker 7 (51:48):
The chances I literally have an umbrella in my car.
Speaker 11 (51:55):
It was such a beautiful day and it didn't rain
until I got home. I was like, I walked in
the door and then started rating.
Speaker 10 (52:01):
It was like pouring, and I like me, I'm kind
of dramatic because it was it was pouring like it
was a lot of ringing in a little bit. And
then I look at everybody's social media and I'm like,
it wasn't that bad where I was, But I saw
this thing.
Speaker 2 (52:13):
In fact, I was gonna ask you about it, but
I don't think it's existed yet. But Elon Musk posted
last week that Tesla's now are going to be able
to you go to the grocery store, get out of
your car, It'll drop you off your own car, and
then you go shopping and it goes finds the parking
space for you, and then when you're paying, you to
hit a button and it'll come get you.
Speaker 12 (52:31):
That just seems so lazy to me, so crazy.
Speaker 2 (52:33):
That would all work perfect in the rain situation.
Speaker 7 (52:35):
I wish I had to actually write.
Speaker 10 (52:38):
They just had a software update, and I thought this
was in so interesting. Literally this morning, I took a
picture of it because I'm like, oh, sorry, what is
this some kind of like weird thing. Okay, So when
they do a software update, some of the controls on
the car change, because it's like an iPad, right, and
then it gives you anough date on what it just changed, and.
Speaker 7 (52:55):
It literally says.
Speaker 10 (52:58):
That your left scroll wheel include new options for quickly
accessing various vehicle controls such as bioweapon defense mode.
Speaker 2 (53:07):
What was right?
Speaker 22 (53:08):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (53:10):
What? I?
Speaker 7 (53:11):
At first of all, I didn't even know I have bioweapons.
Speaker 10 (53:14):
Now I can access it very easily apparently with my
left toggle button.
Speaker 7 (53:17):
But I'm like, should I be worried about this at all?
In any way? I have no idea. That's why I
took a picture of it.
Speaker 10 (53:24):
I was like, this is odd, it's odd, but you guys,
if bioweapons are deployed apparently.
Speaker 2 (53:31):
See let's test it out. Let's go spray raid on
your car and see what happens. And also big wall
comes up. Jada, Good morning, Jada, Jada. I was into
chill with Jada.
Speaker 5 (53:47):
What's up?
Speaker 13 (53:48):
Hello?
Speaker 5 (53:50):
Oh my god?
Speaker 2 (53:50):
Yes, hello, hello, you called us? What's up?
Speaker 6 (53:58):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (53:59):
I was just listened to your little Weimo story and
it reminded me of I was in a weimo one
time and I was it was we were behind Uh
oh my gosh, hold on, no, I was in my
car and that my car was behind a way moo.
Speaker 6 (54:14):
So I was behind a Weyman, not in a Weymo.
Speaker 17 (54:16):
So sorry.
Speaker 3 (54:17):
Anyways, Uh, we were behind or we were out of
red light and then it turned green and then I'm
like trying.
Speaker 13 (54:24):
To go, but it wasn't. The Waimo wasn't going, so
I'm like, what do I do?
Speaker 3 (54:27):
Like honked at the weymo. So it just reminded me
of that, because what do you do?
Speaker 19 (54:33):
What do you do?
Speaker 3 (54:33):
Wimo didn't do anything.
Speaker 6 (54:34):
About my honk?
Speaker 3 (54:35):
Did it ended up going?
Speaker 2 (54:39):
But I was like, I don't know if it.
Speaker 15 (54:41):
Hears me or that's what I was thinking.
Speaker 1 (54:43):
The Weimo was coming right for me in the parking lot,
and I'm watching it almost like it's in slow motion.
I'm like, surely this thing's got censors where it's gonna stop,
like it would hit a building or something. But then
it was raining so hard that you could barely see
anything out any of the windows. So anyway, I didn't
get hit.
Speaker 5 (55:00):
Ye, Well, thanks for calling Jada.
Speaker 2 (55:04):
For it.
Speaker 5 (55:04):
Sounds you get to be more patient at a red light.
You're one of those people when it turns green, you
honk right away.
Speaker 1 (55:12):
That's when you activate your bioweapon.
Speaker 2 (55:14):
It was a way a mother slow, but they're really
not slow. We're just impatient. You just gotta let the
light turn green and then go all right, Thanks for listening.
Speaker 11 (55:22):
All right, Kyle, your your bioweapon defense mode is a
state of the art air air filtration system.
Speaker 1 (55:29):
So somebody gases in your car, that's a bioweapon basically.
Speaker 11 (55:32):
So it turns out all the fumes smokes, allergens, airborne pathogens.
Speaker 2 (55:38):
We got a text here, a text six two number
says I listened to the j L. PATISSERII talking about
influencer drama. I must say, huge misopportunity for Jenna to
say Lacroix for us the right way waymos actually use
lidar for object detection. I don't know if that's a typo.
Speaker 1 (56:01):
Oh, that's no light ours like a That's what they
do to find things like that you can't see, like underground,
and that's.
Speaker 2 (56:07):
What's the spinning thing on top is with lidar and
distance sensor lower on the car bumpers.
Speaker 5 (56:12):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (56:12):
I'm a big fan of Weymo. By the way, I
am too, so I.
Speaker 10 (56:15):
Just put it into chatchypt to see, like, what do
you do if a waymo car hits you? And it
says the same laws applies any other car accident. Waymo's
system automatically logs everything so it can determine who was
at fault and then a waym rep will contact you.
It has like an emergency response claimed they get way
most instantly.
Speaker 5 (56:32):
Drunk driving.
Speaker 2 (56:34):
Okay, we got Party in the Park tickets today MGK tickets.

Speaker 2 (57:34):
The other day, we were talking to somebody on the
air and he told us how they saw a woman
drop her keys in the Walmart parking lot and he
would up to her to give her the keys, and
she took off running. She was scared of him, so
he was chasing after her. I got your keys, I
got your keys. So we just thought it'd be phoned
me threw it out there on Facebook. We're like, you know,
what's the craziest thing you've ever seen in a parking lot?
