going on a date, having a good time. You think
there's gonna be another date, but it never happens. So

your coworkers. Eventually you come to us. We want to
hear your story. Then we're gonna call the person that's
(00:31):
blowing you off. So welcome to show what's your story?
Speaker 4 (00:34):
Oh man, thanks?
Speaker 5 (00:36):
Are standing?
Speaker 6 (00:36):
Keg?
Speaker 7 (00:37):
I mean, uh yeah, So I met this girl Lindsey
on Mumble.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Hold hold on, hold on? You met you? You got
you met on Mumble? Are you? Are you on a
speakerphone or bluetooth? Could you get off that and talk
on your phone?
Speaker 7 (00:50):
I know it's bumble was mumble My following as well, well,
you know, I'll try it hopefully this was be clear,
but yeah, I know I met him bumble well and
you know, right away like the conversation was good. You know,
like we just flowed. We a lot in common and stuff,
you know, like, for example, we both like to go hiking,
(01:10):
we both have dogs, and get this, like we even
have a love for a terrible reality TV. I mean
I thought, like, I mean, I know I'm not the
only one, but it's just wild to find somebody who
likes the same kind of entertainment, you know.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Mm hmm, that's rare.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Yeah, like what like what like Love is Blind? Which shows?
Are yours?
Speaker 7 (01:30):
Man? We like all the trash shows?
Speaker 2 (01:32):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Good?
Speaker 7 (01:33):
I mean really we just started talking about all of them.
I mean we were dating all the way back to
you know, the Originals too. I mean it's just, yeah,
I don't know what it is. I don't like scripted
TV anymore, just like that real drama.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
All right, So tell us about the date.
Speaker 7 (01:47):
Well, we went at this Italian spot. I mean, honestly, man,
the date was great. I mean, this is the thing
that that's got me, uh just calling you guys right
because the date was great. I mean we were laughing,
joking around. It was chemistry. I mean, like it just
it was just good night all around. I walked herto
a car afterwards, I went in for a kiss, but
(02:09):
she kind of pushed back and went for a hug instead.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
You know, we'll let me tell you everything.
Speaker 7 (02:14):
Well, maybe I mean, maybe she's just not ready to
exchange saliva, you know, honestly, I mean like, uh, yeah,
I asked some people. You know, that's not always the
right away thing, but I thought maybe she's, you know,
like I said, just wanted to take it slow. So
I didn't really get an impression from her that she
was just had some reason not to like me or anything,
(02:35):
you know. And then, uh, the problem is though, ever
since that night, man, nothing like I've texted her a
couple of times, I got it like a you know,
just not the bugger or anything, but just kind of like, hey,
I had I had fun that night and never heard
from her, and so yeah, I just kind of figured
I would try to call you, guys and maybe figure
out what happened.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
Okay, what's her name?
Speaker 7 (02:58):
Her name's Lindsey.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Okay, that's good, let's call Lindsay up, guys. How long
ago was his date?
Speaker 7 (03:05):
A few weeks ago?
Speaker 3 (03:06):
Okay, you hang tied. Okay, we'll get her number from you.
Take a break, we'll come back. We'll call her. Find
out why she's blown you off?
Speaker 7 (03:12):
All right, thank you so much, you got it.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
Second eight update continues next with John Jay and Rich.
John Jay and Rich, this is the story of Maverick
and Lindsey.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
My friends Bumble brought these two star crossed lovers together
both their love of hiking dogs and reality TV. Well,
let's find out together, shall we. Why love isn't truly blind?
Why she denied his kiss? Is it because he's a mumbler.
You're a mumbler. You can't hear.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
Anythingers saying maybe she didn't want to kiss him because
he called her on speakerphone. All right, Maverick, are you ready? Yeah,
all right, let's call Lindsay find out why she's blowing
them up? All right, hang tit you okay, hang out?
Stay quiet.
Speaker 8 (04:17):
Hello?
Speaker 9 (04:17):
Hi is Lindsay there?
Speaker 10 (04:19):
Oh yeah, Hi, This is Lindsay.
Speaker 9 (04:21):
Hey Lindsay. My name is Peyton.
Speaker 11 (04:22):
I'm with John Jayne Rich and we just wanted to
talk to you really quickly on the radio if you
have time.
Speaker 10 (04:27):
Oh, okay, sure, Linday.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
We got a call from a guy named Maverick. Does
that ring a peal? That's a very unique name. I'm
sure it sticks with you, right, Maverick. Do you remember Maverick?
Speaker 12 (04:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (04:37):
I did go on a date kind of recently with
a guy named Maverick.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Yeah. That guy called us and he was like, I
met this girl on bumble she's awesome, but now I
can't get a return my calls. And we were like, well,
we'll just call her for you. So can you give
us the point of view you have of him and
how the date went and why I guess you're not
into him, or maybe there's a lack of communication, maybe
you are in to him.
Speaker 10 (05:01):
I yeah, So I do feel bad actually for not
texting him back because he was really nice, but I
just couldn't really get over the ick.
Speaker 13 (05:14):
How did you get the ick? What made it happen?
Speaker 10 (05:17):
Yeah, the date, it wasn't terrible. There were just a
few things that sort of threw me off, Like he
talked about himself a lot. He kept on calling the
server buddy, which was just a little cringe for me.
But the real deal breaker moment was at the end
of dinner. I offered him a gum or a mint.
(05:40):
I was just sort of, you know, being polite, and
he turns it down and he says, nah, nah, this
is going to do the trick, and he pulled out
this menthol vape just right there at the table, which
I don't know, I just think is really rude in
a restaurant. And it wasn't like a you know, like
a tiny vape or anything. It was one of those
(06:01):
ones that was really big and you have to like
put the juice in manually. And I don't know, I
was just kind of like, sir, we are still in
the restaurant. Who does that? And I really just could
not look at him the same way after that, and
for me, the vibe just died, and I just knew
that I was not going to go on a second
date with him.
Speaker 13 (06:21):
Once you get the ick, the early is bad.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Nobody wants to put the juice in manually.
Speaker 11 (06:30):
I mean that's a very old school way to vape,
that's for sure. Like there, like it's not like a tiny.
Speaker 9 (06:36):
Little handheld one like but you know, why did he
do that?
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Was right?
Speaker 11 (06:40):
And it's like the menthol vape like the mint instead
of the mint, like that's grass.
Speaker 3 (06:43):
I do you think he was doing that because it
would make his breath better for a kiss? Like were
you going to kiss him? You were giving him a
breath mint? Because you thought maybe there'd be a makeout.
Speaker 10 (06:52):
No, I was being polite.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Oh you were saying that he needed a mint.
Speaker 14 (06:57):
Yeah, I was being polite.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Yep, he should have taken a mint.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Should have taken I heard. I heard. If somebody ever
offers you a mint or a gum, you should take
it because that they're trying to be polite. Maybe maybe
they're letting you know you got bad breath, or maybe
they're just generally being polite. But always take it. Now
he does the vape deal, which is gross. That gave
you the ick, and I think that's one hundred percent
legit to you. Once you get the ick, you can't right. Well,
(07:24):
I'll tell you this, Lindsay can't come back. I'm glad
you went on there to tell us this. But Maverick,
the guy you went on a date with, is actually
on the line listening to MAV seriousity.
Speaker 7 (07:32):
That's why you ghost to me Because I didn't take
your gum.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
No, because you've vaped.
Speaker 10 (07:38):
Yeah, I don't know. I mean I feel like I
should have guessed maybe you'd pull something like this, like
you called the radio instead of just I don't know,
texting me or just like getting the hint maybe that
if I wasn't responding, I wasn't that interested.
Speaker 7 (07:52):
I did text you, That's the thing. I never replied,
So like I thought we had a good time. Look,
I just wanted to know what happened, all right, like
and it ghost me what else? You know what I'm saying.
I felt like we had a good date. I didn't
realize turning down a mint was some kind of like
red flag.
Speaker 11 (08:09):
It's talking about yourself, the server.
Speaker 15 (08:13):
The vape.
Speaker 10 (08:15):
But it wasn't just that. It was like the whole
night was kind of giving me just low key five
whipped your Yeah, like you whipped your mental vape out
inside of the restaurant and you thought that.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
That could work away from side, or like.
