in the New York Post last week. I was just
reading some of the comments and I never recomments ever.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Oh what are the comments?
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Okay, what guy says?
Speaker 3 (00:54):
Does it work? Ask Keith Richards. He's a guy from
the early stones, like nine hundred years old. It's done
every rugg in the world. He's still love because it
gets his he he does this, he gets his liver clean.
This This other person is imagine not knowing what the
liver does however, I would like attention. So I saved
a ton of money by sealing chicken broth and a
freezer and showing it off on a social media post.
(01:14):
That's not what I did. Draco, whatever your name is. Anyway,
I'm not gonna read anymore.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
Yeah, I would not read the comments.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
Yeah, so anyway, that's on social media. If you'll go
to New York Post, big article about some of the
stuff that I did.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
It was really cool.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Is there anything that is left out that you swear by?
Speaker 3 (01:31):
I mean, because I know you do a lot of things,
But is there any of your daily routine that you
think is helpful that was.
Speaker 1 (01:36):
Not in the article? The jumping on the trampoline? They
left that out.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
That is terrible. That is yellow journalism. Anyway, tomorrow is
Try It Tuesday on the show. And that's the thing
that Kyle and Peyton do.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
Right.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
You guys got and drop on social media these different
places and restaurants and cool places you go to.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
But this one really stood out that you guys did
last week.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
Yeah, so I can't wait to drop this Try It
to day. It might have been my favorite that we've
done so far. So we went to this this really
cool coffee shop. It's called the Coffee Builders, which if
you guys have been in the valley for a long time,
you've probably heard of Porter Barnwood.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
They also do Porter Steel.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
And they started this little coffee shop as an extension
of their showroom and it just took off and kind
of like took on a life of its own. And
so Thomas Porter, who he is, Thomas Porter of Porter Barnwood.
He's so creative. And the menu at this coffee shop
is unlike anything I've ever seen before. So what they've
done is they've done themes here and there and right
(02:35):
now pop. They have a magic theme that was inspired
by Harry Potter. They don't want to say it's a
Harry Potter theme.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Because you know movie.
Speaker 5 (02:47):
Wizard, it's a Wizard theme, but nods to the movie. Yeah,
it's really cute.
Speaker 4 (02:52):
Yes, And Payne and I went in and we tried
the entire magical menu and it was such a wild
ride because there is a beverage on that menu.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
That has something pretty special with it. Pay do you
remember what the actual beverage is called?
Speaker 5 (03:08):
Something like the Cauldron, the Macha cauldron, maybe.
Speaker 4 (03:11):
Like the Goblins something I'll I'll look at you tell
them about it, and I'll look.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Up the name of it. Okay, because so cool, it
was so dope.
Speaker 5 (03:20):
So essentially was a macha like drink which is super
in right now, and it's like soda water, macha, all
yummy stuff. And they actually give you this small little
flower and it's called a buzz button. And what you
do is before you you eat the buzz button, but
you try the Macha drink and it tastes one way,
(03:41):
and then when you eat this buzz button, you chew
it and it gives you this like weird tingly feeling.
The are super awesome server. His name was Robert. He
told us that it almost simulates like the feeling of
like when it anaphylectic shocks starts. That's what it feels
like when it's.
Speaker 4 (03:59):
Star So it feels like if you're okay, So you
know when you see battery acid and it's sizzling, and
it kind of feels like that's happening all over your mouth,
like your entire mouth.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
It doesn't hurt, not painful.
Speaker 4 (04:14):
It's almost like an intense No, that's what we had
thought at first. It's an intense a tingle bubbling tingling
sour taste, and it's it's an experience. Okay, it's called
the Goblin Macha, so it's essentially almost like a god
like a macha mocktail.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
But yeah, so we we tried the button. We actually
were going to bring one for you guys to try,
and then we forgot. So we try the buzz button.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
We're like, there's no way this drink is gonna taste
different when we take another sip, totally different beverage, like
so bizarre.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
It tastes nothing.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
It's like drinking orange juice than brushing your teeth and
drinking orange.