Speaker 4 (57:53):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (57:53):
Leila or Lilia.
Speaker 17 (57:55):
What's your name, It's it's Lilia, Lily.
Speaker 2 (58:00):
Hi, good morning. So what'd you see the Barjia?
Speaker 22 (58:03):
Well, I was driving home from dropping my daughter off
at a friend's house over in the Maryvale area, and
I saw somebody like out of the corner of my eye,
just somebody drop, and I heard a gunshot at the
same time, and so it was two people that had
(58:23):
shot another person. So I called nine one one was
on the phone with them, telling them which way they were,
and they were walking. They weren't driving or running, they
were just walking like it was just a normal day,
telling them what I told the person on nine one one,
what they were wearing. When I turned on to sixty seventh,
(58:46):
they were gone. And I watched too many CSI's and
all those kinds of shows, so I just ducked into
the first street off sixty seventh and saw them walking down.
Was on the phone still with nine on one, and
because I was following them, the cops knew exactly where
to find them. One of the guys threw their gun
(59:10):
underneath a bush and I sat there and cops came
and arrested them. And luckily, what I found out was
the person that was shot was okay. He was shot
three times, but he was.
Speaker 3 (59:22):
Alert and awake.
Speaker 8 (59:24):
On the way the hospitals.
Speaker 22 (59:25):
What the detective told me and they were They told
me they would have me come in if it went
to trial, but I guess it never did because they.
Speaker 17 (59:32):
Never called me.
Speaker 2 (59:33):
Well, if you would have told us that whole story
and then said guess what part of town that was in,
I would have said, Mary Valet.
Speaker 22 (59:44):
And I feared they didn't call me because in all
those shopping center, pipe and all those there's always cameras,
so I'm sure they didn't need but it was certainly
a situation. My husband wasn't very happy at me for following.
Speaker 1 (59:57):
Dangerous and obviously they got above shooting anybody so that
you could have been in the crosshairs.
Speaker 22 (01:00:03):
I might have been, but I just figured, you know what,
they might not find them, and what if this person dies.
Speaker 13 (01:00:10):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:00:11):
I just I had to follow.
Speaker 2 (01:00:12):
You should have grabbed the gun.
Speaker 22 (01:00:14):
Who I was.
Speaker 2 (01:00:14):
You should have grabbed the gun out of the bush,
out of the bush, and then you hand at the top,
here's the weapon. Just doing my job, doing my duty
as a public sement. You ruined the whole thing so
as had.
Speaker 22 (01:00:27):
Just gotten there, those people that lived in that house
pulled up and they had little kids.
Speaker 1 (01:00:33):
So keeping your neighborhood says though.
Speaker 22 (01:00:37):
Well, I don't live over there, but I'm glad I
helped somebody.
Speaker 2 (01:00:40):
Yeah, well, thank you for sharing that story with it.
That's definitely something very strange seeing a parking lot.
Speaker 5 (01:00:44):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:00:45):
It certainly was, Larissa, good morning. What did you see
in a parking lot that was strange?
Speaker 14 (01:00:52):
So good morning?
Speaker 17 (01:00:53):
First of all.
Speaker 14 (01:00:55):
So I'm sure I gave a whole bunch of people
a great show. I thought I was a new mom
and I was trying to do the right thing and
teach my son, like if somebody grabs you, like, you
need to scream, you need to draw attention to yourself.
Speaker 4 (01:01:10):
This is not my mom, this is not my dad.
Speaker 6 (01:01:13):
And so a couple of weeks go by and.
Speaker 14 (01:01:15):
We haven't really talked about it, and he's little when
we go to the park and I'm like, okay, buddy,
like it's time for us to go, Like let's go,
and he's good and he's complyant. He's coming with me.
Of course he's mine. And I go to put him
in his car seat and he's like I'm not doing this.
So I pick him up and he starts screaming, this is.
Speaker 12 (01:01:36):
Not my mom.
Speaker 4 (01:01:38):
Help me, this is not my mom.
Speaker 14 (01:01:46):
He's flailing and I'm like, I put I put my
hand over his mouth and I am like duffing him
into his car seat, screaming, and I was like, oh
my gosh, somebody is gonna call the police.
Speaker 17 (01:01:58):
I promise I have pictures. I don't know if that helps.
Speaker 15 (01:02:03):
I don't know if that makes it.
Speaker 5 (01:02:06):
See section, look at my scar.
Speaker 1 (01:02:09):
This is my kid, right, I almost give him away
at that point.
Speaker 2 (01:02:14):
How old is he now?
Speaker 8 (01:02:15):
So he is?
Speaker 17 (01:02:17):
He will be eight in a couple of weeks.
Speaker 2 (01:02:20):
That is a fantastic story, and the story that you
have to tell the rest of his life.
Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
And you just the beginning of you having your hands
full for the rest of your life.
Speaker 14 (01:02:29):
Oh yeah, he's been nothing but trouble since.
Speaker 1 (01:02:32):
Yeah, at least he learned.
Speaker 2 (01:02:35):
Thanks for calling him the rest of Thanks for sharing
that story with us.
Speaker 1 (01:02:38):
Thank you, Bye bye, Text J j R.
Speaker 2 (01:02:41):
Whatever you want to say to nine six eight nine three.
We are going to play mint to win a little bit.
First we said I had to share, Hey, share, Hello,
what's happening?
Speaker 8 (01:02:49):
I have I have a great story for you about
the dog poop bad incident that I had. I was
walking my dog a little while back and she decided
that she had to.
Speaker 23 (01:03:02):
Go poop, and I looked down to see if I
had any bags. I have one of those dog holder
bags on the leash.
Speaker 8 (01:03:11):
And I didn't have any, so I started the panic.