Speaker 5 (08:32):
I had to had to add some juice up.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
You come on.
Speaker 5 (08:38):
At the table acting like I was just like blowing
a cloud in your face.
Speaker 10 (08:44):
You know, I feel like you might as well have.
Like when people vape, it's not that subtle. It's not
as subtle as you think it is. I feel like
you could have just taken the gum, said thank you,
and just called it a knight.
Speaker 7 (08:54):
I feel like you're just criticizing my style. I mean,
like I just bought that one a long time ago.
Speaker 5 (08:59):
But they ain't don't fix it.
Speaker 7 (09:01):
Sure, I mean it works.
Speaker 10 (09:04):
Then you do it outside like after a date, like
we're in a restaurant, Like it's so rude.
Speaker 5 (09:10):
I was gonna do it outside.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
It's almost it's almost like Lindsey could be Maverick's dating coach.
Not like she would go out with them, she could
coach them.
Speaker 5 (09:21):
You understand why I'm not taking a piece of gum.
Speaker 7 (09:23):
As a red flash.
Speaker 5 (09:24):
You're not listening.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
It wasn't just that, it was all of it.
Speaker 10 (09:28):
It wasn't just like you're not hearing this.
Speaker 7 (09:30):
Yeah, it's not I don't think because of a vape.
Speaker 5 (09:33):
I know you keep mentioning the baby, but it's like,
you know, I didn't take the bape. I didn't take
the gum because of a vape.
Speaker 10 (09:41):
You're right, No, I hear you. You're you're just not
hearing this. You're not understanding the issue. It's not about
the gum. It's about like the energy and the way
you carry yourself.
Speaker 8 (09:51):
It's just it was not giving.
Speaker 5 (09:54):
I'm friendly to the waiter, you know, I'm friendly to everybody.
I'm like you, my bra you know you're my my
dude and my buddy. I'm like, what's that?
Speaker 8 (10:03):
What's wrong with that?
Speaker 5 (10:03):
What's wrong with you?
Speaker 7 (10:04):
A friendly?
Speaker 8 (10:05):
What's wrong with It's not for me?
Speaker 10 (10:08):
It's not for me. Yeah, well it kind of gives
me the eck.
Speaker 5 (10:12):
Next time I'm bringing I'm bringing a pack of gum
if that's gonna be this just in case I got
another sensitive date like this one here.
Speaker 10 (10:20):
You know, you don't bring the vain to dinner next time?
Speaker 7 (10:26):
Noted.
Speaker 5 (10:27):
Yeah, thanks for the dating tip.
Speaker 10 (10:29):
Yeah, I'm glad I could help.
Speaker 9 (10:32):
He's a terrible man.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
How do you get when she pushes you away from
the kiss? Good night? That look?
Speaker 5 (10:42):
If you're not going to kiss a guy, if you're
not interested in the guy, don't hug him.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
All right?
Speaker 5 (10:46):
Why did I get a hug?
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Why did you get a hug? All right? Thank you
for going on there with us, lindsay so sorry to
bother you.
Speaker 10 (10:58):
Oh no, that's okay.
Speaker 3 (11:00):

Speaker 1 (11:36):
Yo.
Speaker 16 (11:37):
So I was, I was driving home the other day
and I saw Typically I don't do a thing like this,
but like I saw this duck just like chowing in
the middle of the road, and I was like, dude,
this thing is gonna get hit. Like people were kind
of swearing to missus. So I decided to just get
out of the car, pull off the side of the
(11:58):
road and just helped this duck off the road.
Speaker 7 (12:02):
So, like I went over to it, and it didn't
it didn't freak out right away. It was just chilling
there still.
Speaker 12 (12:09):
So I went to grab it and I picked it up.
Speaker 14 (12:12):
But as I was walking to put it off the
side of the road, like it started like.
Speaker 17 (12:16):
Pecking at me and like flapping its wings and feathers
were flying everywhere, and it was just it.
Speaker 16 (12:22):
Was crazy, like it was really fighting me.
Speaker 14 (12:24):
I was like, dude, I'm just trying to save you.
Speaker 18 (12:25):
I'm trying to.
Speaker 5 (12:26):
Put you off the side of the roads.
Speaker 12 (12:27):
You don't get hit.
Speaker 16 (12:28):
So people were were looking at me, like people walking around,
people driving by, like like I heard one guy.
Speaker 7 (12:36):
At Robin's window was like, dude, what are you doing?
Speaker 12 (12:39):
And so I managed to put it off, but like
it actually got me.
Speaker 5 (12:44):
I got scratched a little bit, and.
Speaker 15 (12:46):
Uh, I think, uh, I think.
Speaker 5 (12:49):
I'm a little afraid of ducks.
Speaker 16 (12:50):
Now, Like it's weird, like I've got like an arch
nemesis or something now hopefully too much.
Speaker 12 (12:57):
But yeah, that's it, Okay.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
I don't like ducks. I'm afraid of ducks from being
a child. I'm not afraid of them. I just don't
like them. I want anything to do with them.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
I had. I was on vacation in San Diego one
summer and there was a straight kitten behind a chainling
fence and I tried to hop the fence and my
kids were little and I was trying to be superhero dad,
and I hopped the fence and I went to grab
the kitten and it was a wild one. It was
like it wasn't like kitten. Kitten like need to be
bottle fed. It was kitting like maybe I don't know,
three months old, and it shredded my arms and wanted
(13:31):
no part of me touching it. It scratched, and I
remember there was a Starbucks down the hill and I
go to the Starbucks seat and I was like bleeding everywhere,
and I was like, like, can we get you some
help trying to see the kitten. I'm so pissed off,
and I kid, I can't imagine a duck doing that.
Speaker 19 (13:47):
Anyway, this morning I woke up. I went out last
night and so this morning I woke up and I
couldn't find my purse. Like I was like, oh my god,
I left you somewhere.
Speaker 8 (13:59):
So I'm like streaking out. I call all my.
Speaker 19 (14:03):
Friends, like I have my like phone, but I like
call all my friends, right, and I like texting him
trying to like find my furs.
Speaker 8 (14:10):
And then I.
Speaker 19 (14:10):
Quoted the fridge to get a glass of water and
get where my purses.
Speaker 17 (14:14):
In the refrigerator.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
It's hilarious, hilarious fresh.
Speaker 17 (14:24):

Speaker 20 (15:08):
I know this sounds crazy, but I honestly think I
met my soulmate tonight. He is this bartender, and he
made my drink for me perfectly.
Speaker 17 (15:19):
I mean perfectly.
Speaker 20 (15:20):
No one has ever been able to make my drink
the way I make my drink. This man made this
drink even better than I make my drink. Strong poor
lime wedge flash of Saint Germain.
Speaker 6 (15:32):
I was just like, listen, I don't I don't know
if anyone's ever told you this, but this is literally
what love feels like. I'm literally ready for you to
oppose to me.
Speaker 17 (15:42):
So I honestly think he's my soulmate.
Speaker 20 (15:45):
If anyone knows Travis the bartender from Old Town, let
him know.
Speaker 15 (15:53):
He's the one.
Speaker 17 (15:53):
And my answer is yes, thank you.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
I kind of get that though, Like I go like romantically,
but I go to UH. I get smoothies at one
Stop Nutrition right, and they got like fifty seven locations,
but there's like two or three that I hit every
once in a while. And there's this guy named Cole.
He makes the one right. He makes the best smoothies ever.
When I get a protein shake, And if I were
going there and someone else, I'll be like, who's col
(16:18):
In here? He's the best? Anyway, totally get it. Leave
us a talkback. Tap the microphone on the iHeartRadio app
and we'll get the talk back. Or six two eighty eight,
nineteen thirty three, it's John Jay and Rich drunk down lounge.
Speaker 19 (16:33):
Call now.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Eight seven seven nine three seven one o four seven
it's John.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
Jay and Rich. Okay, Now the sexy video Kyle sent
her husband that leaked. Kyle sent a video to her husband.
