Speaker 1 (00:00):
Shoot us at tax text JJR whatever's on your mind
to nine six eight nine three. You know, you can
reach us via email. You can reach us via text.
You can reach us via social media by DM or
PM Private message or direct message and all the social
media apps. And also you guys, you can reach us

(00:23):
by sending us a letter sent by the United States
Post Office. I bring this up because we got one.
We got this letter and I was sitting here in
front of me this morning when I walked in. It's
so nice. It says to John J. Rich, Kyle, Peyton,
Nick and Dylan, and it's this beautifully written letter. And
the woman that wrote the letter. I asked Dylan to

(00:44):
get her on the phone because I'm so blown away
by this letter. Shawna, Hi, everybody, h what a wonderful letter.
What made you write a letter? Who writes letters nowadays?

Speaker 2 (00:56):
I know it's such a it's such a forgotten beauty thing.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Yeah it is.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
Well, you know, it's funny because it's hard to find
the address too to send it. And I was like,
I have to find this, but you know, I just
I've had such a blessed year and you guys have
been such a part of it. Not only did you
know I get to go enjoy a couple of concerts
by calling in, but I listened to you guys every
single morning, and some days are harder than others. And

(01:23):
I just think you guys put such a smile and
warmth into the world. And I just wanted to let
each of you know just how impactful you are. And
I just I think that you probably go home at
the end of the day and hope and wish that
you've made a difference in people's lives. And I just
wanted you guys to know that you do well.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
But a letter, a letter like I would just I'm
so likely let's just say this was I'm going to
make up a year. I don't know. Let's say the
first email was sent in nineteen ninety six. We would
be going this person sent an email, Holy smokes, how'd
you do it? And you hit enter and you hit
send Like now here we are, it's like cyclical. Now
you wrote a letter. And I'm just so blown away

(02:06):
by an actual.

Speaker 5 (02:07):
Letter, because yeah, she took the time to you know,
write it out, send it, mail it. That's intentional.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
It makes an impact. Now when you get something like this, right,
It's like when you got if you get a thank
you card in the mail, like this stuff works. Like
I'm so blown. I just want to talk to you
all morning long.

Speaker 6 (02:22):
What sort of job do you do? What do you
do for a living?

Speaker 4 (02:27):
I'm actually in human resources.

Speaker 6 (02:29):
Okay, because it seemed when I was reading it, I'm like,
I hope she's a teacher because kids need to be
in your class and learn from you.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Oh well, you know, I try to apply it to
people and make sure that their experience coming into work
is purposeful and meaningful and they can leave work happy
and better than they were the day before. So you know,
that's the hope in kind of what I do on
a daily basis. And I just think right now too,
and in our world, it's there's just so much divide,

(02:58):
and I think it just takes a little bit of
humanity to the you know, come back in and tell people,
you know, you're you're seeing, you're cared about your loved
and yeah, and I just think you guys should have
hurt that. And I wanted to do something nice.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Okay, so my heart smile.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I'm reading the letter. I've read it a couple of times.
Did you didn't chat to be t this did you?
Is this like legitimate? You wrote this letter?

Speaker 4 (03:22):
I wrote this letter?

Speaker 6 (03:23):
Yes, wow, I.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Want to put this on Instagram. Soever can read it.
I like what you said about it. I like what
you said about Kyle. A breath of fresh air with
advice that's carrying and thoughtful. I literally ask myself, what
would Kyle do when I'm stuck with a parenting issue
or just struggling to figure out what to do in
the moment, what would Kyle do? That's Peyton. Your energy
pulls listers right in. Even if the on air games

(03:46):
don't always go your way, You're undefeated in positive vibes
and congratulations on your upcoming wedding. That's so nice. You
are so nice.

Speaker 7 (03:53):
Anna, Oh well, thank you.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
You guys are nice too. It's so funny. I mean,
all those things are so true. I think about when
when Peyton, you know, gets an answer wrong, and she's
just like so lovable and laughable, and I just think
that that it just I just laugh with her when
that happens, and and it is true. Like Kyle, I
think sometimes, like when you're giving advice to listeners on air,
and I'm like, what would I say?

Speaker 8 (04:18):
And then I wait. I'm like, wait, I want to
hear what Kyle says.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Oh, it's the same thing.

Speaker 8 (04:21):
Oh, Kyle's is better.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
You know, scarious.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
How long is your drive to work?

Speaker 4 (04:28):
It's about thirty five minutes. So I dropped my daughter's
off at school and then head in, so I kind
of hit a sweet spot of like right before eight
thirty and get a kind of listen to you guys all.

Speaker 7 (04:38):
The way in.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
So oh, so you're like eight to eight thirty, so
you miss out a lot on War the Roses or
second up It? Or do you listen to podcast later.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
I haven't had a chance to listen to podcasts, but
you know, every time you guys bring it up, I'm like, oh,
I need to go back and listen to that because
there's so many things that I'm missing out on inside jokes.
And I was just listening guys this morning when you're
doing you know, the game with the really clever game
that that was put together on the prostly the Snowman,
and I was just like, oh my gosh, they're so clever.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
So yeah, that's Nick. Nick is very clever.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
He's so funny. I don't never get his shirt that says,
uh punk rock and miss Rachel.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
You know what, if I was, if I was a
critique your letter, and if I was a teacher and
I had a red pen, you misspelled Nick's name Nick
is and I see not an I c k.

Speaker 9 (05:28):
Shame on you, John, stop it.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
I went back to social media and made sure I
selld Peyton's name wrong. And I didn't know, John Jay,
if you had a space between your two names, so
I directed that. But I didn't even think that that
Nick would be wrong.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
You know what, And Dylan's name is spelled wrong, shame
on you.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Dylan's unique spelling. I don't even know.

Speaker 9 (05:50):
If I it's l.

Speaker 10 (05:52):
I think.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
It's still Lan.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Yeah, we just called Dylan. She's She's a big deal.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Shawna, thank you so much for the letter that so
I'm sorry that we're just so we're so blown away
by the letter we had to call you.

Speaker 8 (06:08):
Oh good, I'm so glad.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
I'm so glad you guys got it, and I wish
you a blessed holiday season and I'll continue listening forever
for life.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Can somebody get this frame and we can hang it
up here. We're so stupid. We all excited about the letter.

To WHOA look at that?

Speaker 1 (06:59):
That's so nice. We're gonna her Christmas card up there too,
and her address. He's kidding. Merry Christmas, John Jay and Rich.
It's the John Jay and Rich Christmas Wish. It's John
JAYE Rich. Today's Christmas Wish. It's happening in Colorado Springs. Miriam,
good morning, good morning. Tell us a little bit about Andra.