Speaker 23 (01:03:14):
I'm like, oh my god, she's going to go poop.
I don't have any bags. I just moved into this
neighborhood a few months ago, and so she poops and
I'm like, oh my god, what am I going to do?
So I remembered about two houses down there's an empty lot,
and I've seen this Dunkin Donuts cup that's been sitting
there for probably a week or so, and I every
(01:03:34):
day I walked by it, I thought, I'm going to
pick up this cup and throw it away. Well, thank
god that cup was still there, because I ran and
got the cups and put the poop in the cup,
and Dunkin Donuts.
Speaker 8 (01:03:44):
Saved the day for me that day.
Speaker 1 (01:03:45):
So America runs on Duncan.
Speaker 4 (01:03:50):
Exactly.
Speaker 15 (01:03:52):
So that was my poop story.
Speaker 2 (01:03:53):
See, there is that like when you're walking your dog.
I was telling that story a couple of days ago.
When you're walking your dog and they have to poop
and you realize you're prepared. It's terrible. It is terrible.
Speaker 23 (01:04:02):
It's horrible, especially since I'm a new neighbor.
Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
You know, I've done this thing before where you pretend
to pick it up because you don't have anything.
Speaker 8 (01:04:12):
Oh, my husband does that. I take her for a walk.
I said, did you pick it up?
Speaker 23 (01:04:17):
He goes, no, that's gross. I said, you just left
it there. So then I got to go find it
wherever she poop and pick it up, like.
Speaker 5 (01:04:24):
My wife will go back and try to find it.
Speaker 2 (01:04:26):
I pretend, I pretend, But then when I do have
the dog poop bag with me and the dog's poop
I carry with me, I don't throw it away. I
care with me for the longest time while I'm walking
the dog. So in case neighbors do see me, they'll
see that I do pick up dog poop. So if
there ever a time where I don't pick up the
dog poop, they'll be like, oh, he probably just did,
or something like that.
Speaker 5 (01:04:43):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 8 (01:04:45):
Yeah, can I just say something?
Speaker 4 (01:04:47):
You guys are real quick.
Speaker 8 (01:04:47):
I have been like dying to talk to you for
the longest time.
Speaker 4 (01:04:51):
I love you so much.
Speaker 23 (01:04:52):
You cracked me up. It's the best morning show.
Speaker 8 (01:04:54):
I've ever heard in my life. Dante, you are hilarious
and and Rich is so funny.
Speaker 23 (01:05:02):
But I honestly think he has been even funnier since
he's been Stacey. I don't know, but.
Speaker 1 (01:05:10):
I think that does make you funnier because you're not
worried about stuff, you know. And she is hilarious too.
Speaker 23 (01:05:15):
Kyle, Kyle, you're so beautiful and you are the funniest
woman I've ever heard that the accents and stuff that
you do, you're just so funny. And Peyton, you're beautiful and.
Speaker 8 (01:05:25):
I love you, and you've been a great addition to
the show. And I'm Sagittarius. We would get to get
along great.
Speaker 12 (01:05:31):
Yeah, we're both a little crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:05:33):
What a nice compliments. Share.
Speaker 5 (01:05:37):
That's you. Let me say what for one week you
don't have to pick up dog poop?
Speaker 2 (01:05:40):
One week? One week? No poop for you?
Speaker 8 (01:05:42):
Why can't send my husband to do it?
Speaker 11 (01:05:44):
So well?
Speaker 5 (01:05:45):
Thanks for the kind word Share, thank you for listening.
Speaker 4 (01:05:48):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 8 (01:05:49):
I love you guys.
Speaker 5 (01:05:50):
That's so nice.
Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
It Susie, Susie, Hi Susie.
Speaker 13 (01:05:59):
Hello.
Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
Hello, So Pat Hickey gave us one thousand bucks. All right,
we'll be trying to give it away. So you got
a minute to win it.
Speaker 1 (01:06:07):
Sixty seconds on the clock to win Panicky from Peoria forwards.
One thousand dollars starts right now. Name a sign of
the zodiac. When you hear leads of three, let it
be what plant are we talking about?
Speaker 22 (01:06:22):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (01:06:22):
Can you repeat it?
Speaker 1 (01:06:23):
When you hear leaves of three, let it be what
plant are we talking about?
Speaker 6 (01:06:30):
Oh gosh, I don't even know already.
Speaker 13 (01:06:32):
I'll just throw out ivy?
Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
What kind of ivy?
Speaker 22 (01:06:37):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:06:39):
Yeah, there we go. Who was Batman's sidekick? Probably what
popstar sings toxic? Name a movie with a great sequel,
Any movie with a great sequel, God John. Name any
country in Europe.
Speaker 12 (01:07:00):
Italy.
Speaker 1 (01:07:01):
Name any city that is part of the Phoenix area. There, well,
name any team currently in the MLB playoffs. That's baseball
a popular tourist destination.
Speaker 7 (01:07:15):
You're oh, that's two times now, running out of.
Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
Time, running out of time?
Speaker 17 (01:07:21):
You got eight?
Speaker 12 (01:07:22):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:07:22):
Eight?
Speaker 19 (01:07:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 12 (01:07:24):
Oh my goodness, that's the record.
Speaker 2 (01:07:25):
Right, Yeah, she actually got one wrong earlier. Were you
guys got a slide? She said, Bernice spears.
Speaker 1 (01:07:35):
She's her talented sister. Her version of toxic is haunting.
I thought somebody was gonna get it today.
Speaker 12 (01:07:43):
I know if she wouldn't have asked you to repeat
birds that I know.
Speaker 5 (01:07:48):
I've never heard that before me either.
Speaker 12 (01:07:49):
You haven't, I said a Clover, I'm like married Clover.
Speaker 2 (01:07:52):
I thought, I thought Clover too, and then I thought
why leave it alone? So that I was guessing poison
ivy right, Susie, thanks for playing all right?
Speaker 14 (01:08:00):
Well, thank you, guys.
