Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're on with Mario Lopez.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Here we go, Mario, Courtney Lopez back for a few
hours of radio fun.
Speaker 3 (00:06):
Got a pop culture pop quaze to dive into a
little later.
Speaker 4 (00:09):
Plus, we'll catch you up on the bus, share another
helpful life hack. We'll dig into our mentions to see
what's on your mind, and so much more so, turn
it up. Let's get the fun started. You guys are
on with Mario and Courtney Lopez.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
All on at On with Mario on Facebook and ex
add on on Mario Lopez on Instagram. Love hearing from you,
Mario and Courtney Lopez, your questions, comments, whatever you got
would you find honey?
Speaker 4 (00:32):
This is from at Penn State Roger And they said, Yo,
I don't know how forty percent of these dudes got
their hoodies back from their exes, but if you could
share that life hack, I'd appreciate that.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Yeah, I posted, you know, I'd like to post those fun,
kind of funny headlines. And there was one that said
fifty six percent of men say they never got the
hoodie they once lent to a girl. That's an odd
statistic right there. So I said, well, was forty four
percent that again their hoodie's back.
Speaker 5 (01:02):
Clearly they're no longer in their relationship.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
Well, is it a relationship or is it just you
let someone borrow it.
Speaker 5 (01:08):
I don't think there's any borrowing.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
I think they just they just take it.
Speaker 5 (01:10):
They just sort of take it.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
Take it. Well, our daughter takes all my hoodies. Yeah,
and they're too big, but she likes to wear them anyway.
And so if we weren't in the same house, I
don't know if I'd never see it again.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
So she she went on a field trip at school,
and I guess she could wear whatever they wanted. They
didn't have to wear their uniforms, and I guess they
thought her shirt showed a little bit of her belly.
So she borrowed a sweatshirt from one of the kids
in her class, and it was just like this navy
blue Nike one. And the other day school's been out,
(01:43):
and the other day I said, why do you still
have William's sweatshirt? And she goes, oh, he gave it
to me. I don't know if he did, but he's
not getting it back.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
Really, Okay, that's a whole another dude.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
More Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
You're all Mario Lopez more music outed your right after
we take a quick look at some of the new
stuff in TV and streaming.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
HGTV has a season nine premiere of A Rehab Addict.
The series follows Nicole Curtis as she restores historic homes
in both Detroit and Wyoming.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
That could be a very misleading title if you don't.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
Hear the rest of and Disney plus as a series
premiere of Ironheart, which follows a genius inventor and fellow
and MIT student who creates a suit of armor inspired
by iron Man.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
I wonder if that's a true story, because there's some
pretty bright people out there. You never know. That's something
Elon Musk would do. Al Mario Lopez a few more songs.
We're gonna share another helpful live hack. Quarto is back
after being out last week. Can you give us a hint? Quardo?
Speaker 4 (02:45):
All right, Well, we're gonna talk about the one food
you should add to your diet to increase brain function,
saying that I forgot to take mine today.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Al Mario Courtney Lopez quick stop into Quarto's corner.
Speaker 5 (02:58):
What you got for us, honey?
Speaker 4 (02:59):
Today we're talking about how strawberries can make you more
productive and increase brain function. I love strawberries. A study
from San Diego State University says that eating four strawberries
a day can improve how your brain functions. So the
study found that eating twenty six grams of freeze dried
strawberry powder made from freshberries every day for eight weeks
(03:22):
led to a better performance on cognitive test for memory,
attention and problem solving. So there's other health benefits as well.
The strawberries also help lower blood pressure and increase disease
fighting antioxidants in the blood.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
And strawberries are also delicious. I wonder if this would
be the case for other berries, like blackberries, blueberries, or
is specifically flood strawberries.
Speaker 6 (03:43):
Other berries do have antioxidants and stuff. I don't know
if it's the same.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
All berries are great for you, but this one I'm
specifically singling out the strawberry.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
Got it okay?
Speaker 6 (03:53):
Well?
Speaker 1 (03:54):

A lot of people excited for warmer weather vacations, of course,
bought One thing no one looks forward to is those
summer electric bills. Keeping the house cool is not cheap.
So what is the best temperature to set your air
conditioning on?
Speaker 4 (04:36):
Well, according to the US Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star program,
it's seventy eight degrees.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Oh come on, what do you what, you lizard?
Speaker 4 (04:46):
Or seventy degrees not follow this recommendation, though I'm guessing
nobody follows his recommendation. Consumer reports found seventy two degrees
was the most common setting. But that six degree difference
will asked you about ten percent more than keeping it
at seventy eight.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
That's a good investment money, Wilson. Can I tell you something,
seventy two degrees with the acon feels different than seventy
two degrees with a heater on too. Yep, it does.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Yeah, Mario Courtney Lopez ear music rolls on, but wanted
to quickly.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Mention that if you have of our favorite artists are
going to be popping up on TV?