Speaker 8 (07:16):
Andra is an incredible woman. I met her a couple
of years ago. She was referred to me by a
mutual friend as a voice student. I'm a voice teacher
and yeah, and so she was having difficulty with some
stuff with her singing voice. And she shared a lot
of her story and as we went on with a

(07:38):
student teacher relationship, we ended up really clicking and becoming
really close friends. And Andrew's story has been quite challenging
over the years. She has two boys who have autism,
both of whom I've also taught singing too at one
point or another. And she's just she is one of

(08:00):
the most amazing women I've ever known, with the biggest heart.
She sees people as inherently good, and she's just her
voice is incredible, she's a brilliant performer. She's just one
of the kindest hearted human beings has ever had the pleasure.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Well, well, let's get her on the phone. Then let's
try to grant this wish for her. All right, so
we're gonna call it. We're gonna call her right now.

Speaker 6 (08:27):
Hello. Hi, is Andrew there? Please?

Speaker 7 (08:30):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (08:31):
This is Andra.

Speaker 6 (08:32):
Hey Andrew, It's John Jay and Rich. We're wondering if
we could put you on the radio with us for
just a moment.

Speaker 12 (08:37):
Please sure, can you hear us?

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Okay? Yes, okay? Good? You know Miriam, your friend Miriam. Yes,
she wrote us a letter about you, and we were
so touched by it we asked her to read the
letter to on the radio. Do you have a minute, Yeah, Miriam,
are you there?

Speaker 12 (09:00):
Hi?

Speaker 8 (09:00):
Andra?

Speaker 7 (09:01):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Maria, So whenever you're ready.

Speaker 8 (09:06):
Okay, Dear John, Jay, and Rich, I am writing to
nominate my dear friend and former student, Andra Birch for
a Christmas wish. I met Andra a couple of years
ago when she first came to my voice studio. She
has one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard,
but it is her heart, her unwavering kindness, and her

(09:26):
resilience that have made her not just a student but
one of my dearest friends. Andre is the full time
caregiver to her two sons, Alan, who's twenty one, and
thirteen year old Zach. Both boys have autism and need
constant support, therapy, and structure. Because their needs are so great,
Andrew is unable to work outside the home. Recently, Medicaid

(09:49):
cut her caregiving hours, and at the same time, her hasband, Dave,
lost his job during the government shutdown. Practically overnight, their
family's income dropped by more than two thirds. Despite these
overwhelming challenges, Andra and Dave continue to care for others.
They help support Dave's mother, and now Dave's father has

(10:09):
become gravely ill. Dave needs to travel to be with him,
but Andra cannot afford to go. If she steps away
from caregiving in Colorado for even a moment, she won't
get paid. She's torn between the people she loves, caring
more than anyone should ever have to, yet she continues
to give everything she has. Their family is exhausted, frightened,

(10:29):
and doing everything they can to stay afloat. I'm hoping
with all my heart that a Christmas wish can bring
them some light, relief and hope this holiday season. They
desperately need it and they deeply deserve it. Thank you
for considering them, Miriam.

Speaker 13 (10:46):
That is beautiful.

Speaker 8 (10:49):
I love you so much.

Speaker 12 (10:51):
They believe you.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Andrew. We are going to grant you a Christmas wish.

Speaker 14 (11:00):
Okay, thank you.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
So we have some stuff we like to give you
and your family. Okay, for Alan, your son, Yeah, we'd

with an AMP, digital tuner, strings, and more.

Speaker 8 (14:11):
I think up right now.

Speaker 6 (14:12):
I was down the street.

Speaker 12 (14:14):
I didn't want to like startle you. Okay, I'm here, Yeah,

I think every good boy just fine, pretty good boy?

Speaker 16 (14:41):

Speaker 4 (14:47):
Okay, one moment, someone's at the door.

Speaker 16 (14:51):

Oh everyone gets crazy, It's okay.

Speaker 10 (15:28):
It's the point.

Speaker 17 (15:30):

Speaker 7 (15:32):
How are you good? Yes?

Speaker 14 (15:35):
Yes, it's nice, it's rich, it's not forezing.

Speaker 12 (15:37):
Yeah, I mean it's cold.

Speaker 15 (15:38):

Merry Christmas, you guys, Merry Christmas.

Speaker 14 (15:56):
Oh my goodness, thank you.

Speaker 8 (15:59):
I love you girls.

Speaker 18 (16:01):
Christmas wish Hey dummy, if you get free roses, it's
a trap.

Speaker 9 (16:06):
Woar of the Roses starts right now on John Jay
and Ridge.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
Four to seven. Kiss fan, it's John Jay and Rich.
We're getting ready for War of the Roses. We've got
to say. Sean's got a question real quick, Sean, what's up?
Good morning? You're on here.

Speaker 17 (16:18):
Yeah, I was calling in about Rich's question he had
on a minute to win it.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
Okay.

Speaker 17 (16:22):
It was like, I think to last Tuesday, you had
a question about how many calories are in a pound?

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Yeah, pound of what?

Speaker 6 (16:31):
I mean, it's supposed to be body fat. But I
guess I assume that people knew that that's what we're
talking about.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
But I mean, he's got a point because you can't
assume that because some people are like a pound of butter,
a pound of celery, a pound of it would be different.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Then God, you stupid man. You ruling the game. Rich.

Speaker 17 (16:47):
Oh, I googled it and it says like thirty five
hundred four thousand calories and fat in.

Speaker 6 (16:53):
A pounds of what? What kind of fat?

Speaker 13 (16:55):
Sean?

Speaker 6 (16:56):
What kind of fat?

Speaker 1 (16:57):
Body fat? Yeah?

Speaker 17 (16:59):
Body fat?

Speaker 6 (17:00):
Okay, So how did you look it up? If they
didn't know what I was talking about?

Speaker 7 (17:03):
What you said?

Speaker 17 (17:03):
Your answer was like three hundred and fifty calories, So
you werelready close.

Speaker 6 (17:09):
But she wasn't either.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
She had like one something, you know, the funny stay.
She was a he because the guy that plays message me,
can I play again? Since everyone's calling about the calori day,
give it ah ight, Sean, thanks for calling me, dude.
We appreciate you listening. All right, guys, they'll get them
you too. So funny Kennedy, good morning. You are here
for War of the Roses? Am I right?

Speaker 10 (17:28):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (17:29):
You think boyfriend or husband's cheating on me? Who do
you think? Okay? And why do you think that? Welcome
to the show. What's your story?