Speaker 1 (01:08:03):
I thought she was rich.
Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
She's complimenting us. She's go ahead, SUSI, you're talking about
how funny we are and I wonderful.
Speaker 3 (01:08:09):
Well, like like the Last Color, I'm thirty six years
older than I've been listening since I was in middle school.
Speaker 6 (01:08:18):
I'm a huge fan and playing this game it.
Speaker 7 (01:08:20):
Is so fun.
Speaker 2 (01:08:21):
You got it?
Speaker 5 (01:08:22):
Thank you, Susie.
Speaker 1 (01:08:23):
Thanks great.
Speaker 5 (01:08:24):
It's so nice of her. So I don't know. Let
me tell what happened this morning, you guys.
Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
So I have this meeting today at eleven, and I
forgot about the meeting until last night, so I had
to rearrange stuff, and I have I work out with
my trainer, and if I canceled in twenty four hours.
They charged you, so I couldn't cancel. So I messaged him.
So he goes, why did I get you at four am?
I'm like, okay, that was today. So this morning I
(01:08:50):
got up way earlier than normal, did my normal routine, right,
I did my I did my pushups, I did my
cold plunge, my hot tub, I did everything.
Speaker 5 (01:08:59):
Then I met him at the him at four a m. Yeah,
and uh it was really stupid.
Speaker 7 (01:09:07):
That was very nice of him to rearrange his schedules.
Speaker 2 (01:09:10):
I don't think he thought I was gonna say yes, right.
So I had everything planned out, my workout, everything, my
clothes with me, to shower, everything, absolutely perfect workout, to
get here in time, to be here to do my
prep before the show starts, right, I mean every single detail.
Nobody was in the gym, nobody. There is a nurse
named Sarah that works there. She's kind of like a
(01:09:32):
manager slash nurse. She runs everything right. She comes walking
in four thirty and Chris, my trainer, goes, huh, she's
normally not here this early. I'm like, oh. When she
comes and goes, hey jo Ja, go hey Sarah, And
now my plan is there's there's three bathrooms there. One
bathroom has the shower, one bathroom and I also have
(01:09:54):
to go to the bathroom. And my plan is to shower,
get dressed, and hall ass here to work. My work
out is now over. And Sarah goes into the bathroom
with the shower with the shower.
Speaker 19 (01:10:05):
No.
Speaker 2 (01:10:06):
And I walk over and I go to the door
and the door's locked, and I'm like, no, Sarah, And
I'm like, I do understand. I have like every second
plan to get to work on time. And I shake
it Sarah, which I'm sure panicked her.
Speaker 4 (01:10:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:10:22):
So then I had to go to another bathroom, which
is a small bathroom, and I had to forego the shower.
I had to sit on the floor. I get dressed
on the floor and get and then and then I'm
walking out and then Sarah I see her and she's like, hey,
do you have an appointment on the twitter? I go,
I don't have I gotta go. I gotta gotta go.
So I made it here in time, But what are
the chances? Oh, I did go to that bathroom because
(01:10:42):
there's under armyodorant there, So I had to go use
the under armedyodorant and the under Armedyoda was already sprayed.
Speaker 5 (01:10:47):
All over the room. Do you know what I'm saying?
Speaker 7 (01:10:49):
Okay, So Sarah was like, Sarah was busy, and.
Speaker 2 (01:10:54):
I'm like, Sarah, like, I want to be like, if
you're gonna go number two and you know there's someone there,
use one of the smaller bathrooms, you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (01:11:04):
She probably didn't. She didn't account for your schedule. Now
here's the problem though for you is we're having a
pretty good show today. It's pretty good. It's pretty good.
You're gonna work out every morning? At four a m.
Speaker 7 (01:11:14):
I was thinking the same thing, right. I was like,
Oh no, it's gonna be his new routine. You've already
added ten million things to your morning routine. Why not
add a workout in the show?
Speaker 2 (01:11:24):
Well, it was plain that I thought. I thought, Well,
then I've done. I don't have to be this mean
till eleven. I'm like, well, there gives some time for
Colin I to do a foot photo shoot.
Speaker 11 (01:11:35):
If you do start working out though, every morning, like,
reserve the shower, because we can't have you like stinking
up the studio.
Speaker 2 (01:11:41):
I know, I don't believe me. I'm bummed.
Speaker 7 (01:11:44):
Do you feel gross right now though, way.
Speaker 2 (01:11:45):
I don't. I don't feel because I also showered and
cold plunge before I went to work out. But then
I decided I had like this crazy day today, so
I started making clips of like I want to make
those videos, like what do they say?
Speaker 5 (01:11:56):
Follow me on my day? What do they do?
Speaker 12 (01:11:57):
I like, day in the life, day in the life.
Speaker 2 (01:12:00):
Yes, I've been filming everything because today I got this,
I got this meeting, I got I got a I'm
an asauna that I got to uh, I got a
podcast on taping, and then I'm going to the Sun's
Laker game.
Speaker 5 (01:12:11):
So I thought that'd be kind of a cool ending.
Speaker 12 (01:12:13):
Yeah, yeah, totally see how I am?
Speaker 2 (01:12:16):
Kyle Pey. What do you guys got for entertaiment news?
Speaker 10 (01:12:18):
So The Rock, Jack Black, and Kevin Hart are re
uniting for a new Jumanji movie. They're gonna start filming
it next month in LA It'll come out December eleventh
of next year, which I think is a.
Speaker 7 (01:12:28):
Pretty quick turnaround for Hollywood.
Speaker 10 (01:12:29):
Meanwhile, The Rock was on the New Heights podcast with
Jason and Travis Kelsey, and The Rock was opening up
about the joys of parenthood and they're.
Speaker 7 (01:12:37):
Kind of a little bit, you know, putting the pressure
on Travis.
Speaker 2 (01:12:40):
My babies just like you Jason, and like one day
you'll know Trav babies are everything. That's it.
Speaker 15 (01:12:45):
It is.