In fact, he was like, my wife just texted me
and said she's gonna send me a very sexy video
and me, as a fan of Kyle, went, oh, my Lanta,
(17:01):
what's coming up next?
Speaker 21 (17:03):
So I was actually at the Comstock getting my third
Moxie laser treatment.
Speaker 3 (17:09):
What is that? Because even I know that world that
is okay?
Speaker 21 (17:12):
So the Moxie laser basically what they do is they
hit you with BBL first, which is broadband light, and
that targets like dark spots, redness, sun damage, that kind
of thing. And then they go in with the Moxie laser,
which targets like fine lines and texture of your skin
and helps. And you guys actually gave me one of
the best compliments I've ever received in my life and
you didn't even know it. Both you, John Jay and
Peyton were like, something's different with your makeup that We're
(17:33):
just like, yeah, something's different, Like what are you doing differently?
Speaker 13 (17:36):
And I'm like nothing, it's the treatments can the Comstock.
Speaker 21 (17:40):
Yeah, remember because I got I got sculptured done, and
then I've been getting these treatments and if you do
a series of them, you see better success. And so
this was my third of three. And your face gets
really red afterwards, and it kind of like is like
on fire. And it gets swollen, which you can see
right now if you're watching our videos. But after the treatment,
(18:01):
to help sort of subside a little bit of the
redness and cool the face down a little bit, they
put this mask on that literally looks to me like
a melted Jason face mask from Spirit Halloween Store.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
It looks like something Ed Gaen would put on. It
looks like you're wearing human skin.
Speaker 13 (18:18):
It's not cute. Okay.
Speaker 21 (18:20):
So here I am looking at myself and my hair
is a mess, and I'm in this mask, and I'm like,
oh yeah, this right here, this is super sexy not
And so I'm like, you know what, I'm going to
surprise Scott, And so I text Hi. Hi'm like, here
comes a really sexy video.
Speaker 13 (18:36):
Look out for it. And then I send him this,
Hey Ben, can wait to see you later. I can
barely talk because the mask has like.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
If it works together, Hey Ben.
Speaker 7 (18:58):
Can wait to see you later.
Speaker 21 (19:01):
And pour Scott, he just let down. He thinks, like
an actual sexy video is coming in. It's probably the
worst I could ever look at, Babe.
Speaker 3 (19:08):
I'm gonna send your real sexy video. What time of
the day was this?
Speaker 13 (19:11):
I think it was like one o'clock.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
He's like, kids go to bed, go to bed, and
then it gets that. By the way, that video is
posted right now on our Instagram and John Jay Rich
you can see it right now before her husband makes
us take it down to John J and Rich on Instagram.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
Hey dummy, if you get free roses, it's a trap.
War of the Roses starts right now on John Jay
and Ridge.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
The time for War of the Roses. Good Morning, Money, Welcome.
Speaker 10 (19:43):
Hi, good morning.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
So you think so much cheating on you? Right, so
we want to hear your story. You want to hear
why you think that and who they are and all
that jazz. So welcome to program. Let us in what happened?
Speaker 4 (19:53):
Yeah, I really think that my boyfriend might be cheating
on me. Actually, and we've been together a long time
since high school, but lately I really feel insecure, you know,
like I'm falling behind in life and he's leveling up
because he's doing so well with work, and I'm really
proud of him for that, but you know, I'm not
(20:13):
really in the best place career wise myself, so it
scares me. I'm just worried that one day he's going
to wake up and realize that he can do better
than me.
Speaker 13 (20:24):
That's sad.
Speaker 4 (20:25):
And also, yeah, he's he's been on his phone, just
glued to his phone twenty four to seven, and whenever
I mentioned that or bring it up to him ask
him about it, he says that he's just posting content
or responding to comments. But I know the difference between
engagement and hiding something because he's been super protective of
(20:46):
his phone. He won't let it out of his sight,
and I've seen him smiling at messages that he doesn't
want me to see. I mean, that's what it looks
like to me. So yeah, my gut is really telling
me that there's more going on here than just work
or regular social media stuff. And I really need to
(21:07):
know if I'm just being paranoid or if there's actually
something going on here that I should be worried about.
Speaker 9 (21:14):
Sounds a little weird.
Speaker 21 (21:15):
I think whenever someone's super protective or overprotective of their phone,
it's like one of two things. Yes, they are being
shady and hiding something, or they're trying to get you
a nice gift. Do you have any birthdays or anniversaries
coming up? Like they're definitely hiding something or bad, just right,
Like I can't believe about to pull this off.
Speaker 4 (21:33):
Unfortunately, No, I don't have a birthday coming up, no anniversary.
Speaker 9 (21:38):
I mean Christmas is around the corner either, christ we
can cross our fingers and toes.
Speaker 13 (21:43):
Did you say how you together?
Speaker 9 (21:45):
You finished Christmas shopping?
Speaker 3 (21:46):
What do you mean?
Speaker 9 (21:47):
Guys aren't really Maybe it's.
Speaker 13 (21:48):
An engagement ring.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
Look for me, I'm not a psychiatrist or a psychologist,
but there's like common sense and to me, it sounds
like you got a lot of insecurities. I mean, you
first started saying that he's going to find somebody better
than you and you don't think you're good for him.
But you've been with him since high school. Like why
would you have those thoughts? I would think that maybe
you had previous relationships or maybe you were mentally, you know,
put down, But he's been with you since high school,
(22:11):
So like, why do you think that about yourself?
Speaker 4 (22:15):
Yeah, it's just because he's been acting so different lately,
you know, like he has a lot of followers on
social media now and making all this content and I
don't know, I think it might really be going to
his head. And yeah, he's just been really different than
he was before.
Speaker 11 (22:32):
And also too to me like John Jay, like, I've
definitely felt that way, the same way that you have
Monet and relationships. It's like dang, like is one day
this person't gonna wake up and does not want to
be with me anymore. But a big part of that
is one absolutely insecurity, but then another part like I
feel like it's on your partner to lift you up
and show you and love on you and you know,
let you know and have that reassurance. And it seems
(22:52):
to me that he's not giving her the reassurance that
she needs. Regardless.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
Well, let's see, it doesn't mean you're wrong. Let's see
who he sends a flower too. What's your boyfriend's name, Monette?
Speaker 4 (23:02):
Okay, his name is Matt.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
Okay, we're gonna get him on the phone, tell him
he won a dozen red Roses, and we'll see who
he sends me to. And Kyle, you could be all
like your social media following is humongous. Yeah, we definitely
need you to plug us on your social media apps
since you're always on your phone, all right, moneye Hankti
we get mad on the phone War The Roses continues
next with John Jay and Rich John Jay and Rich.
(23:26):
We are like a whole in the middle of war
in the roses. You got Monette and Matt boyfriend and
girlfriend since high school. Where are you guys now? Money?
Are you in college? Are you in your thirties? Do
you guys have grandkids? Where are you guys now?
Speaker 4 (23:41):
We're both twenty nine right now?
Speaker 3 (23:43):
Actually, okay, it's a long time.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
Been a while since high school.
Speaker 3 (23:46):
Yeah, okay, And now you think he could be cheating.
You feel like hit. He's had his come up, he's
blown up with his career. You feel like you're stable
or stale, and that he's going to find somebody better
than you. You feel that way. He's all so always
on his phone, he's laughing, looking stuff, but he won't
let you see his phone. So we're gonna see who
send the flowers to Colin FuG You ready to go?
Speaker 13 (24:07):
I'm ready?
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Hello?
Speaker 5 (24:30):
Hi?
Speaker 13 (24:30):
Is Matt available?
Speaker 15 (24:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 17 (24:33):
This is Matt perfect.
Speaker 20 (24:34):
Hi'm at So.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
My name is Journey.
Speaker 13 (24:36):
I'm calling you with a new company. We're called jan
Ar Flowers.
Speaker 21 (24:39):
We're running a new social media campaign and your account
really stood out to us. You've got great engagement, a
great following, and so we'd love for you to take
a part in it. It's called post for pedals. So
we get to send out our most romantic bouquet of
roses in a nice crystal vase. It's very, very gorgeous,
usually almost two to three hundred dollars depending on which
one you choose, and we'll get to that in a second.