Speaker 7 (17:36):
So I'm basically calling because I'm I'm done pretending nothing
is going on. I think I think my husband's chading
on me, and it's with my best friend slash next
door neighbor. And that's probably sound paranoid, but but you
hear me out. Over the last year, I've noticed them

(17:57):
getting way too close. They they basically text all day.
They text each other all day about random little things.
They text school updates, memes, jokes, silly stuff like that.
That's going on in the neighborhood. And I didn't think
much of it at first because we're all we're all cool.

(18:18):
She has a husband, our kids go to the same school.
We we did Halloween together, we do holidays together, so
we're basically family friends. But but lately I've been I've
been finding her stuff at my house.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
I found.

Speaker 7 (18:34):
I found sunglasses, Stanley Cup hoodie.

Speaker 9 (18:38):
The other day, a hockey player.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
Sports jokes, my bad, oh a cup like that? Kyle
has one? Oh not the trophy from winning Stanley Cup.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
I am, I am because your head hat trick.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
Okay, go ahead, my apologies. I didn't mean there. I'm sorry,
but I did.

Speaker 7 (19:03):
So all these things, She's just accidentally leaving them behind
when she pops by when I'm not there.

Speaker 6 (19:11):
And why is she popping by when you're not there?

Speaker 8 (19:15):
That's a great question she has.

Speaker 7 (19:18):
I don't know. Actually, I think we should definitely ask him.
But I've been just catching that this has been happening
when I'm not there, So I'm assuming she's just coming
to say hi or do something even more conniving. I
don't know, but it's just been happening a lot more often,

(19:40):
and there's just no way that it's just a coincidence.
Come to think of it, I think that she's marking
her territory. I don't think I'm crazy. I know what
I'm seeing, and my God's basically screaming that something is
going on, so I just need to know the truth.
I think she's leaving here and she's sneaking in and

(20:02):
possibly sleeping with my husband while I'm at work.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
That's pretty wild. That she's married and she's leaving stuff
over your house on purpose. That's so wild.

Speaker 5 (20:09):
To mar your territory is like vicious, that's less evil.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Everything was so passionate. She literally just forgot it.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Every she forgot. Yeah, you're saying, you're saying she didn't
leave it on purpose. You're saying things were down. They'll
turn it up. They were still doing bad things.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
But maybe her husband, Oh my husan's getting home.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
I gotta go, so she forgets her standley or like,
oh my gosh, she forgets. Either way, I would I
don't think you're a paranoid.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
I would be suspicious.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
I am on your side one hundred percent. And you
know why one reason only she usednving.

Speaker 6 (20:43):
Have you thought about just for the sake of revenge,
even if you don't know if they're guilty of it,
have you thought about sleeping with her husband the neighbor,
just to you know, to make sure that's.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
What Shania Twain did.

Speaker 6 (20:53):
That's wrongs do not make a right. Do you guys
know the Shania Twain story? No, Her husband producer Mutt
Lang started sleeping with their neighbor. Their next door neighbor
and best friends, so she started sleeping with the neighbor's husband.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
Now she's married to him.

Speaker 6 (21:07):
She's married to the guy.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
Oh wow, Yeah, it's.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
All kinds of messy, Kennedy.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
What's your husband's name, James? And what's your friend's.

Speaker 7 (21:14):
Name, Kelly?

Speaker 1 (21:15):
All right, hold on the line. We're gonna do it.
All right, We're gonna call James, tell him he won
a dozen red roses and see who he sends them to.
Does he send him to his wife, Kennedy? Does he
send him to the neighbor Kelly? Exciting excitement? I mean
not for you, of course, Kennedy, but for us. All right,
hold on or the roses continues next with John Jay
and Rich.

Speaker 18 (21:33):
Oh cool, your scanner stopped. It's John Jay and Rich, John.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
Jay and Rich. We are in the middle of war
of the roses. You have, Kennedy. She thinks her husband James
is cheating on her with her best friend slash neighbor, Kelly.
They spend holidays together, Halloween together, and now in the
gossip she saw that her husband and Kelly are texting
each other, but friendly texts, right stuff? That's going around
the neighborhood and then you start seeing stuff at your

(21:57):
house that belongs to her, and now you're thinking she
marking her territory. Kyle's like, what if they're just in
the heat of passion? Is she left to still that
they're doing bad things? But we're going to find out.
Are you ready, Kennedy? Yeah, Kyle, are you ready?

Speaker 19 (22:10):
I'm ready?

Speaker 12 (22:30):
Hello?

Speaker 3 (22:31):
Hi, there is James available.

Speaker 12 (22:34):
Yeah, this is Jane Perfect.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
That's who I'm looking for. So my name is Lenny.
I'm calling with a new company. We're called J and
R Flowers. We have a really exciting promotion that you've
been chosen for.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
It's called post for Pedals.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
So basically, you get to send her most romantic bouquet
of flowers to whoever you want, really anywhere. I don't
need credit card information or anything like that, but we
do just kind of ask that you post about Jane
our flowers to give us a.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
Little love online.

Speaker 12 (22:59):
Okay, yeah, sure that sounds that sounds fun. I can
do that.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
Yeah, it's pretty awesome.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
And like I said, I don't need credit card information
or anything like that, but I will send the flowers
out with a card and I usually tell people this
is your chance to just personalize it. It is our
most romantic bouquet. We do call it our pure passion bouquet.
It's pretty gorgeous, so it kind of makes a statement
on its own. But it's your chance to just say
what you'd like to say, you know, depending on the
nature of the relationship.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
And I've kind of seen people get.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
Fun some people get flirty, some people are really passionate.
It's really just up to you what you want to
say on there, and I'm ready for that. And then
we get the message you want to write in the card,
and then I'll let you know, like exactly when they'll
be delivered.

Speaker 12 (23:35):
All right, perfect, Yeah, let's just if you can put
on the card. Can't wait to stretch with you again.
Last time wasn't long enough.

Speaker 3 (23:45):
Can't wait to stretch with you?

Speaker 12 (23:48):
Yeah, okay, Yeah, you'll do. You'll understand in a second
when I tell you who they're going, where they're going, Okay.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
Can't wait to stretch with you again. Last time wasn't
long enough? Okay. And then you want like a love
James XO XO.

Speaker 18 (24:05):
No, no, nothing like that.

Speaker 12 (24:08):
Like the person I'm sending him. They'll know that it's
from me just by that description.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Okay, so you don't even want your name on it?

Speaker 12 (24:16):
Yeah, no, my name doesn't need to be on it.
It'll be fine.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
Perfect too. Are we addressing this too?

Speaker 12 (24:22):
So if you could just send it to a place
called the Studio, that's the name of this home plate
studio that I go to. And to be honest, I
kind of want to keep this a secret, but the
owner will know who's coming from. So it's all good.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
Perfect.