Speaker 2 (01:12:48):
The moment the first one pops out, It's like, okay,
my entire hierarchy of priorities.
Speaker 5 (01:12:53):
Is completely shifted.
Speaker 2 (01:12:54):
Just like seriously, it's crazy.
Speaker 5 (01:12:56):
You'll see Trip, You're serious.
Speaker 2 (01:12:59):
Onto you and.
Speaker 10 (01:13:02):
The pressure for babies, it's happening already. They haven't even died,
and not just yet.
Speaker 7 (01:13:07):
You probably saw this. It was kind of all over
social media.
Speaker 10 (01:13:10):
You see this white Range Rover crashed into a ginormous tree,
and it turns out that Alec and Stephen Baldwin were
in the car. He actually took to Instagram Alec did
to say what exactly happened this morning?
Speaker 5 (01:13:23):
I was in this car accident. Guy cut me off
in a truck, a garbage truck. I made a garbage
truck the size of a whale. Never seen a garbage truck.
It must have been something commercial for like taking away
material from construction or something.
Speaker 2 (01:13:34):
It was the biggest garbage truck I've ever seen any Anyway,
to avoid hitting him, I hit a tree.
Speaker 5 (01:13:39):
I had a big fat tree and crushed my car,
my wife's car.
Speaker 2 (01:13:42):
That's all fine, and I'm fine, and my brother's fine,
and Bubby book and my best car is pretty smashed up.
Speaker 5 (01:13:49):
Big tree, big fat tree. It just talks a little
like Trump.
Speaker 7 (01:13:52):
I was just like the biggest, the biggest truck. I've
ever seen this garbage.
Speaker 2 (01:13:59):
In the world.
Speaker 7 (01:14:00):
That's so funny. I actually thought the exact same.
Speaker 1 (01:14:02):
Nobody's ever crashed like this happened before a lot of
people are talking.
Speaker 10 (01:14:05):
About the crash, right, so this actually kind of surprised me.
Jennifer Aniston has hosted SNL twice, but she admitted the
first time that.
Speaker 7 (01:14:13):
She was asked, she actually turned it down, and she.
Speaker 10 (01:14:16):
Said she always thought she was like too hot, too
hot for sn L, And then eventually she came around
and ended up hosting it twice. But I was like, Oh,
that's actually surprising and pretty humble for her to actually
admit now that she's not in that stage of ego.
Kylie Jenner, you guys, she you can call her a
pop star now as well, you can add it to
her resume.
Speaker 7 (01:14:33):
She just dropped a new single called fourth Strike, I.
Speaker 19 (01:14:36):
Strike to Strike Me Get the Moor I just wanted
to tell you I'm so touch me baby, tell me
I'm your baby.
Speaker 12 (01:14:45):
By your name her not Fudys.
Speaker 2 (01:14:51):
Again O.
Speaker 10 (01:15:01):
So it's actually kind of a full circle moment because
you know, this Saturday she drops King Kylie two point zero.
Speaker 7 (01:15:06):
It's like her Kylie Cosmetics ten year anniversary, and.
Speaker 10 (01:15:09):
Ten years ago in her ad, this band that she's
on the song with, Tara Junior, had dropped the song
third Strike, and everyone thought Kylie secretly sang on the song,
and so she was like, Hey, there's this little rumor
that that was me on the song third Strike.
Speaker 7 (01:15:23):
It wasn't. I wish it was.
Speaker 10 (01:15:24):
But because of that, I thought it was only like
only proper ten years later to actually drop a fourth
Strike with me actually on it.
Speaker 13 (01:15:31):
I love it.
Speaker 12 (01:15:32):
I think this is absolutely genius for her.
Speaker 11 (01:15:34):
Also, I feel like with that new Charlie XCX movie
coming out, feel like there might be a Kylie Jenner
collab too, like a feature.
Speaker 12 (01:15:41):
On an Addison Ray song. So I kind of love
for her.
Speaker 11 (01:15:44):
I feel like I wish I had that much money
I could just go and become a pop star.
Speaker 4 (01:15:47):
But I know.
Speaker 2 (01:15:48):
Also, if you see on her Instagram, she's posted a Carousel,
and I think it's a second or third post where
you see her record King Kylie and everybody goes nuts.
Speaker 7 (01:15:56):
Yeahah, king Kylie is that word.
Speaker 10 (01:15:58):
She is that girl out with Hayley Bieber and she
was like rocking the King Kylie hair, you know, with
the Teal Cheal bottoms.
Speaker 12 (01:16:04):
I have it the nostalgia. Thanks Kylie for doing that.
Speaker 2 (01:16:07):
I know your side. On Live did you see? I
can't remember who's hosting this week or the musical act,
but they're saying the rumor is that Taylor Swift is
gonna come out and do whatever Charlie XX combat at
the Charlie XC.
Speaker 12 (01:16:19):
I don't feel like I doubt remember.
Speaker 2 (01:16:20):
I think it might be Sabrina Carpenter maybe, or whoever
whoever's performing, whoever is hosting, there's a Taylor Swift connection,
and they're thinking that Taylor is going to respond to
the Charlie XCX and be.
Speaker 12 (01:16:30):
Shocked if she did.
Speaker 7 (01:16:31):
I would I would be shocked if she did. That
would be like not. I don't think Taylor's that direct.
Speaker 11 (01:16:37):
Yeah, I feel like she likes to keep people on
their toes and guessing. I feel like that's too predictable.
Speaker 5 (01:16:42):
Maybe we got tickets to MGK.
Speaker 2 (01:16:45):
They could be yours, but you gotta win monster match
eight seven seven nine three seven one four seven.
Speaker 5 (01:16:49):
So after I read to grand Can, John Jay and
Rich good morning.
Speaker 9 (01:16:58):
Jen, good morning?
Speaker 6 (01:17:00):
Hi?
Speaker 13 (01:17:01):
How are you?
Speaker 12 (01:17:02):
How are you?