(25:01):
But it's totally free for you, and all we ask
in return is that you post for the pedals and
you know, maybe say something great about us.
Speaker 15 (25:07):
Okay, nice, Yeah, yeah, I'll go for it.
Speaker 21 (25:09):
Yeah, perfect, Okay, So I'm guessing most people pick the
more expensive one. It does come with a you know,
a little extra like jushing if you will, So we'll
go ahead and put you down for that. The only
other information that I'll need from you is I'll send
it out with a nice little card and like I
did say it was, it is our most romantic book
hat So if you want to go that vibe, that's great,
or you know, depending on the nature of your relationship,
just let me know the message you want on it,
(25:30):
and then we can go name an address and I'll
tell you when it's sent out, and we can send
you like social media handles and.
Speaker 7 (25:35):
All that cool.
Speaker 15 (25:36):
Yeah, could I actually have two of those things of
roses too? Like ten thousand followers, so I could. I'd
be willing to make a post if I need two
of them.
Speaker 9 (25:44):
Yeah, perfect, we can do that.
Speaker 21 (25:47):
I would just probably have to do like the more
affordable one. But they're just as gorgeous. They're so so gorgeous.
So yeah, you can go ahead and we'll just do
two messages right now, go ahead and start with the
first one.
Speaker 15 (25:57):
Sorry for the message to put a message on it.
Speaker 21 (26:00):
Yeah, I'm going to send both of them out with
a card, so that's your chance to personalize it. You've
got two of them going out, so whatever message you
want on each one of them, let me know and
then we'll talk name an address on both of those
for you.
Speaker 15 (26:12):
Oh yeah, I guess. Uh here, enjoy these flowers? Then
is the same message for both of them.
Speaker 21 (26:21):
Do you want to put enjoy these flowers on both
of them? I mean some people usually get a little
more like lovey dovey, but that's okay.
Speaker 15 (26:25):
Yeah, sure, it's easier.
Speaker 13 (26:28):
Enjoy these flowers.
Speaker 21 (26:29):
Okay, we'll put that on both of them, and then
who did you want to address the first one too?
Speaker 15 (26:34):
The first one for Cali and then this second I guess, uh, money,
what what are you serious?
Speaker 12 (26:44):
Right now?
Speaker 4 (26:45):
You're sending flowers to another.
Speaker 15 (26:47):
Girl and you whoaoa whoa your own girl friends?
Speaker 21 (26:50):
What that is?
Speaker 22 (26:51):
Super weird?
Speaker 2 (26:52):
Money?
Speaker 4 (26:53):
What? What?
Speaker 17 (26:53):
What?
Speaker 3 (26:54):
What is?
Speaker 15 (26:55):
Why are you on the phone?
Speaker 3 (26:56):
What's going on?
Speaker 4 (26:57):
Don't play on that. You really thought you could flowers
just some random girl and I wouldn't find out?
Speaker 15 (27:03):
My god, Lonet, it is not like that. Okay, I
sent you flowers?
Speaker 2 (27:07):
Did I not?
Speaker 15 (27:07):
Did I?
Speaker 3 (27:08):
Okay?
Speaker 15 (27:09):
The other boat uquay is a thank you?
Speaker 3 (27:11):
You know, Matt, you're on the air, You're on the radio.
You're on the radio, John J. Rich war the roses?
Speaker 7 (27:16):
What put me on the radio?
Speaker 4 (27:19):
Sending her? This other girl? Why are you sending her
a bouquay of roses?
Speaker 17 (27:23):
At a thank you?
Speaker 15 (27:24):
Thank you for what I'm as a thank you for
helping me out with content. Okay, it's literally we've just
been making videos and stuff. She's got a following. We've
done TikTok live a few times. I've got a following
it networking. Oh my gosh, yes, he's helping you.
Speaker 4 (27:41):
This is the first time I've ever even heard her name.
How did you even meet and like this is this
is not just regular networking type of stuff to just
send someone flowers, especially roses.
Speaker 15 (27:56):
She's got me a bunch of new followers money I
met her on TikTok He's got me a bunch of
followers where it's part she's part of the content journey. Okay,
and it's it's fine, it's nothing weird. Like I said,
I say you roses too, Okay, but I don't.
Speaker 4 (28:11):
Understand if that's a big part of your content journey.
Why am I only hearing about her right now? You?
Speaker 15 (28:19):
You literally act like I'm cheating just because I'm talking
to someone with followers. Okay, You're being really dramatic.
Speaker 4 (28:25):
Talking to another girl constantly is super inappropriate. And I
don't care if a TikTok live DM or content brainstorming
or whatever. You're giving another woman access to you and
that crosses a line for me.
Speaker 17 (28:38):
What are you?
Speaker 6 (28:39):
No way?
Speaker 15 (28:40):
Okay? You maybe you just need to level up and
keep up. Okay, I'm not gonna it is because you're stuck. Okay,
I'm I'm about to blow up in a and this
is what comes with it. Okay. I think I'm gonna
stop talking to people.
Speaker 16 (28:52):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (28:53):
Wow, So now I'm the problem because I have boundaries.
Speaker 15 (28:57):
I'm just saying, if you can't handle it, maybe for you,
that's the feeling that you had.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
That's not paranoia. That was the feeling she had.
Speaker 3 (29:05):
Also, she has boundaries, but does not sound like they
were ever set. So he's kind of like crossed those
boundaries that she like they haven't talked about. Now that's
so stated. I think he got really rude there at
the end here you.
Speaker 9 (29:15):
Should know about that. She's obviously it's like you think
you're better than her.
Speaker 15 (29:20):
Well keep doing to me right now, like what are
we even talking?
Speaker 2 (29:24):
Like?
Speaker 21 (29:25):
You know, No, it's one thing for you to like
go out and network and create and do your business,
and that's great for you. But the fact that you're
hiding this person from your significant other is what makes
it shady.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
This is well, wait, but and then she asked you
about it and you make her feel bad about it.
That's not cool.
Speaker 15 (29:43):
Would she set me up on some sort of like
entrapment scenario.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
I feel like, you know, hey, man, you're blowing up.
It's going to happen. You're blowing up.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
I was worried that you were cheating and now obviously
I find out that you.
Speaker 15 (29:54):
Are, so I was right, I'm not not cheating. You
literally made up your mind that cheating. I'm not telling
you I'm not.
Speaker 3 (30:01):
By the way, that's a pretty big attitude to have
for really ten thousand followers. Rich has ten thousand followers
in his stool, which is a whole other problem.
Speaker 4 (30:15):
It seems like you can't handle being loyal to me
because all of this stuff, all of this social media
content creation stuff is going to your head. And so
maybe I'm just not for you anymore.
Speaker 5 (30:27):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
Since high school, you guys just gonna end it just
like that because of social media.
Speaker 11 (30:31):
I mean, obviously there's been some issues before.
Speaker 3 (30:34):
Yeah, I think there's a mental abuse to me, That's
what it seems like to me. Like he's just mean
to her.
Speaker 13 (30:39):
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 11 (30:40):
And like here's the thing, say, like Matt does blow up,
like imagine how much more that's going to go to
his head and then he really might step out and
really cross boundaries and you don't want any part of
that money?
Speaker 4 (30:50):
Yeah, Yeah, I mean lately has just been I'm purchased
though off and it just wasn't like how I remember
him being there or when we first met and got together,
and he just seems like a different person. Now, yeah,
I mean that's really sad, but yeah, I just I
can't deal with how.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
He is right now, Okay, well he did send you flowers.
He also sent it to the other girl, but he
also didn't do anything romantic on the on the cards,
the one of you said was a lesser bouquet, right
or are they both equal?
Speaker 13 (31:21):
I just said I'll give you the less expensive ones, although.
Speaker 3 (31:24):
That he could do too, so I wonder which one
he was sending. Unless you're exactly the same, one is
just less like if you're sending like just trying to
put yourself in his brain for a second, a stupid brain.
Is he going, oh this girt? If everything he says
is true? Is he sending a coworker or somebody's working with, Hey,
these are just a nice flowers, thanks for your help.
And then he also send the romantic red flowers to
(31:45):
his girlfriend.