Speaker 7 (24:37):
Wow, Wow are you can you right? No, Jim, I
need something with that. But I was I was just
hoping that I was paranoid.

Speaker 12 (24:46):
No, wait, Kennedy, what are you? What are you doing
on the phone?

Speaker 1 (24:50):
Wait?

Speaker 12 (24:50):
What's going on?

Speaker 7 (24:52):
Don't even try it. I can't believe what I just
tried to. One of my best friends, our neighbor, the
woman who's in my house every year day. That's who
you're sending these flowers to.

Speaker 12 (25:02):
Whoa no, no, no, no, whoa whoa Kennedy, let me listen, honey,
it is not what you think it is. Okay, I
know exactly what.

Speaker 7 (25:13):
No, no, no no, Because well I'm in the kitchen.
Good pick for this family. Well, I'm raising our kids
well clean, doing everything I can keep to keep our
home together. You're over here texting her, flirting with her,
sleeping with her, and I'm sending her flowers. That didn't
gross little message.

Speaker 12 (25:31):
Kennedy, Baby, come on, it is not like that. It's
one hundred percent not like that. This is complete.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
Hey James, James, I want to jump on lead to
what's going on. You're on the radio. You're on the
John Jay and Rich War the Roses and Kennedy What yeah, yeah,
you're on the radio, live on the radio right now.

Speaker 12 (25:47):
I'm on the Are you kidding me? Kennedy? You brought
me onto the radio for this?

Speaker 1 (25:51):
Well, she has good reason. You want to explain. Then
you're saying, no, no, no, you're not sleeping with her.
What is the story? And who's who's the manager? Who's
the owner, Kennedy of the studio?

Speaker 12 (25:58):
It's this woman named Hell. She's our friend, and she's
been helping me stretch out. I've been having these like issues,
so I've been going over to the pilates and she's
been helping me stretch out and making sure that like
I stay healthy and I say loose and fit like it's.

Speaker 5 (26:13):
Why send her flowers and what does your wife know that,
because I feel like she would have told us that
if that was the case, and she didn't say that.
All she said was that her stuff was showing up
at your house.

Speaker 12 (26:24):
Yeah, of course she knows that. Like we hang out
all the time. Like I'm very upfront with Kennedy about
the whole situation. There's nothing weird going on. I just
flowers and night flowers. She's been helping me out a
lot lately, so I figured, Hey, I'll just send you
some flowers, Like I thought that would be a nice
thing to do.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
I mean, I did say they were romantic and it's
like a pure passion bouquet. And then you're like kind
of a little suspicious, like keeping it a secret. Right,
is she stretching you like at your house? I mean,
or does she actually have like a studio that you
go to.

Speaker 12 (26:55):
I mean, sometimes she'll come over to the house and
she helps me out with that, but most of the
time I go to the studio. But like, yeah, she's
come over by the house a couple of times. Like
we're friends with each other, Like Kennedy knows her, like
we we text. I mean, she's kind of our next
door neighbors. She's our friend, like she's around us all
the time. An issue, like Kennedy has never talked to

(27:16):
me about this before. This is so weird and I'm
on the radio right now, Like, what is going on?

Speaker 9 (27:21):
Kennedy?

Speaker 5 (27:21):
Do you know that Kelly's coming over and stretching over,
stretching out your husband?

Speaker 3 (27:26):
Like do you know that?

Speaker 7 (27:26):
You know? How do you know they were stretching like that?

Speaker 8 (27:30):
I heard impact?

Speaker 12 (27:33):
Of course we're stretching. What all right?

Speaker 7 (27:35):
All right? So, but but you didn't even put her name.

Speaker 16 (27:39):
You didn't even put.

Speaker 7 (27:40):
It on there just because you didn't want to make
it obvious. Those were romantic flowers and you thought you'd experience,
I mean, a little inside joke would hide it. Let's
talk about that. You weren't being careful.

Speaker 12 (27:50):
It's no, it's not something like that. I can understand
why it looks like that. But Kennedy, can we please
get off the phone here? I don't want to be
on the radio anymore. Can we please just have a
conversation in one on one?

Speaker 1 (28:00):
Yes, yes, you can hire Yes, let me ask you this.
You're real quick. If we go around the room, what
do you guys think? I kind of like I kind of.
I think guys are stupid and I feel I don't
like the message was message stretch me anytime. I can't
wait to stretch with you again. Last time wasn't long enough.
I wouldn't.

Speaker 6 (28:15):
I wouldn't like that.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
I wouldn't send flowers and do that. I would my text. Man,
that was a great.

Speaker 12 (28:22):
And like friends for years.

Speaker 3 (28:23):
Yeah, but like you have the opportunity.

Speaker 12 (28:26):
I said, I can't wait to stretch again. It wasn't
a sexual thing.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
Yeah, but I did say they're romantic flowers, So why
wouldn't you send them to your wife?

Speaker 3 (28:33):
You know what I mean? Like, that's the whole text, and.

Speaker 12 (28:36):
He failed because they're free flowers.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
He's definitely got a girl in his romantic flowers.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
All right, So Kennedy and James, you guys need to talk. Yeah,
Kennedy real quick, your thoughts as we wrap up.

Speaker 7 (28:47):
I'm looking forward to hearing from Honey.

Speaker 6 (28:51):
Yeah, you definitely got to ask her. All right.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
Well, thank you both for going to the radio with us.
That's the War the Roses John J.

Speaker 18 (28:58):
Rich in the Eternal Battle morning show Supremacy.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
We are one of them.

Speaker 9 (29:06):
It's John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
Hey, you know how like if we really break it down,
like Kyle because is a really good singer. Yes you are,
You're really I think i've heard you. Oh you're singing.
And it's really really good and riches it a band
ache sings and I don't think I'm a good singer.
But yesterday I was watching land Man season two of
land Man, and I usually skip through. I skip through
the intro to the songs, but because sometimes I watch

(29:29):
it in the sauna, and for me to skip, I
got to get out of the son I and go
hit the iPads. So I just sit through it. And
I really really like the theme song, and and I
was humming it. And as I was a humming it,
I was like, hey, man, I think I'm a good hummer.
And I was like and I and I and I
thought I'd like to perform it for you guys. Yeah,

(29:49):
so I want you to. So I'm gonna play it.
I'm gonna do it with it. I have to do
it with it. Okay, So check out check this song out.
Check it out. Mmmm, let's just thank you. I'll see

(30:11):
that all day is what would you like.

Speaker 6 (30:13):
To come up with the band? And we do this Flier.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
The name from Landon say, let's gonna try to do
without laughing, because you guys, I love myself. I'm really
good myself. Listen now.

Speaker 6 (30:37):
You know for some reason, I know you tell, but
it's still sounds like you.