Speaker 2 (04:53):
Kind of that same thing.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
But what they told us is it's funny because on
the menu, on the menu listed belief, it's like, buzz
button is edible garnish.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
For the brave.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Yeah, you know, can you say the name of the
place again, because I don't think that the coffee builders
the coffee builders.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
And you said it's if you grew up in the
value and no, I don't know the place.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Porter Barnwood.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
Oh my god, they've done so many So they've done
so many of the interior of your favorite restaurants.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
I wouldn't be surprised if Sam Fox worked with them.
That's sort of like really coolistic wools give.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
The interior to their coffee shop.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
They did, and actually what was.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
Fascinating was he said he he designed it as like
like as a sound engineer in mind. So this place
literally it's it's packed, he says, Saturdays and Sundays they've
got an hour and a half line out the door
because it's become so popular off of Seventh Street right
by Chase Field kind of like in that area, and
it's just become so popular that it's like crazy line
(05:48):
at the building. But the way he designed it, it's
a wood it's wood ceiling, wood walls, and you can
barely like you could have a conversation.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
You can still hear even if the place is packed.
Speaker 5 (05:57):
It was super dope. And then also they had one
drink that was like it was kind of like a
drink I think for the kiddos, but it was like
a clear soda, almost like a sprite. And they worked
with this company I can't remember for the life of
me what they were called, but they were like these
glitter cotton candy like bombs for your drink and you
would pull out of like the sorting hat that you
(06:19):
do in the Harry Potter and you drop your cotton
candy in and whatever color it turns tells you what
house of the Harry Potter House. So me and Kyle
are both the house of raven Cloth.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
How can they do that? But they can't say Harry Potter.
Speaker 5 (06:33):
Well, like.
Speaker 4 (06:35):
I do of want the movie company to come after.
They don't actually sorting.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Like it looks like the sorting hat.
Speaker 5 (06:41):
You just have fun with that.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
Raven Cloths. Great, they don't get a whole lot of
pipe in the in the Harry Potter.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
No, we had to look it up too, but it
was like, you're intelligent and you're ready around to.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Wicked vibes? Is wicked opened up?
Speaker 2 (06:54):
I mean, is something that maybe the next one.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
Has been a Harry Potter movie?
Speaker 5 (06:59):
This?
Speaker 1 (06:59):
Yeah, but Porterhouse on the phone there was.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
People there specifically for the hair.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
We weren on at a very random time and it
was still very busy.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Yeah, is this tied into a little payton you said
you went to it? It's not the donut shop you
should you went to.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
Oh no, no, no, this is totally different. Well, actually,
Cadem and I we were it was like six o'clock
at night, and we're like, a donut sounds really good,
let's go stop and get a donut. So we pulled
up to the donut shop and there's no donuts.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
There was no donuts at the doughnut shops out.
Speaker 5 (07:28):
They were out of donuts.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
I guess it is six o'clock at night, so they
are a sell donuts, I know, but they probably go,
they probably make their donuts and they let's say they closed.
They probably closed right around then, so they're probably like,
we can't make more donuts, we're closing.
Speaker 5 (07:42):
My feelings were so I was like, we showed up
to a donut shop and there's no donuts. And then
earlier in the morning, you know that Bikini Beans coffee shop.
We're driving by and they're not in bikinis, and I
was like, but you're the Bikini.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Beans coffee shop.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
They were bikinis, they weren't.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
Was so upset to chill?
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Was it cold?
Speaker 5 (08:01):
It was chilly and rainy, which I understand, but like.
Speaker 2 (08:04):
No bikinis. We just needed a jacket, just needed a
light coat.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
Coffee shop. Okay, So recap doughnut shop. You don want
to say the name don't shop. It was Duncan Dunkin
Donuts had no donuts. The bikini drive through coffee shop
had no girls with bikinis. But the coffee shop that
you call.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
It coffee coffee builders.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
I don't know why I can't remember that.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Because they're builders. They build things.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
Well, that makes sense. Now I can get it. I'll
get the coffee builders.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
Okay, good, So try it on and have a great experience,
and then they'll drop the video tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
So try it.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Tuesday is going to be big on John Jay and Rich.
So don't call say what's the of the coffee shop?
Just wait till tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
We're dropping the video to Maybe we could even drop
the buzz button today.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
We did too.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
We did one just featuring the buzz button experience and
then one featuring the entire experience.
Speaker 5 (08:51):
I'll do that.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
I'll drop that today.