Speaker 11 (31:45):
I feel like a text message would do if you
really wanted to your help.
Speaker 3 (31:51):
You can text can I get two flowers? Yeah?
Speaker 9 (31:54):
Sure, And that's your opportunity to say hey.
Speaker 13 (31:57):
Thank you in the message?
Speaker 3 (31:59):
What did you say the message?
Speaker 13 (31:59):
Enjoy both of them just do the same thing.
Speaker 3 (32:02):
Yeah. Yeah, and you guys got issues. I think you
guys can go to therapy work it out, or you
have to end it. And you need to let us
know right now.
Speaker 9 (32:11):
A lot of relationship that they've been in and how
to deal with Well, thank.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
You both for going on the air with us.
Speaker 19 (32:16):
Thank you.
Speaker 13 (32:17):
I think you're better off without him.
Speaker 5 (32:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (32:22):
I don't like his ego anti you know what.
Speaker 13 (32:23):
I kind of feel like he is holding you back.
Speaker 2 (32:25):
I'm going to follow Matt.
Speaker 3 (32:26):
I just unfollowed him. That's what I say. I just
unfollowed you. Well money, Matt, thanks for being on a
program that's War of the Roses with John Jay and Rich.
You don't when it gets the.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
Last call and all the dudes kind of start creeping
up on you.
Speaker 3 (32:40):
We have the solution.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Give them the John Jay and Rich Drunk Dial Line
six two eight, nineteen thirty three.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
It's John Jay and Rich on four sevens John Jay
and Rich. Hey, Jerry, good morning.
Speaker 15 (32:53):
Good morning, good morning.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
What's going on?
Speaker 2 (32:57):
I went on my first thirty date thirty second.
Speaker 12 (33:02):
Well, I met her on Tinder and then we were
going to meet at a restaurant and then she walked
into the restaurant, looked at me and said no, and then.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
Who She recognized you from the Tinder profile, So you
must not look that different from your Tinder profile.
Speaker 4 (33:20):
No, my all my.
Speaker 12 (33:21):
Photos are really are really recent. I try to I
try to keep it I try to keep it fresh.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
Is this your first Tinder date?
Speaker 4 (33:29):
Uh?
Speaker 12 (33:31):
No, I mean I've been another Tinder date, but it
had been a while.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
Wondered what you were doing. Were you like tonails at
the bar?
Speaker 13 (33:40):
I know, I know, maybe it wasn't what you looked like.
Speaker 12 (33:42):
I'm like, I'm like, did you not like my outfit was?
I didn't start eating, so it's not like I had
food in my teeth.
Speaker 21 (33:49):
Were you wearing some sort of sports memorabilia like, you know,
like some people are die hard about their team, And
if you were wearing like a rival jersey, she might
be like nope, or just a jersey yeah yeah, or
jersey flipped.
Speaker 12 (34:00):
Jasarn like a nice turtle mac Oh, well maybe that
was it with no turtle neck, no leaves, oh man sandals.
Speaker 13 (34:10):
No, I'm just kidding.
Speaker 15 (34:11):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (34:12):
You got a real life swipe left real life in person?
Speaker 2 (34:16):
She just go like nope and no, explanation, like, so
it sounds like it's faster than thirty seconds. Actually, if
she walks in, sees you and says no and then leaves,
that's not even thirty seconds. That was five seconds.
Speaker 22 (34:29):
But did she like I.
Speaker 12 (34:32):
Would have thought she'd have at least had a drink
with me, But no, nothing, No, you know.
Speaker 3 (34:38):
I saw this interview with a guy the other day
and I don't know the guy. I see him all
over Instagram and I follow him and I don't know
his name, but he's awesome. He's got a podcast, always
talks about how much money he makes on the podcast.
Speaker 2 (34:48):
It sounds like a great guy.
Speaker 3 (34:49):
He makes like thirty mili. He goes, there's a reason
I tell people how much I make, And he has
this explanation for it. But he was talking about it
because I'm a douche right after, you know, and he's like,
I don't think he's a douche. I think he's really
really smart. But he talks about people nowadays don't go
out and do stuff, they rely strictly on that we're
raising a generation of men, he says. He specifically said
men that don't go out, that don't just expect everything
(35:11):
to happen online and live these lives online, so and
and sometimes the women too. So when you do go out,
there's an awkwardness and you don't know how to interact
with people.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
I believe that's probably right.
Speaker 3 (35:21):
And maybe you walked out, maybe she walked out and
you had your shirt tucked into tight or maybe you
look down at her, you know, there's no eye contact.
Maybe you look down and go, oh, hi, yeah, I'm
Jerry and she's like, I don't think so, wal Man.
You know there's something like that. But I mean you
sound like you have a good personality and that you
can handle yourself in public, right.
Speaker 12 (35:42):
I like to think that I do. I do pretty
well at friends, parties and gathering. Yeah, I don't spend
all my time at home. So this was definitely uh unexpected.
Speaker 21 (35:57):
Did you message her as at all, as like a
follow up like, well, well that was quick?
Speaker 12 (36:00):
Are you like you okays?
Speaker 2 (36:06):
You sound Jerry? There had to be something. But I
feel like we have like a whole phone thing for
Jerry now, like who's had the shortest date and why,
Like Jerry, nobody's going to be thirty seconds, are they?
Speaker 20 (36:20):
I mean?
Speaker 21 (36:21):
Well, yeah, people who someone doesn't show up.
Speaker 2 (36:23):
I guess that's I guess that's true.
Speaker 12 (36:25):
Would definitely well, Jerry.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Thanks for calling in. Man tried try bumble, Okay, I'll
be out back. Try plenty of Fish. That one's a
big topic on our show.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
Yeah, there's an app for that.
Speaker 3 (36:37):
I don't know. I heard, I heard people. We brought
it up on time and it's still we still get
text message.
Speaker 12 (36:41):
On it, especially the same thing as like Facebook dating
at this point. Plenty of Fish.
Speaker 3 (36:46):
Well, thanks for calling in though, Good luck to you.
Thanks for telling that story. Love it eight seven seven seven. Yeah,
we can do like dates gone wrong, tender dates gone
wrong and dating app's gone wrong eight seven seven nine
three one four seven Kiss FM. We want you to
be part of the show.
Speaker 1 (37:05):
Call us eight seven seven nine three seven one oh
four seven get on the air with John Jay and Rich.
Speaker 3 (37:11):
One O four to seven Kiss FM. It's John Jay
and Rich So we're talking to Jerry. He went on
what he calls the shortest tender date in the history
of tender thirty seconds. He walked in. She said, no,
I don't think so. You're not my type. So we
wanted to hear about bad dates, something that went wrong.
One thing that went wrong or something that happened eight seven, seven, nine,
three seven one four seven. Good morning, Bernadette, Hi, good morning.
(37:33):
What happened to you? On a date?
Speaker 16 (37:36):
So?
Speaker 14 (37:36):
I had gone out with this guy a couple of times,
and we were on our third date and my mom
called in the middle of the date and she was
babysitting my daughter, and so I said, hey, I got
to take this call real quick, and I picked up
the phone, and you know, my mom's like, is everything
going okay? Whatever? Whatever, And then he grabbed the phone
(37:58):
out of my hand and then put his ear and said, hey, mom,
this is so and so and how's it going and
what are you guys doing, and just having like this
random conversation with my mom and calling her mom.
Speaker 3 (38:12):
And I just was like, no, I could see his intent.
It sounds kind of cute. It was kind of cute,
but he's not that in yet another I could see
what he was doing, and.
Speaker 23 (38:21):
He already wasn't feeling us, because if she was, she'd
be like, oh my god, it's like crazy, Like our
family is really weird when it comes like introducing people
to the family.
Speaker 14 (38:33):
There's like a way about it, really, And so that
just like threw me out. I was like, no, we
don't force ourselves in. You get let in.
Speaker 3 (38:42):
That's my mom, that's your mom. You said, this is
your third third date with the guy. Yeah, and now
had you been intimate with him before we had? Yes?
Oh see, so I coul see why would feel comfortable
enough to pick up the phone.