Speaker 19 (01:17:02):
So?
Speaker 2 (01:17:03):
Look, you're gonna play a game with us and you play.
It's your choice. You want to play for MGK tickets
or you want to.
Speaker 5 (01:17:07):
Play for party to part tickets. Oh MGK, okay, all right, Rachel,
game we playing.
Speaker 2 (01:17:13):
They did the mongmch.
Speaker 5 (01:17:17):
It was a radio smash. They did the mong.
Speaker 1 (01:17:25):
Okay, John Jay, you go first? Which real life monster
who took an act and gave her mother forty wax?
And when she saw what she had done, she gave
her father forty one. Who are we talking about? Is
a rhyme about a famous monster.
Speaker 2 (01:17:43):
I'm gonna guess this name just because I've seen it
recently on Instagram.
Speaker 5 (01:17:47):
Lizzie Borden. You this guy go somehow in the ed
gain thing?
Speaker 12 (01:17:53):
Really?
Speaker 11 (01:17:53):
Yeah, here is like a nursery rhyme like about Lizzie
bordon She's like, what he just did the first female
serial kill?
Speaker 19 (01:18:00):
Right?
Speaker 10 (01:18:00):
Or I didn't realize that it was a girlfriend's hold.
Speaker 2 (01:18:05):
They're making. So they're going to do another Monster and
it's on Lizzie Borden and somehow ed Gan crosses. I
didn't watch the Monster Show, but somewhere ed Gen and
Lizzie Borden in the Monster Show, there's a crossover.
Speaker 7 (01:18:16):
Oh, I thought it was interesting.
Speaker 1 (01:18:18):
Okay, but I feel like that was in the early
nineteen hundreds though, yeah, yeah, I think so. Okay, Kyle,
when you say his name three times, he shows up
and will consult you as a ghost to handle your
after death issues. Beetlejuice very good.
Speaker 2 (01:18:35):
Where Peyton says there's a movie called.
Speaker 12 (01:18:39):
There's two of.
Speaker 11 (01:18:39):
Them actually Beetlejuice, Beatle Juice, Peyton.
Speaker 1 (01:18:42):
What's the name of the zombie TV show on AMC
featuring Rick Grimes is a former sheriff fighting off walkers
and trying to rebuild society. Name of the show walking Guy.
There we go, Okay, Jen, here's how we do it.
This is considered the most dis liked Halloween candy of
all time in America.
Speaker 4 (01:19:03):
What is it?
Speaker 9 (01:19:05):
Oh, Candycord.
Speaker 1 (01:19:06):
Everybody on the board, Justice for Candy Corn. We even
move into now the audio portion of the Monster Match.
John j named the movie Poultry geist. Have you ever
seen polter geyst Oh?
Speaker 5 (01:19:23):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (01:19:23):
It was P thirteen, so I thought I could handle it.
It's still scary, is all?
Speaker 5 (01:19:26):
Get out?
Speaker 1 (01:19:27):
Cal your move?
Speaker 6 (01:19:28):
Are you love God?
Speaker 16 (01:19:32):
Mm?
Speaker 19 (01:19:34):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (01:19:35):
I'm gonna say Lord of the Rings, I.
Speaker 1 (01:19:37):
Say, anybody for the steal?
Speaker 12 (01:19:47):
Love God?
Speaker 1 (01:19:48):
Looking for Ghostbusters? The first Ghostbusters? Oh, Peyton, over to
you your secret?
Speaker 12 (01:19:56):
Now I see that people. Okay, I think from the
things that I've learned from the show that that is
the success.
Speaker 22 (01:20:10):
There we go.
Speaker 1 (01:20:11):
Okay, one more home run for you on this one. Jen,
you got to get this one.
Speaker 2 (01:20:17):
Strange.
Speaker 1 (01:20:20):
You have just run then stood much and you were
going to see m gk.
Speaker 22 (01:20:35):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (01:20:36):
I'm so excited.
Speaker 17 (01:20:37):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (01:20:38):
Congratulations Jen, hold on, Okay, we'll set you up.
Speaker 15 (01:20:40):
Well up.
Speaker 2 (01:20:41):
There's this cool article because today's National Face your Fears
Day and when they say one way to celebrate it
is to take a road trip through the country to
the creepiest places. So a website put together the spookiest
places in America, not because of anything that happened there,
just because of their names alone. For example, in Alabama,
(01:21:03):
so I have every spooky place in every state right
in Alabama. There's a place called Spooky Hollow Road in Alaska.
Dead Man Lake in Arizona, Skull Mesa. Never heard of it,
Never heard of it.
Speaker 7 (01:21:15):
Sounds creepy though.
Speaker 5 (01:21:16):
Connecticut Satan's Kingdom State Park.
Speaker 1 (01:21:19):
Don't like it, don't like it at all.
Speaker 2 (01:21:21):
In Delaware. There's Slaughter Beach, Florida. Coffin's Patch in Hawaii,
Devastation Trail in Idaho. I love this Bone Bone, Idaho.
In Illinois, Bloody Gulch Road in Kansas. Is a place
called Hell Creek in Louisiana. There's a place called Transylvania
(01:21:43):
in Maine. Massacre Pond in Michigan. Hell. There's actually a
city called Hell, Michigan in Missouri. Devil's Elbow in Nevada,
Devil's Hole, New Jersey, Ghost Lake in New York, Execution
(01:22:05):
Rocks in Oklahoma, dead Woman Crossing in Oregon, Murderers Creek
in South Carolina, Dave Grave Grave Digger Road in South Dakota.
Speaker 5 (01:22:16):
What's this story? Punished Woman's Lake, Utah.
Speaker 2 (01:22:22):
This reminds me so much of rich Goblin Valley State Park,
West Virginia. Maggotty Run for US, Maggoty Run. There's a
picture of Travis Kelcey and Taylor Swift together from I
don't know when, a couple days ago, maybe I think
it was after the Chiefs game. Was that Monday night,
I don't know what that game was, Sunday or Sunday.