Fleetwood from Fleetwood Mac seventy nine.

Speaker 6 (07:22):
Seventy eight as well.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
Wows one ah more. Mario Lopez coming up on Mario
Courtney Lopez. Almost halfway through the year, and I saw
this interesting list. I know the other day we talked
about some of the most unhinged baby names according to
actual healthcare workers. Well, these are the most popular baby
names of twenty twenty five so far. What do we
got so for boys. The top ten are in no
(07:45):
particular order.
Speaker 4 (07:46):
These are just the top ten. Noah, Liam, Oliver, Elijah, Matteo, Lucas, Levi,
Ezra Asher and.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
James huh okay, those are those are pretty strong names.
I don't I don't see any that are two outlandishes.
Speaker 5 (08:03):
Not crazy.
Speaker 4 (08:04):
No, And the top ten girls' names are Olivia, Amelia, Sophia, Emma, Charlotte, Isabella, Ellie,
Ava Mia and Aurora.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
Courtney's quite a few Italian names right there on that list,
So Yeahia, court Deny.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
I'm said, Cordo's not on there. How dare you next year?

Speaker 4 (08:34):
MGK has revealed the epic inspiration behind the name of
his daughter with Megan Fox.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
Yes, his daughter is named Saga and basically because it
was a saga for her to get there, and well,
her mom and dad aren't going to be together anymore,
so hopefully they're able to co parenthealthy.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
I saw comments someone said or Saga after their relationship.
Then there's that chapel Rowan opens up about the criticism
that makes.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
Her cry huh okay.
Speaker 4 (09:01):

Whip it Good.
Speaker 3 (09:44):
On more on Courtney Lopez. I don't know how much
this is still true, but summer used to be all
about huge movies. The summer blockbusters when we grew up
were just epics. So what are the highest grossing summer
movies of all time?
Speaker 4 (09:56):
Here's the top five based on Summer earnings at the
box office. So we have twenty twenty two's top gun,
Maverick that's at number one at seven hundred million.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
Wow, well tickets are so expensive and that one really
did bring people back to the theater, so okay.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
Second is last year's Inside Out too at six hundred
and fifty million.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
That's unbelievable. Did not see that one coming.
Speaker 4 (10:16):
That's followed by Jurassic World back in twenty fifteen, then
Barbie Incredibles too, and The Lion King they all did
over five hundred million, so I'm not too shabby.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
And Family Affair so something the whole family could see
all these movies.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
Poor Mario Lopez.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
A Mario Courtney Lopez. You know, we forgot to mention
this yesterday, but Monday was National Hydration Day, so important
to stay hydrated, especially with the temperatures rising. Some signs
you might be dehydrated.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
I get these all the time. Headaches, fluggishness, that weird,
dry mouth feeling is all part of the deal when
you're running on empty. Remember we all should be drinking
six to eight glasses of water a day, and if
we are going out in the summer heat, up to
twelve glasses a day, and that's just water, not sugary
or caffeinated drinks. And I know for me, water is
not my favorite thing, so I like to put in
(11:05):
some healthier flavored things like you know.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
I know, but those got other things that aren't exactly
great for you. So you should try to drink as
much water as you can.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
Correct but if you can't, look for the bat like
I get sugar free stuff, so I'm at least.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
You know not.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
Come on, Mario Lopez, here are getting close to the
end of our radio fund. Just one last thing to
get to, plus probably enough time to.
Speaker 5 (11:30):
Play a request or two before I get out.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
Of here at all.
Speaker 5 (11:32):
And Mario on X.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
Colin, Mario Courtney Lopez. Almost time pass a mic, but
not before we get to one last thing.
Speaker 5 (11:41):
Frasier, you've got something today.
Speaker 6 (11:42):
Right, Yes, I have a suggestion for a new documentary
series that you should probably check out, which is Pee Wee.
As himself, Paul Rubins sat down for like forty hours
of interviews, didn't tell the filmmakers that he had been
battling cancer for the last six years, and they go
through everything from the beginning of his life through how
he created Pee Weee all the scandals, and it is
(12:05):
really really interesting and sad. I mean, there's a lot
of sadness to it. But he was a fascinating dude
who worked with David Hasselhoff, like all these other stars
that you.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
Know, he's a fascinating guy in general. Chiechin' Chong game.
His break back that day? Is it one episode?
Speaker 6 (12:23):
It's two and they're both like an hour forty.
Speaker 5 (12:25):
We should check it out.
Speaker 4 (12:27):
I really do want to see that because I always
felt like a distant friend of his because he always
sent us Christmas cards. Even when we moved, he found
our new address.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
Poor Mario Lopez coming up.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
That's it. Thanks so much for hanging out with us
all Mario dot Conry Live, all your radio fun. We'll
be back again do it tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (12:44):
Until then, this is Mario and Courtney Lopez saying goodnight
Speaker 1 (12:48):
With Mario Lopez.