Speaker 2 (38:53):
And she's like, I better marry your daughter. Now.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
He's like, yeah, all the things we did about that,
but I get married. That's wild that you slept with him,
But how dare you talk to my mom on the phone.
Speaker 9 (39:06):
No, I feel that she didn't let him in.
Speaker 20 (39:08):
Weird this.
Speaker 7 (39:19):
That's crazy.
Speaker 3 (39:21):
Well, that's good. I'm glad you shared. Berndadette, thanks for listening.
Speaker 14 (39:24):
No problem.
Speaker 11 (39:26):
That reminds me so much of something that happened to
me when I was in college. There was this guy
that he I had met him. He was like on
a visit to our school, and so I was like, okay,
like whatever. We texted, and then a month later he
came back to like go on his official visit, and
we were at my apartment and he was like on
FaceTime with his mom and I was just like laying
there and I was like, okay, this is kind of
weird in general, like I don't really like you in
(39:47):
my space anyway. I wasn't vibing with him, and he
turned the phone around and made me talk on the
phone with his mom. His mom knew everything about me,
knew what I was going to school. I was like,
this is oh, that's cute.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
No, he was in your house yeah and I yeah.
Speaker 11 (40:04):
And then it actually fell on like a Halloween weekend
and we were all going out and he got super
sick and I was like, well, I'll go get you
like a gator rid and suit.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
But like, I'm going out, what did you also get
intimate with him?
Speaker 21 (40:15):
No, but it's the same because both of them said
they weren't really into that. It's totally affected the way
that otherwise that kind of awesome.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
He was talking to his mom about you. That'd be awesome.
Speaker 8 (40:26):
Hey Wendy, good morning.
Speaker 3 (40:28):
So what happened to you on a date?
Speaker 8 (40:30):
I got set up on a blind date and this
guy was like, I had a lot of money, his
dad was a judge. I felt very intimidated, like this was.
Speaker 7 (40:37):
Way out of my league.
Speaker 14 (40:39):
And so we go out.
Speaker 8 (40:40):
We have go to a bar, have one drink, and
it comes back with like pint size jack and cokes
like they were half jack half coke.
Speaker 15 (40:50):
We have.
Speaker 8 (40:51):
Hees back and gets another one. We go next door
to this fancy dinner with like six or eight other people.
At the end, everybody's like, who's going to pay the bill?
Everybody's fighting. They want to pay the bill. They want
to be a big shot. And I'm like, oh my god,
I am so out of my league. I can't do this. Okay,
So we just leave the restaurant and he walks me
(41:15):
to the car, opens the door, and I'm like, okay,
so nice. He's a gentleman. Puts me in the car,
closes the door, and I'm waiting for him to come
around to the driver's side and he doesn't come and
I look back and he was peeing on the tire.
Speaker 2 (41:33):
And you guys have been married for twenty three years now,
is that what you're gonna say?
Speaker 4 (41:36):
Oh? No way.
Speaker 8 (41:39):
I realized at that moment I was not out of
my league and money does not buy you class.
Speaker 3 (41:46):
Did you drink the pipe jack and coke?
Speaker 8 (41:49):
I sipped on that. I think he may have had three.
Speaker 24 (41:54):
Tire and he had to pee on the tire Except
for I don't.
Speaker 8 (41:57):
Know if you know this, but they have bathrooms in restaurants.
Speaker 3 (42:02):
Wendy, thanks for sharing that start with us. Have a
great day.
Speaker 8 (42:05):
Thanks you too.
Speaker 3 (42:06):
Eight seven seven ninety three seven one four seven. I
want to hear about something bad that happened on a date.
More of your calls. Next with John Jay and Rich.
I don't know how you found us, but I'm so
thankful that you did. It's John Jay and Rich one
four to seven Kiss FM. John Jay and Rich. We
want to hear about something terrible. It happened on a date. Carlo,
what happened to you?
Speaker 11 (42:27):
Hi?
Speaker 24 (42:28):
Good morning?
Speaker 15 (42:28):
Hi you guys?
Speaker 11 (42:29):
Hi?
Speaker 3 (42:29):
Good? What happened?
Speaker 8 (42:30):
All right?
Speaker 24 (42:31):
Well, so this was setting the stage. This is during COVID.
This is like what late twenty twenty early twenty twenty one,
where people are starting to get you know, set up
with everything. I have been talking to a guy on
a dating app, and you know, he's pretty cute and
all that, and I walk in the first thing I
see when he walks in to the bar that we're
meeting at, he's got that gross COVID beard. You know
(42:53):
what I'm talking about.
Speaker 4 (42:54):
Like.
Speaker 24 (42:55):
Scraggly, it's not moisturized and I'm not a perperse.
Speaker 4 (42:59):
To begin with, so that just gave me the egg.
Speaker 2 (43:02):
That's just to stay inside for too long with zero hygiene.
Speaker 24 (43:05):
Yeah, and that, but that wasn't the worst of it. Then,
you know, he was clearly nervous. But his his laugh
was the Mickey Mouse laugh. It was, you know, he
he'd be like Disney person. I'm like a huge Disney person.
(43:27):
So that like ruined it. That killed it for me.
And and then the final straw was so we were
we were sitting at the bar, and he could tell
I was, you know, a little uncomfortable, little nervous because
of everything that's going on. But he like completely misread
the cues and was like, oh my gosh, he looks
so stressed. Would you like to have a massage? And
I was like, you know, I just outright told him
(43:48):
we're at a bar, dude, like, that's not this is
not a place where I want a massage. And he's like, well,
you know, why don't why don't we ask the bartender.
I'm sure it's okay. And so he, you know, turned
to the bartender and asked the question. And I gotta
say this, I can give the bartender credit because as
this guy was asking the bartender the question.
Speaker 16 (44:08):
I like, lean back in.
Speaker 24 (44:09):
My barstool as far back as I can so then
I'm out of the peripheral vision of the guy I'm
on a date with, and the guy asked the question.
The bartender immediately looks at me for a split second,
sees me shaking my head, being like no, absolutely not,
looks back at the guy and was like, nah, dude,
that's weird.
Speaker 2 (44:27):
Oh we got your back.
Speaker 24 (44:28):
He got my back, He got my back, so yeah, right,
So yep, that was all of that day. I was like,
absolutely not.
Speaker 2 (44:39):
This will We're not doing this again, which just call
this segment. Guys are weird.
Speaker 24 (44:44):
They really are. They really are. Don't get me wrong.
I'm happily married now and my husband's amazing, but you know,
he's got a couple of weird things, and I'm like,
why why?
Speaker 3 (44:53):
Hi, Carla, thanks for sharing that story with us. All right,
thank you, thank you, Missy. Good morning. What happened to
you on a date?
Speaker 18 (45:00):
Hi? Yeah, good Marny.
Speaker 10 (45:02):
So I was out with this guy.
Speaker 18 (45:03):
It was our first date. Won't say his name because
he's pretty well known, and we were at this nice
little Italian restaurant and we were having dinner and I
had gotten up to go use the lady's room, and
while I was in the bathroom, one of my friends
called my cell phone. And I was supposed to go
to a party later that night, and he called and
was like, hey, can you give me a ride? I said, yeah, sure,
(45:23):
when I'm down, I'll pick you up either at this time.
So I walk out of the bathroom, I go and
I sit down back at the table. But the guy
that I was with wasn't at the table, and I'm
looking around this restaurant, smaller Italian restaurant, and I see
him over like hunt at this table talking to these guys.
I can only describe it as like looks like straight
out of a mob boss movie. And they're all looking
(45:44):
at me and talking. And then he comes over and
he sits down and he reaches across and he kind
of aggressively grabbed my hand and he said, don't ever
do that again. And I said, you what he said,
don't ever take a call from another guy when you're
on a date with me. And I was like, oh
my gosh, how the heck did you know? I was
on the phone with another guy? I was in the bathroom.
It's a lady's room anyway. So shortly after we wrap
(46:06):
up dinner.
Speaker 4 (46:07):
We walk out to my car.
Speaker 24 (46:08):
I put my purse on the.
Speaker 18 (46:09):
Seat and I turn around and he grabs me to
kiss me.