(01:22:44):
And the picture, there's a bunch of pictures of Travis
Kelsey's were in a plaid jacket and pants, these brown pants,
and for some reason on my Instagram feed today I'm
getting pictures of them, like behind the scenes, like I'm
getting pictures of Travis Kelcey and Tato Swift and friends
like in the sweet after or backstage and a party afterwards.
Speaker 5 (01:23:03):
And now I've become obsessed with his pants.
Speaker 2 (01:23:05):
So I took it. Yeah, I sent to you the picture. Oh,
I did that like a half hour ago. I forget
the big to tell you. I was like, okay, because
you have this thing right that can tell you what
kind of pants are.
Speaker 12 (01:23:15):
Where you got him.
Speaker 7 (01:23:16):
Yeah, I can look it up right now.
Speaker 2 (01:23:18):
That would be so nuts because I want to buy
his pants.
Speaker 7 (01:23:20):
You're so funny that you do this with celebrities clothes
all the time. Did you ever end up getting that
ben Affleck jacket?
Speaker 2 (01:23:26):
Yeah, I haven't In fact, it's rolled up in my trunk.
I take it a couple of pictures of me in
the ben Affleck jacket.
Speaker 7 (01:23:31):
There's several cargo pants. But oh it's literally Travis in
his pants.
Speaker 2 (01:23:38):
Oh wow. So, so you do something on your phone
and it tells you exactly the color, yes, brand it is,
and where you can get it.
Speaker 10 (01:23:44):
On an Android phone, you just if you have the
picture up on your phone, you just plus press the
little middle button, which for us is like a little
rounded square, and then it pulls the picture up and.
Speaker 7 (01:23:53):
You circle it and it searches the Internet for it.
Speaker 5 (01:23:55):
So what brand is it?
Speaker 7 (01:23:57):
I don't know yet. I don't know yet.
Speaker 5 (01:24:00):
Does it take a long time?
Speaker 7 (01:24:01):
Well, I clicked on the Instagram posts that had all
separate it. But I will find it for you.
Speaker 11 (01:24:06):
If you have the Google app or the Amazon app
on your phone, you can do that too from the
iPhone with your camera roll.
Speaker 5 (01:24:12):
That's like a lot of work, really sounds like it.
So what do you do?
Speaker 11 (01:24:16):
So when you go like you have to have either
the Amazon app or the Google app on your phone,
you open up your camera roll, you go to the picture,
You press a button in the left hand right hand
corner and then it says search on Google or search
on Amazon. You click on it and then searches.
Speaker 5 (01:24:28):
That's a lot of clicking.
Speaker 7 (01:24:32):
I didn't click at all. I just hit the button.
Speaker 5 (01:24:35):
I guess it is, Kyle, what's gone up with three things?
Speaker 10 (01:24:38):
Okay, So I have some really good news for you
for Halloween night, and I'll tell you what it is
next with John Jay and Rich.
Speaker 2 (01:24:48):
Check in with John Jay and Rich.
Speaker 12 (01:24:51):
A lot hit the top of mic Ky.
Speaker 5 (01:24:54):
What are three things we need to know?
Speaker 10 (01:24:55):
Someone not great news for your Halloween stash? They say
chocolate prices skyrocketing.
Speaker 7 (01:25:01):
So Rich, I know you like to get those full
sized candy bars.
Speaker 10 (01:25:04):
A box of full sized candy bars would run about
forty bucks a box.
Speaker 7 (01:25:07):
Last year, they're off to fifty bucks of boxes.
Speaker 10 (01:25:10):
Generally, they say bags of candy are five dollars more
than they were last year.
Speaker 7 (01:25:14):
Just because of that, I know, I know.
Speaker 10 (01:25:16):
The cool thing is, though, is that Eminem says for
the second year in the row, their rescue Squad will
deliver free candy refills on Halloween. If you live in
a Go Puff area, you request your rescue at MMS
dot com.
Speaker 7 (01:25:29):
Slash Rescue Dash Squad, which is pretty cool.
Speaker 10 (01:25:34):
Meanwhile, Apple TV Plus has just announced a rebrand that
they say will give them a vibrant new identity. The
rebrand they dropped the plus, so it's what you already
called it, Apple TV, just without the plus, a vibrant
new identity.
Speaker 2 (01:25:52):
Rich I don't think I've ever said the plus part.
I say Disney Plus.
Speaker 10 (01:25:56):
I think that's why they dropped it, because nobody says
it anyway.
Speaker 7 (01:25:59):
They everyone is Apple TV.
Speaker 2 (01:26:00):
In fact, I started watching a new show on there
by the way that I recommend. I was not expecting
the show to be as fantastic as it is. I
think it's called Last Frontier.
Speaker 1 (01:26:09):
Oh yeah, I saw the previews for that looks like
a space show. Got plane.
Speaker 5 (01:26:14):
It's like con Air, I think if you remember the
movie conyir so it is. The first five minutes is
insane and fun to watch.
Speaker 2 (01:26:20):
It's a plane that is going somewhere in North Alaska
full of criminals, and it's picking up this one bad
criminal and he is chained up like he's handcuffed, he's
got a bag over his head, he's got his eye,
he's got his mouth shut, he's it's and they put
him on the plane and the plane crashes, and all
these criminals are now loose, and there's a guy who
(01:26:41):
I really like the actor. I don't know the actor is,
but I remember him being like a zero Dark thirty
or is that what's called zero direct thirty And and
there are all these criminals now out and he's trying
to catch them, and then the FBI and the ciare involved.
Speaker 5 (01:26:52):
It's really really good, action packed.
Speaker 7 (01:26:55):
Okay, I mean it does sound really good, really good.
I'm also pretty cool.
Speaker 10 (01:26:58):
They announced that F one, the movie is gonna hit
Apple TV December twelfth, streaming.