Speaker 10 (30:40):
Don't know that.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
This is a good song. Hi Cloak, and I gotta go.

Speaker 6 (31:00):
I mean, I can see you performing this coor defense
and then I just walked away.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
I need.

Speaker 6 (31:08):
Some like oil rig kind of convention. It was funny
you could go perform, and.

Speaker 1 (31:12):
I didn't think this is going to be funny. I
thought I was for you guys, and move on.

Speaker 9 (31:18):
Guws over here crying.

Speaker 6 (31:24):
I was not the I wouldn't want other songs have
the honey in them. You could add to you.

Speaker 7 (31:31):
Have to do.

Speaker 6 (31:32):
Remember even.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
Come perform at my Christmas party.

Speaker 9 (31:37):
Awesome.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
I was doing it all day, all serious.

Speaker 6 (31:49):
You guys would find it ironic. That is the only
song John J knows by Harship.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
I'm sweating that.

Speaker 6 (32:00):
Needs you care. That means you into the performance.

Speaker 1 (32:03):
No inventual be getting on stage with your brand and
doing this, play the instrument.

Speaker 6 (32:10):
I could play this just gotta be what is it.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
That's a fiddle?

Speaker 6 (32:16):
Sure?

Speaker 10 (32:17):
And then come.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
And I just.

Speaker 6 (32:23):
Oh, we'll nail, We'll dale the background, We'll nail.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
This is such a good song.

Speaker 7 (32:26):
Do you.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
I recommend you guys are watching land Man not to
skip the intro. It's only intro that I sit through
that I really really like.

Speaker 10 (32:36):
How would take this?

Speaker 6 (32:37):
Can we get like the Phoenix simphony?

Speaker 1 (32:38):
The performance? And now to hump and it's not quiet?
You hear my footsteps walk up to the microphone.

Speaker 6 (32:49):
A gentleman theme from land Man. We need a new song,
one that unites all people. Why is your phone all
bick and sparkly?

Speaker 1 (32:56):
You're talking about it, aren't you?

Speaker 6 (32:59):
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you your new national anthem.

Speaker 18 (33:04):
Mmmm.

Speaker 6 (33:13):
It's the younger the restless. Can you do this one
for me?

Speaker 7 (33:15):
No?

Speaker 1 (33:15):
This is this is.

Speaker 10 (33:18):
No no no, no, no no no.

Speaker 6 (33:24):
Remember getting question across the text network created.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
This is a missing.

Speaker 1 (33:38):
Mmm vocal range you wish for me? All right? This
is stuff? Shut up? Noah, I like sweating.

Speaker 6 (34:00):
That's the break of the week right there.

Speaker 9 (34:02):
It's the John Jay and Rich Christmas Wish.

Speaker 1 (34:05):
John Dayne Rich It's time for Christmas wish. Amanda's in
the studio. Good morning, Amanda, good morning. Tell us a
little bit about Jamie.

Speaker 20 (34:14):
Well, Jamie and I have worked together for about three
and a half years and we have definitely become work besties.
She's a single mom of three amazing kids. But during
the last few years I watched her and the kids
go through a pretty difficult situation, which thankfully they've been
able to get.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
Through, like a divorce or something, or a breakup.

Speaker 20 (34:32):
Or relationship, no relationship, okay, not positive environment for all
of that. And this is what amazes me about Jamie.
It's her ability to push through in the midst of hardship,
putting her own needs aside to do what's best for
the kids. And this is just an addition to her
being such a kind, caring person who is always there
to help others and not asking for anything in return

(34:54):
for herself. But I'm really just honored to call Jamie
a friend and watch her be Mom of the Year.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
Literally every day, where do you guys work, we'll lene
of work.

Speaker 20 (35:03):
We work for Honor Health. We are in purchasing.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
Oh is that when you work at on our Health?
Are you actually at the hospital?

Speaker 20 (35:09):
One of the hospitals We are remote most days and
then we have like an admin building that we go
to a couple times a week.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
My sister in law as we speak, is it on
our health right now? That's John Lincoln one. Okay, I
think we've got to remodel that.

Speaker 6 (35:22):
Yeah, we have to rebottel.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
It seems like a pretty old hospital. Y, I'm purchasing.
She's at the John.

Speaker 9 (35:32):
About it.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Like they're taking a person out of my sister in
law's room yesterday at the hospital and they're in a
bed and it's like the beds wider than the door,
Like I think the ceilings are kind of low. But
now the staff is phenomenal.

Speaker 20 (35:51):
Absolutely, it's a great team all around on.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
Our Health is awesome. So we're okay, well, we'll glad
you're here. Let's get her on the phone. Would see
if she has no idea your client? Okay, good, all right,
let's see.

Speaker 7 (36:19):
Hello.

Speaker 6 (36:20):
Hi is Jamie there? Please?

Speaker 12 (36:22):
This is Jamie.

Speaker 6 (36:23):
Hey Jamie, it's John, Jay and Rich. We're wondering if
you will talk to us on the radio for just
a minute. Please.

Speaker 1 (36:30):
Sure you know your friend, your coworker, Amanda, I do.
She wrote us a letter about you. We asked her
to come in the studio and read you the letter. Okay,
all right, do you have a second.

Speaker 7 (36:43):
I do.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
Okay, Well, whenever you're ready, Amanda.

Speaker 20 (36:47):
Okay, good morning, Jamie, Hey girl, all right, I said,
dear John, Jay, and Rich. I would like to nominate
my coworker and friend, Jamie. She's a single mother of three,
two preteens and one teenager, and she amazes me every
day with how hard she works to provide for her children.
Despite facing many years of financial strain and personal challenges

(37:08):
that would discourage most people, Jamie gets up each day
determined to give her kids stability. She consistently puts her
own needs last so her children can have a safe home,
meals on the table in a future to look forward to.
Money is incredibly tight for her, and Christmas is especially tough.
After paying rent, utilities, and basic necessities for three growing kids,

(37:30):
there is very little left for holiday activities, gifts, or
anything extra. Even then, Jamie somehow finds a way to
make her kids feel loved and supported. But I know
how much she quietly sacrifices behind the scenes. Jamie is
one of the most humble and carrying people I've ever known.
She goes out of her way to help coworkers, neighbors
and friends, and her kids reflect that same resilience ingratitude.

(37:53):
Receiving this Christmas wish would bring so much joy and
relief to Jamie, her kids, and I would love to
see them get an extra special surprise this holiday, sees it.

Speaker 4 (38:09):
I love you, I love you.

Speaker 1 (38:12):

Speaker 1 (49:43):
That was one of the most clever games we've ever played.
Wait wait to go, Nick that there's nobody in the
world that has ever played that game before, nobody. There's
probably be people around the country now other radio shows
playing that game tomorrow. But that was very, very unique.
I gotta tell you you have a very interesting mind.