Speaker 17 (46:12):
I pushed him back.
Speaker 10 (46:13):
I was like, what are you doing?
Speaker 18 (46:15):
And he said, I bought you dinner. I reached in,
I grabbed the wallet out of my purse. I pulled
it twenty out.
Speaker 3 (46:20):
I want it up.
Speaker 22 (46:21):
I throw it at him.
Speaker 18 (46:22):
I'm like, well, now you didn't. I get in the
car and I drive away.
Speaker 4 (46:27):
Later.
Speaker 18 (46:28):
This guy was married, he had kids. What scared the
call and asked for another gate.
Speaker 9 (46:33):
Yeah, I'm like dying to know who.
Speaker 11 (46:35):
This guy is.
Speaker 2 (46:36):
Well, Missy, I don't want to put my business out
on the radio like that ever again. But and wasn't
that Z good? Big ZD was delicious? Am I wrong?
Am I wrong?
Speaker 4 (46:47):
I mean, you're you're the right thing.
Speaker 18 (46:49):
You're we're talking to Italians, we're talking you know.
Speaker 3 (46:53):
Thatst So, Missy, when you said he's well known, can
you like what what line of work?
Speaker 4 (47:01):
Like?
Speaker 3 (47:01):
How is he a news anchor? Is he an athlete?
Is he how would we know him?
Speaker 18 (47:05):
No, let's just say I had a real fascination with
the Italian mafia in my twenties. So he's his family
is one of the original crime families.
Speaker 2 (47:15):
Yeah, when I was a bad boy everybody but no, yeah.
Speaker 4 (47:18):
I was really into that and then I married a nice,
nice guy.
Speaker 24 (47:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (47:23):
No, If I said his name, he is.
Speaker 18 (47:25):
He's one of the family. Is one of the original
crime families New York.
Speaker 3 (47:29):
So no, no, don't say his name please. I thought
I thought you meant I thought you meant public eye,
like a celebrity, like as far as an athlete or
something like that.
Speaker 18 (47:36):
When you say, I think in his mind he was.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
No, and it doesn't matter. I don't want you to
say his name because, uh, I don't want them to
kill Rich. Okay, I gotcha.
Speaker 4 (47:47):
Okay, keep it to myself.
Speaker 3 (47:48):
Thanks for calling in, Missy. Thank you so much for listening.
Speaker 4 (47:51):
Thanks.
Speaker 3 (47:51):
Okay, if you have any other ones, shoots a call
eight seven seven nine four seven or DM John J. Vaness.
It's John Jay and Rich eats the John Jay and
Rich radio program.
Speaker 2 (48:03):
Two names, four hosts, and a whole lot of fun.
He eats John Jay and Rich.
Speaker 3 (48:09):
Okay, So I'm gott to tell you guy, something happened
to me yesterday, I was a guest on a podcast.
I think I'm a great guest apparently because I'm on
a lot of podcasts as a guest. Right, so this
was a doctor, doctor Rubin. I've talked about him on
the air before. Right, He's a he's a cancer doctor. Uh,
I don't think they like to be called that. What
do you call it? Oncologists? Maybe? Yeah, nature path on collegist.
Great guy, just a great guy. And I've told you
(48:30):
guys before about him where I feel like that he
could like cure cancer, you know what I mean, Like
I'm metabolized to say that, say that, you can't say that.
But he's got like him and his organization have like
a seventy percent cur rate. And I've never really got
to sit down and talk to him. I've had dinner
with him before, but it was with a group of people.
So I'm doing the podcast with him and during the podcast,
(48:51):
you know, I kind of like started asking a million
questions too. And he has his office is one of
the only if the only one ever heard of it?
EMF friendly. Do you guys know what that is?
Speaker 2 (49:02):
That's isn't that the Bandit It unbelievable.
Speaker 13 (49:05):
That's EMF. Isn't that like something like radio frequency?
Speaker 21 (49:09):
Like don't they say like if if there's like some
sort of attack on the grid, you have to protect
the EMFs.
Speaker 3 (49:15):
Well, like the EMFs like what comes off your phone
off like car batteries all.
Speaker 13 (49:19):
Yeah, like it won't work. You can attack the EMFs
or something like that.
Speaker 3 (49:22):
So he is like, your if your cell phone is
projecting EMFs stuff, there' stuff in the in the atmosphere
and all this stuff and I don't have the background
to give you guys what it is, but he was.
So what he showed me was there's this product and
it's like the size of a credit card and he
has them all over his offices like magnets that no,
they're just like picture of credit card and it's just
and it just you said it somewhere in the room
and it clears the EMF from the room. And he
(49:45):
has them up on the ceiling everywhere. So there's no
whatever EMF is, it's whatever that frequency.
Speaker 2 (49:50):
It's like I know it's bad and well I've heard
but that like brain cancer is up because of cell
phone message like some like eight cell phones electro motive for.
Speaker 21 (50:00):
That's why they tell you not to sleep next to
your cell phone.
Speaker 3 (50:02):
Yes, yes, and they also tell you. He says. One
of the biggest ones is I thought it was electric cars,
and it is electric cars, but only he said, do
not be in the car when you're charging the car.
Speaker 13 (50:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 21 (50:12):
Oh yeah, that's like super dangerous, like the amount of radiation,
it's insane.
Speaker 3 (50:16):
So we're talking and he starts to tell me, and
I go, man, he shows me these things. I go, gosh,
I buy these things in a second, you know, to
get them. So anyway, I a He also had on
an EMF necklace.
Speaker 2 (50:28):
You know what I thought, I saw a necklace on
you today, jewelry.
Speaker 9 (50:33):
Wait, the only thing I noticed was the vest that
you were wearing in your interview.
Speaker 3 (50:37):
That's a vest.
Speaker 9 (50:40):
It was the first thing I noticed podcast it was
a vest.
Speaker 3 (50:44):
Well, it's a wait, it's a way to vest. And
he gave me the vest. He gave me the best
about three months ago. But I haven't been able to
wear it because I because I hurt my back. You know,
I had the procedure. No, no, I hurt my back
and I didn't want to. I didn't want to wear
the vest until and then compress my spine. So this necklace.
This necklace is an EMF netlix. So what this necklace does?
It protects within forty feet around me. So you guys
(51:06):
are in the protection zone right now.
Speaker 2 (51:07):
Is that why her phones don't work? O?
Speaker 3 (51:09):
My god?
Speaker 2 (51:09):
What if that's why phones don't work? I told you guys,
Kyle's plucking in the heater. I'm sure that that's something
your necklace. You guys have screwbed with my studio.
Speaker 12 (51:22):
In the heater.
Speaker 13 (51:22):
Don't you care?
Speaker 9 (51:23):
Jake that away from us?
Speaker 2 (51:24):
Is why her phone it's all jackified because if you're
EMF necklace, so.
Speaker 3 (51:29):
He sells the'se there like you should get him. I mean,
I actually thought about getting the for everybody here for Christmas.
Speaker 13 (51:34):
What the science behind it?
Speaker 3 (51:36):
Google? Youmth I don't know.
Speaker 13 (51:37):
I just want to John, that's a huge question.
Speaker 11 (51:42):
Necklace, I know.
Speaker 3 (51:44):
And it's protecting me from EMFs. Okay, and you m
F m f.
Speaker 2 (51:49):
RS gets what some of those necklaces we can't go
in your medio.
Speaker 3 (52:00):
Sorry, I keep all mphor is away from.
Speaker 2 (52:02):
Me with this negative.
Speaker 13 (52:05):
Do they really work?
Speaker 2 (52:06):
I'm I'm glad your protect from our own technology.
Speaker 3 (52:09):
I said that because of what I do is I
like to share the information I have and then give
it out on the air. And I was like, how
can I get these to my audience? And he goes
he sells them there. Now he doesn't own the company,
he has nothing to do with the company. What do
you have? What do you look at?
Speaker 21 (52:23):
No EMF necklace blockers do not work. There's no scientific
proof they reduce electromagnetic radiation exposure. Many such products make
vague or unproving claims, and some independent tests have found
they do not measurably change radiation levels. Some studies have
also shown the perceived effect is likely due to the
placebo effect yellow journalism.