Speaker 7 (01:27:04):
I can't wait to watch that movie again. It was
really good. Do you guys remember the name Edwin Castro.
Speaker 10 (01:27:09):
He's the guy that won two billion dollars in the
power Ball Check this out.
Speaker 7 (01:27:14):
He's putting his wind to good use.
Speaker 10 (01:27:15):
He's actually rebuilding homes in his hometown of Altadena after
the recent wildfires. He actually bought up a whole bunch
of the burnt land and he's restoring it with classic
Craftsman file Craftsmen style houses and selling them back to
locals instead of developers, saying he feels like this is
his his calling to give back to his community.
Speaker 1 (01:27:37):
Good for him. That's amazing.
Speaker 10 (01:27:38):
Yeah, I've heard and I've heard a lot of that
land is being bought up by developers and they're doing
like not what it was originally meant, like not what
it was and a lot of locals are getting upset.
So I think it's really cool that he's doing that.
And that's three things you need to know.
Speaker 5 (01:27:50):
Have you ever seen the houses that he's bought?
Speaker 7 (01:27:52):
This guy, oh no, after making the two billion dollars mansions.
Speaker 2 (01:27:56):
In Beverly Hills, like the guys, has definitely been living
it up the right way, a good time. And then
he's like giving back to the community, which is great.
So I just want to put that out the universe
that if I ever win to power Ball, that's what
I will do.
Speaker 5 (01:28:06):
But I'll do it first.
Speaker 2 (01:28:08):
I will first get back to my community a couple
hundred million and then enjoy the billions.
Speaker 5 (01:28:12):
Just throwing it out there. Are you watching anything anything
on TV or anything?
Speaker 7 (01:28:16):
I'm watching Boots still.
Speaker 5 (01:28:17):
Oh that's good.
Speaker 15 (01:28:18):
Huh.
Speaker 9 (01:28:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:28:19):
I feel like I'm getting close to the end of it,
like I'm close to finishing it, and it is it
is a pretty good show.
Speaker 7 (01:28:24):
I also am watching Love Is Blind.
Speaker 10 (01:28:27):
Because I'm a sucker for reality TV and I always
love Love is Blind and this.
Speaker 7 (01:28:31):
New season does not disappoint per the usual.
Speaker 10 (01:28:34):
And then I also watched the Victoria Beckham documentary or docuseries,
which I just I think she's so She's so charming,
and I feel like nobody ever gave her a chance,
Like when she decided to enter the fashion world, they
were like, who's this girl?
Speaker 4 (01:28:47):
Thing?
Speaker 7 (01:28:48):
She is and she did it.
Speaker 11 (01:28:50):
Do you feel like that documentary is like them trying
to make us forget about her Spice Girls days.
Speaker 10 (01:28:55):
No, because she acknowledges it and she even like she
even shares like the exact moment where she feels like
she had to like put posh Spice behind her where
she just felt like like she opened up about how
like they did a reunion tour the Spice Girls and
she was like, I was on stage.
Speaker 7 (01:29:10):
It was really cool for my kids to see me
do that.
Speaker 10 (01:29:11):
But that also made me realize that that was my
passion anymore like fashion was my passion.
Speaker 12 (01:29:18):
Pop off Victoria.
Speaker 2 (01:29:19):
Right, So, I'm watching Slow Horses on Apple, I'm watching
Last Frontier, I'm watching Boots on Hulu, I'm watching doc
and I'm watching Chad Powers.
Speaker 7 (01:29:30):
I gotta watch that. He was just telling me Agetin
about it yesterday.
Speaker 19 (01:29:33):
I know, I know.
Speaker 11 (01:29:34):
I think you will really enjoy yourself while you're watching it,
and I like him. It's one of those shows where
it's just like you can kind of just watch it.
Speaker 12 (01:29:41):
And you're chuckling.
Speaker 11 (01:29:42):
You kind of enjoy the storyline and you look forward
to it the next week, but you're not, like, you know,
not counting down the days.
Speaker 12 (01:29:48):
And I'm excited when it pops up on Hulu.
Speaker 2 (01:29:49):
It's kind of Also, it does something else for me,
like it makes me really like Glenn Powell.
Speaker 15 (01:29:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:29:55):
I already liked him, I know, I know, I thought
he was.
Speaker 5 (01:29:57):
I always thought he was.
Speaker 2 (01:29:58):
He was Okay, he didn't, But now to know that
he took a role like this and he's behind the
scenes part of it makes me like him. Even like
he's got a new movie coming out called what is
it the Shortzenegger movie running Man? Oh yeah, he's got
Running Man. And when I saw the preview for Running
Man a couple months ago, I was like, eh, it
just seemed a little too much. Right now, after watching
him as Chad Powers, I want to go see Running
(01:30:20):
matn to support him because I really like him.
Speaker 12 (01:30:22):
Yeah, no, I feel that.
Speaker 11 (01:30:23):
I feel like Chad Powers was the show that they
made for Glenn Powell to show that he has range,
that he can do comedy, that he can be serious, Like,
I feel like that's what.
Speaker 12 (01:30:31):
The show does, but he really doesn't justice.
Speaker 2 (01:30:33):
Are you all caught up?
Speaker 12 (01:30:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:30:35):
Okay, so there's okay. So I've told you guys that
the story behind Chad Powers it was Eli Manning right
when undercover as Chad Powers, and it was a fun
little yeah I.
Speaker 7 (01:30:44):
Remember during training camp that's coming out.
Speaker 2 (01:30:46):
The most recent episode they cut to So Chad Powers
does amazing play and he's just weirdo. Right, They cut
to Eli Manning to catch up for and he just
starts cussing like it's funny, Like there's all this inside
stuff that's just really fun to watch.
Speaker 19 (01:30:59):
Cool.
Speaker 7 (01:31:00):
And it's also I like when I do that that
little nod to the outside.
Speaker 2 (01:31:03):
Yeah, yeah, it's so much fun.