Speaker 18 (50:01):
The next segment we're going to do is called second
Date Update because that's what we're going to try and
get and that's what the bit is called.

Speaker 9 (50:09):
Second Date Update. Starts right now on John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 1 (50:13):
One O four seven Kiss m John Jay and Rich
Time for Second Date Update. Donna went out with someone,
thought she had a great time, and now she's getting
ghosted him or right, Donna.

Speaker 16 (50:23):
Yeah, I mean, honestly, I'm a little embarrassed even be
calling you guys, because I just I know, I went,
I met this guy a couple of weeks ago. There
was you know, we were having drinks and eating and
chatting and having so much fun, like it just fell
great and you know, ended up back at his plate,

(50:43):
and you know, we had a great time, and I
just I thought we clicked and it was so much fun.
And then you know, the next day he kissed me
goodbye when I was leaving, but there was no like, hey,
I have such a good time too, would love to
see you again, you know, And I'm not expecting anything

(51:05):
serious obviously, just even if it was super casual. I
just really liked him and thought the vibes were there.
But I, you know, get home and I don't get
like a age you make it home, text or you know,
anything later, no snapchat, no anything. And I don't know.
I'm kind of boggled here, like I just don't understand.

(51:29):
I really thought the vibes were there, So I don't know,
I'm really confused, and I kind of would like to
kind of find out what's going on just to ease
my brain.

Speaker 1 (51:40):
How you guys, how'd you guys meet?

Speaker 16 (51:43):
Honestly, we were out in the wild, like I was
just out with some friends. He was out with some
friends at a bar, and we just kind of clicked
very natural. And so again that's why I'm like, huh,
this is really really weird. We seem to click very
early on.

Speaker 5 (52:03):
I feel like meeting someone out in the wild is
like so rare nowadays. I'm really rooting for you, Like
I really hope it's just like this huge misunderstanding.

Speaker 16 (52:10):
I know me too, Like I really hope you can
help me with this because I I have no idea
how to do this.

Speaker 2 (52:17):
I'm like worried for you though, because because you're meeting
out in the wild, like you almost wonder if like
he's got this whole separate life and it was just
a spontaneous thing for him, like there was chemistry and
then that like he's got to go back to his
wife and kids, his girlfriend at his door or you
know what I mean, Like, oh god, I worry about
that because it's like it is kind of rare, Like

(52:38):
I feel like now it's almost like relationships and like
it's more it's more pre planned.

Speaker 1 (52:44):
Like he has a like rich I used to have
a boss that had an extra house and he called
it the stab and cabin.

Speaker 2 (52:52):
Oh's so gross, I know.

Speaker 1 (52:55):
So it's like what if this guy's married and he
has an extra place and apartment and that's where you
at Devin. All right, Donna, what's his name? We call
Anthony find out why he's blowing you off. Second Date
Updates continues next with John Jane Rich.

Speaker 9 (53:12):
In the eternal battle of morning show supremacy.

Speaker 1 (53:16):
We are one of them.

Speaker 9 (53:20):
It's John Jay and Rich.

Speaker 1 (53:21):
We are in the middle of Second Date Update. You
got Donna and Anthony.

Speaker 6 (53:25):
Donna was wishing for a boo this Christmas, and she
got one, but he has disappeared, like the ghost of
Christmas past. Even though they had a little kissing underneath
the missiletoe, he is nowhere to be found. What happened
to Donna and her lovely boyfriend to be Anthony? We

(53:47):
shall find out.

Speaker 1 (53:49):
That was a pretty good recaping, right Donna. That sounds
that he hit everything.

Speaker 16 (53:51):
Right there, right, Yeah, that was pretty much hid in
a nutshell.

Speaker 1 (53:56):
Okay, let's call Anthony. How long ago was his date?

Speaker 16 (53:59):
By the way, I want to say, it was like
a little over a week ago, maybe two weeks.

Speaker 1 (54:04):
All right, we're calling Anthony right now.

Speaker 5 (54:12):
Hey is this Anthony. Hey, my name's Peyton. I'm with
John Jaye Rich and we just wanted to talk to
you on the radio really quickly.

Speaker 3 (54:20):
If you got some time.

Speaker 1 (54:22):
Okay, all right, So you're on the radio, Anthony the Noise.
So we took a call from a woman that said,
you're amazing. She went on a date with you. She
had an amazing time, a fantastic time. Now she said,
you're blowing her off. And we were confused because she

(54:43):
did spend the night and so we were like, well,
that's a good sign, and you kissed her goodbye. So
we're calling you to get the dish. We're talking about.

Speaker 13 (54:51):
Donna, talking about Donna.

Speaker 1 (54:53):
Donna, Yeah, oh, Donna and her why not?

Speaker 13 (54:58):
Well, what did she tell you? She told you that,
uh we hung out and uh stayed the night and stuff.

Speaker 1 (55:04):
Yeah, had you kissed her good bye in the morning?

Speaker 13 (55:07):
Yeah, yeah, that was me playing cool. When I was asleep.

Speaker 1 (55:12):
She straight up stole my car.

Speaker 13 (55:15):
Like I'm not, I'm not exaggerating, I'm not.

Speaker 7 (55:18):
It's not code.

Speaker 13 (55:19):
She took my keys off of my counter and she
took my car. I got cameras around my house. There's
the motion detective cameras, and apparently she drove around the
corner to windcoat because I found a bunch of bags
at the side of the side of my wall overnight
that she had hid there thinking I wouldn't notice, okay,

(55:41):
and she.

Speaker 3 (55:41):
Brought the car back and then got back into bed
with you.

Speaker 1 (55:45):
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 13 (55:46):
And I get up and on my phone is blowing up.
I have like twenty notifications going down my phone for
my little you know, a little easycam security system, and
I'm like, what the hell's going on here?

Speaker 1 (56:00):
I go on it.

Speaker 13 (56:01):
I got all this little all these little videos of
her creeping out of the house, getting into my vehicles,
stealing my literally stealing my car.

Speaker 3 (56:10):
She borrowed it, she did bring it back, and she
was making her time.

Speaker 16 (56:20):
Okay, go ahead, yeah, Anthony.

Speaker 13 (56:23):
I so you guys are all in the same space together.

Speaker 16 (56:30):
I've been listening the whole time, and I just just
hearing you talk about it. I I don't even know
what to say. I just I want to explain myself
because I know exactly how this sounds. And I'm so sorry.
I I I lost my car a few months ago,
and it's been really hard. And that's not an excuse,

(56:52):
I know, I just it just was this random.