Speaker 3 (52:46):
Yellow journalists, Well.
Speaker 2 (52:47):
Right now, it looks like you're wearing the thing that
keeps iron Man alive.
Speaker 3 (52:52):
If you want to get one, and I'm wearing one,
and I'm gonna and I'm gonna buy all those things
from my house. You can get them from him this
Google doctor Rubin or he gave me the Oh, the
company name is called Okay Aries, like when you're doing
a horoscope aries tech tech dot com. You can buy
these things and I and then I said, because everyone
always asks for a promo code, I go, is there
a code or something?
Speaker 4 (53:13):
Hold on.
Speaker 3 (53:13):
I'm gonna tell you this is real quick, okay. Oh yeah,
n s E m F is a promo code. I
don't know if that's gonna give you a deal or not.
And the necklace I have is called the flex because
I'm flexing. You should, yeah, Aries te aries tech dot
com and I don't if you google what you found there, Kyle,
can you google something different.
Speaker 17 (53:35):
Like.
Speaker 13 (53:37):
Something different?
Speaker 3 (53:38):
It says it works because you know you can say
conspiracy theories like you say it doesn't work. Because this guy,
this doctor, he knows his stuff. I believe in one
hundred percent anyway. So I wore the vest. He gave
me the weighted vest, and I did the podcast. I
posted some pictures of me in the weighted vest, and uh,
and I was gonna I was gonna wear. I didn't
want to come in and tell you with the vest
and the necklace. I thought it was too much for you. Guys.
Speaker 2 (53:57):
We're not ready for the truth yet.
Speaker 3 (53:59):
So tomorrow sorrow, I will be wearing my vest.
Speaker 2 (54:02):
Please please do that.
Speaker 3 (54:03):
I wore the vest. I wore the vest for three
hours yesterday, and when I took it off, I feel
like I could run a marathon. It's a twelve pound vest.
My back's heeled.
Speaker 4 (54:12):
Now.
Speaker 3 (54:12):
I just didn't want to wear it when he gave me.
When he gave me the vest, I was going to
Mexico to get the thing. The injections of my spine.
Speaker 2 (54:17):
You are so close to just living in a bubble,
just a little like a bubble.
Speaker 3 (54:21):
Boy. Hold on, let me put you and that first
thing get away from it, all right?
Speaker 9 (54:29):
Anyway, you guys are really funny.
Speaker 1 (54:36):
In the eternal battle of morning show supremacy, we are
one of them.
Speaker 3 (54:44):
It's John Jay and Rich one four seven Kiss FM,
John Jay and Rich Nevea. Hello, Hi, Hi, I heard
you just called us. You need advice.
Speaker 4 (54:53):
I have two different problems.
Speaker 22 (54:56):
So Number one, I have this friend who I don't
know what to do. I don't know whether I should
stop being her friend or set boundaries with her because
every time I say anything to a guy, talk to
a guy, call a guy hot, or date anybody, she
sweeps in and talks to them and tries to date
them and stuff.
Speaker 4 (55:14):
And I don't know what to do about that problem.
Speaker 3 (55:17):
Okay, what's the other problem.
Speaker 22 (55:19):
The other problem is I have this problem with my
mom or we're arguing over my little sister, And so
my little sister is allergic to bananas, but my little
my mom thinks that she could just like mash the
bananas up and like still feed them to her and
it will make her stop being allergic.
Speaker 3 (55:38):
Oh, I would think you probably you have to consult
the doctor for that one. Yeah, I don't know that.
Speaker 13 (55:42):
I don't think you want our advice on that one.
Speaker 3 (55:44):
But the other one, the friend, I think I think
that's a very common situation. Have you guys Kyle Payne
been through something like that?
Speaker 9 (55:51):
Oh yeah, I've been there, and give her some advice.
Speaker 11 (55:53):
Well in your situation, I well, I guess if I'm
putting yourself in my shoes, like what happened with me.
I had a best friend for a really long time,
like from the time we were like in the fourth
grade up until we were in high school, and she
was very much like that to the.
Speaker 9 (56:06):
Point where like I was like, this is kind of weird.
Speaker 11 (56:09):
My mom would point it out and I would be like, no,
like it's nothing, Like it's nothing.
Speaker 9 (56:14):
And then she ended up sleeping with my boyfriend. So
at that point I was kind of.
Speaker 11 (56:20):
Like, oh wait, everyone was right, and I put as shit,
these I should have put these boundaries up, but I
a'll now boil it down now to like my age,
where I'm like, okay, she had daddy issues for one
for two she I mean it got to a point
where I was like, do you want to be me?
Like why are you trying to date every single person
that I'm talking to? But I think I think that's
(56:42):
completely is she never really had like long term friends
or anything like that. And to me, if I went back,
I would just keep, you know, a healthy distance because
we had so much fun. But then again, like she
stabbed me in the back, tell.
Speaker 3 (56:53):
Us about your friend. Does she have a good relationship
with her dad?
Speaker 16 (56:56):
No?
Speaker 4 (56:57):
Right now?
Speaker 22 (57:00):
And I feel like I've like I've like tried to
set boundaries. Like I was dating with one guy and
she kept like flirting with him, and when she came
over to my house and he was there, she would like,
we're kind of revealing stuff, and I like would ask
her not to, and like I would put it really respectfully,
and she would always be like, oh, I'm just having fun,
Like I don't even notice he's there when she spends
(57:21):
like the whole.
Speaker 4 (57:21):
Time flirting with him that I would like to have.
Speaker 3 (57:25):
Why is your dad in prison? What do you do?
Speaker 22 (57:27):
I'm pretty sure he did drugs and so he ended
up stealing from his mom and pulled a gun on her.
Speaker 9 (57:35):
Oh that's tough.
Speaker 11 (57:38):
And plus like girls, I mean sometimes like when they
can be so men centric, it's like, Okay, there's probably
a lot of like internal healing that has to happen,
and then you know, maybe you could revisit that friendship.
Speaker 9 (57:49):
But if I was you, I would not be friends
with them.
Speaker 13 (57:51):
I would run.
Speaker 9 (57:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (57:52):
Yeah, did we give you good advice? Did that help
you at all?
Speaker 22 (57:55):
Yeah? Actually, I think I'm gonna maybe try and set
boundaries like one more time, like really clear boundaries, and
if she doesn't follow them, I think I'm going to
tell her we need a break.
Speaker 2 (58:04):
That's fair. Where shot?
Speaker 3 (58:05):
Where are you right now?
Speaker 22 (58:07):
We are walking? I'm walking right now?
Speaker 3 (58:10):
Who's we?
Speaker 22 (58:11):
Me and my boyfriend?
Speaker 3 (58:12):
Oh? So does your friend try to hit on your boyfriend?
Speaker 17 (58:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 22 (58:16):
Dang?
Speaker 3 (58:16):
What's he saying about it? What does he notice it?
Speaker 4 (58:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (58:20):
What's your boyfriend's name?
Speaker 17 (58:22):
Kyle?
Speaker 22 (58:23):
Brogs ran.
Speaker 3 (58:30):
Like away from you because you thought it was gonna
put him on the phone or something happened. She's going
to pull a child out of a burning car.
Speaker 22 (58:39):
I don't know, he doesn't. He's not very confrontational.
Speaker 3 (58:43):
Oh boy, wanted to talk to him.
Speaker 13 (58:44):
I thought, he doesn't want to talk to us, that's
why he ran away.
Speaker 3 (58:48):
I wanted to talk to him. Put him on the phone.
Can we talk to him or no? Hold on, let
me see.
Speaker 8 (58:52):

Speaker 22 (58:55):
He shook his head and cooked rubbing.
Speaker 3 (59:00):
That's all right, Wow, that's I think that's interesting, though,
Why do you want to talk because your friend's hitting
on him and he's probably.

her really far away.
Speaker 3 (59:11):
You tell him you better keep running, Kyle, keep running.
Speaker 22 (59:16):

me to just stop inviting her over when he's over.
Should make him feel entirely so uncomfortable.
Speaker 3 (59:26):
How far away? How far away is your boyfriend?
Speaker 14 (59:28):