Speaker 13 (56:56):
You're admitting, you're admitting that you took you took my
car in the middle of the night.

Speaker 16 (57:00):
I can't deny it, of course, I know that I
can't and I just want.

Speaker 13 (57:05):
I know you can't deny because I have literally.

Speaker 16 (57:09):
You, I know, and I just like I like you
so much, and I didn't mean anything. I swear to God,
I was never going to take it. I brought it back.
I was just so desperate. I needed to get a
few things before going to work, and Uber is so
crazy expensive. And I'm so sorry. I swear, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 8 (57:32):
I really like you.

Speaker 16 (57:33):
I just panish.

Speaker 7 (57:34):
I don't understand.

Speaker 13 (57:35):
I don't understand why you wouldn't ask me, Why why
you wouldn't say, this is not.

Speaker 1 (57:43):
My girlfriend.

Speaker 13 (57:44):
Guys, I don't know if.

Speaker 7 (57:45):
You guys are realizing it's not somebody that.

Speaker 13 (57:47):
I just a just a couple of relationship with this.

Speaker 6 (57:53):
Did you drive her home? Did you drive her home?

Speaker 13 (57:56):
She ubered home?

Speaker 6 (57:58):
Oh okay, so you hit the groceries outside and then
loaded them up on the Uber and then went home.
I was thinking, why not just you know, why I
have the conversation, Why not have your guide drive?

Speaker 4 (58:08):
It was just so I know this.

Speaker 16 (58:10):
Doesn't make any sense. I know how this sounds. I
didn't know what to do. I was so flustered, and
I panicked, and I just I don't know where I
was at.

Speaker 7 (58:19):
I was just it's been so old.

Speaker 13 (58:22):
You understand, you understand that we're talking about groceries, we're
talking about some things you say you need for an apartment.
But do you but do you understand what it represents
at a trust level of Like you're saying that you
panicked over something like this. So how is it that
a person would want to build a relationship with somebody

(58:44):
who describes stealing a car for some groceries while they're
spending the night as like it's just like I imagine
raising the stakes.

Speaker 1 (58:55):
I know, I know, I know.

Speaker 13 (58:56):
I mean, that's just something down the road where it's like, oh,
I didn't mean to you.

Speaker 6 (59:00):
I was emotionally upset and correct it to borrow, to borrow, yeah,
bring it back.

Speaker 7 (59:08):
She wasn't.

Speaker 6 (59:09):
She'd like take off and never come back with your car.
You were asleep. She's like, I need to get some groceries.
I'll just do that while he's sleeping, and then and
then on uber home.

Speaker 1 (59:18):
I mean, you guys have been charmed.

Speaker 13 (59:19):
I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 6 (59:20):
Yeah, she didn't be anything by it.

Speaker 1 (59:21):
Well, actually, I'm trying to understand that because I misunderstood somethings. So,
so Dona walked me through this. So you he was asleep,
you took his car, You went to the grocery store.
You went to the grocery store. You didn't get groceries
for you and Anthony. You got groceries for yourself. Yeah,
and you hid them outside.

Speaker 7 (59:38):
Yeah, and I didn't want him to know.

Speaker 1 (59:40):
Okay, but then you went and got back into bed
with him. Yeah, and then you guys fooled around, kissed
him goodbye. Then you called an uber and grabbed your
groceries from outside and got in the uber, and the
uber took you home.

Speaker 16 (59:53):
Yeah, but he didn't he didn't see me. Like literally,
as soon as we said goodbye, he like closed the door,
and that's when I grabbed the groceries and from outside.

Speaker 1 (01:00:03):
I think that's such an interesting I'm trying to understand.

Speaker 10 (01:00:08):
Dude.

Speaker 1 (01:00:09):
Dude, I get it. I think you're totally right.

Speaker 6 (01:00:12):
I think, like you said, she's not your girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (01:00:14):
I get it. But I'm just trying understand her methodology
of like like the whole time she's with you, she
has anxiety that she doesn't have whatever grocery she needs,
like you know, like like that's in the back of
her mind that she's got to like to wake up
at two o'clock in the morning and go walk into
the cat kitchen, grab the car keys, go grab your car.
That's so creepy, that's so wild.

Speaker 7 (01:00:36):
I know how it sounds.

Speaker 16 (01:00:37):
I'm so I know.

Speaker 13 (01:00:39):
It's not how it sounds how it is. It's it's
not like you know, you made a weird decision in
a moment. This this you got into it. You took
the keys off of my counter, that takes.

Speaker 7 (01:00:55):
You go into my car, you drive, you shop like
this is all planned out.

Speaker 13 (01:01:00):
Then you take and you hide the groceries. That is
planned out.

Speaker 11 (01:01:04):
That is not you going.

Speaker 13 (01:01:06):
Oh I I in the moment, I was confused. No,
you deliberately like emotions, you can.

Speaker 3 (01:01:14):
Break something down. I would be scared to state him.

Speaker 6 (01:01:16):
But still, why not Anthony? Just say why didn't you
ask him? You ended up hitting it off with the
girl and you you guys hooked up over and I
why not offer to drive her home? Why you like
putting an uber on her like, hey, wait, a good time.
You didn't know she's still your car at that point?
Why not offer to drive her home?

Speaker 1 (01:01:35):
Guy?

Speaker 13 (01:01:35):
I saw the security footage before I gave her, you
know what, on my bad character, I gave her a
fraudulent kiss goodbye. I saw the notification I had gotten up.
I was going to make some breakfast. I was going
to be a little sweety pie. And then I said,
imagine the shock. I'm like, wait, what that's her? What

(01:01:57):
that's my car? And I was like about and I said,
you know what, I'm gonna calm down. I'm not even
going to confront her because I don't even.

Speaker 11 (01:02:03):
Know her that well.

Speaker 1 (01:02:05):
So yeah, no, I'm with you one hundred percent. I
think it's shady shady, shady shady scared her out. Yeah,
And that's it because then if you were to get
into relationship with her, you have no idea the whole
other life. She could have your bags.

Speaker 10 (01:02:19):
Right.

Speaker 13 (01:02:22):
You go on a trip to Miami and she's gone
for two you know, like for a day, and she's like,
oh this happened that. I mean, you're like, I don't
trust the words you're saying. You know, I can't believe
anything you said. Unless now if I didn't capture on
my obviously, she called you guys, and she did tell
you that she did some weird stuff that's true.

Speaker 1 (01:02:38):
She didn't. She left that out too, Donna. Did you
think nobody would get it out?

Speaker 13 (01:02:43):
She coulna be like, I might have messed up. I
think I borrowed his car, and I might you know, then, no,
she didn't tell you guys, she was playing little miss innocence.

Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
Borrowed my car? Come on?

Speaker 3 (01:02:52):
And she did bring it back.

Speaker 1 (01:02:55):
Yeah, you know you can. It's amusing to me that she.

Speaker 6 (01:02:59):
Went to kore great prices.

Speaker 1 (01:03:02):
All right, So Anthony, do you want to go out
with her again? Do you want to go out with
her again? Okay, I can't do it, all right, So
there you go, Donna. That's that's the reason he's blowing
you off.

Speaker 16 (01:03:09):
Yeah, now I heard it all. It was very clear.
So thanks. I just wanted to explain myself.

Speaker 1 (01:03:16):
Yeah, of course, and you know you'd left that out.

Speaker 7 (01:03:18):
Appreciate.

Speaker 13 (01:03:19):
I appreciate you, and and I feel a little bad.
I don't want to want to be too harsh, but
I mean it really threw me off. So I'm sorry
it didn't go that way, and I'm glad that you
didn't deny it.

Speaker 1 (01:03:31):
That's something, so all right, Well, thank you both for
going on the air with us. Really really do appreciate it.
Thanks Anthony. And by the way, Donna, if anyone's listening,
then maybe wants to, you know, hire you to work
for their repo company. Like you guys spend the night
with a guy take his car. All right, it's a

(01:03:54):

their end of the year list, the top whatever of

Speaker 10 (01:06:41):
None of them have been No.

Speaker 1 (01:06:48):
Booty and the Beast, the Hills have thighs.

Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
I would think there would be like cease and desists
from the actual, like from Disney on some of those.

Speaker 6 (01:07:00):
Well maybe there's so many of them that can't keep up.

Speaker 1 (01:07:02):
If Disney tried to sue the people that made Lelo
and Fist, that would make national news and the movie
Lelo and Fists would probably be a top seller.

Speaker 5 (01:07:13):
So they don't want to highlight it.

Speaker 1 (01:07:15):
Right, Probably I'm just assuming gross.

Speaker 9 (01:07:17):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:07:18):
I just wanted to share that with you. Who those
aren't the end of the year list. That should they
should get more attention. By the way, those were the
top movies, those were the award winners. Yeah, Hi, Belle Hi.

Speaker 15 (01:07:32):
I don't know if you guys remember a while back,
but I called because I was stressed out. I'm a
little OCD about my kitchen being used and my mother
in law was coming over. Oh yeah, And I don't
know if you remember, but she did use my kitchen
and I was comfortable. So that's the update. I was

(01:07:53):
comfortable with her using my kitchen. However, the reason why
she came over was for my wedding, so it was
just like a civil court wedding. But I did tell
her she can come over from Mexico to.

Speaker 4 (01:08:06):
Stay over with me.

Speaker 15 (01:08:08):
But the day before my wedding, her other son, which
is my husband's brother, had said, oh, I'm going to
play a joke on your husband, and he said, I'm
gonna ask him if he wants to go to the
strip club, so he does that. He asked him and
my husband said no, you know, I'd rather go to
the casino. But the mom followed up with saying, oh, yeah,

(01:08:31):
make sure you guys take condoms.

Speaker 1 (01:08:35):
Wherever they go where.

Speaker 3 (01:08:41):
The day before.

Speaker 15 (01:08:44):
Maybe for my wedding, and my husband didn't say anything
to her. I didn't say anything to her. I had
to stay quiet, like I bit my tongue so hard.
And then on my wedding day she wore white like
there was just like a lot of things that led
up to why I feel uncomfortable. Was now cut to
her coming over in January because I told my husband

(01:09:06):
husband I'm no longer offering our home for her to stay,
like she needs to stay in an airbnb. But I
feel like kind of bad because you know, I'm trying
to set up boundaries, because that, to me is a
boundary that crossed. But I don't know if I'm like
doing an excessive amount of boundary, Like I don't know.
I don't know if you think that's a little extreme

(01:09:26):
for her no longer to stay at our place or
I mean, after.

Speaker 1 (01:09:30):
That comment, let me ask you a couple questions about it.
So are you Mexican or is she Mexican?

Speaker 7 (01:09:36):
I'm Mexican and.

Speaker 15 (01:09:37):
She's she's from Mexico, But I'm like Mexican American, okay, because.

Speaker 1 (01:09:40):
You know, I mean Mexican moms and Mexicans have a
fantastic sense of humor. So when when her her sons
are going out to the strip club and going to
the casino and she says, make sure you take condoms?
Is she being funny? Like it sounds like I could
see I can see that as a joke. And then
at the same.

Speaker 15 (01:09:57):
Time, I was joking, but I take it as.

Speaker 1 (01:09:59):
A I know, but I know it was rude, but
it is funny to say that in front of the
guy's fiance, Like I could see that. Don't get me wrong,
I know that you're very sensitive about it. But then
I also, lets say, let's say she wasn't joking. Mexican
moms are also very protective of the boys, so she's like, oh,
you're gonna go take a condom.

Speaker 5 (01:10:20):
Okay, But that joke doesn't explain the wearing white on
the wedding day, because that's like everybody knows you don't
do that.

Speaker 1 (01:10:26):
Maybe she does.

Speaker 5 (01:10:27):
She does that, then it probably makes her think back
on the was that actually a joke yesterday?

Speaker 11 (01:10:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (01:10:33):
Well, and we know that.

Speaker 3 (01:10:34):
It's like, it's not just this one situation. There's been
a lot of situations with this mother in law that
have compiled.

Speaker 1 (01:10:40):
Yeah, but when you told your husband that she can't
stay with you, what does he say?

Speaker 15 (01:10:44):
He's like, Okay, that's fine. I want to avoid problems
that I'll cuss, like they need to stay at an
airbnb and like that that will okay, you know the solution,
which is great. But I just feel like, you know,
I like family. I like having my family altogether. I
just my family would never ever say that, like, and
I just find it a little weird coming from your mom.

Speaker 6 (01:11:03):
Yeah, it is a little much.

Speaker 5 (01:11:05):
You're better than you because I would have said something
I would have my mother in law.

Speaker 1 (01:11:10):
Yeah, yeah, okay, let us know. I mean it's a great.

Speaker 2 (01:11:19):
I feel like if you do kind of like if
she says she's joking and I know it's not funny
to you, like maybe you start like joking like.

Speaker 10 (01:11:27):
That back to her.

Speaker 1 (01:11:29):
Yeah, it is her husband there.

Speaker 15 (01:11:30):
Make some jokes about him, walk.

Speaker 1 (01:11:34):
In front of him. Make it said funny. All right, Belle,
thanks for listening, have a great day. Thank you for listening,
Thanks for calling for the update. I love that. Thank you.
